  • DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service)는 대량의 좀비 PC를 이용하여 공격 대상 서버에 접근하여 자원을 고갈시켜 정상적인 사용자가 서버를 이용하지 못하게 하는 공격이다. DDoS 공격발생 사례가 꾸준히 증가하고 있고, 주요 공격대상은 IT 서비스, 금융권, 정부기관이기 때문에 DDoS를 탐지하는 것이 중요한 이슈로 떠오르고 있다. 본 논문에서는 DNS 서버를 이용하여 패킷을 증폭시키는 DNS DDoS 공격 즉, DNS Amplification 공격(이하 DNS 증폭 공격)을 Deep Learning (이하 딥 러닝)을 활용해 실시간으로 탐지하는 방법에 대해 소개한다. 기존 연구들의 한계점을 극복하기 위하여 실험망 환경의 데이터가 아닌 실 환경 데이터를 혼합하여 탐지 시스템을 학습하였다. 또한 이미지 인식에 주로 사용되는 Convolutional Neural Network (이하 CNN)을 이용하여 딥 러닝 모델을 구축하였다.

  • This paper presents the model for an AC electric railway system using the PSCAD/EMTDC program. It is composed of a scott-transformer, an auto-transformer, catenary and electric trains, etc. After obtaining the models of the fundamental elements describing the AC electric railway system and its behavior, we have analyzed and tested an actual AC electric railway system focused on the amplification of harmonic current to verify the proposed model. The simulation results from the proposed approach and the measurement data from the test are described.

  • This paper presents the AC electric railway system modeling using PSCAD/EMTDC program. This system model is composed of the scott-transformer the auto-transformer. the running rails. the protection wires, the feeders. the catenary and contact wires, etc. After obtaining the models of the fundamental elements describing the AC electric railway system and its behavior, we have analyzed and tested real traction power feeding system focused on the amplification of harmonic current to verify the proposed model.   • The H/V ratio (Horizontal to Vertical spectral ratio) has been used to infer site amplification without previous knowledge of near-surface geology and in fact may provide useful general site condition information. This method is used to classify the site characteristics of seismic stations in Korea by comparison with known H/V ratios representative of various sites all over the world. In addition, differences between horizontal and vertical kappa values were evaluated for each seismic stations by comparing WV ratio and Weak Motion amplification derived from inversion of stochastic ground motion parameters and were used as index to quantitatively classify the site characteristics.

  • 본 연구에서는 국내의 발파 자료를 이용하여 지반진동을 무차원적으로 예측하는 경험식을 도출하였다. 또 지반진동에 의한 구조물진동의 증폭계수를 산정하여 구조물 예상 응답스펙트럼을 작도할 수 있도록 하였다.

Intraspecific variations of the Yam (Dioscorea alata L.) based on external morphology and DNA marker analysis

  • Intraspecific genetic relationship of 19 variation types of the Yam (Dioscorea alata) classified by their external morphological characteristics such as leaf and tuber shape were assessed by DNA using random and specific primer. Twenty two out of 113 primers (100 random[10-mer] primers, two 15 mer [M13 core sequence, and (GGAT)$_4$ sequence]) had been used in PCR-amplification. Only 12 primers, however, were success in DNA amplification in all of the analyzed plants, resulting in 93 randomly and specifically amplified DNA fragments. The analyzed taxa showed very high polymorphisms(69 bands, 71.0 %), allowing individual taxon to be identified based on DNA fingerprinting. Monomorphic bands among total amplified DNA bands of each primer was low under the 50%. Similarity indices between accessions were computed from PCR(polymerase chain reaction) data, and genetic relationships among intraspecific variations were closely related at the levels ranging from 0.66 to 0.90. These DNA data were not matched well with those of morphological characters since they were divided into two major groups at the similarity coefficient value of 0.70. Therefore, Grouping of species into variation types by mainly morphological charactistics was suggested unreasonable.

Applied 2D equivalent linear program to analyze seismic ground motion: Real case study and parametric investigations

  • Seismic ground response evaluation is one of the main issues in geotechnical earthquake engineering. These analyses are subsequently divided into one-, two- and three-dimensional methods, and each of which can perform in time or frequency domain. In this study, a novel approach is proposed to assess the seismic site response using two-dimensional transfer functions in frequency domain analysis. Using the proposed formulation, a program is written in MATLAB environment and then promoted utilizing the equivalent linear approach. The accuracy of the written program is evaluated by comparing the obtained results with those of actual recorded data in the Gilroy region during Loma Prieta (1989) and Coyote Lake (1979) earthquakes. In order to precise comparison, acceleration time histories, Fourier amplitude spectra and acceleration response spectra diagrams of calculated and recorded data are presented. The proposed 2D transfer function diagrams are also obtained using mentioned earthquakes which show the amount of amplification or attenuation of the input motion at different frequencies while passing through the soil layer. The results of the proposed method confirm its accuracy and efficiency to evaluate ground motion during earthquakes using two-dimensional model. Then, studies on irregular topographies are carried out, and diagrams of amplification factors are shown.

개정된 지반증폭계수의 Macro적 액상화 평가에 미치는 영향 분석 (Analysis of the Effect of the Revised Ground Amplification Factor on the Macro Liquefaction Assessment Method)

  • 포항지진(ML=5.4) 시 발생한 액상화 현상은 국민들에게 지진으로 유발되는 액상화의 위험성을 새롭게 각인시켰고, 이에 대한 대비책으로 액상화 위험지도의 관심이 높아지고 있다. 현재 행정안전부가 보유하고 있는 액상화 위험지도는 2014년 제작된 것으로 전국 100,000개 이상의 시추 자료를 토대로 지하수위 0m인 조건으로 지반조건별 증폭계수를 사용하였으며 시추정보가 없는 지역은 보간법을 이용하여 2km × 2km 격자형식으로 제작된 것이 특징이다. 이러한 가운데, 2018년 행정안전부는 내진설계 공통기준의 새로운 지반분류법과 증폭계수를 공표하였다. 따라서 개정된 행정안전부의 증폭계수를 반영한 액상화 위험지도의 재작성이 필요하다. 본 연구는 내진설계 공통기준 개정 전·후 두 개의 기준으로 전 국토를 대상으로 지반분류를 수행하여 변동성을 분석하였으며, 지반조건별 증폭계수를 적용한 액상화 평가결과를 부산시 강서구를 대상으로 수행하였다. 이때 재현주기 500년과 1,000년에 해당하는 지반가속도를 적용하였으며 우리나라 평균 지하수위인 5m와 극한 조건인 0m로 구분하여 액상화 위험도를 평가하였다. 액상화 위험지도는 기존의 2km × 2km보다 높은 해상도를 확보하기 위해 500m × 500m 격자를 생성하여 위험지도를 작성하였다. 연구결과, 기존 지반분류 기준을 통해 SC, SD 지반으로 분류되었던 지반상태가 개정된 지반분류 기준을 통해 S2, S3, S4로 재분류되었다. 재현주기 500년과 1,000년으로 액상화 평가를 수행한 결과 개정 전 지반증폭계수 적용한 LPI가 상대적으로 과대평가되는 결과를 도출하였다. 본 연구결과는 증폭계수를 이용하는 광역지역 액상화 위험지도 작성의 근간인 액상화 평가에 큰 영향을 미치는 요소로써 향후 광역지역 액상화 위험지도 작성의 경우 반드시 고려될 사항으로 판단된다

옥계항에서 관측된 폭풍파와 저중력파의 상호관계 (Correlation between Storm Waves and Far-Infra-Gravity Waves Observed in kkye Harbor)

  • 옥계항 내외의 5개 정점에서 부이형 파향·파고계와 수압식 파고계를 사용하여 연속관측한 장·단주기파의 장기간 자료를 분석하여 옥계항 주변 해역에서의 장주기파 에너지의 공간적, 시간적 분포를 검토하였다. 장주기파 자료 분석에 일정평활화법, 점증평활화법 및 이동평균평활화법을 적용하여 각각의 장·단점을 검토한 결과 해당 항만의 제1 공진 모드의 주기와 사용하는 자료의 길이에 따라 적절한 에너지 평활화 방법을 사용해야 함을 보였다. 장기간 자료와 2일 길이의 자료들의 분석 결과를 비교하여 평상시와 폭풍시를 구분하여 해석하는 것이 타당함을 보였다. 한편, 관측 자료의 종합적인 분석 결과 옥계항의 Helmholtz 공진 주기는 약 9.6분(상대진폭비 9∼10)으로 제시되었으며 저중력파 주기대의 주기 1.2∼1.3분과 0.7분의 국부 부진동이 매우 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 그리고, 평상시 자료에서는 항입구와 항내 정점에서 주기 9분 이상에서의 에너지가 저중력파 주기대의 에너지에 비해 100배 이상으로 매우 크게 나타났지만, 폭풍시에는 주파수 대폭에 무관하게 에너지가 크게 나타났으며, 특히 항내에서는 국부 부진동의 에너지가 평상시에 비해 최소 100배 이상으로 제시되었다. 마지막으로 항내에서는 Helmholtz 공진 모드와 주기 1∼2분의 저중력파 에너지가 폭풍파고의 크기에 비례하는 것으로 나타났다.

Relationship of Amplification and Expression of the C-MYC Gene with Survival among Gastric Cancer Patients

  • Background: During the past decades, the incidence and mortality rate of stomach cancer has demonstrated a great decrease in the world, but it is still one of the most common and fatal cancers especially among men worldwide, including Iran. The MYC proto-oncogene, which is located at 8q24.1, regulates 15% of genes and is activated in 20% of all human tumors. MYC amplification and overexpression of its protein product has been reported in 15-30% of gastric neoplasias. The aim of this investigation was to find the relative efficacy of CISH (chromogenic in situ hybridization) or IHC (immunohistochemistry) in diagnosis and prognosis of gastric cancer, as well as the relationship of amplification and expression of C-MYC gene with patient survival. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 102 samples of gastric cancer were collected from patients who had undergone primary surgical resection at the Cancer Institute Hospital, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, from July 2009 to March 2014. All samples were randomly selected from those who were diagnosed with gastric adenocarcinomas. CISH and IHC methods were performed on all of them. Results: Patients were classified into two groups. The first consisted of stage I and II cases, and the second of stage III and IV. Survival tests for both groups was carried out with referrnce to CISH test reults. Group II (stage III & IV) with CISH+ featured lower survival than those with CISH- (p=0.233), but group I (stage I & II) patients demonstrated no significant variation with CISH+ or CISH- (p=0.630). Kaplan-Meier for both groups was carried out with IHC test findings and showed similar results. This data revealed that both diffuse and intestinal types of gastric cancer occurred significantly more in men than women. Our data also showed that CISH+ patients (43%) were more frequent in comparison with IHC+ patients (14.7%). Conclusions: For planning treatment of gastric cancer patients, by focusing on expanding tumors, which is the greatest concern of the surgeons and patients, CISH is a better and more feasible test than IHC, in regard to sensitivity and specificity. Therefore, CISH can be used as a feasible test for tumor growth and prognosis in stage III and IV lesions. This study also indicated that C-MYC amplification in gastric cancer is correlated with survival in advanced stages.
