  • Estimating the locations of workers in a shipyard is beneficial for a variety of applications such as selecting potential forwarders for transferring data in IoT services and quickly rescuing workers in the event of industrial disasters or accidents. In this work, we propose a human movement stream processing system for estimating worker locations in shipyards based on Apache Spark and TensorFlow serving. First, we use Apache Spark to process location data streams. Then, we design a worker location prediction model to estimate the locations of workers. TensorFlow serving manages and executes the worker location prediction model. When there are requirements from clients, Apache Spark extracts input data from the processed data for the prediction model and then sends it to TensorFlow serving for estimating workers' locations. The worker movement data is needed to evaluate the proposed system but there are no available worker movement traces in shipyards. Therefore, we also develop a mobility model for generating the workers' movements in shipyards. Based on synthetic data, the proposed system is evaluated. It obtains a high performance and could be used for a variety of tasksin shipyards.

  • Stepping into the technological boom time, Vietnam has integrated into the trends of using Fintech applications as a new means of payment. This article evaluates the relationship between perceived security (including service security and platform security), knowledge, confirmation, perceived usefulness, satisfaction, attitude and lastly enterprise's images regarding the service and continuous intention to use Fintech services. The survey results of 352 Vietnamese customers using Fintech services, reliability test and extended post-acceptance model (EPAM) which is based on PAM and ECT models. From the survey, we further found out that perceived security (BSS) has no direct impact on continued intention to use, while perceived security (BSS) has positive impact on confirmation (CON), similarly, perceived usefulness (PU) and user's satisfaction (SES). Knowledge of the Mobile Fintech payment service (KNOW) has a positive impact on perceived security (BSS). Confirmation (CON) has a positive influence on perceived usefulness but in the meanwhile it has created a negative impact on user's satisfaction (SES). From the survey it can also tell that user's attitude (ATT) and enterprise image (IMG) both have a positive impact on continual intention to use Fintech services. From the research results, we also propose some recommendation to enhance the continual intention to use Fintech services in Vietnam.

  • Detecting anomalies in human movement is an important task in industrial applications, such as monitoring industrial disasters or accidents and recognizing unauthorized factory intruders. In this paper, we propose an abnormal worker movement detection system based on data stream processing and hierarchical clustering. In the proposed system, Apache Spark is used for streaming the location data of people. A hierarchical clustering-based anomalous trajectory detection algorithm is designed for detecting anomalies in human movement. The algorithm is integrated into Apache Spark for detecting anomalies from location data. Specifically, the location information is streamed to Apache Spark using the message queuing telemetry transport protocol. Then, Apache Spark processes and stores location data in a data frame. When there is a request from a client, the processed data in the data frame is taken and put into the proposed algorithm for detecting anomalies. A real mobility trace of people is used to evaluate the proposed system. The obtained results show that the system has high performance and can be used for a wide range of industrial applications.

  • Immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA) is autoimmune disease which is anemia caused by own immune system destroying the red blood cells (RBC). It can be diagnosed with spherocytosis, positive auto-agglutination of RBCs and direct antiglobulin test (DAT, Coomb's test). The treatment for IMHA are blood transfusion, immunosuppressive agents including glucocorticoids and other supportive therapies. Danazol is synthetic androgen that has effect of interfering the autoimmune reaction to RBCs. It can be used as an adjunctive agent in addition to glucocorticoids. To investigate its effectiveness, the medical records of 10 IMHA-diagnosed dogs were evaluated. All subjects were treated with blood transfusion, prednisolone, mycophenolate mofetil, and intravenous human immunoglobulin G. Additionally, 6 subjects were administered with danazol and 4 subjects were not. The results of initial blood examination and responses to the treatment for IMHA were compared between the groups. There were significant differences in the number of blood transfusions; once in group with danazol, twice in group without danazol, duration of recovery to normal hematocrit; 7.67±3.08 days in group with danazol, 22.00±5.66 days in group without danazol, and hospitalization; 5.17±0.75 days in group with danazol, 12.75±2.22 days in group without danazol. Therefore, danazol has potential effective on treating IMHA for rapid improvement.
