The purpose of this research paper is: (1) to describe the service quality index; (2) describe the data quality index; and (3) describe the anti-corruption index of BPS Trenggalek, Indonesia. The approach chosen is quantitative with the type of survey research. The primary data collection technique was mainly based on a questionnaire distributed to 40 respondents, namely BPS service users in 5 (five) categories: the private sector, the banking industry, academics, offices, or agencies in Trenggalek Regency and universities. The results showed that the quality of BPS services was good and the data quality index where the respondents were satisfied with the data presented by BPS. Meanwhile, testing the anti-corruption index shows that BPS Trenggalek is very anti-corruption in providing services to consumers. The findings of this study suggested that to improve service quality, it is necessary to pay attention to several aspects, including published service requirements, easy requirements to be fulfilled, published procedure information, clear service process flow, published service times, and costs/tariffs are communicated. This study suggests updating data, data relevance, data accessibility, and data completeness to improve data quality. Furthermore, to maintain the very anti-corruption predicate, this study suggests maintaining service by upholding the prevailing ethics and norms.
The purpose of this study is to assess spatiotemporal variation of coastal water quality according to time and location changes. For this we developed numerical marine trophic index base on four water quality components (chlorophyll, suspended solids, dissolved inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus) and applied this index to the water quality data measured in the korean coastal zone for the 7-years period from 1997 to 2003. Water quality data are obtained only at selected sites even though they are potentially available at any location. Therefore, in order to estimate spatial variation of coastal water quality, it is necessary to estimate the unknown values at unsampled locations based on observation data. In this study, we used IDW (Inverse Distance Weighted) method to predict water quality components at unmeasured locations and applied marine trophic index to predicted values obtained by IDW interpolation. The results of this study indicate that marine trophic index and spatial interpolation are useful for understanding spatiotemporal characteristics of coastal water quality.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to apply the Bayesian estimation methodology for producing 'Korean Standard -Quality Excellence Index' model and prove the effectiveness of the new approach based on survey data by comparing the current index with the new index produced by Bayesian estimation method. Methods: The 'Korean Standard -Quality Excellence Index' was produced through the collected survey data by Bayesian estimation method and comparing the deviation with two results for confirming the effectiveness of suggested application. Results: The statistical analysis result shows that suggested estimator, that is, empirical Bayes estimator improves the effectiveness of the index with regard to reduce the error under specific loss function, which is suggested for checking the goodness of fit. Conclusion: Considering the Bayesian techniques such as empirical Bayes estimator for producing the quality excellence index reduces the error for estimating the parameter of interest and furthermore various Bayesian perspective approaches seems to be meaningful for producing the corresponding index.
In this paper, an index for the evaluation of a vehicle intake booming noise and intake sound quality were developed through a correlation analysis and a multiple factor regression analysis of objective measurement and subjective evaluation data. At first, an intake orifice noise was measured at the wide-open throttle test condition. And then, an acoustic transfer function between intake orifice noise and interior noise at the steady state condition was estimated. Simultaneously, subjective evaluation was carried out with a 10-scale score by 8 intake noise and vibration expert evaluators. Next, the correlation analysis between the psychoacoustic parameters derived from the measured data and the subjective evaluation was performed. The most critical factor was determined and the corresponding index for intake booming noise and sound quality are obtained from the multiple factor regression method. And, the optimal design of intake system was studied using the booming noise and the sound quality evaluation index for expectation performance of intake system. Conclusively, the optimal designing parameters of intake system from noise level and sound quality whose point of view were extracted by adapting comparative weighting between the booming noise and sound quality evaluation index, which optimized the process. These work could be represented guideline to system engineers, designers and test engineers about optimization procedure of system performance by considering both of noise level and sound quality.

Objectives : This study aimed to investigate the relationship between cold feet and sleep quality using polysomnography (PSG) and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Methods : We divided 11 adults (6 females, 5 males) with Insomnia Severity Index score below 21 into cold feet (CF) and a non-cold feet (NCF) group based on the median feet temperature (Taichong, LR3). PSG and PSQI were administered to assess sleep characteristics and subjective sleep quality. Results : CF group exhibited significantly lower time in bed, sleep period time, and total sleep time compared to NCF group. While there were no significant group differences in sleep latency, wakefulness after sleep onset, or total arousal index, NCF group had significantly lower minimum oxygen saturation and apnea-hypopnea index in REM (rapid eye movement) sleep compared to CF group. Although the PSQI score and the proportion of poor sleepers were both higher in the CF group (7.40 and 80%) compared to the NCF group (5.50 and 50%), these differences did not reach statistical significance. Conclusions : This study showed that foot temperature affects sleep characteristics and suggests the need to utilize PSG in sleep research in Korean medicine.
Purpose: A main aims are to check the level of satisfaction of service quality and derive service quality factors in the field of defense quality assurance activities that need improvement. Furthermore, the paper presents a basic data for identifying future development directions. Methods: Classify the level of service perceived by customers and calculate the customer satisfaction coefficient and PCSI index. In addition, the direction of future research is established by empirically comparing and analyzing the data of this study and the past data. Results: The paper derive the service quality factors to be provided to small businesses in the current state. Moreover, It shows the increasing trend of new companies using comparative analysis with past data Conclusion: Since the new company consists of small businesses with less than 50 employees, further research on small businesses is needed in the future.

Results: The satisfaction of Airline Educational Service Quality can be improved if instructor operations are intensively managed considering field experience and contents that can be applied in the field. Conclusion: This study would provide useful information about Airline Educational Service Quality and can be applied to map out strategies to improve the satisfaction of the Airline Educational Service.
Purpose - This study aims to identify the priorities of medical service quality improvement by customer satisfaction characteristics and potential customer satisfaction improvement (PCSI) index based on the dualistic quality classification of Kano Model (1984) for Comprehensive Health Screeening Center in General Hospitals and Centers only for Comprehensive Health Screening and suggest a direction for future improvement. Research design, data, and methodology - Through advanced research on health screening medical service quality, this study set four service quality factors, including tangible, human, process and supportive factors, and 39 measurement items. Based on these items, the study used 117 questions, which consist of dualistic quality factors, customer satisfaction coefficients, positive and negative questions for PCSI index and questions for current satisfaction. 300 effective samples were collected for adults in their 20s who experienced health screening service in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and Incheon within the past two years. Collected data were input in the quality evaluation duality table to categorize quality factors and calculate customer satisfaction coefficients by Timko(1993). The study also analyzed PCSI index in comparison with current satisfaction and identified priorities in quality improvement. Results - It was found that the most urgent factors to improve the quality in both groups were adequate waiting hours and emergency response for complications, which are process factors classified as unitary quality. It is urgently needed to improve the quality as the PCSI index was high in supportive factors (complaint response team) as attractive quality in Comprehensive Health Screening Center in General Hospitals and in process factors (prevention of infection) as unitary quality in Centers only for Comprehensive Health Screening. As the PCSI index was low in space use as a tangible factor, it was found that the current level can be maintained instead of improvement. Conclusions - To improve the health screening medical service quality, it is required to focus on process factors (adequate waiting hours, emergency response for complications, prevention of infection) and supportive factors (complaint response team) among service qualities perceived by users. It is proposed to ensure continuous efforts to manage and reinforce priorities as a direction for future improvement in health screening service.
The heavy dependence of modern science-based agriculture on chemicals such as fertilizers and pesticides, and heavy machinery gave rise to questions about long-term sustainability of agriculture in relation to degradation of soil quality. The research achievements and trends in developing soil quality indicators were introduced and discussed in this report. Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) established 13 agri-environment indicators including soil quality indicator in 1994, collected the soil data and methodologies for development of soil quality indicators in OECD member countries responded to OECD questionnaires and published the OECD reports, Environmental Indicators for Agriculture Volume 1, 2, and 3. Leading countries such as USA, Canada and New Zealand collected national data and evaluated the data in aspect of soil quality. They developed the various methods for selecting a minimum data set (MDS), scoring the soil properties and calculating soil quality index integrating the score of each soil property.

The conservation of stream habitats has been gaining more public attention and fish habitat suitability index (HSI) is an important measure for ecological stream habitat assessment. The fish habitat preference is affected not only by physical stream conditions but also by water quality of which HSI was not available due to the lack of field data. The purpose of this study is to estimate the HSI of Zacco platypus for water quality parameters of water temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) using the water environment monitoring data provided by the Ministry of Environment (ME). Fish population data merged with water quality were constructed by spatio-temporal matching of nationwide water quality monitoring data with bio-monitoring data of the ME. Two types of the HSI were calculated by the Instream Flow and Aquatic Systems Group (IFASG) method and probability distribution (Weibull) fitting for the four major river basins. Both the HSIs by the IFASG and Weibull fitting appeared to represent the overall distribution and magnitude of fish population and this can be used in stream fish habitat evaluation considering water quality.
