고주파 결합 인덕터 직렬 공진형 ZCS-PFM 초퍼 제어 방식을 이용한 새로운 승압형 DC-DC 컨버터 (A Novel Boost DC-DC Converter using High Frequency Coupled Inductor Series Resonant ZCS-PFM Chopper Control Method)

  • This paper proposes a new non-isolated DC conversion circuit topology of the voltage source coupled inductor series resonant high-frequency PFM controlled boost chopper type DC-DC power converter using two in one IGBT power module, which can efficiently operate under a principle of zero current soft switching for wide output regulation voltage setting ranges and wide fluctuation of the input DC side voltage as well as the load variation ranges. Its steady state operating principle and the output voltage regulation characteristics in the open-loop-based output voltage control scheme without PI controller loop are described and evaluated from theoretical and experimented viewpoints. Finally, in this paper the computer-aided simulation steady-state analysis and the experimental results are presented in order to prove the effectiveness and the validity of voltage regulation characteristics of the proposed series resonant zero current soft switching boost chopper type DC-DC power converter circuit using IGBTs which is based on simple pulse frequency modulation strategy more than, 20kHz.

  • 기존의 하드 스위칭 고주파 PWM DC-DC 컨버터는 펄스 변조 캐리어 주파수의 고주파화를 수반하고, 전력용 반도체 스위칭 소자의 스위칭 손실의 증대나 스위칭 과도현상이 수반된 전압 서지나 전류 서지에 의한 EMI 등의 문제점들이 있다. 이러한 문제를 효과적으로 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 새로운 소용량 승압형 PWM 쵸퍼 회로의 동작원리를 서술하고, 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 특성을 도출하였다.

  • In this paper proposed a new analysis method that can be controlled DC separately excited motor using DC chopper. An analysis method can be broadly divided the state variables method and the state space averaging method. The state variable method is largely used for analysis method in the time area, but it is complicated analysis of the nonlinear circuit and modeling of the system. Therefore a boundary of the current continuous mode and discontinuous mode can be definited by the state space averaging method. Also this paper proposed a new approximation analysis method using state space averaging method in the discontinuous mode.

  • In this paper, the authors describe the equivalent circuit for a DC motor in consideration of both magnetic saturation and armature reaction phenomena. To develop DC motor model in PSPICE is to eliminate the gap between drive electronics and models of driven machine. On the basis of these results the dynamic characteristics of a MOSFET chopper controlled DC series motor are investigated by PSPICE simulation and experiment.

  • In a utility interactive photovoltaic system, a PWM inverter is used for the connection between the photovoltaic arrays and the utility. The DC current becomes pulsated causes the distortion of the AC current waveform. This paper presents the reduced pulsation of DC input current by operating the inverter with buck-boost chopper in the discontinuous conduction mode. The DC current with contains harmonics component is analyzed by means of separating into two terms of a ripple component and a direct component. The constant DC current without pulsation is supplied from photovoltaic array to the inverter. The proposed inverter system provide a sinusoidal AC current for domestic loads and the utility line with unity power factor.

  • 엔진 및 회전기기의 진동은 선체의 피로도를 증가시켜 내구성을 저하시키는 원인이 된다. 이를 방지하기 위하여 엔진 및 회전기기와 선체사이에는 댐퍼를 부착하여 진동을 최소화 하고 있다. 일반적으로 선박에 부착하는 댐퍼는 수동형 댐퍼로 중 고주파의 특정 진동영역에 대하여 제진 특성을 갖도록 설계되어있지만 저주파영역에서는 그 효과를 기대하기 힘들다. 이에 본 연구에서는 보다 광대역의 진동신호에 대해 높은 제진특성을 얻기 위하여 VCM을 이용한 능동형 제진 장치를 개발하였다. 제진장치를 제어하기 위해 라우스휴리츠 안정조건과 한계감도법을 이용하여 PID제어기를 구성하였고, 제어기 출력은 2상한과 4상한 초퍼회로를 이용하여 VCM을 구동할 수 있도록 하였다. 시뮬레이션과 실제 실험을 통하여 제어알고리즘과 제어장치의 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, authors propose a novel step-up AC-DC chopper operated with power factor correction (PFC) and with high efficiency. The proposed chopper behaves with discontinuous current control (DCC) of input current. The input current waveform in the proposed chopper is got to be a discontinuous sinusoid form in proportion to magnitude of ac input voltage under the constant duty cycle switching. Therefore, the input power factor is nearly unity and the control method is simple. In the general DCC chopper, the switching devices are turned-on with the zero current switching, but turn-off of the switching devices is switched at current maximum value. To achieve a soft switching of the switching turn-off, the proposed chopper is used a new partial resonant circuit. The result is that the switching loss is very low and the efficiency of chopper is high.

고효율 절연형 DC-DC 초퍼의 특성해석 (Performance Analysis of High Efficiency DC-DC Chopper added in Electric Isolation)

  • This paper is analyzed for DC-DC chopper performance of high efficiency added in electric isolation. The general converters of high efficiency are made that the power loss of the used switching devices is minimized. To achieve high efficiency system, the proposed chopper is constructed by using a partial resonant circuit. The control switches using in the chopper are operated with soft switching for a partial resonant method. The control switches are operated without increasing their voltage and current stresses by the soft switching technology. The result is that the switching loss is very low and the efficiency of chopper is high. And the proposed chopper is added in a electric isolation. When the power conversion system is required to electric isolation, the proposed chopper is adopted with system development of high efficiency. The soft switching operation and the system efficiency of the proposed chopper is verified by digital simulation and experimental results.

단상 센서리스 PFC 컨버터의 직류출력전압 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on DC output voltage control of single-phase senseless PFC converter)

  • 일반적인 단상 PFC 컨버터는 직류전압을 일정한 기준값으로 제어할 수 있으나 시스템의 구성상 직류전압과 교류전압 및 전류등을 검출하여 제어하기 때문에 전체적으로 제어 시스템이 복잡하고, 가격이 비싸며, 신속성등의 문제점들이 대두되어지고 있다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 센서리스 PFC 컨버터 회로를 제안하여 교류 전압파형 검출만으로 전체 시스템을 간단하게 제어하였다. 그리고 초퍼회로에서 제어된 전압량 Kd(Ed/Ea)에 의해서 직류출력전압을 직접적으로 제어하였으며, 직류출력전압의 변동율이 회로의 파라미터에 따른 변화의 특징에 대해서 서술하였다. 이러한 모든 사항아느 실험을 통하여 타당성을 증명하였다.

  • A DC-DC converter is being widely used for various household appliances and for industry applications. The DC-DC converter is powered from single battery, and the voltage is varied according to the purpose. In the vehicle, various accessories whose electric power is different are being used. Thus, plural number of DC-DC converter should be provided, so these situations bring complicated circuits, and accordingly, higher cost. Under such backgrounds, in this paper, we propose a novel buck-boost chopper circuit with simply configuration which can supply to two or more different output loads. The propose chewer circuit can control output voltages by controlling duty ratio by using typically two switching devices, which is composed by single boost-switch and single buck-switch. The output voltage can be controlled widely. A few modified circuits developed from the fundamental circuit are represented including the general multi-load circuit. And all this merits and appropriateness was proved by computer simulation and experience.
