Nowadays, as a result of increasing income and spare time, the social demands for better living environment become more increasing. Above all, landscape improvement, the essential part of physical environment, will be a more important subject in urban planning. In these circumstances, classification of urban scenic quality is required for urban landscape development programs. The major purpose of this study is to suggest a technical method of designing urban scenic quality map for urban district area based on the scenery management system of the USDA forest service and literature studies. As a conclusion of this study, four steps are desirable for the technical method for designing a scenic quality map of urban districts areas : 1) Define a landscape unit on the map, 2) Take a photograph of these landscape unit on site, 3) Evaluate the landscape unit by semantic differential scale with landscape adjectives, and 4) Draw the scenic quality map, investigate the landscape characteristics and suggest the landscape scenic development plans.

Major industries in Gyeongnam area include robot and automobile manufacturing, shipbuilding, and aviation. According to the research, the mechanical part of the products has been advanced, but awareness over the improvement of quality of the software still lacks. The quality performance test presently conducted by the companies in Gyeongnam is mostly the manual performance test performed by the program manager. In order to systematize this and extend the range of using software testing tools, the current study intends to suggest the necessity for conducting a survey on demand to improve performance and securing testing tools such as measured data analysis. Accordingly, this study is going to investigate 33 companies in Gyeongnam related with software in each of the major business areas centering around the actual field and examine activities related to software quality. And after figuring out the current status of retaining testing tools, the study will suggest the ways to enhance recognition over software quality and propose ultimate solutions to solve the problems on the current stage by finding out how to share information as much as possible in order to lay the foundation for extending the range of activity for the sake of software quality.

SmartThings is one of the most popular open platforms for home automation IoT solutions that allows users to create their own applications called SmartApps for personal use or for public distribution. The nature of openness demands high standards on the quality of SmartApps, but there have been few studies that have evaluated this thoroughly yet. As part of software quality practice, code reviews are responsible for detecting violations of coding standards and ensuring that best practices are followed. The purpose of this research is to propose systematically designed quality metrics under the well-known Goal/Question/Metric methodology and to evaluate the quality of SmartApps through automatic code reviews using a static analysis. We first organize our static analysis rules by following the GQM methodology, and then we apply the rules to real-world SmartApps to analyze and evaluate them. A study of 105 officially published and 74 community-created real-world SmartApps found a high ratio of violations in both types of SmartApps, and of all violations, security violations were most common. Our static analysis tool can effectively inspect reliability, maintainability, and security violations. The results of the automatic code review indicate the common violations among SmartApps.

Objectives : This study was to determine how the perception and the satisfaction of outpatients who utilized clinics and hospitals are structurally related with their willingness to utilize the same institution in the future. Methods : Three hundred and ten responses (via convenient sampling) were collected from 5 hospitals and 20 clinics located in Seoul listed in the "Korea National Hospital Directory 2005". Service quality was utilized as the satisfaction measurement tool. For analysis, we used a structural equation modeling method. Results : The determining factors for general satisfaction with medical services are as follows: medical staff, reasonability of payment, comfort and accessibility. Such results may involve increased competition in the medical market and increased demands for quality medical services, which drive the patients to visit hospitals on their own on the basis of changed determining factors for satisfaction. Conclusions : The structural equation model showed that the satisfaction of outpatients with the quality of medical services is influenced by a few sub-dimensional satisfaction factors. Among these sub-dimensional satisfaction factors, the satisfaction with medical staff and payment were determined to exert a significant effect on overall satisfaction with the quality of medical services. The structural relationship in which overall satisfaction perceived by patients significantly influences their willingness to use the same institution in the future was also verified.

In the latest, the construction period became the most important factor in the domestic building works because buildings is higher and larger gradually. Accordingly, cold-weathering concrete constructions are performed more and more. So, the demands of concrete quality management methods are increased in cold-weathering concrete constructions. In this study, the mock-up experiment was performed to correct input data in the kimpo H construction field. Using the results of this experiment, the method of temperature analysis was presented to prevent early aged freezing damage and to control thermal crack in this study.

Due to the recent growth of die/mold machining industry, demands for the high-precision and the high0quality of die product are increasing rapidly. Free surfaces of die/mold are often manufactured using the ball-end milling process. It is difficult to find the cutting condition of the ball-end milling process due to the free form machining for the various tool paths on inclined surface.
