진동타입기에 의한 쉬트파일의 관입속도 예측 (Prediction of Penetration Rate of Sheet Pile Driven by Vibratory Pile Driver)

  • 진동타입기에 의한 말뚝의 관입과정을 운동방정식으로 나타내고 수치적분법을 이용하여 말뚝의 관입속도를 예측할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 프로그램에 의한 관입속도 계산결과를 기존의 현장시험결과와 비교분석하였다. 프로그램에 의해 계산된 관입속도값은 말뚝의 근입깊이가 클수록 실측값에 가까운 값을 보였다. 작은 근입 깊이에서 실측값과 계산값의 차이가 큰 이유는 실제 시공시 작은 근입깊이에서는 말뚝의 휨운동과 비틀림운동이 커서 결과적으로 말뚝에 전달되는 연직방향 압축력이 감소되어 나타난 결과로 판단되었다.

  • In this paper, we investigated insulation property of epoxy resin which includes elastomers to improve mechanical property, as varied to additive elastomer contents and to moisture absorption. There are four samples with 5[phr], 10[phr], 15[phr] and 20[phr]. we experimented to acquire insulation property(absorption rate, dissolution rate, apparent rate) and electrical property(perittivity, $tan\delta$, BDV) during respectively the time such as 6[h], 12[h], 18[h], 24[h] for moisture absorption. According to the experimental results, it is appeared that when the additive elastomer contents are increasing or when specimens remain more moisture, absorption rate, dissolution rate, permittivity and $tan\delta$ are slightly increasing but apparent rate and BDV(break-Down Voltage) strength are decreasing in particular, elastomer content [20]phr appeared remarkedly the more increase or decrease than others.

휜이 달린 수소저항합금 베드의 수소저장 성능의 수치적 예측 (Numerical prediction of hydrogen storaging performance of finned metal hybride beds)

  • Heat and mass transfer behaviors of metal hydride beds were predicted by solving a set of volume-averaged equations numerically both for the gas (hydrogen) and the solid(metal hydride) phases. Time variations of temperature and hydrogen concentration ratio distributions were obtained for internally cooled, cylindrical-shaped beds with metal(aluminum) fins imbedded in them. Also, time variations of the space-averaged hydrogen concentration ratio were obtained. Temperature and velocity of the coolant, hydrogen pressure at the gas inlet, and the fin spacing were taken as the parameters. The hydrogen absorption rate increases with the higher velocity and the lower temperature of the coolant, and with the decrease of the fin spacing. Increasing of the hydrogen pressure at the gas inlet also promotes the rate of absorption though the increasing rate gradually slows down. The amount of the hydrogen storage per unit volume of the bed decreases with the tighter fin spacing despite of the higher absorption rate ; therefore, there should be an optimum fin spacing for a given volume of the system and the amount of the hydrogen storage, in which the absorption rate is the highest.

Output and Real Exchange Rate in Developing Countries: Evidence from China

  • Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between the real exchange rate and the output, which is based on the macroeconomic equilibrium theory in China. Its aim will be to verify whether the change in the real exchange rate has a significant effect on the output or not. Research design, data, and methodology - This study endeavors tries to investigate the correlation among economic variables under the macroeconomic market (the commodity market and the money market) equilibrium. So, time-series data from 1990 to 2016 is applied to establish a vector auto-regression (VAR) model so as to perform an empirical analysis. Results - The empirical results reveal that an increase in the real exchange rate will result in an increase in the output in the short run. However, the empirical results also indicate that this kind of mechanism cannot work in the long run. Conclusions - The effect of a decrease of real exchange rate on output is significant in the short run. Also, this paper suggests that the total supply and the total demand can promote economic growth. The fiscal and money policy play a significant role in economic growth in China as well.

Development of decontamination equipment to remove hot particulates contaminated in hot cell at KAERI

  • A new approach has been adopted to remove the hot particulates from nuclear facilities, KAERI, South Korea, by using the new compact cyclone train, made of steel ness steel, with optional vortex finder length. Flow rate results showed a dramatic change in removal efficiency, performance was changed with the change of exit tube length. The 15 m/s flow rate was found suitable one for new equipment with the 49 mm optimum exit tube length for 76 mm cyclone body diameter. Results shows the removal efficiency for $1\;{\mu}m$ was more than $65\%$ and for $10\;{\mu}m$ was seen ${\~}97\%$. Over 15 m/s flow rate, was not shown much different in removal efficiency. The removal efficiency increased with the flow rate, and pressure drop. Cut size diameter decrease with the inlet flow rate. Cut size diameter found lowest with 49 mm exit tube length and 15 m/s flow rate. For filters the performance decreased with the inlet velocity increased.

수종의 저장용액에서의 치은섬유모세포 생존율의 비교연구 (Comparative study on survival rate of human gingival fibroblasts stored in different storage media)

  • Objectives : To Compare the degree of survival rate of gingival fibroblasts, which is concerned with teeth adherence based on the type of avulsed tooth's storage solution. Methods : Different media gingival fibroblasts were stored in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium(DMEM), Hank's balanced salt solution(HBSS), milk, saline, and green tea in for 1, 2, 3 hours. And, MTT assay was conducted to compare survival rate of human gingival fibroblasts. Results : 1. The survival rate of gingival fibroblasts in DMEM and HBSS was higher than thoes in other storage media( Milk> Saline> Green tea). 2. The survival rate of gingival fibroblasts in milk, saline and green tea decreased as time passed. 3. Because of low osmotic pressure, green tea showed decrease of survival rate of gingival fibroblasts. Conclusion : DMEM and HBSS were the most effective storage media for gingival fibroblast. Among milk, saline, green tea, milk is most effective storage media for keeping gingival fibroblasts. Milk is recommended for storage media of avulsed tooth for keeping viability of cells.

차체용 고장력 강판의 동적 인장 특성 평가 (Dynamic Tensile Characteristics of the High Strength Steel Sheet for an Auto-body)

  • An important challenging issue in the automotive industry is the light-weight, safe design and enhancement of crash response of an auto-body structures. These objectives lead to increasing adoption of high strength steel sheet for inner and outer auto-body members. This paper evaluates the dynamic tensile characteristics of high strength steel sheets, HS45R, TRIP60, DP60 and DP100, along the rolling direction and transverse direction. Static tensile tests were carried out at the strain rate of 0.003/sec using the static tensile machine (Instron 5583). Dynamic tensile tests were carried out at the range of strain rate from 0.1/sec to 200/sec using a high speed material testing machine developed. The tensile tests acquire stress-strain relation and strain rate sensitivity of each material. The experimental results show two important aspects for high strength steels: the flow stress increases as strain rate increases; the strain hardening decreases as the tensile stress increases. The experiments also produce interesting results that the elongation does not decrease even when the strain rate increases.

End-Burning 하이브리드 로켓의 스월 강도 변화에 따른 연료 후퇴율에 관한 연구 (A Study on Regression Rate in End-Burning Hybrid rocket with Variation of Swirl Intensity)

  • 본 연구는 End-Burning 하이브리드 로켓 연소에서 연료직경과 인젝터 형상 변화, 인젝터 각도 변화를 통한 스월강도 변화에 따른 연소특성의 변화을 알아보기 위해 수행하였다. 연료직경이 커지면 연료의 연소량이 증가하고, 인젝터 직경이 커질수록 후퇴율이 낮아졌다. 그리고 본 연구의 End-Burning 연소기는 고체연료의 연소율에 미치는 영향이 산화제 유동의 Impinging 효과 보다는 Swirl 효과가 더 큼을 확인했다. 스월상수를 적용한 후퇴율식을 도출하여, 스월상수가 서로 다른 경우들에 대한 후퇴율 관계식을 하나의 식으로 표현할 수 있었다.

저장량과 환기구크기가 움저장 생강의 저장성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Storage Amount and Ventilator Size on the Quality of Ginger During Cellar Storage)

  • An experiment was conducted to develop the simple methods of ginger storage which decrease the weight reduction and maintain good quality of ginger during the cellar storage. The stored boxes with volume of 0.03㎥ and ventilator diameter of 3, 4, 5cm was hurried under the ground(60, 80, 100cm) in the green house. During the cellar storage at the 100cm depth the average temperature and relative humidity in the stored box were remained in 11.7~16.3$^{\circ}C$ and 73%, respect. The higher storage amount and smaller size of ventilator size increased the CO2 concentration in the stored box, and the concentration in the stored box with 50% storage quantity rate and 3cm ventilator diameter size was more than 10% for about 2 months from early Feburary. The decay rate of ginger during the cellar storage increased with higher amount of storage quantity and smaller size of ventilator. The CO2 concentration was low and remained relatively constant with the deeper location of stored box under the ground, and the decay rate was lower in the deeper stored box. Germination rate increased with the deeper location of stored box, and with the lower storage quantity and larger ventilator size. The germination rate was low in the higher decay rate box. Weight loss, total sugar and moisture contents of ginger were decreased, while crude fiber and ash were increased during the storage.

증착 온도 및 수소 유량에 따른 MZO 박막의 구조적 및 전기적 특성 (Structural and Electrical Characteristics of MZO Thin Films Deposited at Different Substrate Temperature and Hydrogen Flow Rate)

  • In this study, we have studied the effect of substrate temperature and hydrogen flow rate on the characteristics of MZO thin films for the TCO(Transparent conducting oxide). MZO thin films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering at room temperature and $100^{\circ}C$ with various $H_2$ flow rate(1sccm~4sccm). In order to investigate the effect of hydrogen gas flow rate on the MZo thin film, we experimented with changing the hydrogen in argon mixing gas flow rate from 1.0sccm to 4.0sccm. MZO thin films deposited at room temperature and $100^{\circ}C$ show crystalline structure having (002), (103) preferential orientation. The electrical resistivity of the MZO films deposited at $100^{\circ}C$ was lower than that of the MZO film deposited at room temperature. The decrease of electrical resistivity with increasing substrate temperature was interpreted in terms of the increase of the charge carrier mobility and carrier concentration which seems to be due to the oxygen vacancy generated by the reducing atmosphere in the gas. The average transmittance of the MZO films deposited at room temperature and $100^{\circ}C$ with various hydrogen gas flow was more than 80%.
