Due to the explosive growth of multimedia speech data, how to protect the privacy of speech data and how to efficiently retrieve speech data have become a hot spot for researchers in recent years. In this paper, we proposed an encrypted speech retrieval scheme based on long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network and deep hashing. This scheme not only achieves efficient retrieval of massive speech in cloud environment, but also effectively avoids the risk of sensitive information leakage. Firstly, a novel speech encryption algorithm based on 4D quadratic autonomous hyperchaotic system is proposed to realize the privacy and security of speech data in the cloud. Secondly, the integrated LSTM network model and deep hashing algorithm are used to extract high-level features of speech data. It is used to solve the high dimensional and temporality problems of speech data, and increase the retrieval efficiency and retrieval accuracy of the proposed scheme. Finally, the normalized Hamming distance algorithm is used to achieve matching. Compared with the existing algorithms, the proposed scheme has good discrimination and robustness and it has high recall, precision and retrieval efficiency under various content preserving operations. Meanwhile, the proposed speech encryption algorithm has high key space and can effectively resist exhaustive attacks.

The directed tests produce an expectation model to assist the organization's heads and professionals with settling on the right and speedy choice. A directed deep learning strategy has been embraced and applied for SCADA information. In this paper, for the load shedding expectation overall power organization of Libya, a convolutional neural network with multi neurons is utilized. For contributions of the neural organization, eight convolutional layers are utilized. These boundaries are power age, temperature, stickiness and wind speed. The gathered information from the SCADA data set were pre-handled to be ready in a reasonable arrangement to be taken care of to the deep learning. A bunch of analyses has been directed on this information to get a forecast model. The created model was assessed as far as precision and decrease of misfortune. It tends to be presumed that the acquired outcomes are promising and empowering. For assessment of the outcomes four boundary, MSE, RMSE, MAPE and R2 are determined. The best R2 esteem is gotten for 1-overlap and it was 0.98.34 for train information and for test information is acquired 0.96. Additionally for train information the RMSE esteem in 1-overlap is superior to different Folds and this worth was 0.018.

In this paper, two prediction models based on deep neural network that could predict cross-sectional stiffness of a rotor blade were proposed. Herein, we employed structural and material information of cross-section. In the case of a prediction model that used material properties as the input of the network, it was designed to predict the cross-sectional stiffness by considering elastic modulus of each cross-sectional member. In the case of the prediction model that used structural information as a network input, it was designed to predict the cross-sectional stiffness by considering the location and thickness of cross-sectional members as network input. Both prediction models based on a deep neural network were realized using data obtained by cross-sectional analysis with KSAC2D (Konkuk section analysis code - two-dimensional).
This paper presents an approach for dynamic hand gesture recognition by using algorithm based on 3D Convolutional Neural Network (3D_CNN), which is later extended to 3D Residual Networks (3D_ResNet), and the neural network based key frame selection. Typically, 3D deep neural network is used to classify gestures from the input of image frames, randomly sampled from a video data. In this work, to improve the classification performance, we employ key frames which represent the overall video, as the input of the classification network. The key frames are extracted by SegNet instead of conventional clustering algorithms for video summarization (VSUMM) which require heavy computation. By using a deep neural network, key frame selection can be performed in a real-time system. Experiments are conducted using 3D convolutional kernels such as 3D_CNN, Inflated 3D_CNN (I3D) and 3D_ResNet for gesture classification. Our algorithm achieved up to 97.8% of classification accuracy on the Cambridge gesture dataset. The experimental results show that the proposed approach is efficient and outperforms existing methods.
Recently, neuromelanin and nigrosome imaging techniques have been developed to evaluate the substantia nigra in Parkinson's disease. Previous studies have shown potential benefits of quantitative analysis of neuromelanin and nigrosome images in the substantia nigra, although visual assessments have been performed to evaluate structures in most studies. In this study, we investigate the potential of using deep learning based automatic region segmentation techniques for quantitative analysis of the substantia nigra. The deep convolutional neural network was trained to automatically segment substantia nigra regions on 3D nigrosome and neuromelanin sensitive MR images obtained from 30 subjects. With a 5-fold cross-validation, the mean calculated dice similarity coefficient between manual and deep learning was 0.70 ± 0.11. Although calculated dice similarity coefficients were relatively low due to empirically drawn margins, selected slices were overlapped for more than two slices of all subjects. Our results demonstrate that deep convolutional neural network-based method could provide reliable localization of substantia nigra regions on neuromelanin and nigrosome sensitive MR images.

Trash or garbage is one of the most dangerous health and environmental problems that affect pollution. Pollution affects nature, human life, and wildlife. In this paper, we propose modern solutions for cleaning the environment of trash pollution by enforcing strict action against people who dump trash inappropriately on streets, outside the home, and in unnecessary places. Artificial Intelligence (AI), especially Deep Learning (DL), has been used to automate and solve issues in the world. We availed this as an excellent opportunity to develop a system that identifies trash using a deep convolutional neural network (CNN). This paper proposes a real-time garbage identification system based on a deep CNN architecture with eight distinct classes for the training dataset. After identifying the garbage, the CCTV camera captures a video of the individual placing the trash in the incorrect location and sends an alert notice to the relevant authority.

In this study, we propose a novel approach for rapid and accurate pathogen detection by integrating Polydiacetylene (PDA) hydrogel sensors with advanced deep learning algorithms and visualization techniques. PDA hydrogel sensors exhibit a color transition in the presence of pathogens, enabling straightforward and quick pathogen detection. We developed a reliable pathogen detection system that combines deep neural network algorithms with color quantification technology for image-based analysis. This image-based system retains the ease of pathogen detection offered by PDA sensors while deriving quantified color standards to overcome the limitations of human visual assessment, enhancing reliability. This advancement contributes to public health and the development and application of pathogen detection technology.
In this paper, the deep convolutional neural network for sound event detection is studied. Especially, the end-to-end neural network, which generates the detection results from the input audio waveform, is studied for weakly supervised problem that includes weakly-labeled and unlabeled dataset. The proposed system is based on the network structure that consists of deeply-stacked 1-dimensional convolutional neural networks, and enhanced by the skip connection and gating mechanism. Additionally, the proposed system is enhanced by the sound event detection and post processings, and the training step using the mean-teacher model is added to deal with the weakly supervised data. The proposed system was evaluated by the Detection and Classification of Acoustic Scenes and Events (DCASE) 2019 Task 4 dataset, and the result shows that the proposed system has F1-scores of 54 % (segment-based) and 32 % (event-based).

Deep learning-based profiling side-channel analysis is a powerful analysis method that utilizes the neural network to profile the relationship between the side-channel information and the intermediate value. Since the neural network interprets each point of the signal in a different dimension, jitter makes it much hard that the neural network with dimension-wise weights learns the relationship. This paper shows that replacing the fully-connected layer of the traditional CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) with global average pooling (GAP) allows us to design the inherently robust neural network inherently for jitter. We experimented with the ChipWhisperer-Lite board to demonstrate the proposed method: as a result, the validation accuracy of the CNN with a fully-connected layer was only up to 1.4%; contrastively, the validation accuracy of the CNN with GAP was very high at up to 41.7%.

In this paper, we propose a deep least squares support vector machine (LS-SVM) for regression problems, which consists of the input layer and the hidden layer. In the hidden layer, LS-SVMs are trained with the original input variables and the perturbed responses. For the final output, the main LS-SVM is trained with the outputs from LS-SVMs of the hidden layer as input variables and the original responses. In contrast to the multilayer neural network (MNN), LS-SVMs in the deep LS-SVM are trained to minimize the penalized objective function. Thus, the learning dynamics of the deep LS-SVM are entirely different from MNN in which all weights and biases are trained to minimize one final error function. When compared to MNN approaches, the deep LS-SVM does not make use of any combination weights, but trains all LS-SVMs in the architecture. Experimental results from real datasets illustrate that the deep LS-SVM significantly outperforms state of the art machine learning methods on regression problems.
