Recently, as the number of patients with dementia using nursing homes increases, the interest about the quality of care services is increasing. Job satisfaction of caregivers is very important factor in the quality of care service. In addition, as perception of human rights is heightened, human rights behavior in nursing homes is also recognized as an important factor. The purpose of this study is to investigate the structural relationship between job satisfaction and human rights behavior, job stress, and social support of dementia workers who have significant influence on quality of care service. For this purpose, 210 questionnaires were collected from 300 dementia workers working in the elderly nursing home, day night care center, and domiciliary visit care center in Gyeonggi province. After excluding 13 questionnaires, the questionnaires were analysed by AMOS and SPSS 21.0. The results of the analysis are following. It was found that job stress significantly affects the social support directly (-.276). Also, social support significantly affects job satisfaction (.315). On the other hand, human rights advocacy has a direct effect on job satisfaction (.175) and an indirect effect (.102), showed a total effect of (.277). The results of this study suggest that in order to improve the job satisfaction of the dementia workers, it is necessary to increase the human rights advocacy behavior and reduce the job stress in an environment that recognizes the social support.
There are not that many m-health related services limited to the elderly. Many of the elderly who are at risk of dementia are unfamiliar to smart devices, so it is required to design an user-customized App. Therefore, I design and embody a mobile voice alert integrated app, which enables voice input to increase the accessibility of the elderly, so as to prevent diseases caused by declined cognitive function such as dementia. I conducted interviews and questionnaire after having the students use the app in Lifelong Education Center in H region of Gyeongbuk, and the analysis result has showed the high satisfaction. It is expected that it will be able to play a key role for M-Health service for the elderly since it is possible to prevent dementia through the voice health care alert app. I would like to learn deep learning in the future to predict the life patterns and the possibility of dementia of the elderly.

Purpose : This study highlights the importance of occupational therapy at adult day care centers by examining the current state of this therapy at these centers. Methods : Data on 1,527 adult day care centers in South Korea were retrieved from a long-term care insurance site for the elderly and were statistically processed. Results : Of these centers, 1,331 (87.2 %) were cognitive activity-oriented, 37 (2.4 %) were exclusively for dementia treatment, and 159 were nonspecialized centers (10.4 %). A second finding was that 294 (19.3 %) of the centers operated occupational therapy programs. Third, only 40 occupational therapists (2.6 %) were working at one of these 1,527 care centers nationwide. Fourth, the occupational therapy programs comprised 4.91 ± 3.93 cognitive enhancement programs per center, 2.58 ± 2.26 training assistance programs per center, and other programs 2.56 ± 2.58 per center. Fifth, a regional comparison of the operation of occupational therapy programs at these centers showed a statistically significant difference in the number of programs between Seoul and other regions. Conclusion : Although most adult day care centers currently deliver cognitive enhancement programs, they show a low employment rate of occupational therapists. Therefore, additional research involving workers at adult day care centers is required to investigate perceptions and the necessity of occupational therapy.

This study is a descriptive research study to identify Unmet Dementia Information Needs (UDIN) for caregivers of dementia patients at Dementia Relief Center and to understand the effectiveness of the program for workers. The subjects were 114 caregivers and 217 practitioners from dementia relief centers in 25 autonomous districts of S city from November 1, 2019 to January 31, 2020. The UDIN questionnaire is a 7-point Likert scale. The Crisis Management Questionnaire is a Likert 5-point scale consisting of 10 questions from 6 categories. As a result of the study, the proportion of depressed caregivers experiencing UDIN was 12.3times higher than those who did not (p<.001). The program effectiveness was 8.98times better than those who perceived the lack of risk management as good (p=.004), and social workers were 2.81times better than nurses (p=.091). It is necessary to conduct interactive operations to meet the needs of the community residents by listening to their diverse opinions rather than simply implementing a one-sided policy to raise the service of a dementia relief center to the highest level in a short period of time.

Method : For the analysis of newspaper articles, "Long - Term Care Insurance for the Elderly + Occupational Therapy for the Elderly" was collected after the period from 2007 to 208. Naver, which has a high share of the domestic search engine, utilized the database of Naver News by utilizing Textom, a web crawling tool. After collecting the article title and original text of 510 news data from the collection of the elderly long term care insurance + occupational therapy search, we analyzed the article frequency and key words by year. Result : In terms of the frequency of articles published by year, the number of articles published in 2015 and 2017 was the highest with 70 articles (13.7%), and the top 10 terms of the key word analysis showed the highest frequency of 'dementia' (344) In terms of key words, dementia, treatment, hospital, health, service, rehabilitation, facilities, institution, grade, elderly, professional, salary, industrial complex and people are related. Conclusion : In this study, it is meaningful that the textual mining technique was used to more objectively confirm the social needs and the role of the occupational therapist for the dementia and rehabilitation in the related key keywords based on the media reporting trend of the elderly long - term care insurance for 11 years. Based on the results of this study, future research should expand research field and period and supplement the research methodology through various analysis methods according to the year.
Purpose: This study was done in order to examine the differences in gender respect to care burden, fatigue, and life contentment of family caregivers of elderly with dementia. Methods: The setting of the study was a community-based dementia care center providing daycare services. One hundred ninety four caregivers were recruited for the survey. A structured questionnaire was used which included demographic information, care burden, fatigue, and general contentment scales. Caregivers were classified into 4 groups by gender relationship with care recipients. Results: The majority of the caregivers were middle-aged and elderly. More than twice as many were female rather than male caregivers. The results showed that women caregivers expressed more fatigue than men overall (p < .05). In the gender relationships, a different combination of man-woman appeared to have more burdens than that of a woman-woman group (p < .05). For fatigue, the man caregiver-woman elderly group showed a higher fatigue score than a woman-man group (p < .05). However, there was no significant difference in life contentment among groups. Conclusion: These results suggest that caregiver's gender and gender relationship with elders could be considerable factors when the nurses make a plan in the community for dementia nursing management services.
