  • Purpose. The aim of this study was to investigate to what extent cyclic load affects the screwless implant-abutment connection for Morse taper dental implants. Materials and Methods. 16 implants (SICvantage max) and 16 abutments (Swiss Cross) were used. The screwless implant-abutment connection was subjected to 10,000 cycles of axial loading with a maximum force of 120 N. For the pull-off testing, before and after the same cyclic loading, the required force for disconnecting the remaining 6 implant-abutment connections was measured. The surface of 10 abutments was examined using a scanning electron microscope 120× before and after loading. Results. The pull-off test showed a significant decrease in the vertical force required to pull the abutment from the implant with mean 229.39 N ± 18.23 before loading, and 204.30 N ± 13.51 after loading (P<.01). Apart from the appearance of polished surface areas and slight signs of wear, no visible damages were found on the abutments. Conclusion. The deformation on the polished abutment surface might represent the result of micro movements within the implant-abutment connection during loading. Although there was a decrease of the pull-off force values after cyclic loading, this might not have a notable effect on the clinical performance.

  • The article assesses the level of navigation safety, in theoretical terms, defines the complexity of managing navigational risks in practice. The issues of assessing the navigational safety have been studied due to the importance and relevance of the issue in question, however, due to the great complexity of the problem under consideration, the article considers and indicates the directions for the development of the solution of the given direction, where, first of all, it became necessary to analyze the issue of assessing the levels of navigation risks when navigating vessels of various types in difficult navigation conditions.

유량 횡분배법에 의해 계산된 수리량에 기초하여 modified Meyer-Peter and Muller 공식 (Wong and Parker, 2006)과 Camenen and Larson (2005)공식을 이용하여 횡방향 소류사 분포와 총 소류사량을 계산하였다. 제시된 소류사량 산정 기법을 Danube River의 소류사 측정 자료를 통해 검증하였다.

  • PURPOSE. The aim of this study was to evaluate the fracture resistance and fracture behavior of monolithic zirconia crowns in accordance with the preparation design and aging simulation method. MATERIALS AND METHODS. An upper first molar was prepared sequentially with three different preparation designs: shoulderless preparation, 0.4 mm chamfer and 0.8 mm chamfer preparation. For each preparation design, 30 monolithic zirconia crowns were fabricated. After cementation on Cr-Co alloy dies, the following artificial aging procedures were performed: (1) thermal cycling and mechanical loading (TCML): 5000 cycles of thermal cycling $5^{\circ}C-55^{\circ}C$ and chewing simulation (1,200,000 cycles, 50 N); (2) Low Temperature Degradation simulation (LTD): autoclave treatment at $137^{\circ}C$, 2 bar for 3 hours and chewing simulation; and (3) no pre-treatment (control group). After artificial aging, the crowns were loaded until fracture. RESULTS. The mean values of fracture resistance varied between 3414 N (LTD; 0.8 mm chamfer preparation) and 5712 N (control group; shoulderless preparation). Two-way ANOVA analysis showed a significantly higher fracture loads for the shoulderless preparation, whereas no difference was found between the chamfer preparations. In contrast to TCML, after LTD simulation the fracture strength of monolithic zirconia crowns decreased significantly. CONCLUSION. The monolithic crowns tested in this study showed generally high fracture load values. Preparation design and LTD simulation had a significant influence on the fracture strength of monolithic zirconia crowns.

  • In this study, observations were made on costumes of romantic ballet. Twelve ballets of romantic period were selected for this study; La Sylphide(1832), La Filledu Danube (1836), Le Diable Boiteux(1836), La Gitana(1838), La Gipsy(1839), La Tarentule(1839), L'Ombre(1839), Giselle(1841), La Peri(1843), La Esmeralda(1844), Pas de Quatre(1845), la Fille de Marbe(1847). Romantic age was acceptance of the ballerinas as the central figure on the stage. Famous ballerinas in romantic age were Marie Taglioni, Fanny Elβler, Carlota Grisi, Fanny Cerrito, Lucile Grahn. Romantic style of dancing sprung onto the stage of the Paris Oepra with M. Taglione's first performance of La Sylphide in 1832. Ballet costumes n romantic period except La Gipsy were with low decolletage, very short transparent sleeves that decorated with shining band or small cuffs, and the waist of the fitted bodice dipped to point in front decorated with sash or jewel. The form of skirts was bell-shaped and reached middle calf. That style became stereotype for ballet costume and called ballet blanc.

  • The complex ecological researches were made in the broad-leaved forest zone of Central Europe in nature reserves and national parks located on the banks of the river (hydrology, vegetation, soils, unconfined ground waters). The natural conditions of terrestrial ecosystems and natural sites were compared along the course of the rivers. The significant negative influence of low-dammed (low-confined hydrotechnic) construction and small reservoirs on vegetation and soils of floodplain was revealed. On the basis of analysis of mean annual water level and flow trends on the multi-years series (60-100 years) of the hydrometric stations on the rivers under consideration the significant influence of natural long-term variability of watering on vegetation dynamics in the floodplains was revealed.

  • We are faced with water pollutions on a population explosion. Considering the importance, we research European rivers based on OECD reports. Observations in the reports have defects that make evaluation of environmental situations be difficult. By using interpolations in the compensation quantitative structure-activity relation ships (CQSAR), we complement the defects in the water quality of rivers through big cities. Thus, we get complete data set for dissolved oxygen, biochemical oxygen demand, and total phosphorus. Using the data set, we examine re-naturalization of the Rhein and the Donau in Germany. We investigate the effect of dams between Slovakia and Hungary, by using reconstructions of neural networks in CQSAR. The reconstructions have functions to extract a principal relation. On the investigation, we examine assertions of conservation groups. As the result, we confirm the re-naturalization is effective, and find a negative effect of the dam construction on changes of dissolved oxygens in the Hungary Donau. We investigate the Seine and the Thames, too.

  • The article considers in detail the possibilities and significance of marketing technologies for additional education programs as the most flexible and adaptive component of the educational process. Moreover, additional education programs are the most market-defined. Also at this stage, we have developed the structure of the e-mail message about ongoing additional educational programs in order to promote them, and on its basis, we have prepared an example of a letter for e-mail.informational and educational mailing using techniques to attract the attention of the addressee in order to promote additional educational programs. The content of the letter was also formed for students of the electronic course "Education Marketing", sent out in order to monitor the educational process.
