Development of Multi Data Acquisition and Analysis Device for Tracked Vehicle Using SBC (SBC를 이용한 궤도차량의 다중데이터 획득 및 분석장치 개발)

  • Recently it is becoming more common to apply vehicle electronics(Vetronics) based on information technology to improve the operability of the combat vehicles. Although the vehicle electronics system has been gradually developed, it is hard not only to design the reliable system which is a built-in multi-function but also to analyze the fault failure in the state of on-vehicle when failures occur. Therefore, It is required the data logging system like a aircraft's black box for the combat vehicles to enhance the reliability. In this paper, we developed the multi data acquisition and analysis device which is acquiring real-time data such as communication data, video data and voice data available for checking operational status of system and managing history. The performance of device has been proved on the vehicle.

Acquisition and Analysis of Environmental Data for Smart Farm (스마트팜 생육환경 데이터 획득 및 분석)

  • Smart farms, which have been receiving attention as a solution to recent rural problems, refer to technologies that optimize the growing environment of crops and increase the productivity and quality of crops through efficient management. If the relationships between environmental data in smart farms are analyzed, additional productivity enhancement and crop management will be possible. In this paper, we propose a method for acquiring and analyzing nine environmental data, including temperature, humidity, CO2, soil temperature, soil moisture, insolation, soil EC, EC, and pH. Data acquisition is done through RS-485 communication between the main board and the sensor board and stored in the database after acquisition. The stored data is downloaded in Excel sheet format and analyzed through histograms, data charts, and correlation heatmaps. First, we analyze the distribution of total, day, and night data through histogram analysis, and identifiy the average, median, minimum, and maximum values by month through data chart analysis separating day and night to see how the data changes by month. Finally, we analyze the correlation of the data through a correlation heatmap analysis separating day and night. The results show a very strong positive correlation between temperature and soil temperature and soil EC and EC during the day, and a very strong positive correlation between temperature and soil temperature and soil EC and EC at night, and a strong negative correlation between temperature and soil EC.

  • This paper presents a gas turbine data acquisition and monitoring system using a LabVIEW programming. The developed real-time monitoring system entitled a C-Tune DAS plays an important role to make an analysis of the real-time operation of the gas turbine under maintenance. The LabVIEW based software is divided into three parts according to their original functions; Data acquisition, Data analysis and display, and Data storage. The data acquisition part receives data from a PMS (Plant Management System) server and two cFPs (Compact-Field Point). To verify the validity of the developed system, it is applied to gas turbines in the combined cycle power plant in Korea.

  • Under combat simulation environment when inputting the detection performance data of the real system into the simulated object the given data affects the simulation analysis result. ACQUIRE-Target Task Performance Metric (TTPM)-Target Angular Size (TAS) model is used as a target acquisition model to simulate the detection ability of entities in the main combat simulation tool. This model estimates the decomposition curve of the object sensor and output the detection distance according to the target type. However, it is not easy to apply the performance of the new detection object that the user wants to input to the target acquisition model. Users want to input the detection distance into the target acquisition model, but the target acquisition model requires sensor decomposition curve data according to encounter conditions. In this paper, we propose a method of inversely deriving the sensor decomposition curve data of the target acquisition model by taking the detection distance to the target as an input. Here, the sensor decomposition curve data simultaneously satisfies each detection distance for three types of targets: personnel, ground vehicles, and aircraft. Finally, the detection distance of various reconnaissance equipment is applied to the detection object, and the detection effect according to the reconnaissance equipment is analyzed.

A Study on Socially Responsible Clothing Acquisition Behavior respond to Altruistic and Economic Incentives toward Recycling of Clothing(Part II) (재활용 동기 부여에 따른 사회책임적 의류 획득 행동에 관한연구(제2보))

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the Korean consumers' socially responsible clothing acquisition behavior respond to altruistic and economic incentives toward recycling of clothing and the relations between demographic variables and acquisition behavior. Data were collected from the adult females residing in Seoul. Judgement Sampling were performed twice and total 549 sets of answers were used for final analysis. The results are as follows : First the consumers of favoring altruistic and economic incentive prefer to acquire clothing with free cost and the consumers favoring altruistic incentive tend to acquire clothing through unknown persons,. Second the analysis of relationship between the attitude toward recycling incentives and the demographic variables shows that the consumers with relatively higher education have strong will for recycling by altruistic incentive. Third the analysis of relationship between acquisition behavior and the demographic variables shows that consumers with relatively lower education normally acquire clothing from unknown persons and from acquaintance. In addition married persons tend to acquire clothing at free of cost.

  • 3kW grid-connected photovoltaic(PV) systems and data acquisition system are constructed for performance analysis of PV system at field demonstration test center of Gwang-Ju in Korea. As climatic and irradiation conditions are varied, operation characteristics of the PV system are collected and analyzed in data acquisition system. From these results, the performances of PV systems have simulated and evaluated using simulation tool In comparison with actual value of data acquisition system of field demonstration test center. Furthermore, performance of each PV system e.g. electric power and loss factor is reviewed.

  • Investigation has been carried out on the characteristics of thermally stimulated current for PVDF (polyvinylidene flouride) film, using Data Acquisition system, in the temperature range from -100[$^{\circ}C$] to 20[$^{\circ}C$]. The peaks observed, two of the diatinguished peaks such as $\delta$, $\gamma$ each of which appeared at -39[$^{\circ}C$] and -15[$^{\circ}C$] respectively. Their peaks exhibited by the depolarization in amorphous region. It proposed new numerical method for analysis of TSC spectra.

A Study on Acquisition of Korean EFL College Students' Indefinite Article (한국학생들의 부정관사 습득에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the process of Korean students' acquiring the indefinite article. To research this , we will propose two subjects of study as below. The first subject is that we will examine whether there will be any differences of the acquisition in the indefinite article between gender, male and female. The second subject is that we will examine whether there are any differences of the acquisition by the degree of proficiency at English. The subject of a sample survey was 115 female and 80 male students, total 195 students, who take English courses as a required subject at 'C' university in Gwangju. The necessary data for this study was obtained by the Questionnaires with 19 questions about the indefinite article. The data analyzing method was ANOVA(analysis of variance between groups) through the statistics program SPSS 12.0. As a consequences of this study we found that the side of the acquisition in the indefinite article between gender, male and female is closely related in the data result of the questions and the side of the acquisition by the level of proficiency at English has the meaningful data result of 14 questions at the questionaries.

  • An air data acquisition algorithm has been developed for the supersonic flow at the preliminary design stage with pressure data acquisition device composed of major three total pressure sensors and two static pressure sensors. Through this algorithm, Mach number, angle of attack and sideslip angle can be very easily derived with simple interpolation algorithm and predefined data tables. In this preliminary design stage, to verify the developed algorithm, the data tables are constructed with data driven by Taylor Maccoll equation. Furthermore, these data are compared and modified with computational results based on CFD analysis. The present algorithm would be useful to get supersonic air data for the various aerial vehicles and their flight tests.

  • The resonant column testing is a laboratory testing method to determine the shear modulus and the material damping factor of soils. The method has been widely used for many applications and its importance has been increased. Since the establishment of the testing method in 1963, the low-technology electronic devices for testing and data acquisition have limited the measurement to the amplitude of the linear spectrum. The limitations of the testing method were also attributed to the assumption of the linear-elastic material in the theory of the resonant column testing and to the use of the wave equation for the dynamic response of the specimen. For the better theoretical formulation of the resonant column testing, this study derived the equation of motion and provided its solution. This study also proposed the improved data reduction and analysis method for the resonant column testing, based on the advanced data acquisition system and the proposed theoretical solution for the resonant column testing system. For the verification of the proposed data reduction and analysis method, the numerical simulation of the resonant column testing was performed by the finite element analysis. Also, a series of resonant column testing were peformed for Joomunjin sand, which verified the feasibility, of the proposed method and showed the limitations of the conventional data reduction and analysis method.
