Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of group sensory integrative intervention on the sensory integration dysfunction children's social interaction with peer and therapist Methods : The subjects were three children aged between 3 and 5 with sensory integration disorder. Each Child participated in 15 sessions of group sensory integrative intervention. The based on the observation list of the children's social interaction behavior, the children's interactions with the peers and therapist are measured. One group pretest-posttest design was used to verify the effect of group sensory integrative intervention. The difference between before and after the sensory integration group program in the observation list of the children's social interaction behavior were tested by the Wilcoxon matched-pair signed rank test. Results : The average scores of the observation list of the children's social interaction behavior was increased after the group sensory integrative intervention. However, there is no significant difference in the social interactions between data of pre-intervention and the one of post-intervention. Conclusion : The results suggest a possibility of that the group sensory integrative intervention may affect social interactions. Future research should supplement limitations of this study regarding the short period of the experiment and there must be several evaluation standard to show norm data.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to find out whether group approach of sensory integration (SI) enhances sensory processing, fine motor function, and social skill for the children with sensory integration disorders. Method : Three children with problems related in sensory integration had got received 21 intervention sessions. We evaluated children with sensory profile(SP), social maturity test, Korean-developmental test of visual perception(K-DTVP), Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency(BOTMP) before-and after intervention. The statistical significance of data is tested by the Wilcoxon matched-pair signed rank test. Results : All data of post-intervention did not show any statistically significant differences; SP, social maturity test, K-DTVP, BOTMP. Conclusions : This study is to verify the effect of group SI intervention on sensory processing, fine motor function, and social skill for children with sensory integration disabilities. The results were not statistically significant. However, the average score after SI intervention has been improved in the section of fine motor and social skill comparing to that of pre-intervention period. It would have positive impact for children with sensory integration disabilities. It is needed to study with the larger number of target children and more often treatment session are suggested. The confounding variables also should be controlled in the further study.

An intelligent system embedded with multiple sources of knowledge may provide more robust intelligence with highly ill structured problems than the system with a single source of knowledge. This paper proposes the hybrid knowledge integration mechanism that yields the cooperated knowledge by integrating expert, user, and machine knowledge within the fuzzy logic-driven framework, and then refines it with a genetic algorithm (GA) to enhance the reasoning performance. The proposed knowledge integration mechanism is applied for the prediction of Korea stock price index (KOSPI). Empirical results show that the proposed mechanism can make an intelligent system with the more adaptable and robust intelligence.

Electric Power Steering (EPS) mechanism has become widely equipped in passenger vehicle due to the increasing environmental concerns and higher fuel efficiency. This paper describes the development of concurrent simulation technique and simulation integration technique of EPS control system with a dynamic vehicle system. A full vehicle model interacting with EPS control algorithm was concurrently simulated on a single bump road condition. The dynamic responses of vehicle chassis and steering system resulting from road surface impact were evaluated and compared with proving ground experimental data. The comparisons show reasonable agreement on tie-rod load, rack displacement, steering wheel torque and tire center acceleration. This concurrent simulation capability was employed fur EPS performance evaluation and calibration as well as for vehicle handling performance integration and synthesis.

The importance and cost of avionics system in the integration of an aircraft is continuously increasing. And we can expect enlarged software portion in the system integration for the more intelligent, reliable, and automated avionics system. Both military and commercial avionics community have moved toward commercial-off-the-shelf(COTS) equipment and open systems architecture not only to increase affordability but also to reduce acquisition cost, shorten development time and risk. The same concept is applied in developing avionics test system used for the avionics system integration test. In this paper, we present important topics in the development of avionics system including real-time operating system, interconnect data bus, software development methodology, software development process, and system integration test.

As a community of practice (CoP) is known to facilitate team learning, it is increasingly important to understand the mechanisms of CoP, thereby enabling organizations to fully utilize it and optimize its benefits. To explain how CoP improves organizational performance, we focus on its effects on social capital and knowledge management activities, and propose a research model suggesting that shared goals and trust in CoP improve its performance through knowledge integration. Our analysis uses structural equation modeling, with field data collected from 372 members of 46 CoPs in three companies; the analysis validates our research model. Our findings also suggest that CoP diversity can strengthen the link between knowledge integration and CoP performance.

This study explores a model of partnership to the success of outsourcing CTI(computer telephony integration) based customer service centers of a telecommunication service company. The motivation of the study is to extend the research on IT outsourcing to IT-enabled BPO of customer service centers as a specific IT outsourcing practice. Previous research on IT outsourcing partnership and success is reviewed for developing an a research model of IT-enabled BPO. This model is proposed based on the previous partnership success models in information systems research. The results of the study confirm major factors related to successful IT-enabled BPO in previous research. Especially, the specificity of a contract and strategic collaboration in partnership are found to be influential on the success of IT-enabled BPO.

Transient and asymmetric density distributions have been investigated by three-dimensional digital speckle tomography with a novel integration method. Multiple CCD images captured movements of speckles in three angles of view simultaneously because the flows were asymmetric and unsteady. The speckle movements which have been formed by a ground glass between no flow and downward butane flow from a circular half opening have been calculated by a cross-correlation tracking method so that those distances can be transferred to deflection angles of laser rays for density gradients. A novel integration method has been developed to obtain projection data from the deflection angles for the speckle tomography.'The three-dimensional density fields have been reconstructed from the accurate projection values by a real-time multiplicative algebraic reconstruction technique (MART) with the developed integration method.

The objective of this study is to implement geological functions on the Internet such as the visualization, search and analysis of geological data. To improve their performance and reduce the cost during development, special concerns should be given to the dynamic integration and interoperability of them. XML Web Service technologies can be adopted and OpenGIS specifications should be considered for the integration of distributed GIS components and their interoperability. Because standard Internet protocols and XML Messages are used in the Web Service, it makes the integration among different hardware and software systems possible. OpenGIS specifications also enable users to get benefits from geographic information and services across any network, platform and application. A prototype of efficient Internet GIS applications has been suggested in this study.

This study investigates extensively the integration of various segments of financial markets (i.e. money market, lending and deposit market, exchange rate market, and capital market) both domestically and internationally. Cointegration approach is employed in the study to find out long term relationship among the variables. Data are on a monthly interval for the period spreads over 2001 to 2010. The results show no evidence of cointegration between money market and exchange rate market and between capital market and exchange rate market of Pakistan. On the other hand, international financial markets integration is also investigated and the findings revealed that domestic money market rates of Pakistan and USA are not cointegrated. Whereas, an evidence of cointegration between capital markets of Pakistan and USA is found in this study.
