  • 본 논문은 토너먼트 선택을 사용한 Deceptive Problem에서 최적 해(optimum)를 찾으면서 수렴(Convergence)속도를 향상시키기 위한 최적의 조건을 찾고자 한다. 이를 위해 적합도가 높은 염색체(cromosome)를 다음 세대로 전달하면서 동시에 적합도가 낮은 염색체에 대해서도 적정 수준 전달되게 하였다. 또한 기존의 여러 선택기법 중 가장 일반적으로 사용되는 토너먼트 선택 기법의 문제점을 고찰하고, 제안 방법으로 최적도 및 수렴속도를 모의 실험을 통해 비교 및 분석한다. 실험 결과로부터 제안 방법에 대한 수렴속도의 경향을 고찰하였다.

  • This paper introduces a selection operator which utilized similarity and fitness of individuals based on fuzzy inference. Adding similarity feature to fitness, proposed selector obtained the decrease of premature convergence and better performances than other selectors. Moreover, an adoption of steady-state evolution provided enhancement of performances additionally. Experiments of proposed method for deceptive problems were tested and showed better performances than conventional methods.

Analysis of Actual Condition of Counterfeits and Anti-Counterfeiting Strategies of Korean Fashion Firms (국내 패션기업의 위조상품 관리실태 및 대응전략분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze anti-counterfeiting strategies of fashion firms in Korea. Data was collected by in-depth interviews for 25 fashion firms and 5 buying offices who had been victims of counterfeiting. The result showed that fashion firms recognized the counterfeiting, especially deceptive counterfeiting, as a serious problem in Korea and seek for stronger protection. Fashion firms adopted diverse strategies for the protection of trademark and for the protection of design; (1) Investigation and Surveillance, (2) Warning, (3) Prosecution, (4) Lawsuit, (5) Consumer education (6) High-tech tabooing, (7) Provide incentives, (8) Penalty, (9) Do nothing. Despite the diverse efforts, they proposed the most desirable strategies to deter the counterfeiting as the changes of consumer attitude and stronger legal protection.

Sentiment Analysis of Product Reviews to Identify Deceptive Rating Information in Social Media: A SentiDeceptive Approach

  • [Introduction] Nowadays, many companies are shifting their businesses online due to the growing trend among customers to buy and shop online, as people prefer online purchasing products. [Problem] Users share a vast amount of information about products, making it difficult and challenging for the end-users to make certain decisions. [Motivation] Therefore, we need a mechanism to automatically analyze end-user opinions, thoughts, or feelings in the social media platform about the products that might be useful for the customers to make or change their decisions about buying or purchasing specific products. [Proposed Solution] For this purpose, we proposed an automated SentiDecpective approach, which classifies end-user reviews into negative, positive, and neutral sentiments and identifies deceptive crowd-users rating information in the social media platform to help the user in decision-making. [Methodology] For this purpose, we first collected 11781 end-users comments from the Amazon store and Flipkart web application covering distant products, such as watches, mobile, shoes, clothes, and perfumes. Next, we develop a coding guideline used as a base for the comments annotation process. We then applied the content analysis approach and existing VADER library to annotate the end-user comments in the data set with the identified codes, which results in a labelled data set used as an input to the machine learning classifiers. Finally, we applied the sentiment analysis approach to identify the end-users opinions and overcome the deceptive rating information in the social media platforms by first preprocessing the input data to remove the irrelevant (stop words, special characters, etc.) data from the dataset, employing two standard resampling approaches to balance the data set, i-e, oversampling, and under-sampling, extract different features (TF-IDF and BOW) from the textual data in the data set and then train & test the machine learning algorithms by applying a standard cross-validation approach (KFold and Shuffle Split). [Results/Outcomes] Furthermore, to support our research study, we developed an automated tool that automatically analyzes each customer feedback and displays the collective sentiments of customers about a specific product with the help of a graph, which helps customers to make certain decisions. In a nutshell, our proposed sentiments approach produces good results when identifying the customer sentiments from the online user feedbacks, i-e, obtained an average 94.01% precision, 93.69% recall, and 93.81% F-measure value for classifying positive sentiments.

  • 본 논문은 퍼지추론을 통해 개체의 유사성과 적합도의 종합적 평가를 이용한 유전알고리즘의 선태연산자를 제안한다. 단일 집단을 가상적으로 임의의 n 개의 개체군을 나누고, 개체의 적합도와 유사도에 기반한 퍼지추론을 통해, 효율적인 계층화를 구성하고자 한다. 동시에 점진형(steady-state) 진화방식과 결합시켜 계층화된 군집내에서 개체들이 조기에 수렴하는 현상을 방지해 줄 수 있도록 하고, 적은 개체를 이용하여 효율적인 진화가 가능하도록 구현하였다. 2가지 기만적 문제에 대해서 다른 선태 연산자들의 결과와 비교하였으며, 만족할만한 성능을 얻었다.

  • The Program from modern architecture is an indispensable condition which must put in all buildings today and it is a relationship setting of a various functions. According to changing society consequently, a complicated form and program in modem appear again. Through this background from, we intend to observe the meaning which the program is having in the construction in this manuscript. Sejima is the architecture who try to use variously special formation of the program. Specially, we are planning to research the quality which his program is haying form Sejima's architecture and how it is reflected ill this construction. Resultantly, each program which appears from Sejima's architecture makes a gap space and irregular arrangement. The characters of the space which is put each through the gap don't have a deceptive plan each other and they are compounded. Also, each character to have their territories is intersected and putting out of the various features in the program coat. First, form of the maze plane, Intersecting each territory. Second, forming the territory as fitting their act oneself in the space where can be existing. Third, having more interest in the event that happens inside than existence problem of thing.

A Study on the Reduction of Consumer Problems Caused by the Side-effect of Functional Health Foods (건강관련식품 부작용피해 방지를 위한 개선방안)

  • The purpose of this study is to reduce the side effect of functional health foods. The research is done by in-depth interview method. The nineteen officials who worked in local administration or KFDA(Korea Food & Drug Administration) were interviewed. The questions were asked regarding the current status of consumer reports related to functional health foods, the problems which officials perceived, and the regulations required to reduce the problems. The findings are as follows: 1) the consumers report the side effect of functional health foods to nongovernmental organization. 2) officials feel that the problems are the difficulty in finding the cause of the side effect, unjust sale tactics, deceptive and small-sized manufacturers. and the distorted consumer conception on functional health foods. 3) officials think that improvement on the regulations are required to reduce the problems caused by the side effects. It includes the indication of the ingredient's origin and warnings considering physical conditions, close cowork between administration and nongovernmental organization. introduction of sales license for functional health foods and the increase of the opportunity for consumers to get information and education on functional health foods.

  • After COVID-19, the percentage of digital consumption has soared. Meanwhile, as the online platform market grows in size and digital commerce is activated, controversy over the "dark pattern" that induces consumers to do unintended things online continues. Dark patterns are deceptive design patterns that cause consumer rights and financial damage and can result in damaging fair market competition. As a result, the need to regulate dark patterns is raised not only by overseas regulators but also in Korea, and there are growing calls for strengthening consumer protection against dark patterns, with amendments to related laws being proposed by the National Assembly. On the other hand, there is no agreed definition of dark pattern from a normative point of view, and there is a concern that even legitimate advertising marketing activities of companies may be regulated, so a review of dark pattern regulatory measures is required. In this study, dark patterns were reviewed from a normative point of view and appropriate regulatory measures were analyzed. In particular, the problem of the dark pattern can be applied in a way that the market regulates and controls itself in consideration of the characteristics of the online platform. This study reviewed the possibility of self-regulation for dart patterns and proposed the role of each subject.

The temptation of the slippery slope argument: A research of its nature (미끄러운 경사길 논증의 유혹: 그 실체의 탐구)

  • The slippery slope argument means that if we accept a type of action A, we are committed to accepting B, C and eventually N. Then, N is situation which we must not accept morally. It works causal mechnism that B because A is raised, C because B is raised. But in the logic textbooks and treatises, the slippery slope argument is classified as fallacy. The reason is that the argument is not a causal argument. Actually, it is a probable. Also it is argued that the argument is wrong because it fears about the future extremely. But We can not say all slippery slope argument is fallacy even though a slippery slope argument is sometimes fallacy. I think it is persuasive argument in a significant place. Therefore I argue that the argument is not simple logic as a form of thinking, but practical reasoning applied the context of dialogue. So in order to find it to be practical reasoning we demand the new understanding to fallacy theory. In traditionally, fallacy is defined to wrong reasoning logically, but according to Walton, fallacy means a verbal tactic or deceptive trick that can be used to cause someone to fall down in argument. That is to say, whether or not the argument is successful depends on how it uses as argument tactic in a given context of dialogue. Therefore I argue that whether or not the argument is successful, because of it is practical problem used in a context of dialogue, is to be approached to pragma and dialectical method, not semantic.
