  • This study suggests an indoor screen shooting system that can be connected with diverse graphic contents, through developing a gun only for indoor shooting and developing high-speed laser recognition algorithm. The dedicated gun has strong durability and was applied pneumatic solenoid valve control and invisible laser. The aim is to commercialize the indoor screen shooting system by developing a method of interacting with graphic engine through recognizing invisible laser at high speed.

  • In this paper which it is relating to the DSRC system based road side equipment, we propose the protocol stack architecture of road side equipment and the process structure of the main RM, L7 and LLC layers which is road side equipment device as well. And also we design the signal flow and data-transfer process as well between road side equipment and on board equipment to describe the installation process between road side equipment and von board equipment based on DSRC system. Thus, it is possible to provide various application services between intelligent transportation systems of road side equipment and local server, as well as it enables the local server managing the memorys of on board equipment which entry in service area thru the road side equipment.

  • In a transfer line with mass production capability, calibration systems are included in the process as a separate dedicated station. However, this method is not appropriate in an unattended FMC with flexibility. As the FMC produces vesatile parts with small batch sizes, more flexible calibration systems are required. In this paper, a calibration/inspection system suitable for an unattended turning cell is introduced. The system has functions of dimensional calibration of parts by touch probes, tool wear compensation, and quality monitoring of parts. Furthermore, characteristics of errors in the system are identified and corresponding compensation methodology is suggested. An operation software is developed for efficient use of the system.

  • Along with the increase of the importance of power quality, many various systems are dedicated in the analysis of power quality nowadays. But there still exists the same problems for realizing such kind of analysis systems well. One is the customization of the power quality measure devices; The other is an economic problem. This paper presents the usefulness and the advantage of the ICD (Intelligent Electronic Device) as the measure device of power quality And this paper detailedly describes the development procedure of web-based power quality monitoring system through ActiveX controls. Now this power quality monitoring system is already applied to the substation automation system.

  • Domestic car ferries do not operate a dedicated information system for cargo loading and management, It is impossible to arrange according to the cargo type and quantity at the time of cargo reservation due to restrictions such as the need to comply with the cargo layout drawings in advance approved by the Korean Register. For this reason, this is a study to utilize similar information systems in operation in container ships and terminals for the purpose of improving cargo shipment management tasks for car ferries.

  • This paper introduces an indoor sensor fusion wireless communication device which provides the Location Based Service (LBS) using fire prevention facility. The proposed system can provide information in real time by optimizing the hardware of Wi-Fi technology. The proposed system can be applied to a fire prevention facility (i.e., emergency exit) and provide information such as escape way, emergency exit location, and accident alarm to smart phone users, dedicated terminal holders, or other related organizations including guardians, which makes them respond instantly with lifesaving, emergency mobilization, etc. Also, the proposed system can be used as a composite fire detection sensor node with additional fire and motion detect sensors.

  • An automated mechanical parking system with a dedicated multi-floor building has been studied for improvements. Among the major components of the system, study is focused on the trolly which is the most important to the overall reliability of the system. The trolley holds and moves a parked vehicle horizontally into a specified position for the next sequence of operations. Optimization of a trolly structure is presented for strength and simplicity. With optimization, the weight has been reduced by 30% with respect to the conventional design.

  • There is a shared multibuffer method which can preventing HOL blocking in ATM switch. However, the system still has a problem that reduces the performance of the system because of the cell loss. Therefore, in this paper, preventing of cell loss in non-contentional shared multibuffer switch is suggested. To prevent cell loss, a structure is suggested that a cell can be loss in a certain slot time is stored in the dedicated temporary memory so the cell can be transferred in the next slot time. The simulation result of the structure, this suggested system superior performance than the exited system in cell loss rate and throughput.

  • This paper discusses the interacting mobile robots for tele-operation system using the world wide web. In multi-agent and web-based teleoperation environment the problem of communication delay must be solved for the efficient and robust control of the system. The standard graphic user interface(GUI)is implemented using Java Programing language. The web browser is used to integrate the virtual environment and the standard GUI(Java applet) in a single user interface. Users can access a dedicated WWWserver and download the user interface. Reinforcement learning is applied to indirect control in order to autonomously operate without the need of human intervention.   • This paper introduces the development of design capabilities for air cylinders and jig bases in a three-dimensional jig design system for automobile body assembly. We first built the standard part library for these parts, and then developed the dedicated 3D design capabilities based on the Unigraphics system. By using this 3-D jig design system, design can be performed more intuitively, and verification and simulation of design results can be done more easily as the 3-D design result can be used readily for virtual manufacturing simulation.
