접근성의 개념과 측정치 (Concepts and Measures of Accessibility)

  • The main purpose of this paper is to define the concepts and measures of accessibility used in various disciplines. To do this, a significant literature review was conducted particularly in fields of traffic engineering, transportation planning, urban economics, urban planning, and geography of transportation. The result indicates that each discipline uses the concept of accessibility in a slightly different perceptual framework and thus shows somewhat ambiguous definition. The result also indicates that accessibility should serve as a tool to integrate transportation planning into the other connected disciplines.

낙인(stigma) 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of Stigma)

  • Aims. In order to analyze the concept of stigma, so to develop a valid instrument to measure stigma. Methods. First, a concept analysis was conducted with the aim of clarifying the state of the science of discipline-specific conceptualizations of stigma. The criterion-based method of concept analysis as described by Morse and colleagues was used (Morse et al., 1996; Morse, 2000). This analytic process enabled the assessment of the scientific maturity of the concept of stigma. The interdisciplinary concept of stigma was found to be immature. Based on this level of maturity it was determined that in order to advance the concept of stigma toward gloater maturity. techniques of concept development using the literature as data were applied. In this process, questions were 'asked of the data' (in this case, the selected disciplinary literatures) to identify the conceptual components of stigma. Results. The inquiry into the concept of stigma led to the development of an expanded interdisciplinary conceptual definition by merging the most coherent commonalties from each discipline. And the conceptual components of stigma were identified. The antecedent factors of stigma were "apart from social identity". The attributes of stigma were "devaluing, labeling, negative stereotypes, discrimination". The consequences of stigma were "social rejection, social isolation, deficiency of social support, low social status".

중용 수양과 교육 동의적 관계 탐색 (Exploring Consensual Relationships between Discipline and Education shown in "Jungyong")

  • 유교에서 교육 또한 가르치고 변화시키는 의미가 있으나, 『중용』 1장에서의 교(敎)의 의미는 매우 간명하고 함축적이다. 『중용』 1장에는 천명(天命)을 성(性)이라고 하고, 성을 따르는 것이 도(道)라고 하며, 이 도를 닦는 것을 교(敎)라고 하였다. 요약하면, 천명을 따르도록 닦는 것이 바로 교(敎)라는 것이다. 그러니까 『중용』 1장에서의 교(敎)의 의미는 바로 수(修)와 일맥상통한다. 여기서 교(敎)의 의미는 소위 『천자문(千字文)』이나 『논어』와 같은 경전을 가르친다든지 지식 전달을 말하는 것이 아니다. 세상의 이치와 사람의 도리 등을 깨치고 수양하는 의미이다. 수양은 자기 변화를 말한다. 교(敎)의 내면적 확충이 바로 수양이 되는 것이며, 타인에 대한 수양의 가르침이 바로 교육이 되는 것이다. 이처럼 최소한 『중용』 1장에서는 수양과 교육은 동의어이다. 나에게 향하면 수양이 되는 것이고, 타인에게 향하면 교육이 되는 것이다. 이것이 중요한 이유는 교육이 전정한 의미에 대한 재고의 여지 때문이다. 오늘날 교육에 대한 보편적 정의는 지식이나 기술의 전달이다. 그러나 『중용』에서는 다른 사람이 수양할 수 있도록 돕는 것이 교육이라고 하였다. 지식이나 기술 전달이 중요한 것이 아니라 본인의 천명을 스스로 깨닫도록 도와주어서 누구나 깨쳐서 행복하게 살 수 있도록 하는 것이 바로 교육의 본연의 역할임을 강조하였다.

  • 정보보호(Information Security)는 최근 사이버공간의 출현과 확장으로 인해 그 중요성이 점차 증가하고 있다. 1998년 미국 국방부 정보작전 교리에서 유래된 '정보보증(Information Assurance)'은 기존의 정보보호 개념에 대응과 복구를 포함한 광의의 적극적 보호, 정보체계 전 수명주기에서 보안관리, 위험분석 과정에서의 신뢰성 등을 추가한 개념으로서 현재 널리 사용중이다. 그러나 국내에서는 정보보증 개념을 잘못 이해하거나 정보보호와 혼용하여 사용하는 경우가 종종 발생하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 정보보증 개념의 명확한 이해를 위해 정보보증 관련 기존 문헌들을 고찰하여 정보보증 개념을 정의하고자 하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 정보보증 용어 정의의 주요 표현들에 대한 구문 분석을 수행함으로써, 용어 정의의 타당성을 제시하였다.

  • The paper proposes to consider information technologies and their application in the educational process as a preparation of presentation material for students of higher educational institutions. The definition and place of information technologies in the educational space are considered. The object of research of this work is the pedagogical technology of presentation of educational information, which substantiates the pedagogical technology of visualization of educational information in higher education, as well as determine its composition and structure. The practical side of pedagogical technology of educational information presentation is considered.

  • To give any science or discipline an assured status, the most important and fundamental thing is to establish the method of research. 'Bibliography' is an ambiguous and much-abused term in any area, oriental, anglo-american, or latin countries. This study is a little essay to examine the different theories of these three areas and to synthesize the common factors. It is devised three parts : the definition of the term itself and the transition of its concept, the introduction of each theory, and a proposition of methodology based on these theories. In all, bibliography is commonly understood to mean (i) a list of books and other graphic materials arranged according to some system, (ii) the study of books as material objects include historical and textual problems, (iii) as a science of books, the systematic study of all conditions of its production, diffusion, and utilisation, including the study of factors of explication of phenomenon, on the political, economical, technical, social and culturel plans.

수학의 교수학적 내용 지식(PCK)에 대한 연구의 메타적 검토 (A Meta Review of the Researches on PCK in Mathematics)

  • Considering the fact that PCK(pedogogical content knowledge) tends to guarantee the identity of mathematics education as a discipline and the teacher professionalism, PCK is one of the core concepts in the research on subject matter education. The purpose of this study is to review domestic and international researches on the definition and the components of PCK in mathematics. Based on the review, this study identified 3 knowledges which consist PCK; knowedge of mathematic content, knowledge of learner's understanding, and knowledge of teaching. Then this study provided some examples of PKC in the topic, the limit of sequences, and introduced the LMT and TEDS-M items, which were designed to measure the teacher's PCK. Lastly, this study attempted to evaluate the items on mathematics education included in the Teacher Employment Test administered for pre-service/. teachers in Korea based on PCK.

조선중기 양아록(養兒錄)을 통해 본 아동 인식 (The Conception of Children in the Middle Period of the Chosun Dynasty as Portrayed in a Personal Diary)

  • This study explored the conception of children as portrayed in a personal diary written the middle period of the Chosun Dynasty. The Yangalok is a daily record in which Moonkun Lee wrote how he brought up his grandson. The Yangalok is an important historical document, showing how people brought up their children and indicating their conception of childhood. Research questions included the definition of the period of childhood and a description of parent-child relationships. It was found that childhood was completed by age sixteen, the importance of the child as family member hinged on his position as an heir, and the parent-child relationship was defined by Chin(親), including qualities of both love and discipline.

Also, research is developed by optical fiber for Coherent communication recently.

The Necessity and Future Challenges of Science, Technology, Society and Humanities Fusion Research in Korea

  • Science, technology, society and humanities (STSH) fusion research is aimed at creating new research areas and methods that can resolve complicated issues in society that cannot be solved by a single academic discipline. This study identifies initiatives that can promote STSH fusion research in Korea. We review the definition and characteristics of STSH fusion research to analyze the necessity of STSH fusion research with a focus on the structural changes in the S&T environment. The emergence and diffusion of generic technologies, transition to post catch-up innovation mode, and the evolution of policy to the third generation innovation policy are identified as notable changes. This paper briefly reviews the status of fusion research underway and presents initiatives to promote STSH fusion research.
