2단 3상 PWM AC/DC 컨버터를 이용한 동기발전기 여자제어시스템 (A Study on Excitation System for Synchronous Generator Using Two State Three Phase PWM AC/DC Converter)

  • 동기발전기의 출력전압은 여자 시스템의 계자 전류 제어에 의해 일정하게 유지된다. 현재 대부분의 발전기 여자기의 여자전류제어를 위해 사용되는 AVR 시스템의 AC/DC 컨버터 부는 출력전압 제어가 가능한 위상제어 컨버터나 출력전압을 제어할 수 없는 다이오드 정류기와 DC/DC 컨버터를 결합하여 사용하고 있다. AC/DC 전력 변환장치로서 위상제어 컨버터나 출력전압을 제어할 수 없는 다이오드 정류기의 경우, AVR시스템의 전력을 공급하는 모선의 역률저하 및 저차 고조파 발생의 문제점을 야기 시키게 된다. 본 논문에서는 동기발전기의 여자전류 제어를 위해 사용되는 AVR 시스템 설계에 있어 단위역률 동작이 가능한 Boost형 AC/DC 컨버터와 모선의 부하변동에 속응성 있게 동작할 수 있는 전류 제어형 Buck 컨버터를 결합한 2단 3상 PWM AC/DC 컨버터에 대해 연구하였다. 제안된 AC/DC 컨버터를 시뮬레이션 한 결과 Boost 컨버터의 경우 단위 역률 동작 및 출력 DC 전압의 Boost 동작이 원할히 이루어졌으며, Buck 컨버터의 경우 다른 위상제어 컨버터에 비해 응답시간이 개선되었음을 알 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents a novel single-stage high frequency resonant inverter link type DC-DC converter using zero voltage switching with high input power factor. The proposed high frequency resonant converter integrates half-bridge boost rectifier as power factor corrector (PFC) and half-bridge resonant converter into a single stage. The input stage of the half-bridge boost rectifier is working in discontinuous conduction mode(DCM) with constant duty cycle and variable switching frequency. So that boost converter make the line current follow naturally the sinusoidal line voltage waveform. Experimental results have demonstrated the feasibility of the proposed DC-DC converter. This proposed converter will be able to be practically used as a power supply in various fields as induction heating applications, DC-DC converter etc.

  • For electric traction using a large power converter, harmonic problem in the p-ower quality and regenerating energy in side of efficiency are important. Recently, by advance in power electronics technology, some countries are considering regenerative inverter from the points of view. when the electric tractions are stopped or driven through the falling slope way, it is very useful to supply surplus energy to the power source by regenerating system in the efficient side of energy and it is very economical. these regenerating energy are supported electrical equipment through DC line. In this research, the purposes are suppressing extra DC-line voltage and saving energy generated while electric traction is been driving on the falling slope way or reducing speed for railway using a 1500V DC-voltage. Besides, the accompanied defects of current distortion, low power factor and the voltage unbalance will be solved by developing the algorism of inverter having ability to compensate current harmonic.

  • A technique to suppress the low frequency ripple voltage of the DC output in three phase buck diode rectifiers is presented in this paper. The proposed pulse frequency modulation methods and duty ratio modulation methods are employed to regulate the output voltage of the buck diode rectifiers and guarantee zero-current -switching(ZCS) of the switch over the wide load range The proposed control methods used in this paper provide generally good performance such as low THD of the input line current and unity power factor. IN addition control methods can be effectively used to suppress the low frequency ripple voltage appeared in the dc output voltage. The harmonic injection technique illustrates its validity and effectiveness through the simulations.

  • This paper presents a new voltage/current mixed method for driving synchronous rectifiers (SR) adapted to the flyback topology. The synchronous rectifier driven by the proposed voltage/current mixed method can operate at a wide load range with high efficiency. The gate voltage of MOSFET in the synchronous rectifier can be easily controlled by changing the ratio of resistors, irrespective of a line and load fluctuation. A 200W (12V/17A) prototype converter was built and an efficiency of 93% was measured at 10A load current.

  • 本 論文은 PWM(Pulse Width Modulation)인버어터의 스위칭作用에 의해서 發生하는 高周波 影響을 最小化하기 위한 Suboptimal PAWM(Pulse Amplitude Width Modulation)을 提示하였다. 本 方式은 Suboptimal PWM에서 THD(Total Harmonic Distorition)가 最小가 되는 固定點(基本波 電壓 u1=1.2)에서 하나의 스위칭패턴을 決定하였다. 그리고 電壓은 DC Link에서 DC Chopper에 의해 制御하게 하고 인버어터에서는 단지 高周波만을 制御하도록 하였다. 本 方式은 3相 誘導電動機의 VSD(Variable Speed Drive)에 適用하여 電動機의 騷音, 인버어터의 線間電壓 및 電流, 電流高周波 스펙트럼을 測定하였으며, 他 方式과 比較해 보았다. 그 結果로부터 本 方式의 妥當性을 立證할 수 있었다.

  • This paper describes a cause of fire accidents on power system for DC electric traction vehicles. We investigated fire scene of power line for DC electric traction vehicles. From analysis results, the cause of fire on power line turned out line to ground fault between a feeder of electric power services(pantagraph) and DC electric traction vehicle roof. Fire accidents of DC electric traction vehicles be assumed that electric sparks had been produced between the pantagraph and the power line conductor by repetitively making contact and separation, maybe if some material like branches get in between connecting rod it make progress line to ground fault. ZnO arresters are widely used to protect DC electric traction vehicles against overvoltages caused by lightning or switching surges. However, the arresters are deteriorated by commercial frequency overvoltages and/or lightning one. Deteriorated arresters could lead power failures, such as line to ground fault by a thermal runaway resulting from the increases in leakage current even in a nominal power system voltage. The power failures, such as line to ground fault would be causative of the fire accidents.

  • The three-phase diode rectifier with a capacitive filter is highly sensitive to line voltage unbalance, and may cause significantly unbalanced line currents even under slightly unbalanced voltage condition. This paper presents an analysis of this 'unbalance amplification' effect for an ideal rectifier circuit without ac-and dc-side inductors. The voltage unbalance is modeled by introducing a deviation voltage superimposed on balanced three-phase line voltages. With proper approximations, closed-form expressions for symmetrical components of the line current and current unbalance factor are derived in terms of the voltage unbalance factor, filter reactance, and load current. The validity of analytical predictions is confirmed by simulation.

  • Generally, brushless DC motor(BLDCM) driving system uses hall sensors or encoders as the mechanical position or speed sensor. It is necessary to achieve the informations of rotor position for driving trapezoidal type brushless DC motor without any position sensor. In this paper, the commutation signals are obtained without the motor neutral voltage, multistage analog filters, A/D converters, or the complex digital phase shift circuits which are indispensable in the conventional sensorless control algorithms. In the proposed method, in stead of detecting the zero crossing point of the nonexcited motor back electromagnetic force for the average motor terminal to neutral voltage, the commutation signal are extracted directly from the specific average line to line voltage with low-pass filter, adder and comparators circuit. In contrast to conventional methods, the neutral voltage is not need; therefore, the commutation signals are insensitive to the common mode noise. Moreover, the complex phase shift circuit can be eliminated. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through simulation results.

  • Fuel cell system needs DC-AC conversion inverter system because its output is DC. And the inverter system can be operated not only in stand-alone load but also in interactive mode in interactive mode, it is necessary to control active-reactive power of inverter and to synchronize inverter output voltage to power line voltage. In this paper, a 12 phase multiple VSI type GTO inverter system for fuel cell is described. Synchronization between power line voltage phase and inverter output voltage phase, and reduction of harmonics in the output voltage phase are the purpose of this inverter system. This control algorithm for the system is realized by the software method utilizing 8031AH 8bit Microprocessor.
