  • This paper investigate the optimum thickness distribution of plate structure with different essential boundary conditions in the fundamental natural frequency maximization problem. In this study, the fundamental natural frequency is considered as the objective function to be maximized and the initial volume of structures is used as the constraint function. The computer-aided geometric design (CAGD) such as Coon's patch representation is used to represent the thickness distribution of plates. A reliable degenerated shell finite element is adopted calculate the accurate fundamental natural frequency of the plates. Robust optimization algorithms implemented in the optimizer DoT are adopted to search optimum thickness values during the optimization iteration.   • 이 논문에서는 복합재료 적층판 해석을 위해 등가단층요소와 부분-선형 층별 적층요소를 서로 연계시킨 결합요소를 제안하였다. 등가단층요소는 퇴화 쉘요소에 의해 정식화되었으며, 반면에 부분-선형 층별요소의 경우 면내변위는 부분적 선형변화로, 두께방향으로의 면외변위는 일정하다고 가정하였다. 제안된 유한요소모델은 p-수렴방식에 기초를 두고 있다. 변위장 보간을 위해 적분형 르장드르 다항식이, 수치적분을 수행하기 위해서는 가우스-로바토 적분을 각각 채택하였다. 이 연구에서는 주로 p-수렴 결합요소의 검증을 위해 다양한 형태의 유한요소 다중모델에 대해 안정된 수치해석값을 보여주는 지에 초점을 두었다. 채택한 예제는 정해를 쉽게 알고 있는 단순한 문제로 인장력을 받는 평판 또는 연직하중을 받는 캔틸레버보에 적용하여 제안된 요소의 성능을 평가하였다.

Finite Element Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Shear Walls with a Crack under Cyclic Loading

  • The present paper investigates the nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete shear walls with a crank based on a finite element analysis. The loading type is a horizontal cyclic one such as earthquake loads. Experiments of the shear walls with and without cranks, performed previously to see flow the behavior changes depending on the crank, are compared with the results obtained from the finite element analysis. The finite element analysis is based on an isoparametric degenerated shell formulation. The nonlinear constitutive equations fur concrete are modeled adopting the formulation based on a concept of Ring Typed-Lattice Model. The experiments indicate that the shear walls with a crank have low stiffness and relatively low carrying capacity compared with an ordinary plane shear wall without cranks and that they are more ductile, and the tendency is a1so confirmed based on the finite element analysis. Moreover, a good agreement between the experiments and analyses is obtained, accordingly, it is confined that the present numerical analysis scheme based on the Lattice Model is a powerful one to evaluate the behavior of reinforced concrete shear walls with cranks and without cranks.

  • 국부압축력을 받는 스트링거 보강 복합적층 만곡 판넬의 좌굴 및 후좌굴 거동을 개발한 유한요소프로그램을 이용하여 해석하였다. 후좌굴 해석은 판넬거동을 세 가지로 나누어 해석하였다. 판넬과 보강재를 모델링 하기 위하여 8절점응축 쉘요소를 도입하고 비선형유한 요소 수식화를 위해 2nd Piola-Kirchhoff 응력텐서와 Lagrangian 변형률 텐서를 채택하였다. 파손 특성을 고려하기 위해 점진적 파손해석을 도입하였다. 국부축하중을 받는 복합적층 만곡 판넬의 좌굴하중 및 좌굴후 극한하중, 국부좌굴과 전체좌굴, 그리고 보강재 영향이 인자별로 해석 비교 된다.

  • 이 논문은 경계조건에 따른 판구조물의 최적두께분포 변화에 대한 연구결과를 기술하였다. 본 연구에서는 최소화하고자하는 변형에너지를 목적함수로 하고 구조물의 초기 부피 값을 제약조건으로 사용하였다. 판구조물의 두께분포를 표현하기 위하여 쿤이 개발한 조각 면을 이용하였다. 판의 변형에너지를 정확히 계산하기 위하여 퇴화 쉘 요소를 도입하였으며 반복계산을 통하여 최적의 두께분포를 검색하기 위하여 최적화검색기 DOT를 도입하였다. 마지막으로 경계조건에 따른 판의 최적두께 분포에 대한 정량적인 수치해석결과를 제공하기 위하여 정사각형 판을 최적화에 채용하고 그 결과를 자세히 기술하였다.

  • 지하터널은 그 경계가 반무한영역에서 설정되고 재료나 형상의 복잡성을 갖고 있기 때문에, 동적하중에 대하여 정확한 거동을 해석하기 위해서는 3차원 동적해석이 필요하다. 이때 일반적인 수치해석기법인 유한요소만을 이용한 방법은 인위적 경계에서의 파의 반사, 입력자료의 방대함 등으로 인하여 효율적이지 못하게 된다. 본 연구는 이러한 점을 고려하여 지하터널에 직접 가해지는 동적하중에 대한 효율적인 해석기법을 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 개발된 프로그램에서 지반의 반무한성은 3차원 경계요소로 고려되었으며, 구조물에는 3차원 동적해석을 수행한 결과 기존의 2차원 터널해석에서 고려가 곤란했던 차량의 진행하중으로 인한 반복효과가 합리적으로 반영되는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • 인발 와인딩에 의한 섬유강화 복합재료 중공 봉의 기계적 거동해석을 수행하였다. 이 목적의 수행을 위해 새롭게 제작된 와인더를 전통적 인발 시스템에 부탁하여 시편을 제작하였다. 또한 인발-와인딩된 시편을 제작할 수 있는 새로운 공법을 개발하였다. 이 연구를 위해 유한요소 해석 프로그램 POSTII를 확장 개발하였다. 비선형유한요소 수식화에는 2차 피올라-키르히호프 응력 텐서와 그린 변형률 텐서에 기초한 업데이트된 라그란지언 표현법이 사용되었다. 복합재료 중공봉의 유한요소 모델링을 위해 8절점 응축쉘요소를 사용하였다. 파손평가를 위해 모든 유한요소의 각 단층에서의 평균응력을 최대음력 판정법에 대입하였다. 수치해석 예로서 불포화 섬유강화 복합재료 중공 봉의 기계적 거동을 초기 하중상태에서 최종 붕괴가지 조사하였다. 파손에 따른 강성저하와 응력제하를 고려한 유한요소해석 결과는 극만 하중과 파손 및 변형에서 실험치와 잘 일치하였다.

Glochidium larva의 부착으로 인한 숙주어류의 피양형성과정에 관한 주사전자현미경적 연구 (2) (A Scanning Electron Microscopic Study of the Glochidial Encystment on the Host Fish (2))

  • A scanning electron microscopic stuey on the glochidial encystment study on the golchidal encystment and excystment of Anodonta fukudai on Acheilognathus yamatsutae, a common natural hostfish, was conducted. The glochidium easily attached to the unscaled surfaces of the host fish such as the fins, lips, and the wall of the buccal cavity. For this study, the fins infected with the glochidia wer mainly observed in a series. The process of encystment was slowly progressed, for 21-25 hours for the early cyst and for 2-4 days for the thick walled cyst. The process of excystmint was visually detected on the 12th day since the attachmint was occurred. The first visible sign was a little tear of the cyst wall covering the hinge and marginal zones of the juvenile clam and once the little sign was appeared the progress of emerging and dettachmint of the juvenile clam from the host was finished relatively in short time. During the process of the encystmint, the cells participationg in covering the attached glochidirm were seened mainly supplied by migration from the surroundings. the shapes of the cells migrating and covering the glochidium were considerably changed and the surface structures of the cells lost their normal pattern of the surface ridges. The unstable forms of the cells were observed almost all throughout the period of the glochidial attachment. No cells of the host epithelium, which were still attached to the juvenile clam energing from the cyst, were observed. The most juvenile clams escaped from the cysts were a little bigger than the glochidia and they were still possessed of the golchidial hooks even though much degenerated. The first growth line was appeared on the shell valves of the juvenild clam when observed right after dettachment.

  • 선체 외판의 곡가공에 사용되는 선상가열법은 역학적으로 대변형 열탄소성 문제라 할 수 있으며 문제의 난해함으로 인해 자동화 기술의 개발에 큰 어려움이 따르고 있다. 이의 해소를 위한 한 방법으로 장 등[1]은 선상가열에 의한 판의 변형을 효율적으로 계산하기 위한 간이 열탄소성 해석기법을 제안한 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 이를 개선하여 온도하강 과정에서의 인장항복을 고려한 새로운 해석기법을 제시하고 실험 결과와 비교 검증하였다. 또한 열탄소성 해석에 의해 구해진 고유변형도가 초기변형도로서 존재하는 탄성 대변형 문제를 다루기 위해 MITC4 응축 쉘요소를 이용한 FEA 프로그램을 구현하였다. 제안된 방법은 곡가공 자동화를 위한 변형의 예측 및 제어에 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

젓갈 성숙과정(成熟過程)에 있어 Protease 및 Formonitrogen의 변화(變化)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究)(1) (Changes in Protease and Formonitrogen of Salted Fish and Shellfish (1))

  • Salted fish and shellfish have been widely used in Korea from olden times as side-dishes, although the processes and methods of pickling have varied depending on localities. The common raw materials for these subsidiary food articles include anchovy, shrimp, yellow corvina, oysters, octopus, top-shell, shellfish, pollack roe and pollack intestines. It must be pointed out here, however, that the salted stuffs now marketed locally are highly unscientific and unsanitary in the way they are processed and sold, and this has prompted this writer to undertake a study on these native food articles. The following findings have been obtained from this study on the changes in Formonitrogen and Protease Activity, effected by the density of salt and the degree of storing temperature, of the pickles of cedfish gills, codfish intestines, pollack intestines, shellfish, oysters, cuttle fish and octopus. 1) Codfish Gills The Protease Activity of the pickled codfish gills was greater in the groups of lesser doses of salt and higher degrees of storing temperature. The same was true in the case of Formonifrogen, too. The Formonitrogen of the pickled codfish gills was larger in the groups of lesser salt and higher teimperature. 2) Codfish Intestines The amount of Formonitrogen of the pickled codfiah intestines became greater, as time went by, in the groups of lesser salt than those of larger doses of salt, with the speed of its formation getting faster as the storing temperature rose from $5^{\circ}C$ to $15^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$. The Protease Activity was also greater in the groups of lesser salt and higher temperature. The group, stored at 10% salt and $30^{\circ}C$, rotted in five days. 3) Pollack Intestines The amount of Formonitrogen of the pickled pollack intestines was greater in the groups of lesser amount of salt and higher degrees of storing temperature. The Protease Activity of the pickled pollack intestines began decreasing from the 11th day after the pickling in the groups stored at colmparatively high degrees of temperature$(15^{\circ}C-30^{\circ}C)$, while that of the group stored at $5^{\circ}C$ kept rising. The effects of the amount of salt were little. The group stored at 15% salt and $30^{\circ}C$ started rotting on the 13th day while that stored at $30^{\circ}C$ decayed on the 7th day. The group stored at 20% salt and $30^{\circ}C$ rotted on the 9th day. 4) Oysters The amount of Formonitrogen of the pickled oysters became greater as the storing temperature rose and the doses of salt were lowered. The Protease Activity was not affected at any measurable degree by the density of salt in the group stored at $5^{\circ}C$, but became greater as the storing temperature rose to $15^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$. The group stored at 10% salt and $30^{\circ}C$ rotted on the 5th day while that stored at 20% salt and $30^{\circ}C$ on the 13th day. 5) Shellfish The amount of Formonitrogen of the pickled shellfish became greater, as time went by, it the groups of lower consistency of salt than the groups of higher density of salt, although the decay of the former groups was faster than the latter groups. The density of salt best fitted for the pickling appeared to be about 20% with the storing temperature to be $15^{\circ}C$, at which the pickled stuff became most tasty on the 7th day. The oysters stored in three groups at $5^{\circ}C$, $15^{\circ}C$ and $30^{\circ}C$ respectively showed the greatest Protease Activity alike at 0% of salt, but the activity declined as the density of salt increased. The Protease Activity of each group rose for the first 11 days after the pickling, but began declining from the 13th day onward, with the groups of higher temperature retaining higher Protease Activity than the groups of lower temperature. 6) Cuttlefish Both the amount of Formonitrogen and the degree of Protease Activity of the pickled cuttlefish were greater in the groups of lower density of salt and higher degree of storing temperature. The oysters pickled at 10% salt and $15^{\circ}C$ degenerated on the 13th day while that of 10% salt and $30^{\circ}C$ deteriorated on the 7th day. 7) Octopus Both the Formonitrogen and the Protease Activity of the pickled octopus were greater in the groups of lower density of salt, but as time went by, the Protease Activity in all groups dwindled after a climbing. In general, the Formonitrogen and the Protease Activity of the pickled oysters became greater as the storing temperature got higher. One group stored at 10% salt and $15^{\circ}C$ rotted in 13days while another group stored at $30^{\circ}C$ decayed in 7 days.
