In this paper, a smart travel service platform is proposed with PPL(Product Placement) database based on the location of TV viewer who is 's marking by smart devices. This platform is designed with the active PUSH and smart kiosk signage with video clip of LTE/beacon's places. As a result, this PPL-DB platform is inter-worked for the PPL database of category, location, product, favor with interactive tagging in pictures and videos.

The importance of XML data and their database supports in a mobile terminal system is on the increase. It leads to active research for embedded XML database systems. In order to handle in documents, DOM API should be supported. The existing DOM API is not suitable for the embedded system with limited resource because the DOM tree requires a large space on main memory. Considering poor resource of embedded systems, we present persistent DOM which is implemented on Berkeley DB and DOMdbm which manages it.

The integrated data is an essential in the analysis for the balanced development of the local governments, but economic, social and cultural data in local governments is not being made with integrated management. A variety of information is being published according to the Government 3.0 era, but the researchers has great difficulty in integrating the analysis for one topic because related information is scattered in various sites. This paper proposes an integrated database(DB) of local governments to support the research activities. It has to contains total information of economic, social and cultural activities of local governments, and accommodate the distributed and heterogeneous data. It has the schema designed to integrate the entire data for considering the differences between local governments or data components. We should focus to build a framework for the multifaceted research to enable the cross analysis over common elements.

한국데이터베이스진흥센터는‘지식정보자원관리사업’을 통해 구축된 지식정보 DB의 품질을 점검해 보기 위해, 2005년도 1월부 터 매월 1종의 DB를 선정해 품질을 평가하고, 그 결과를‘DB 서비스 평가’기획 시리즈로 연재하고 있다. 이번 달에는 그 두 번째로 문화재청에서 운영하고 있는「국가문화유산종합정보서비스(www.heritage.go.kr)」를 대상으로 평가를 실시했다.

국내 산업 경기가 고전을 면치 못하고 하향세를 지속하고 있는 가운데서도 데이터베이스 산업은 3분기에 도호전세를 이어갈 전망이다. 한국데이터베이스진흥센터는 지난 6월5일부터 6월 28일까지 데이터베이스산업체 305개 및 데이터베이스정보서비스이용자 220명을 대상으로‘ 데이터베이스산업기업경기실사지수(DB-BSI) 및 이용환경지수(DB-CSI)’를 조사했다. 이번 조사 결과를 토대로 국내 데이터베이스 산업의 2006년 2~3분기 현황을 짚어봤다.

2분기 DB산업 기업경기가 완만한 회복세를 보일 것으로 전망됐다. 한국데이터베이스진흥센터(KDPC)가 최근 발표한 2분기 DB산 업 기업경기(BSI) 조사결과에 따르면 DB BSI 실적은 지난해 3분기를 최저점으로 확연히 상승세(2003년 3분기 39 → 2003년 4 분기 46 → 2004년 1분기 80)로 돌아섰으며, 2분기 전망 또한 1분기에 이어 평년수준(100)를 넘어설(119) 것으로 전망했다.

본 연구에서는 실세계 DB에 현실적으로 적용할 수 있는 DB품질평가항목을 개발하고자 한다. ISO 9126에 근거하여 DB품질평가 항목을 도출하고 소프트웨어의 프로세스를 심사하고 이에 기반하여 프로세스를 개선할 수 있도록 하는 CMM모형을 적용하고자 한다. DB 품질평가 항목의 개발은 기존 관련문헌 검토 및 유사분야에서 개발된 평가 모델을 분석하고, ISO 9126에 근거하여 DB품질평가 항목을 새롭게 도출하여 CMM모델을 적용한 데이터베이스 품질 프로세스 성숙도 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

화학구조 D B는 그 목적에 다양하게 분류될 수 있는데, 유사한 약효를 검색하기 위한 유사도 검색(similarity search) DB와 유기합성을 위한 reaction DB, 실험이나 계산으로 얻은 물성을 모은 property DB, 생물학적 검증 데이터를 모은 activity DB등이 있다. 이러한 화학 D B는 신약을 설계하는 입장에서 볼 때, 앞에서 말한 다양한 D B로서의 목적을 모두 충족시킬 수 있는 유기적인 설계가 바람직하다.
