Increasingly, systems analysts are expected to have behavioral and administrative skills as well as technical skills. This paper presents the results of a nationwide survey of 739 information systems (IS) managers (220 responses) and other functional managers (178) regarding the importance of various skills needed by systems analysts. The findings indicate that IS managers and three functional area managers differ in their perceptions of the importance of skills that system analysts should possess. These differences suggest that IS managers consider the ability to work with others more important than do functional managers. In contrast, three functional manager groups seem to view technical areas more importantly and thus may have greater expectations for technical performance. Also the results indicate that a positive relationship exists between possession of the identified skills and systems effectiveness.

Korean folk medicine 'Jin Hae Cho' has been used as a remedy for neuralgia and an invigorating drug after a childbirth in Korea. The botanical origin of the crude drug has been no pharmacognostical confirmation on it. To clarify the botanical origin of 'Jin Hae Cho', studied on the morphological and anatomical characteristics of the roots of Potentilla species growing wild in Korea i.e. Potentilla chinensis Ser., P. cryptotaeniae Maxim., P. dickinsii Fr. et Sav., P. discolor Bunge, P. fragarioides L. var. major Maxim., P. freyniana Bornm., P. kleiniana Wight et Arnott, P. paradoxa Nutt., P. yokusaiana Makino and 'Jin Hae Cho' from Korea on Korean market. As a result, it was made clear that 'Jin Hae Cho' from Korea was derived from the roots of Potentilla chinensis Ser. and Potentilla discolor Bunge.

Experimental and theoretical study of the non-planar response motions of a circular cantilever beam subject to base harmonic excitation has been presented in this paper work. Theoretical research is conducted using two non-linear coupled integral-differential equations of motion. These equations contain cubic linearities due do curvature term and inertial term. A combination of the Galerkin procedure and the method of multiple scales are used to construct a first-order uniform expansion for the case of one-to-one resonance. The results show that the non-linear geometric terms are very important for the low-frequency modes of the first and second mode. The non-linear inertia terms are also important for the high-frequency modes. We present the quantitative and qualitative results for non-planar motions of the dynamic behavior.

Purpose This study discusses the contradictory behavior of smart-phone users who consider security is important, but they do not follow the security recommendations. We found through literature research that this contradictory behavior is resulted from a low level of efficacy. Design/methodology/approach Research hypotheses were set based on Extended Parallel Process Model, Control Theory, and Self Efficacy Mechanism. The data were collected from undergraduate students. Total of 178 data were used for the analysis. Findings Results of the analysis, first, showed that the relationship between threat and security attitude varies with the level of coping efficacy. Second, showed that the relationship between threat and fear does not vary with the level of coping efficacy. Both the groups with high coping efficacy and low coping efficacy had a statistically significant effect on the relationship between threat and fear.

기술의 발전에 따라 첨단무기체계인 군용항공기는 전투임무 수행시 내장형소프트웨어(Embedded Software)를 통해 기체내의 항공전자 장치, 항법장치, 조종장치 등의 물리적 기계적 움직임을 제어하고 있으며, 내장형 소프트웨어의 비율은 점점 증가하고 있다. 기체의 물리적 기계적 움직임이 내장형 소프트웨어에 의해 제어 되기 때문에 군용항공기의 전투능력 보존과 국방 목적의 수행을 위해선 먼저 내장형 소프트웨어 고유의 특성을 만족하고, 나아가 소프트웨어 안전성, 신뢰성, 보안성을 확보하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 설계 단계에서 스케줄성에 대해 정형검증 하여, 내장형 소프트웨어의 실시간성, 결정성, 생존성을 보증하고, 이러한 과정을 통해 전체적인 소프트웨어 안전성, 신뢰성, 보안성을 향상시키는 방안을 연구하며, 추가로 2011년 발표된 항공 소프트웨어 표준인 DO-178C에서 요구하는 정형검증을 적용한 국내 감항인증 표준 제정의 확대방안을 연구한다.

저 전력 마이크로 프로세서와 무선 통신 모듈, 통합된 시스템 장치들을 내장한 센서 노드를 이용하여 구축 된 센서 네트워크는 동작환경과 구조가 특이하며 시스템 설계 시 많은 제약 조건들이 고려되어야 한다. 이러한 센서 네트워크의 각 노드는 센서를 이용한 정보 수집과 같은 여러 가지 응용 프로그램, 노드 간 통신, 제한된 시스템 자원을 효율적으로 관리 할 수 있는 기능들이 필요하며 이에 센서 노드를 위한 여러 가지 운영체제들이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 센서 노드를 위해 효과적이고 응용의 변화에 대처할 수 있도록 동적 재구성 기능을 지원하도록 설계된 유한 상태 머신 (finite state machine) 기반의 운영체제인 SenOS의 특징과 구현된 SenOS를 개선한 결과를 발표한다.

The pumped-storage power system is the one of the hydroelectric power systems, generating electricity with hydraulic head difference. In this system, the electricity is produced during the hours of peak demand by using water that has been pumped into an upper reservoir from a lower reservoir during the hours of low demand. Generally, the system consists of an under-ground power house and tunnels such as the headrace, pressure, and tailrace tunnels. The Chungsong pumped-storage power station is the sixth one In the pumped-storage power station in Korea. Both the regional self-government and the population of chungsong -Goon had made a great effort to draw this power station construction into this area. The proposed Chungsong pumped-power station construction project was accepted by the central government as a part of the national electricity plan for the first time in Korea.

Forme fruste choledochal cyst (FFCC) is one of the diverse types of choledochal cyst with little or no dilatation of the extrahepatic bile duct (EHBD). It is considered that FFCC has to do with the pancreatobiliary malunion (PBM). In children, 3 to 6 millimeters of EHBD is assumed to be normal. Even though there is no clear-cut definition, FFCC is likely to be associated with bile duct dilatation less than 10 millimeters. Almost all cases have PBMs and symptoms of the pancreatitis or cholangitis. We experienced a case of FFCC in a 4-year-old boy. His EHBD measures 10 mm diameter. He had symptoms of pancreatitis and elevated hepatic transaminases. The pancreatobiliary common channel was 28 millimeters. He underwent EHBD resection and Roux-en-Y hepaticojejunostomy and was discharged with no specific complications.

The major object of this paper is to propose a nonlinear finite element analysis(FEA) technique of steel coupling beams-wall connections governed panel shear failure using ABAQUS. Detailed finite element models are created by studying the monotonic load response of the designed steel coupling beams-wall connections. The developed models account for the effect of material inelasticity, concrete cracking, panel shear failure and geometric nonlinearity. In order to verify the proposed FEA model, this study attended experiment considered parameters to the steel beam : face bearing plates, and horizontal ties. And the analytical result attended by the proposed FEA model validated through comparisons with the experimental results. Finally, the study estimated the analytical values compared with ASCE Design Guidelines. At this time, the analysis showed good agreement between the theoretical and experimental results.
