벼 잎도열병 피해해석에 의한 경제적 방제수준 설정 (Establishment of Economic Threshold by Evaluation of Yield Component and Yield Damages Caused by Rice Leaf Blast (Magnaporthe grisea))

  • 본 연구는 잎도열병에 대한 합리적 약제방제수준을 설정하기 위하여 수행하였다. 발병은 온실에서 도열병균을 접종하여 발병시킨 전파식물을 시험식물 이앙 2주 후에 이식하여 발병을 유도하였다. 발병정도 설정은 병 발생 최성기에 병반면적율에 따라 수준을 설정하고 표식하였다. 병반면적율에 따라 주당이삭수, 이삭당입수, 등숙율, 천립중 그리고 수량에 대한 상관을 분석한 결과 주당이삭수, 등숙율, 수량과는 1%수준에서 -0.97, -1.00, -0.96의 부의 상관이 있었으며, 이삭당입수와 천립중은 1% 수준에서 공히 0.98의 정의 상관이 있었다. 수익역치(GT) 값은 방제비용을 쌀 시장가격으로 나누어 8.35가 되며, 경제적 피해수준(EIL)은 수익역치값을 회귀식의 피해계수로 나눈 값이 된다. 경제적 방제수준(ET)은 EIL값에다 80%를 곱한 값이 된다. 본 시험에서의 경제적 피해허용 수준은 주당 이삭수, 이삭당입수, 등숙율, 천립중, 수량에서 각각 병반면적율 41.77%, 9.74%, 19.01%, 291.06%, 3.36%가 된다. 수량에 대한 경제적 방제수준은 2.7%가 된다($3.4%(EIL){\times}0.8$). 수량에서의 경제적 방제수준은 하위 2엽이 거의 병반으로 덮여 있거나 20개 이상의 대형병반이 하위엽에 발생하였을 때 방제하는 시점으로 나타났다.

내부충진을 통한 벨크로 보강재의 성능향상에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Performance Improvement of Velcro Reinforcement through Internal Filling)

  • 다층 구조물의 경우 1층이 연약한 경우 지진 시 1층에 변형이 집중되어 기둥 부재에 심각한 손상이 발생하거나 파괴되어 구조물이 붕괴하는 사례가 발생하게 된다. 국내의 경우 포항지진 당시 필로티 구조물의 손상사례를 예로 들 수 있다. 2016년 국립재난 안전연구원의 "국내 비내진 건축물의 내진보강공법 조사 및 소요비용 분석 연구"에 따르면 민간 철근콘크리트조 건축물 중 주택의 내진화 비율은 38.3 %고, 그 중 2층 구조물 7.1 %에서 6층 96.3 % 그 외 99.4 %로 2~5층 구조물의 경우 내진비율이 50 %이하로 저조한 것으로 보고하였다. 이에 정부는 지원사업을 통해서 내진화율을 개선코자 하고있으나, 종래의 보강법은 여전히 시공비용이 고가이고 긴급시공이 어려운 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 2014년 국토교통부의 연구사업을 통해서 개발된 저렴하고 긴급시공이 가능한 벨크로를 사용한 내진보강법의 성능을 개선하고자 벨크로와 콘크리트 기둥 사이에 고발포의 경질 우레탄 내부 충진을 통해서 벨크로의 초기긴장력을 도입하고, 이를 통해서 콘크리트 구속효과에 따른 벨크로의 연성보강성능 개선을 목표로 이를 평가하기 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 시험체의 최대 연성도를 통한 평가에서 벨크로 내진 보강재의 최대 연성도 증진 효과를 재확인할 수 있었다. 에너지 소산 능력을 통한 평가에서는 VELCRO1 대비 VELCRO2 눈에 띄는 개선을 보인 반면, VELCRO1와 VELCRO2 시험체의 최대 연성도는 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결과적으로 충진재가 사용된 VELCRO2 시험체에서 에너지 소산 능력은 크게 증진되었으나, 최대 연성도 평가에서 최대변위(∆max)의 증가가 크지 않은 것을 확인하였다. 따라서 내부 충진재 재료의 개선과 균일한 충진재 시공을 개선의 필요성이 확인되었다.

동아시아 사막 면적의 경년변화분석 (A Long-term Variability of the Extent of East Asian Desert)

  • 사막면적은 매년 증가하는 추세이며, 이에 따라 막대한 사회적 피해 비용을 발생시키고 있다. 이러한 사막은 광범위하게 분포하고 사람의 접근이 어려워 인공위성을 이용한 모니터링이 많이 이루어지고 있지만 인공위성의 센서에 따라 산출되는 사막 면적 비교 연구는 미비한 편이다. 센서의 선택에 따라 산출되는 사막 면적은 상이할 수 있고 이에 따라 기후 예측이나 사막화 방지대책 등에 영향을 미칠 수 있어 센서별로 산출되는 사막면적 자료의 특성을 인지하는 것은 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)와 Vegetation을 이용해 2001-2013년 동북아시아 지역의 사막 면적을 산출하고 비교 분석하였다. 분석결과, MODIS에서 산출한 사막 면적은 비교적 과소 탐지하는 경향과 $20,911km^2/year$로 감소하는 추세를 보였고 Vegetation에서 산출한 사막 면적은 $3,020km^2/year$로 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 또한 실측자료 확보가 힘든 사막지역에서 인공위성을 이용해 산출된 사막 면적의 간접검증을 위해 사막 면적 변화에 영향을 받는 황사 발생빈도와 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, MODIS는 R=0.2071로 비교적 낮은 상관관계가 나타났고 Vegetation은 R=0.4837로 비교적 높은 상관관계가 나타났다. 이는 Vegetation이 동북아시아 사막 영역에서 보다 정확한 사막 면적 산출을 수행한 것으로 사료된다.

토마토 재배지 성페로몬 및 LED 유인 트랩을 이용한 파밤나방(Spodoptera exigua)과 담배거세미나방(Spodoptera litura) 대량 포획 (Attraction Effects of Sex Pheromone and LED Mass-Trap to Spodoptera exigua and Spodoptera litura (Fabricius) Adults around the Tomato Greenhouse)

  • 토마토 재배지에서 다발생하는 파밤나방(S. exigua)과 담배거세미나방(S. litura) 유인살충을 위해 두 종류의 LED 트랩을 온실 외부에 설치하고 no light 트랩을 대조구로 하여 트랩내 유인력을 상호 비교하였다. 이때 이들 두 종의 나방류 유인을 위해 LED 트랩 주위 토마토 재배온실 안쪽에 토마토의 생장 정도에 따라 상부에 성페로몬 트랩을 각각 설치하였다. 설치 10일 후 LED 트랩에서 두 종의 나방이 다량 유인되었으나 no light 트랩에서는 두 종의 나방류 유인력이 매우 낮았다. 또한, 두 종의 나방이 유인된 LED 트랩 간 유인량 비교 결과 Violet-light 트랩(VLB trap, 파장범위 420nm)에서는 담배거세미나방 12마리, 파밤나방 34마리가 유인된 반면, Blue-light 트랩(BLB trap, 파장범위 470nm)에서는 42마리와 105마리가 유인되어 3.1-3.5배 높게 유인되었다. 한편, 성페로몬 트랩과 LED 유인 트랩 설치 후 살충제 무처리구에서 파밤나방과 담배거세미나방 피해가 발생하지 않아 방제 가능성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이때 2종의 LED 트랩의 운용비용은 단위 면적당 80won/m2으로 나타났으며, 두 종의 나방 모두 방제가 가능한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 성페로몬 트랩과 2종의 LED 트랩에서 포획된 토마토 가해 두 종의 나방 수를 4개월 후 확인해 본 결과, 두 종의 나방이 373마리/트랩 이상 유인되어 친환경적인 방제가 가능한 것으로 판단되었다.

  • 구리는 우수한 특성, 특히 높은 전도성과 낮은 저항으로 인해 전기/전자 제조 산업에 널리 사용되는 비철금속 중 하나이다. 이러한 산업의 표면 처리 공정에서는 구리 함량이 높은 폐수가 발생하며, 직간접적으로 수계로 배출된다. 이는 심각한 환경 오염을 일으키고 또한 귀중한 유용금속의 손실을 초래한다. 이러한 문제를 극복하기 위하여, 효율적이고 저렴하며 친환경적인 흡착제를 찾기 위한 목적으로 흡착 분야에서 전 세계적으로 지속적인 연구개발이 진행되고 있다. 이러한 점을 고려하여, 본 연구에서는 위와 같은 폐수로부터 구리 흡착을 위한 바이오 흡착제로서 식물뿌리(Datura 뿌리 분말)의 성능을 합성 흡착제(Tulsion T-42)와 비교하였다. 실험은 흡착제 투여량, 접촉시간, pH, 주입액 농도 등의 변수들을 최적화하기 위하여 회분식으로 수행되었다. 초기구리농도가 100 ppm이고 pH가 4인 주입액에서, 0.2 g Datura 뿌리 분말을 15분간 접촉하였을 때 구리 흡착율은 95%이었으며, 0.1 g Tulsion T-42은 30분간 접촉에서 95%의 흡착율을 나타내었다. 두 흡착제의 흡착 데이터는 Freundlich 등온선과 잘 일치하였으며, 유사 2차 속도식을 따르는 것을 나타내었다. 전체 결과는 본 연구의 바이오 흡착제가 표면처리 공정의 폐액 또는 폐수로부터 금속 회수에 적용될 가능성을 보여주고 있다.

침수유발 강우량을 이용한 강원특별자치도 호우특보 기준에 관한 연구 (The study of heavy rain warning in Gangwon State using threshold rainfall)

  • 강원특별자치도는 태백산맥을 중심으로 지방에 따라 기후 특성이 매우 다르며, 국지성 호우가 빈번하게 발생하는 지역이다. 호우재해는 발생 시간이 짧고, 시공간적 변동성이 매우 커 많은 인명 및 재산피해를 유발한다. 최근 10년(2012~2021)간 강원지역 호우피해 발생 횟수는 28건이고, 평균 발생 피해액은 456억 원가량으로 집계되었다. 호우재해를 저감하기 위해선 지역단위의 재난관리 방안을 수립해야 한다. 특히나 현재 운영 중인 호우특보 기준은 획일화되어 지역 특성을 고려하지 못하는 한계가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 강원특별자치도에 위치한 특보구역을 대상으로 침수유발 강우량을 고려한 호우특보 기준을 제안하고자 한다. 특보구역별 침수유발 강우량 대푯값 분석 결과 평균값이 호우특보 발령 기준과 유사했고, 이를 본 연구의 호우특보 기준으로 선정하였다. 호우특보 기준 검토를 위한 강우사상으로 2019년 태풍 미탁, 2020년 태풍 마이삭과 하이선, 2023년 태풍 카눈 강우사상을 적용했고, Hit Rate 정확도 검증 결과 강릉평지 72%, 원주 98%로 본 연구는 실제 특보를 잘 반영함을 확인했다. 본 연구의 호우특보 기준은 위기경보 단계(관심, 주의, 경계, 심각)와 위계가 동일하여 선제적 호우재해 대응이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 호우재해 대응의 획일적 의사결정 시스템을 보완하고, 이를 토대로 지역별 재해위험성을 고려한 호우특보 기준으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N.
