Using Requirements Engineering to support Non-Functional Requirements Elicitation for DAQ System

  • 최근의 기계 학습 연구에서는 데이터의 품질 및 완전성을 고려하기 위해 요구 공학 관점에서 데이터에 대한 비기능적 요구사항 도출이 제안되고 있으며, 특히 기계 학습에서의 데이터 요구사항을 요구 공학자들이 정의하였다. 본 연구에서는 데이터 전처리 이전에 데이터를 수집하고 저장하는 데이터 수집(DAQ) 단계에서 데이터 요구사항을 도출하였다. 이를 통해 기존 DAQ 시스템에서 필요로 하는 모든 데이터 요구사항과 이를 만족시키는 태스크(기능)의 유무, 그리고 요구사항과 기능 간의 관계를 표현할 수 있다. 또한 추출된 요구사항을 체계적으로 표현하고, 그 관계를 정의할 수 있어 소프트웨어 설계 문서의 작성이 가능하고 소프트웨어 설계 및 유지 보수 측면에서 체계적인 접근 및 방향성을 설정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 DAQ 시스템 사례를 이용하여 요구 공학적 접근을 위한 시나리오와 유스 케이스(Use case)를 작성하고, 이를 기반으로 사례별 데이터 요구사항을 추출하고 목표 모델링을 통해 요구사항, 기능, 목표 간의 관계를 도식화한다. 연구 결과를 통해 요구 공학을 이용한 DAQ 시스템에서 시스템이 필요로 하는 비기능적 요구사항, 특히 데이터의 요구사항을 추출할 수 있었다.

Service Quality and Consumer Satisfaction: An Empirical Study in Indonesia

  • The purpose of this research paper is: (1) to describe the service quality index; (2) describe the data quality index; and (3) describe the anti-corruption index of BPS Trenggalek, Indonesia. The approach chosen is quantitative with the type of survey research. The primary data collection technique was mainly based on a questionnaire distributed to 40 respondents, namely BPS service users in 5 (five) categories: the private sector, the banking industry, academics, offices, or agencies in Trenggalek Regency and universities. The results showed that the quality of BPS services was good and the data quality index where the respondents were satisfied with the data presented by BPS. Meanwhile, testing the anti-corruption index shows that BPS Trenggalek is very anti-corruption in providing services to consumers. The findings of this study suggested that to improve service quality, it is necessary to pay attention to several aspects, including published service requirements, easy requirements to be fulfilled, published procedure information, clear service process flow, published service times, and costs/tariffs are communicated. This study suggests updating data, data relevance, data accessibility, and data completeness to improve data quality. Furthermore, to maintain the very anti-corruption predicate, this study suggests maintaining service by upholding the prevailing ethics and norms.

Functional Requirements of Data Repository for DMP Support and CoreTrustSeal Authentication

  • For research data to be shared without legal, financial and technical barriers in the Open Science era, data repositories must have the functional requirements asked by DMP and CoreTrustSeal. In order to derive functional requirements for the data repository, this study analyzed the Data Management Plan (DMP) and CoreTrustSeal, the criteria for certification of research data repositories. Deposit, Ethics, License, Discovery, Identification, Reuse, Security, Preservation, Accessibility, Availability, and (Meta) Data Quality, commonly required by DMP and CoreTrustSeal, were derived as functional requirements that should be implemented first in implementing data repositories. Confidentiality, Integrity, Reliability, Archiving, Technical Infrastructure, Documented Storage Procedure, Organizational Infrastructure, (Meta) Data Evaluation, and Policy functions were further derived from CoreTrustSeal. The functional requirements of the data repository derived from this study may be required as a key function when developing the repository. It is also believed that it could be used as a key item to introduce repository functions to researchers for depositing data.

  • The construction industry consists of various and massive architectural information as an architectural process includes a variety of design stages with cooperation of many disciplines. Particularly, architectural information is generated and managed through the life cycle of a building, from conceptual design stage to the construction and maintenance. A Building Information Model (BIM) serves as a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming a reliable basis for decisions during its life-cycle from inception onward. BIM technology accomplished quantitative development being utilized in various disciplines. However, it is necessary to develop environment and requirement for qualitative improvement of BIM based project. Particularly, requirement is very important for architectural design evaluations. The purpose of this study is to develop and apply of quality control requirement for improving the quality of architectural design in open BIM environments. To achieve this purpose, the authors have investigated case study for open BIM data quality control (software, guideline and application case) and classified quality control targets according to physical/logical quality and data quality. In addition, the authors have defined open BIM based quality control process and developed quality control requirements. Finally, the authors have developed rule based quality check system using requirements for efficient quality control based on open BIM.

불균형 데이터 처리를 통한 소프트웨어 요구사항 분류 모델의 성능 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving Performance of Software Requirements Classification Models by Handling Imbalanced Data)

  • 자연어로 작성되는 소프트웨어 요구사항은 이해관계자가 바라보는 관점에 따라 의미가 달라질 수 있다. 품질 속성 기반으로 아키텍처 설계시에 품질 속성별로 적합한 설계 전술(Tactic)을 선택해야 효율적인 설계가 가능해 품질 속성 요구사항의 정확한 분류가 필요하다. 이에 따라 고비용 작업인 요구사항 분류에 관한 자연어처리 모델이 많이 연구되고 있지만, 품질 속성 데이터셋(dataset)의 불균형을 처리해 분류 성능을 개선하는 주제는 많이 다루고 있지 않다. 본 연구에서는 먼저 실험을 통해 분류 모델이 한국어 요구사항 데이터셋을 자동으로 분류할 수 있음을 보인다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 EDA(Easy Data Augmentation) 기법을 통한 데이터 증강과 언더샘플링(undersampling) 전략으로 품질 속성 데이터셋의 불균형을 개선할 수 있음을 설명하고 요구사항의 카테고리 분류에 효과가 있음을 보인다. 실험 결과 F1 점수(F1-Score) 기준으로 최대 5.24%p 향상되어 불균형 데이터 처리 기법이 분류 모델의 한국어 요구사항 분류에 도움이 됨을 확인할 수 있다. 또한, EDA의 세부 실험을 통해 분류 성능 개선에 도움이 되는 데이터 증강 연산에 관해 설명한다.

수리온 체계개발에서의 시스템엔지니어링 적용사례 (Application of Systems Engineering in SURION R&D Project)

  • Systems Engineering application focused on requirement definition and management for SURION System Development Project is described in this paper. To perform the development process effectively based on systems engineering processes; Requirements Definition, Design Review, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, Data Management, are applied in this project. In this processes, the Stakeholder's Requirements are transferred to Specifications verified with design reviews, prototyping inspections, and integration tests. All engineering data, especially verification plan & results are recorded, and traced to each requirements of system specification in Surion database. Therefore, it could be assured that all requirements of specification are evaluated and verified successfully in Surion Project.

  • International Organization for Standardization has recently published ISO 9001:2008 which is the basic requirements for a quality management system that an organization must fulfil to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products that enhance customer satisfaction and meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Not many empirical researches based on ISO 9001:2008 have been done up until now. In this article we outline transitional features for ISO 9000 quality management system (QMS) since its first publication in 1987. In order to effectively maintain ISO 9001:2008 QMS certification and continuously enhance quality management activities, we perform statistical analysis for the minor nonconformity data generated from follow-up audits for subcontractors of shipbuilding industry based on ISO 9001:2008 requirements. A Kruskal-Wallis test is used to show relationships between the minor nonconformity data and three classification criteria: the type of business, the size of business, and the number of follow-up audits.

데이터 품질 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Data Qualituy Evaluation)

  • 본 연구는 데이터 품질 평가란 관점에서 현재 진행되어지고 있는 국제 표준 ISO/IEC 25000시리즈인 SQuaRE(Software Quality Requirements and Evaluation) 프로젝트 중에서도 ISO/IEC 25012의 데이터 품질 평가 모델에 대한 연구이다. 데이터의 양이 많아지면서 사용자 관점에서는 정확한 데이터, 최신의 데이터, 사용하는 도구에 적합한 데이터, 보안성과 비 공개성을 준수할 수 있는 데이터를 원한다. 저 품질의 데이터가 비즈니스에 미치는 영향을 평가하여 실제적으로 적용할 수 있는 관점에서 데이터 품질 관리에 대한 것을 연구한다. 이러한 관점에서 데이터에 대한 품질을 평가할 수 있는 평가항목을 제시하고 제시된 평가항목의 평가 방안에 대해서 제시한다. 본 연구는 현재 진행되어지고 있는 ISO/IEC 25012의 표준문서와 소프트웨어 품질관리 표준문서 ISO/IEC 9126-2를 기초로 하여 연구되었으며 현재 진행되어지고 있는 소프트웨어 품질평가 모델 ISO/IEC 2500을 기반으로 하여 데이터 품질을 정량적으로 평가하는 방안을 제시한다.

요구사항의 비용산출을 통한 정량적인 ERRC 분석 방법 (A Quantitative ERRC Analysis Method via Requirements Cost Estimation)

  • Value-based requirements engineering process, called The ViRE(Value-Innovative Requirement Engineering) was suggested to create an uncontested market using ERRC(Eliminate, Reduce, Raise, Create) requirements analysis. But ViRE did not provides a quantitative data analysis method for ERRC decision so as to make objective decisions for customers. In this paper, to solve this problem, we suggest a quantitative ERRC analysis method by estimating requirements cost. Our method defines user requirements and decides their weight. Then, it makes quality level table for all the identified requirements and function modules and estimate implementation cost based on their quality levels. Finally, assess each requirement's impact and then evaluate ERRC value. We could get the more objective ERRC values by evaluate the requirement weight. functional module weight, and implementation cost. And we proved the efficiency of our model by a case study, smart student ID system.

철의장품을 생산하는 조선기자재 산업체의 품질경영 시스템 분석 (Analysis of Quality Management Practices in Steel Outfit Firms of Korean Shipbuilding Industry)

  • We analyze the current quality management status for firms producing steel outfits of ships and develop an efficient QMS appropriate to Korean steel outfit industry. The firms recently obtained ISO 9000 certificates and are located in Pusan ${\cdot}$ Kyungnam district of Korea. The analysis is based on the audit results from ISO 9000 for seven steel outfit firms during last three years. We find out major requirements of ISO 9000 and investigate statistical relationship among major requirements, types of data, and groups of firms by using a statistical package, SAS. Recommendations regarding add-on requirements are suggested to install an efficient QMS in Korean steel outfit firms.
