The space systems are being operated in a uncertain space environment and are desired to have autonomous capability for long periods of time without frequent telecommunications with the ground station. At the same time, requirements for new set of satellite system set of projects/systems calling for "autonomous" operations for long unattended periods of time are emerging. Since, by the nature of space systems, it is desired to perform its mission flawlessly and also it is of extreme importance to have fault-tolerant sensors and actuators for the purpose of validating science measurement data for the mission success. This studies focused on the identification/demonstration of critical technology innovations that will be applied to the Validation Control System.

In this paper, we develops a domestic and foreign first reinforced cover glass grinding process for large surface TPS and resolves a problem of conventional cover glass grinding process through a research. Also, it is developed in priority to improve a productivity and processing quality emphasis. The development process develops a total process technology through a production and operation of demonstration unit. so, in this paper, we secured cover glass grinding process technology, image processing technology, mechanisms and control algorithms.

Indexing is a prerequisite function for the information retrieval system in order to retrieve the information of the documents effectively which are saved in database. As a digital data increases in accordance with the development of a computer, the numbers of literatures to be saved in database have also been increased in a large volume. To retrieve such documents of large volume, a lot of system resources and processing time will be required. In this paper, we suggest a advanced indexing method using text partition. This method can retrieve the documents of large volume in short processing time. We applied this suggested indexing method to real information retrieval system, and proved its excellent functions through the demonstration.

High temperature superconducting (HTS) cable could be regarded as one of the most promising technologies for large electric power delivery with high reliability and low losses of power transmission system. Therefore, since 2001, LS Cable Ltd. has been developing 22.9kV, 50MVA HTS cable system as a member of DAPAS (Dream for Advanced rower system by Applied Superconductivity technology) program. In 2003, 22.9kV HTS cable system, single-core cable employing BSCCO HTS wires was firstly manufactured in 2003, and then three-core cable was also successfully developed through the demonstration of its field applicability. In this paper, based on these experiences, the relevant design technology and transient characteristics of HTS cable is described.

1.The domestic waste generated in Iksan city was 177 tons a day last year. 27 tons of that were recycled daily. Due to increased awareness the recycling rate also increased. 2. It is preferred to get continuous publicity and to enforce the program steadily to activate exchange centers and places like a flea market for reusable things, which will lead to increase the life-span of the current designated landfill site. 3. Because burying food waste in underground will be prohibited from year 2005, the reutilization of food waste by feeding domestic animals like ducks and making artificial fertilizer are preferred. 4. The case of Iksan city is expected to be a model to other cities by establishing a display room to accommodate its detail work demonstration, displaying modeled utilization items and exchange center, incinerator, duck ranch, lawn ground, etc. for making a city as an environmental preservation city model.

This study was done to identify Newcastle disease virus(NDV) antigens in paraffin sections of various organs from experimentally NDV-infected chicken using peroxidase-antiperoxidase(PAP) technique. Sections were Incubated with rabbit anti-NDV polyclonal as first antibody, followed by incubation with goat anti-rabbit IgG conjugate and peroxidase anti-peroxidase ( PAP ). Positive reactions were often detected in the epithelim of trachea and in the lymphocyte of spleen at 24 hours after virus inoculation. The viral antigen was localized mainly in the cytoplasm of infected cells. The method approved to be highly specific for the indetification of NDV and allowed a precise localization of the viral antigens in infected cells.

As the water supply facilities are recently getting larger, the domestic waterworks become multi-regional water supply system. Large water supply facilities generally consist of the intake pumping station, water treatment plant and water supply/distribution facilities. Although the pumping stations and the pipeline systems are used to pump up water, it often happens pipeline damage and flooding accident by the water hammer. In this paper, the intake pumping station is guaranteed by both the computer simulation and the field test analysis. This study is contributed to the safe operation program for the pumping station in which results of the adjustment on the safety plan of the pumping station, the air valve and the valve closing time.

The perpose of this study is to report the effect of oriental demonstration treatment for Acne. Acne is an facial skin problems with depress, white head on the facial skin and bad smell. Objectives We experienced one case of Acne through acupuncture, cupping, herbal medication and herbal patch. 24 years old female patient suffered from acne with bad smell and depress. Method She was taken 23 times of acupuncture and cupping treatment, 30days of taking herb medicine and 7days for herbal patch(brand named Lee Myung Lae patch). Results After 23 times treatment her acne symtoms was improved. Conculusion Asian medical treatment could be safe and effective to American patient.

This paper for the Train control system which has been used in the railway system for the purpose of headway control is regarded as safety-critical system, which is based on embedded controller. Therefore, for the maintainability, the maintenance time shall be predicted correctly in order to improve availability of railway system and the predictive values shall be proved through the test. In conclusion, for the maintainability of train control system, the solution for exact prediction based on related international standard and the system for justification of derived predictive values shall be proposed.

Based on fuzzy logic algorithm this paper constructed fuzzy logic controller for automated vehicles. For passenger´s convenience especially comfortability controller need to reduce the frequency of input variable´s changing. So we established membership functions for comfortability as well as speed following. It made possible to control comfortability directly. To demonstration the efficiency of fuzzy logic controller, we carried out simulation with a automobile´s transfer function. First, we designed the PID controller by using Ziegler-Nichols tunning method.
