Consumer demand for high quality image/video services led to growing trend in image quality enhancement study. Therefore, recent years was a period of substantial progress in this research field. Through careful observation of the image quality after processing by image enhancement algorithms, we perceived that the dark region in the image usually suffered loss of contrast to a certain extent. In this paper, the low-light stretch preprocessing algorithm is, hence, proposed to resolve the aforementioned issue. The proposed approach is evaluated qualitatively and quantitatively against the well-known histogram equalization and Photoshop curve adjustment. The evaluation results validate the efficiency and superiority of the low-light stretch over the benchmarking methods. In addition, we also propose the 255MHz-capable hardware implementation to ease the process of incorporating low-light stretch into real-time imaging systems, such as aerial surveillance and monitoring with drones and driving aiding systems.

In this paper, we introduce a new design of fuzzy neural networks using input-output data information of target system. The proposed fuzzy neural networks is constructed by input-output data information and used the center of data distance by HCM clustering to obtain the characteristics of data. A membership function is defined by HCM clustering and is applied input-output dat included each rule to conclusion polynomial functions. We use triangular membership functions and simplified fuzzy inference, linear fuzzy inference, and modified quadratic fuzzy inference in conclusion. In the networks learning, back propagation algorithm of network is used to update the parameters of the network. The proposed model is evaluated with benchmark data.

The purpose of this study is to explain changes in the mode of labor brought abut with the advance of information society and to suggest policies for the success of teleworking. It is likely that more and more people in advanced countries will be involved in some form of teleworking office workers use computers for handling dat, which is then transmitted over a telecommunications like to client or employer located some distance away. Though teleworking is becoming populer rapidly, it still has many problems to solve. In the conclusion, the paper suggests some measures to be taken for a successful teleworking system. (1) The first step is to establish a special team for the teleworking pilot. And probably the telework center will be most useful type for the pilot. (2) Some protections for teleworkers should be designed against discrimination in employment and occupation. (3) Some institutional arrangements such as tax benefits and incentive system are required for the success of teleworking system. (4) Maintaining competitiveness-faster services and lower cost-should be the first priority. (5) There should be a retraining and education system in the national level for the teleworkers to learn new IT applications.

Printing technology is a very useful method in the several process of industrial fabrication due to noncontact and fast pattern generation. To make micro pattern, we investigate the electrostatic induced inkjet printer head for micro droplet generation and drop-on-demand jetting. In order to achieve the drop-on-demand micro droplet ejection by the electrostatic induced inkjet printer head, the pulsed DC voltage is supplied. In order to find optimal pulse conditions, we tested jetting performance for various bias and pulse voltages for drop-on-demand ejection. In this result, we have successful drop-on-demand operation and micro patterning. Therefore, our novel electrostatic induced inkjet head printing system will be applied industrial area comparing conventional printing technology.

As the increasing demand of the radio wave communication and teh progreessing of communication system, the radio interference of neighbor nations is rising in the improtant matter. This problem is a delicate matter which must be dealt diplomatically with by having a distinct technical basis. For our country, after the radio interference has been occurred in TRS service on the south seashore due to the base stations located at Fukuoka in Japan, the radio interference problem of neighbor nations has risen importantly. In this paper, therefore, we has measured the radio wave that reach from Fukuoka in Japan to Pusan in Korea and also collected dat by real-time.

A retrieval performance of VOD sever is estimated by how quickly it services popular videos to users and how many users it is able to service. Each video data is placed on heterogeneous disks and placement techniques are various, retrieval performance is under the control of these elements, so that a retrieval performance is affected by placement policy. In this paper, we place video data considering their characteristics, especially, we place videos distributively according to their popularity. To verify our policy, we make various environment of experiment, estimate a placement policy using popularity of videos and a contrary policy, and compare them.

This paper deals with conversion from STL file to Slice cross-sectional information for Stereolithography. The STL file consist of three vertices of triangle and normal vectors in order to represent three dimension shape, but It is very difficult to convert STL file intoSlice file directly, because of file size from one Mbyte to tens of Mbytes. So, The system is accomplished data flow such as neutral.dat, .SL1, .SL2, .SL3, and .SLC file. The data processing is as follows: 1. Create a neutral file including common information. 2. Modify STL file within effective scope of SLA. 3. Calculate a point of intersection between plane equation and line equation. 4. Sort z values by increasing order. 5. Search closed loop by method of singlylinked linear list. The system is developed by using Borland C++ 3.1 compiler in the environment of Pentium PC. We get a satisfactory prototype as a result of application about a lot of household electrical appliances.

Youngia koidzumiana is an endemic plant growing in Mt. Chiri. In our ongoing research for endemic species in Korea, we investigated the chemical constituents from the MeOH extract of Y. koidzumiana whole plants. The MeOH extract was partitioned with hexane, ethyl acetate and BuOH, successively. Four known compounds were isolated from ethyl acetate fraction by repeated column chromatography. Their structures were elucidated by the physicochemical and spectral data as germanicol acetate (1), oleanolic acid (2), brachynereolide (3) and ixerin Y (4).

Phytochemical study on the ethanol extract of a Crinum species by bioassay-guided fractionation resulted in the isolation of an active principle, which was determined as parthenin (1) on the basis of physicochemical and spectroscopic analyses. This is the first report on the existence of a sesquiterpenoid from Crinum ensifolium. Compound 1 was found to show strong cytotoxic activity against some cancer cell lines and strongly inhibit NF-${\kappa}$B activity with the $IC_{50}$ value of 1.82 ${\mu}M$.

We concluded to analysis the air condition of city area in the Chungbuk province by pollutant concentration and weather survey data to used from the data of Air Pollution Monitoring System until September in 2002 from 1998. The results of this study is to prove out the pollutional phenomena and effects in the each area of Cheong-ju & Je-cheon city and to provide the basic data of comfortable environmental condition in the province. Also, we provide environmental statistical dat for the inhabitants in the province as the present condition analysis of air pollution. We got the conclusion of having air condition as clear state in Chungbuk Province from our analytical results.
