시스템의 신뢰도와 수요 반응을 고려한 발전 운영 (Generator Scheduling Considering System's Reliability and Demand Response)

  • Customers hardly change to electric prices in old days because electricity is essential commodity, while demand changes with price after deregulation. It's explained by price-based demand response with demand-elasticity matrix. Also all of the customers have had identical demand-price elasticity matrix till now. But in a practical power system, various customers are present with taking a variety of demand-price elasticity. Therefore this paper proposes demand-price sensitivity to represent different demand-price elasticity. Also as proposing demand-reliability sensitivity, it is modeling various customers' characteristics to reliability. And then this paper calculates total expected interruption cost of customer from the customer interruption cost and the demand-reliability sensitivity. A total expected interruption cost of system is shown as opportunity cost of a generation cost.

  • In this paper sensitivity analysis of temperature on special day electricity demand of land and Jeju Island is performed. The basic electricity demand per 3 hours is defined as electricity demand that reflects the GDP effect without the temperature influence. The temperature sensitivity per 3 hours is calculated through the relationship between special day electricity demand normalized to basic electricity demand and temperature. In the future, forecast error will be improved if the temperature sensitivity per 3 hours is applied to the special day load forecasting.

  • Recently, the power load is growing larger and because of the environmental limitation of generation, the expansion of generation facilities are becoming more difficult. For that reason the importance of the demand-side resources come to be higher. One method of the demand-side resource, the DLC Program, has executed, and moreover, the loads which are available to be controlled are increasing. It should be considered of some kinds of power system components such as DLCs, because the fact that using the demand resources will be an important part of the power system. This paper considers the power factor of the load-bus which is shedded in the direct load control program. and then analyze the power system using flow sensitivity and voltage sensitivity. In this paper, we assumed two scenarios through the rank of the load power factor at each bus and to compare and evaluate each case, we used Power World for the simulation.

  • Short-term load forecasting(STLF) for electric power demand is essential for stable power system operation and efficient power market operation. We improved STLF method by using hourly temperature as an input data. In order to using hourly temperature to STLF algorithm, we calculated temperature-electric power demand sensitivity through past actual data and combined this sensitivity to exponential smoothing method which is one of the STLF method. The proposed method is verified by case study for a week. The result of case study shows that the average percentage errors of the proposed load forecasting method are improved comparing with errors of the previous methods.

  • 요구-철회 커뮤니케이션은 연속적 언쟁에서 나타나는 주요한 역기능적 의사소통 패턴이다. 본 연구는 이러한 요구-철회 패턴이 연속적 언쟁의 지속성을 어떻게 증가시키는지 이에 영향을 주는 요인을 밝히고자 한다. 본 연구는 거절 민감성이 파트너의 부정 행동 인식과 긍정적인 상관관계를 형성하고 이는 연속적 언쟁 시 나타나는 요구-철회 패턴에 정의 영향을 끼칠 것이며 이러한 일련의 과정이 연속적 언쟁이 해결되었다고 인식할 가능성을 낮출 것으로 가정했다. 직렬 매개모형을 분석한 결과 연속적 언쟁이 해결되었다고 인식하는 것과 상관없이 거절 민감성은 연속적 언쟁이 상호 합의를 수반했다는 인식에 부정적인 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 부적 상관관계는 부분적으로 개인의 거절 민감성이 연인관계에 있는 파트너가 일반적으로 부정 행동을 하는 것으로 인식할 가능성을 높임으로써 연속적 언쟁 시 자기 요구-파트너 철회의 의사소통을 발생시키기 때문인 것으로 나타났다.

  • 기존의 고정수요(Fixed Demand)를 전제로 한 가로망 설계 모형에서는 가로망의 구조나 용량이 개선되더라도 장래 기·종점 통행수요는 변하지 않는다고 가정한다. 이는 단기적인 가로망 설계에서는 성립할 수 있지만, 현실적으로 기·종점 통행수요는 네트워크 서비스수준에 따라 변화하므로 고정수요를 전제한 장기적인 가로망 설계문제에서는 그 타당성을 잃어버린다 그러므로 장래 최적 가로망 설계는 현실적 여건과 교통특성상 기·종점 통행 수요가 모형 내부에서 결정되는 내생변수로 처리하는 가변수요(Variable Demand)를 반영한 가로망 설계 문제로 모형을 구축하는 것이 바람직하다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 논문은 가변수요를 갖는 가로망 설계문제에 대한 이중계층 모형을 구축한 다음, 가로망내의 특성치가 변화하였을 때 그 파급영향을 먼저 파악하고 현 가로망 개선에서 가장 먼저 고려해야 할 링크를 찾아내기 위해 민감도 분석을 수행하였고, 민감도 분석과 연관되어 전체 시스템 효과척도를 최적화할 수 있는 대안적인 알고리즘을 제시하고 적용하여 구축된 모형으로 그 유효성을 검증하였고, 기존 고정수요 가로망 설계기법에 내재된 한계점을 극복하고자 하였다.

Sensitivity Analysis for Production Planning Problems with Backlogging

  • This paper addresses sensitivity analysis for a deterministic multi-period production and inventory model. The model assumes a piecewise linear cost structure, but permits backlogging of unsatisfied demand. Our approach to sensitivity analysis here can be divided into two basic steps; (1) to find the optimal production policy through a forward dynamic programming algorithm similar to the backward version of Zangwill [1966] and (2) to apply the penalty network approach by the author [1986] in order to derive sensitivity ranges for various model parameters. Computational aspects are discussed and topics of further research are suggested.

Sensitivity Analysis for Joint Pricing and Lot-sizing Model with Price Dependent Demand under Day terms Supplier Credit in a Two-stage Supply Chain

  • In this paper, we analyze the buyer's joint pricing and lot-sizing model in a two-stage supply chain consisting of the supplier, the buyer and the customer. It is assumed that the supplier will permit a certain fixed period for settling the amount the buyer owes to him for the items supplied in order to stimulate the demand for the product. Generally, credit transactions would have a positive effect to the buyer. The availability of credit transactions from the supplier effectively reduces the cost of holding stocks for the buyer and therefore, the buyer has a lot of price options to choose his sales price for a customer in anticipation of increased the customer's demand and, as a result, it will appear to increase the buyer's inventory levels. On the other hand, in the case of decaying products in which their utility decay over time, the decaying rate with time may be expected to reduce inventory levels. In this regard, we need to analyze how much the length of credit period and the decaying rate affect the buyer's pricing and lot-sizing policy. For the analysis, we consider the situation where the customer's demand is represented as a linearly decreasing function of the buyer's sales price. From this perspective, we formulate the buyer's annual net profit and analyze the effect of the length of credit period and decaying rate of the product on the buyer's inventory policy numerically.

  • A single item order level inventory model for perishable products is considered in which a constant fraction of on hand inventory spoils per unit time. Demand linearly depends on time. The fluctuation of demand is taken into account to determine minimum total cost of the system. Both discrete and continuous fluctuations are considered. The model is developed and solved analytically for infinite time horizon. A numerical example is presented for finite time horizon. Sensitivity analysis of the model is carried out.
