N-Channel polysilicon MOSFETs (W/L=20/1.5, 3, 5.10\ulcorner) were fabricated using RTP (Rapid Thermal Processor) and hydrogen passivation. The N+ source, drain and gate were annealed and recrystallized using RTP at temperature of 1000\ulcorner-1100\ulcorner. But the active areas were not specially crystallized before growing the gate oxide. Without the hydrogen passivarion, excellent transistor characteristics (ON/OFF=5.10**6, S=85MV/DEC, IL=51pA/\ulcorner) were obtained for 1.5\ulcorner MOSFET. Also the transistor characteristics were improved by hydrogen passivation.

The TFTs from ZnO semiconductor with hafnium oxide dielectrics were prepared by atomic layer deposition to characterize the electrical properties. Good electrical properties of oxide TFT was obtained with channel mobility of $2.1\;cm^2/Vs$, threshold voltage of 0 V, the subthreshold slope of 0.9 V/dec, and on to off current ratio of $10^6$.

Fibre to the home (FTTH) in KOREA has grown rapidly in recent years. The number of FTTH subscribers exceeded 6.6 millions by end of DEC 2008. It seems that FTTH has moved from the initial, the growth stage to the mature stage. Some design techniques have been developed in order to construct the access network effectively for the mature stage. This paper deal with design, construction and maintenance of optical fibre access networks immediately, effectively and economically.

The manufactured pulsed power system with 500kA current is described in this paper. The capacitor bank, control cabinent, dec charging unit, closing switch and dumping box, cable system etc. employed with the system components are described. Especially the development of the inverse pinch switch controlled by gas puffing enabled the generation of the very high voltage and current.

This study was conducted to find out the indoor radon concentrations from Jan. 1, to Dec. 31, 1995 in Seoul, and the following results were achieved; 1. The average concentration of indoor radon ranged from $0.51pCi/\ell$ to $0.78pCi/\ell$. 2. The correlation coefficients(r) of radon concentration and indoor meteorological conditions were as follows; 1) temperature : r=0.11 2) atmospheric pressure : r= -0.01 3) humidity : r=0.227.

With injection-type source delivery system of atomic layer deposition (ALD), bottom-contact and bottom-gate thin-film transistors (TFTs) were fabricated with a poly-4-vinyphenol polymeric dielectric for the first time. The properties of the ZnO TFT were greatly influenced by the device structure and the process conditions. The zinc oxide TFTs exhibited a channel mobility of 0.43 $cm^2$/Vs, a threshold voltage of 0.85 V, a subthreshold slope of 3.30 V/dec, and an on-to-off current ratio of above $10^6$ with solid saturation.

LP레코더의 음향 특성은 기록과 재생 방법에 따라 달라지며 공학적 기준 설정이 어렵다. 본 연구는 LP 레코더와 카트리지의 관계로부터 주파수 특성을 분석하고 LP 레코더 특성의 모의 장치를 구현하였다. 카트리지에 의해 나타나는 주파수 특성은 차단 주파수 12[kHz] 부근에서 부족 댐핑을 보이며 이후 약 - 80[dB/dec]로 감소하게 된다. 4차 체비세프 필터를 이용하여 모의 장치를 구성하고 CD 음원의 소리를 모의장치에 통과시켜 LP 레코더와 유사한 음향을 재현하였다. 12[kHz]로 대역 제한된 사운드가 20[kHz] 대역 보다 우수한 음장감을 나타내었다.

CAD 프레임워크는 다양한 CAD 툴들의 이용법을 사용자 관점에서 통합하여 사용의 편이성과 설계 작업의 생산성을 높이고 CAD 시스팀 관리의 효율성을 높이고자 창안된 개념이다. 본 고에서는 CAD 프레임워크의 개념과 기능, 구성과 DEC 의 Power Frame을 예로 한 프레임워크의 형태와 발전 현황, 그리고 표준화 동향과 제 4세대 프레임워크를 중심으로 한 앞으로의 전망에 대해 살펴본다.

1Kbit DRAM, 최초의 마이크로프로세서 Intel 4004가 1970년대 처음으로 세상에 나온지 약 30년이 경과되었다. 4004는 4비트 프로세서로 집적 트랜지스터 수 2,300개, 동작 주파수 750KHz, 16핀으로 내장되었다. 이 시점에서 누가 현재의 고성능 프로세서의 출현을 예측이나 했을까 4비트에는 있는데, 하나의 프로세서가 한개의 침에 탑재되어 실용화되어, 원칩 프로세서가 스타트를 끊었던 것이다. 오늘날의 DEC Alpha21264에는 1,520만개의 트랜지스터를 집적해서 600Mhz 587핀으로 내장되었다. 이러한 발전의 원동력은 반도체 집적회로의 기술의 비약적인 발전은 물론, 계산기 아키텍처, 컴파일러, OS등을 완수하는 역할도 대단히 크다. 본 원고에서는 주로 1990년대의 계산기 아키텍처의 변천을 살펴보고 향후 10년의 발전을 전망하려 한다.
