A Study on the Level of Correctness of Decision Making using two Alternative Information Presenting Methods (회계정보의 표현양식이 의사결정자의 예측정확성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the level of correctness accounting information with the two alternative forms of presenting information outputs. Specifically two different methods of presenting accounting information, the table form and the graphical form were employed to test the level of correctness of the accounting information user's decision making. Using college students as a surrogate decision maker, this research have found that there is no statistically significant difference in the correctness of decision making between the two groups, one group using the table form of accounting information and another group using the graphical form of accounting information.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the degree of influence on the elderly’s life adjustment and decision making in the family. For these research tasks the data were collected through interview. the respondents were 296 of man and woman elderly who lived in JeonJu. It was analyzed by various statistical methods such as Frequency, Percentile, ANOVA, correlate, t-test, Multiple Regression Analysis. The finding of this study are as follows; 1) Decision-making of the elderly in family had significant differences I the area of sex, the sum of monthly personal expenses, satisfaction level of personal expenses, subjective economic level and self-esteem in the order named. 2) Elderly life-adjustment had significant differences in the area of the residential district, the present job, the situation of a apouse, religion, education, the sum of the monthly personal expenses, health, satisfaction level of personal expenses, subjective economics level and self-esteem. 3) When we observe relationship with the elderly decision-making in family and life-adjustment, relation decision-making in family and life-adjustment appeared positively. 4) Decision-making of the elderly in family had the significant differences according to the variables such as sex, the sum of monthly personal expenses, and self-esteem in the order named, and the most influential factor among them was sex. 5) Elderly life-adjustment had the significant differences according to the variables such as self-esteem, decision-making, religion, health, the sum of the monthly personal expenses, the residential district in the order named. The most influential factor was self-esteem and the explanary of those variables for the elderly life-adjustment was 55.1%.

Impact of Professional Autonomy and Nursing Work Environment on Clinical Decision Making of Clinical Nurses (임상간호사의 전문직 자율성과 간호업무환경이 임상적 의사결정능력에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to explore professional autonomy, nursing work environment, and clinical decision making ability and to determine predictors of clinical decision making ability among clinical nurses. Methods: A cross-sectional design was used in this study and 263 clinical nurses were selected from advanced-level hospitals with over 500 beds located in D metropolitan city. Independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients and hierarchical multiple regression analyses were done with the SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. Results: Clinical nurses reported moderate levels of professional autonomy, nursing work environment and clinical decision making ability. Marital status, professional autonomy and nursing work environment accounted for 25% of variance in clinical decision making ability required in various clinical settings. Importantly, being married, higher level of professional autonomy, and greater satisfaction with work environment were significantly associated with better decision making ability. Conclusion: Findings indicate that improving the quality of decision making in the healthcare settings requires awareness of the multiple effects of individual, occupational and environmental features. Nurses' ability to make effective clinical decisions may rely on personal characteristics, the degree of autonomy in their job, and nurses' satisfaction with their work environment.

Effect of Occupational Value and Social Support on College Students' Career Decision Status (대학생의 직업가치, 사회적 지지가 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose : This study examined the effects of college students' occupational value and social support on their career decision status. Methods : This research was conducted between May 6 and May 30 in 2023 with 228 college students from city B in South Korea as the study participants. The frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation of the collected data were analyzed, while t-test, ANOVA test, Scheffe's test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and a multivariate regression analysis were conducted using the SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results : The analysis revealed that the research subjects had an average occupational value of 3.58±.44, social support of 4.18±.56, and a career decision status of 2.82±.59. Notably, a significant difference in the career decision status of the students was observed with regard to their fields of major (F=2.36, p=.019), However, no other variable demonstrated a significant difference. The confidence level pertaining to career decision-making was found to be positively correlated with the pursuit of status and self-direction (r=.25, p<.001), pursuit of creativity (r=.16, p=.017), pursuit of relationship (r=.35, p<.001), pursuit of diversity and change (r=.16, p=17), pursuit of interest (r=.19, p=.003), pursuit of compensation (r=.29, p<.001), pursuit of professionalism (r=.46, p<.001), material support (r=.25, p<.001), appraisal support (r=.35, p<.001), informational support (r=.32, p<.001), and emotional support (r=.29, p<.001). Moreover, the indecision level related to career decision-making demonstrated a positive correlation with the pursuit of excellence (r=.17, p=.010). The factors that affected the confidence level of career decision-making included appraisal support (β=.29, p<.001) and pursuit of compensation (β=.19, p=.003), whose collective explanatory power was 15 %. It was further observed that appraisal support (β=-.27, p<.001), pursuit of professionalism (β=-.16 p=.017), pursuit of excellence (β=.17, p=.005), and the field of major (β=-.16, p=.012) largely influenced the indecision level related to career decision-making, together bearing an explanatory power of 17 %. Conclusion : The results of this study have important implications for enhancing college students' career decision status. Moreover, further research investigating the diverse variables that affect students' career decision status is necessary, along with effective endeavors to improve education and develop programs that positively affect college students' career decision status.

  • Conflict resolution in decision-making groups is studied using a System Dynamics model. The model is developed using a grounded-theory approach. Some preliminary results are shown. The results seem to be in line with much empirical research done in the management literature about conflict and conflict resolution at the group level of analysis. Ideas for further research are discussed.

  • The goal of this study was to examine the effects of perceived risks toward GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) food on the decision-making to purchase it and demands to reveal its Identity. The major results were as follows. First, consumers strongly perceived the risk toward GMO food, and demanded labeling to identify it. But, many consumers had indecisive in the purchase of GMO food. Second, consumers with high level of perceived risks toward GMO food were more likely not to buy GMO food. In addition, the level of perceived risk was high among consumers who had many children. Finally, consumers with high level of perceived risks toward GMO food were more likely to demand the labelling for identifying GMO food. Consumers who had many children and high level of reliability for labelling food safety strongly demanded to label for revealing GMO food.

  • In this paper, we propose stable walking algorithm using ZMP for the biped robot in the slope-way. At first, we define discrete state variables that classified stable area and unstable area by center of mass from ZMP during slope-way walking. For the stable walking gait, the discrete state controller for determining the high-level and low-level decision making are designed. The high-level decision making is composed of the discrete state variables; left foot support phase, right foot support phase, flat-way, and slope-way. Then the continuous state controller is implemented for the low-level decision making using ZMP.

The Role of CSR Proximity and Psychological Distance as a Marketing Strategy

  • Purpose - This study aims to find ways to have CSR efforts lead to a purchase decision. For this purpose, this research examines the influence of the perceived CSR proximity on the purchase intention and studies the moderating role of psychological distance. Research design, data, and methodology - A total of 185 undergraduate students from a university in Korea were recruited and were randomly assigned to the conditions of a 2 (CSR proximity: close vs. far) × 2 (temporal distance: near vs. distant) × 2 (information type: concrete vs. abstract) between-subjects design. ANOVA was conducted to test the hypotheses. Results - When consumers construe a purchase decision at a high level via the far psychological distance, a firm's CSR efforts are considered important for the purchase decision. Conversely, when consumers construe a purchase decision at a low level via the near psychological distance, a firm's CSR efforts are not considered for the purchase decision. Conclusions - This research demonstrates that people have a greater intention to purchase products from a firm whose CSR proximity is perceived as being close rather than far. Furthermore, this study shows that the psychological distance moderates the effect of CSR proximity on the purchase intention.

  • The content of this paper is concerned with the pricing decision model when the new telecommunication service enter into market. The pricing decision model of firm level is based on the problems of the previous service pricing model that are abstracted from the literature survey. We suggest a new pricing model and prove the model's fitness using the way of empirical simulation study. We empirically apply the proposed model to obtain the price level of such a new service as the convergence service between mobile communication service and broadcasting service. finally, we prove that the proposed model is successful because we get the new . service price based on the pricing decision model suggested in this paper.

  • Aggregate planning coordinate the control variable over long-term to apply a demand variable and forcasting. In order to necessary the goal that doesn't make an inter-contradiction and explicitly defined. We made a considerable point of system approach for scheduling establishment. It include the control variables of aggregate planning : 1) employment 2) over time working and idle time 3) inventory 4) delivery delay S) subcontract 61 long - term facility capacity. Each variables composed of pure strategy as like a decision of inventory level, a change of employment level, etc. md alternative costs make a computation on the economic foundation. But the optimum alternative costs represent the mixed pure strategy. The faults of this method doesn't optimum guarantee a special scheduling as well as increasing a number of alternative combination. Theoretical, Linear Decision Rule make an including all variables, but it is almost impossible for this model to develope actually And also make use of the aggregate planning problem for developing system approach : LDR, heuristic model, Search Decision Rule, all kind of computers, simulation. But these models are very complex, each variables get an extremely inter-dependence. So this study be remained by theory level, some approach methods has not been brought the optimum solution to apply in every cases.
