  • As deep learning with the network-based algorithms evolve, artificial intelligence is rapidly growing around the world. Among them, finance is expected to be the field where artificial intelligence is most used, and many studies have been done recently. The existing financial strategy using deep-run is vulnerable to volatility because it focuses on stock price forecasts for a single stock. Therefore, this study proposes to construct ETF products constructed through portfolio methods by calculating the stocks constituting funds by using deep learning. We analyze the performance of the proposed model in the KOSPI 100 index. Experimental results showed that the proposed model showed improved results in terms of returns or volatility.

  • Text classification has been studied for a long time in the Natural Language Processing field. In this paper, we propose an article- and paragraph-level genre classification system using Word2Vec-based LSTM, GRU, and CNN models for large-scale English corpora. Both article- and paragraph-level classification performed best in accuracy with LSTM, which was followed by GRU and CNN in accuracy performance. Thus, it is to be confirmed that in evaluating the classification performance of LSTM, GRU, and CNN, the word sequential information for articles is better than the word feature extraction for paragraphs when the pre-trained Word2Vec-based word embeddings are used in both deep learning-based article- and paragraph-level classification tasks.

  • Recently, IoT systems are cloud-based, so that continuous and large amounts of data collected from sensor nodes are processed in the data server through the cloud. However, in the centralized configuration of large-scale cloud computing, computational processing must be performed at a physical location where data collection and processing take place, and the need for edge computers to reduce the network load of the cloud system is gradually expanding. In this paper, a cluster system consisting of 6 inexpensive Raspberry Pi boards was constructed to perform fast data processing. And we propose "Kubernetes cluster system(KCS)" for processing large data collection and analysis by model distribution and data pipeline method. To compare the performance of this study, an ensemble model of deep learning was built, and the accuracy, processing performance, and processing time through the proposed KCS system and model distribution were compared and analyzed. As a result, the ensemble model was excellent in accuracy, but the KCS implemented as a data pipeline proved to be superior in processing speed..

  • As artificial intelligence technology has been developed rapidly, many researchers who are interested in next-generation vehicles have been studying on applying the artificial intelligence technology to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). In this paper, a method of applying deep learning algorithm to the lane departure warning system which is one of the main components of the ADAS was proposed. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated by taking a comparative experiments with the existing algorithm which is based on the line detection using image processing techniques. The experiments were carried out for two different driving situations with image databases for driving on a highway and on the urban streets. The experimental results showed that the proposed system has higher accuracy and precision than the existing method under both situations.

  • The existing aiming inspection use foreign-made aiming inspection equipment. However, the quantity is insufficient and the difficult to maintain. So it takes a lot of time to inspect the target. This system can reduces the time of aiming inspection and be maintained and distributed smoothly because it is a domestic product. In this paper, we develop a system that can detect targets and monitor shooting results through a target detection deep learning model. The system is capable of real-time detection of targets and has significantly increased the identification rate through several preprocessing of distant targets. In addition, a graphical user interface is configured to facilitate user camera manipulation and storage and management of training result data. Therefore the system can replace the currently used aiming inspection equipment and non-fire training.

  • In the Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS), the function of classification is very important, and detection performance depends on various features. Recently, a lot of research has been carried out on deep learning, but network intrusion detection system experience slowing down problems due to the large volume of traffic and a high dimensional features. Therefore, we do not use deep learning as a classification, but as a preprocessing process for feature extraction and propose a research method from which classifications can be made based on extracted features. A stacked AutoEncoder, which is a representative unsupervised learning of deep learning, is used to extract features and classifications using the Random Forest classification algorithm. Using the data collected in the IOT environment, the performance was more than 99% when normal and attack traffic are classified into multiclass, and the performance and detection rate were superior even when compared with other models such as AE-RF and Single-RF.

  • In the current technological society, where various technologies are converged into one and being transformed into new technologies, new cyber attacks are being made just as they keep pace with the changes in society. In particular, due to the convergence of various attacks into one, it is difficult to protect the system with only the existing security system. A lot of information is being generated to respond to such cyber attacks. However, recklessly generated vulnerability information can induce confusion by providing unnecessary information to administrators. Therefore, this paper proposes a mechanism to assist in the analysis of emerging cyberattack convergence technologies by providing differentiated vulnerability information to managers by learning documents using deep learning-based language learning models, extracting vulnerability information and classifying them according to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

  • People counting is an important technology to provide application services such as smart home, smart building, smart car, etc. Due to the social distancing of COVID-19, the people counting technology attracted public attention. People counting system can be implemented in various ways such as camera, sensor, wireless, etc. according to service requirements. People counting system using WiFi AP uses WiFi CSI data that reflects multipath information. This technology is an effective solution implementing indoor with low cost. The conventional WiFi CSI-based people counting technologies have low accuracy that obstructs the high quality service. This paper proposes a deep learning people counting system based on WiFi CSI data. Data preprocessing using auto-encoder, data augmentation that transform WiFi CSI data, and a proposed deep learning model improve the accuracy of people counting. In the experimental result, the proposed approach shows 89.29% accuracy in 6 subjects.

  • Lane detection is important technology for implementing ADAS or autonomous driving. Although edge detection has been typically used for the lane detection however, false detections occur frequently. To improve this problem, a deep learning based lane detection algorithm is proposed in this paper. This algorithm is mounted on an ARM-based embedded system to implement a LDW(lane departure warning). Since the embedded environment lacks computing power, the VGG-11, a lightweight model based on VGG-13, has been proposed. In order to evaluate the performance of the LDW, the test was conducted according to the test scenario of NHTSA.

  • In general, golden time refers to the most important time in the initial response to accidents such as saving lives or extinguishing fires. The golden time varies from disaster to disaster, but is aimed at five minutes in terms of fire and first aid. However, for the actual site, the average dispatch time for ambulances is 9 minutes and the average transfer time is 17.6 minutes, which is quite large compared to the golden time. There are various causes for this delay, but the main cause is traffic jams. In order to solve the problem, the government has established emergency car concession obligations and secured golden time to prioritize ambulances in places with the highest accident rate, but it is not a solution in rush hour when traffic is increasing rapidly. Therefore, this paper proposed a deep learning-based emergency vehicle priority signal system using collected sound data by installing sound sensors on traffic lights and conducted an experiment to classify frequency signals that differ depending on the distance of the emergency vehicle.
