Process and manufacturing data are numerously accumulated to the enterprise database in industries but little of those data are utilized. Data mining can support a decision to manager in process from the data. However, it is not easy to field managers because a proper adoption of various schemes is very difficult. In this paper, six scenarios are conducted using data mining schemes for the various situations of field claims such as yield problem, trend analysis and prediction of yield according to changes of operating conditions, etc. Scenarios, like templates, of various analysis situations are helpful to users.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on sports entertainment programs by collecting data on unstructured data generated by Naver and Google for SBS entertainment program 'Women Who Score Goal', which began regular broadcast in June 2021, and analyzing public perceptions through data mining, semantic matrix, and CONCOR analysis. Data collection was conducted using Textom, and 27,911 cases of data accumulated for 16 months from June 16, 2021 to October 15, 2022. For the collected data, 80 key keywords related to 'Kick a Goal' were derived through simple frequency and TF-IDF analysis through data mining. Semantic network analysis was conducted to analyze the relationship between the top 80 keywords analyzed through this process. The centrality was derived through the UCINET 6.0 program using NetDraw of UCINET 6.0, understanding the characteristics of the network, and visualizing the connection relationship between keywords to express it clearly. CONCOR analysis was conducted to derive a cluster of words with similar characteristics based on the semantic network. As a result of the analysis, it was analyzed as a 'program' cluster related to the broadcast content of 'Kick a Goal' and a 'Soccer' cluster, a sports event of 'Kick a Goal'. In addition to the scenes about the game of the cast, it was analyzed as an 'Everyday Life' cluster about training and daily life, and a cluster about 'Broadcast Manipulation' that disappointed viewers with manipulation of the game content.

The purpose of this case study is to demonstrate database-marketing management. First, we explore original variables for insurance customer's data, modify them if necessary, and go through variable selection process before analysis. Then, we develop churn prediction models using logistic regression, neural network and SVM analysis. We also compare these three data mining models in terms of misclassification rate.
Data mining techniques have been suggested to find efficiently meaningful and useful information. Especially, in the big data environments, as data becomes accumulated in several applications, related pattern mining methods have been proposed. Recently, instead of analyzing not only static data stored already in files or databases, mining dynamic data incrementally generated in a real time is considered as more interesting research areas because these dynamic data can be only one time read. With this reason, researches of how these dynamic data are mined efficiently have been studied. Moreover, approaches of mining representative patterns such as maximal pattern mining have been proposed since a huge number of result patterns as mining results are generated. As another issue, to discover more meaningful patterns in real world, weights of items in weighted pattern mining have been used, In real situation, profits, costs, and so on of items can be utilized as weights. In this paper, we analyzed weighted maximal pattern mining approaches for data generated incrementally. Maximal representative pattern mining techniques, and incremental pattern mining methods. And then, the application scenarios for analyzing the required commodity patterns in infants are presented by applying weighting representative pattern mining. Furthermore, the performance of state-of-the-art algorithms have been evaluated. As a result, we show that incremental weighted maximal pattern mining technique has better performance than incremental weighted pattern mining and weighted maximal pattern mining.

Text-mining technique in the past had difficulty in realizing the analysis algorithm due to text complexity and degree of freedom that variables in the text have. Although the algorithm demanded lots of effort to get meaningful result, mechanical text analysis took more time than human text analysis. However, along with the development of hardware and analysis algorithm, big data technology has appeared. Thanks to big data technology, all the previously mentioned problems have been solved while analysis through text-mining is recognized to be valuable as well. However, applying text-mining to Korean text is still at the initial stage due to the linguistic domain characteristics that the Korean language has. If not only the data searching but also the analysis through text-mining is possible, saving the cost of human and material resources required for text analysis will lead efficient resource utilization in numerous public work fields. Thus, in this paper, we compare and evaluate the public document classification by handwork to public document classification where word frequency(TF-IDF) in a text-mining-based text and Cosine similarity between each document have been utilized in big data environment.

The goal of this paper is to investigate changes in North Korea's domestic and foreign policies through automated text analysis over North Korean new year addresses, one of most important and authoritative document publicly announced by North Korean government. Based on that data, we then analyze the status of text mining research, using a text mining technique to find the topics, methods, and trends of text mining research. We also investigate the characteristics and method of analysis of the text mining techniques, confirmed by analysis of the data. We propose a procedure to find meaningful tendencies based on a combination of text mining, cluster analysis, and co-occurrence networks. To demonstrate applicability and effectiveness of the proposed procedure, we analyzed the inaugural addresses of Kim Jung Un of the North Korea from 2017 to 2019. The main results of this study show that trends in the North Korean national policy agenda can be discovered based on clustering and visualization algorithms. We found that uncovered semantic structures of North Korean new year addresses closely follow major changes in North Korean government's positions toward their own people as well as outside audience such as USA and South Korea.

As the use of semantic web based on XML increases in the field of data management, a lot of studies to extract useful information from the data stored in ontology have been tried based on association rule mining. Ontology data is advantageous in that data can be freely expressed because it has a flexible and scalable structure unlike a conventional database having a predefined structure. On the contrary, it is difficult to find frequent patterns in a uniformized analysis method. The goal of this study is to provide a basis for extracting useful knowledge from ontology by searching for frequently occurring subgraph patterns by applying transaction-based graph mining techniques to ontology schema graph data and instance graph data constituting ontology. In order to overcome the structural limitations of the existing ontology mining, the frequent pattern search methodology in this study uses the methodology used in graph mining to apply the frequent pattern in the graph data structure to the ontology by applying iterative node chunking method. Our suggested methodology will play an important role in knowledge extraction.
In this paper we introduce PubMiner, an intelligent machine learning based text mining system for mining biological information from the literature. PubMiner employs natural language processing techniques and machine learning based data mining techniques for mining useful biological information such as proteinprotein interaction from the massive literature. The system recognizes biological terms such as gene, protein, and enzymes and extracts their interactions described in the document through natural language processing. The extracted interactions are further analyzed with a set of features of each entity that were collected from the related public databases to infer more interactions from the original interactions. An inferred interaction from the interaction analysis and native interaction are provided to the user with the link of literature sources. The performance of entity and interaction extraction was tested with selected MEDLINE abstracts. The evaluation of inference proceeded using the protein interaction data of S. cerevisiae (bakers yeast) from MIPS and SGD.

Many data mining techniques have been proved useful in revealing important patterns from large data sets. Especially, data mining techniques play an important role in a customer data analysis in a financial industry and an electronic commerce. Also, there are many data mining related research papers in a semiconductor industry and an automotive industry. In addition, data mining techniques are applied to the bioinformatics area. To satisfy customers' various requirements, each industry should develop new processes with more accurate production criteria. Also, they spend more money to guarantee their products' quality. In this manner, we apply data mining techniques to the production-related data such as a test data, a field claim data, and POP (point of production) data in the automotive parts industry. Data collection and transformation techniques should be applied to enhance the analysis results. Also, we classify various types of manufacturing processes and proposed an analysis scheme according to the type of manufacturing process. As a result, we could find inter- or intra-process relationships and critical features to monitor the current status of the each process. Finally, it helps an industry to raise their profit and reduce their failure cost.
This study suggests new approach to identify core technologies through patent analysis. Specially, the approach applied data mining technique and multi-criteria decision making method to the co-classification information of registered patents. First, technological interrelationship matrices of intensity, relatedness, and cross-impact perspectives are constructed with support, lift and confidence values calculated by conducting an association rule mining on the co-classification information of patent data. Second, the analytic network process is applied to the constructed technological interrelationship matrices in order to produce the importance values of technologies from each perspective. Finally, data envelopment analysis is employed to the derived importance values in order to identify priorities of technologies, putting three perspectives together. It is expected that suggested approach could help technology planners to formulate strategy and policy for technological innovation.
