To monitor and predict the change of coastal environment according to the construction of Saemangeum sea dyke and the development of land reclamation, we have done real-time and periodic ocean observation and numerical simulation since 2002. Saemangeum coastal environmental data can be largely classified to marine meteorology, ocean physics and circulation, water quality, marine geology and marine ecosystem and each part of data has been generated continuously and accumulated over about 10 years. The collected coastal environmental data are huge amounts of heterogeneous dataset and have some characteristics of multi-dimension, multivariate and spatio-temporal distribution. Thus the implementation of information system possible to data collection, processing, management and service is necessary. In this study, through the implementation of Saemangeum coastal environmental information system using geographic information system, it enables the integral data collection and management and the data querying and analysis of enormous and high-complexity data through the design of intuitive and effective web user interface and scientific data visualization using statistical graphs and thematic cartography. Furthermore, through the quantitative analysis of trend changed over long-term by the geo-spatial analysis with geo- processing, it's being used as a tool for provide a scientific basis for sustainable development and decision support in Saemangeum coast. Moreover, for the effective web-based information service, multi-level map cache, multi-layer architecture and geospatial database were implemented together.

The study aims to analyze factors of box office utilizing big data. The film industry has been increasing in the scale, but the discussion on analysis and prediction of box-office hit has not secured reliability because of failing in including all relevant data. 13 films have sold 10 million tickets until the present in Korea. The study demonstrated laughs and tears as an main interior factors of box-office hit films which showed more than 10 milling tickets power. First, the study collected terms relevant to laugh and tear. Next, it schematizes how frequently laugh and tear factors could be found along the 5-film-stage (exposition - Rising action - crisis - climax - ending) and revealed box-office hit films by genre. The results of the analysis would contribute to the construction of comprehensive database for the box office predictions on future scenarios.

The purpose of this study is to develope BIM Template according to major building material for efficiently and quantitatively evaluating greenhouse gas emission at the design stage. Template users consider various environmental impacts without connecting simulation tools for analyzing environmental impact and Template users who have no prior knowledge can Life Cycle Assessment by using The green template. For this study, Database which was reflected in template was constructed considering environmental performance. and 6 kinds of environmental impact categories and PPS standard construction codes were analyzed by major building material derived from literature. Based on this analyzed data, The major Material Family according to the main building material was developed. When users conduct modeling by utilizing Family established, evaluating result can be confirmed in the Revit BIM Modeling program by using the schedule function of the Revit. Users through the modeling, the decision-making environment performance possible. In addition, we propose to create a guideline for the steps required to build an additional established family.
The purpose of this study was to survey vegetation characteristics of Jeopdo (island) for the construction of a database. We installed and analyzed 52 plots with 100㎡ quadrat to investigate the vegetation characteristics. The community classification based on TWINSPAN found seven categories of vegetation communities in the surveyed region: Pinus thunbergii-Pinus densiflora community, Pinus densiflora-Quercus serrata community, Carpinus turczaninowii-Quercus variabilis community, Carpinus turczaninowii-Quercus acutissima community, Quercus variabilis-Carpinus turczaninowii community, Castanopsis sieboldii community, and Actinodaphne lancifolia-Camellia japonica community. The vegetation in Jeopdo is largely composed of evergreen conifer trees community (communities I and II), Carpinus turczaninowii-deciduous broad-leaved trees such as Quercus spp. community (communities III, IV, and V), and evergreen broad-leaved trees community (communities VI and VII). The evergreen conifer tree (Quercus serrata) community is currently competing with Pinus densiflora and Pinus thunbergii. The current state is expected to continue due to the lack of forces, such as Castanopsis sieboldii and Actinodaphne lancifolia, in the succession middle stage and climax stage. The current state of Carpinus turczaninowii-deciduous broad-leaved trees such as Quercus spp. community is expected to last for a long time due to slow vegetation development because of soil conditions. The evergreen broad-leaved trees community is transforming from the initial stage of Pinus densiflora and Pinus thunbergii through the stage in Quercus serrata to Castanopsis sieboldii and Actinodaphne lancifolia. The overall ages of the specimens were similar, and the oldest tree was the 59-year old Castanopsis sieboldii. The correlation analysis of major species showed a high positive correlation between Pinus thunbergii and Eurya japonica, Pinus densiflora and Fraxinus sieboldiana, and Actinodaphne lancifolia and Camellia japonica and a high negative correlation between Pinus densiflora and Carpinus turczaninowii and Carpinus turczaninowii and Eurya japonica.

This study aims to assess the slope stability variation of Jeonbuk drainage areas by RCM model outputs based on A1B climate change scenario and infinite slope stability model based on the previous research by Choi et al.(2013). For a large-scale slope stability analysis, we developed a GIS-based database regarding topographic, geologic and forestry parameters and also calculated daily maximum rainfall for the study period(1971~2100). Then, we assess slope stability variation of the 20 sub-catchments of Jeonbuk under the climate change scenario. The results show that the areal-average value of safety factor was estimated at 1.36(moderately stable) in spite of annual rainfall increase in the future. In addition, 7 sub-catchments became worse and 5 sub-catchments became better than the present period(1971~2000) in terms of safety factor in the future.

The rapid increase of the current marine accidents is mainly due to the human execution errors. In an effort to address this, various kinds of researches such as construction of the digital vessels and vessel information monitoring systems have been conducted. But for safe navigation of vessels, it lack on systems study which can efficiently store, utilize and manage the mass data accepted by the vessel. In this paper, we propose a VWS(Virtual World System) that is based on the architecture of intelligent systems RVC(Reactive Layer-Virtual World-Considerative Layer) model of intelligent autonomous navigation system. VWS is responsible to store all the necessary information for safe navigation of the vessel and the information services to the sub-system of intelligent autonomous navigation system. VWS uses topology database to express the specific problem area, and utilizes a scheduling to reflect the characteristics of the real-time processing environment. Also, Virtual World defines API for the system to reflect the characteristics of the distributed processing environment. As a case study, the VWS is applied to a intelligent ship autonomous navigation system, and simulation is done to prove the effectiveness of the proposed system.
Microsatellite is one of the most suitable marker for cultivar identification as it has great discrimination power for cultivars with narrow genetic variation. The polymorphism level between 358 microsatellite primer pairs and 11 commercial cucumber cultivars was investigated. Thirty-one primer pairs showed high polymorphism within cucumber cultivars with different fruit types. These markers were applied for the constructing DNA profile data base of 110 commercial cucumber cultivars through multiplex PCR and fluorescence based automatic detection system. A total of 139 polymorphic amplified fragments were obtained by using 31 microsatellite markers. The average of PIC value was 0.610 ranging from 0.253 to 0.873. One hundred and thirty nine microsatellite loci were used to calculate Jaccard's distance coefficients for UPGMA cluster analysis. A clustering group of varieties, based on the results of microsatellite analysis, were categorized into plant shape and fruit type. Almost the cultivars were discriminated by marker genotypes. This information may be useful to compare through genetic relationship analysis between existing variety and candidate varieties in distinctive tests and protection of plant breeders' intellectual property rights through variety identification.

In up-to-date information anger time it is caused by with business of traffic accident control and analysis and two time it accomplishes a business. National Police Office which controls a traffic accident does not execute an up-to-date technique. And, it is working yet by the hand, There is to traffic accident analysis and the research regarding the analysis against the research which it follows in geography element and composition element and an accident cause is weak. Consequently, effectively establishment and it enforces a traffic safety policy and from the hazard which it evaluates traffic accident data the system and scientific analysis against a traffic accident occurrence cause and a feature in basic must become accomplished. The research which it sees constructs a traffic accident data in GIS base. It is like that, it uses the PDA where is not the collection of data of text form in existing and at real-time it converts store and an accident data rightly in standard traffic accident data form and it will be able to manage. It was related with a space data peculiarity and the research regarding the system development with the geography analysis data about an accident cause under manifesting it accomplished.

In this study, compaction evaluating program based on ASTM critria is developed bu analyzing the results of laboratory tests. And the laboratory tests such as compaction test, triaxial test and resonance column test of subgrade soils are performed to develop compaction management methodology at seven test sites. Especially, to figure out chararteristic with changing compactive efforts, the test was carried out at five levels of compactive efforts at each soil sample. Database was set up from the test results. With the methodology using mechanical property - the elastic modulus, the gap between road design and management and road construction management is narrowed. The regression equation of G/$G_{max}$ is proposed at each strain level of subgrade soils according to AASHTO criteria, and the relationship between fundamental properties of soil mass and degree of compaction is derived as well. The development of compaction management and field compaction management method is proposed by the elastic modulus based on mechanical tests.
Two aims of the present study were the evaluation of hygienic, microbial safety on food services of elementary schools in Western Gyeongnam province, and then, the construction of database for the SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operation Procedures) practice. A total of 98 samples were collected from drinking water, waterworks, kitchen utensils, kitchen equipments, employees and cooked foods. Total bacteria was counted and pathogenic bacteria such E. coli, salmonella, yersinia, vibrio parahaemolyticus and staphylococcus were identified based on the biochemical analysis. Following are the results: the number of bacteria showed from 1.0x10$^2$CFU/ mL to 1.0x10$^{6}$ CFU/mL in most samples, which the level exceeds normal range. Over 1.0x10$^{5}$ CFU/ml bacteria were observed from the kimchi in 4 places (B, C, D, E), because cooked food such as kimchi had not been heated. As a rule, the bacterium level in place B was higher than that in any of the other places. E-coli were isolated from kitchen knives (C, E) and Kimchi (E): staphylococci were isolated from drinking water (A), hands (D), refrigerator (E) and apron (E). But, salmonella, vibrio and yersinia were not detected in anywhere. In conclusion, the presence of bacteria and pathogenic agents in school food service was closely related to hygienic practice. For that reason, it is necessary to have more systematic and efficient management in order to enhance the food safety.
