  • 본 논문은 딱지본의 2D 이미지를 사용하여 3D 버츄얼 스페이스를 제작한 작품에 관한 글이다. 가상 공간에서 현실과 같은 활동이 활발히 이루어지고 있는 최근의 사회 현상에 관심을 두고, 딱지본의 이미지를 차용하여 과거의 낭만적인 시대를 여행하는 듯한 버츄얼 스페이스를 구현해 보았다. 이 작품은 포토샵 편집 과정을 거친 2D 이미지 파일들과 구글 3D 지도를 캡쳐하여 단계적 변환을 거친 3D 이미지 파일로 구성된다. 편집과 변환 과정을 거친 2D 와 3D 파일은 언리얼 엔진을 기반으로 화면에 배치하고 조합하여 버츄얼 스페이스를 제작한다. 2D 레트로 컨텐츠와 3D 가상 공간의 융합은 작품 제작에 있어 다양한 아이디어를 제공하고 새로운 표현 방식으로 확장 할 수 있는 가능성을 보여준다.

A Comparative Analysis of increased along with the age presbyopic additions in city and island villages (도시와 섬마을 노안의 연령에 따른 근용 가입도의 비교 관찰)

  • This study examines how the average presbyopic additions and eye refraction state of old ages in city may be different to that island. There were 677 of the old who were 50 or over 90 in the sample. The visual acuity test was done by objective and subjective methods and used for near-chart program. The far-point refraction state and power of the additions lens results were as follows ; 1. Of far-point refraction state in city peoples; male: emmetropia 10%, myopia 17%, hyperopia 19%, mixed astigmatism 38%, etc. 16% female : emmetropia 20%, myopia 20%, hyperopia 20%, mixed astigmatism 27%, etc. 13% 2. Of far-point refraction state in island villages ; male : emmetropia 13%, myopia 17%, hyperopia 22%, mixed astigmatism 40%, etc. 8% female : emmetropia 7%, myopia 13%, hyperopia 26%, mixed astigmatism 44%, etc. 10% 3. Average presbyopic additions states has been presented no discrimination ; male: 50 to 60 : +1.25 or +1.50D, 61 to 65 : +1.75 or + 2.00D, 66 to 70 : +2.25 or +2.50D 71 to 75 : +2.75 or +3.00D, 76 to 80 : +3.25 or +3.50D, over81 : +3.75D female : 50 to 60 : +1.25 or + 1.50D, 61 to 65 : +1.75 or + 2.00D, 66 to 70 : +2.25 or +2.50D 71 to 75 : +2.25 or + 2.50D, 76 to 80 : +2.75 or +3.00D, over81 : +2.75 or +3.00D 4. Under the condition of wearing lens, the average working time was 1 or 2 hour but some people used over 5 hours. 5. Generally, it has been investigated the old ages peoples has ocular diseases and cataract was the most common.

A Study for the Refractive Error in Middle and High School Pupils on the Basis of Their Glasses Power (안경도수를 근거로 한 중·고등학생의 굴절이상에 관한 연구)

  • This research reviewed that 83 male subjects. 89 female subjects of middle and high school visited D Optical shop at the downtown of Daegu more than twice from January, 1999 to January, 2003 and obtained the following results by using the visual acuity prescription of them for which D Optical shop was keeping. 1. The classification of correction power for 190 myopia eyes was examined (87 male eyes, 103 female eyes) showed 89 eyes(46.82%) between $0.25D{\leq}3.00D$, 86 eyes(45.26%) between $3.25D{\leq}6.00D$, 15 eyes(7.89%) for over 6.25D. 2. The kind of 154 astigmatism subjects(79 male eyes, 75 female eyes) was direct astigmatism 83.77%, reverse astigmatism 11.69%, oblique astigmatism 4.55%. The cylindrical correction power for astigmatic eyes was 61 eyes(39.61%) between $0.25D{\leq}0.50D$, 60 eyes(38.96%) between 0.50D<1.00D, 121 eyes(78.57%) for less than 1.06D, 6 eyes(0.65%) for over 3.00D. 3. The variation of spherical power showed 161 eyes(46.80%) between $0.00D{\leq}0.50D$, 109 eyes(31.69%) between $0.51D{\leq}1.00D$, 17 eyes(4.94%) for over 2.01D variation. 4. The variation of astigmatic power showed 92 eyes(59.74%) between $0.00D{\leq}0.50D$, 39 eyes(25.32%) between $0.26D{\leq}0.50D$, 10eyes (6.49%) between $0.51D{\leq}0.75D$, 13 eyes(8.44 %) for over 0.76D astigmatic variation. 5. The variation of equivalent spherical power showed 137 eyes(39.83%) between $0.00D{\leq}0.50D$, 126 eyes(36.63%) between $0.51D{\leq}1.00D$, 40 eyes(11.63%) between $1.01D{\leq}1.50D$, 21 eyes(6.10%) between $1.51D{\leq}2.00D$, 20 eyes(5.81%) for over 2.01D variation.

2D to 3D Conversion Using The Machine Learning-Based Segmentation And Optical Flow (학습기반의 객체분할과 Optical Flow를 활용한 2D 동영상의 3D 변환)

  • In this paper, we propose the algorithm using optical flow and machine learning-based segmentation for the 3D conversion of 2D video. For the segmentation allowing the successful 3D conversion, we design a new energy function, where color/texture features are included through machine learning method and the optical flow is also introduced in order to focus on the regions with the motion. The depth map are then calculated according to the optical flow of segmented regions, and left/right images for the 3D conversion are produced. Experiment on various video shows that the proposed method yields the reliable segmentation result and depth map for the 3D conversion of 2D video.

  • Active Appearance Models은 객체의 모델링에 널리 사용되며, 특히 얼굴 모델은 얼굴 추적, 포즈 인식, 표정 인식, 그리고 얼굴 인식에 널리 사용되고 있다. 최초의 AAM은 Shape과 Appearance가 하나의 계수에 의해서 만들어 지는 Combined AAM이였고, 이후 Shape과 Appearance의 계수가 분리된 Independent AAM과 3D를 표현할 수 있는 Combined 2D+3D AAM이 개발 되었다. 비록 Combined 2D+3D AAM이 3D를 표현 할 수 있을지라도 이들은 공통적으로 2D 영상을 사용하여 모델을 생산한다. 본 논문에서 우리는 stereo-camera based 3D face capturing device를 통해 획득한 3D 데이터를 기반으로 하는 3D AAM을 제안한다. 우리의 3D AAM은 3D정보를 이용해 모델을 생산하므로 기존의 AAM보다 정확한 3D표현이 가능하고 Alignment Algorithm으로 Inverse Compositional Image Alignment(ICIA)를 사용하여 빠르게 Model Instance를 생산할 수 있다. 우리는 3D AAM을 평가하기 위해 stereo-camera based 3D face capturing device로 촬영해 수집한 한국인 얼굴 데이터베이스[9]로 얼굴인식을 수행하였다.

  • 2D 게임의 이미지들은 2D 스프라이트(Sprite) 조각들을 같은 평면에 겹쳐 그리는 방식으로 표현한다. 탑다운 뷰(Top-Down View) 2D 게임 시점은 평면의 그림에 입체적인 묘사를 함으로써 캐릭터나 오브젝트가 수직으로 일어서 있는듯한 3D 느낌을 전달한다. 그러나 실제로는 2D 평면이므로 3D 그림자 맵(Shadow Map) 방식을 사용할 수 없는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 2D 스프라이트 오브젝트의 그림자를 3D 그림자맵으로 생성하는 방법과 동반되는 이슈들을 제시한다.

The Correlation between $2^{nd}$ to $4^{th}$ Digit Length Ratio and Characteristics of Temperament and Character in University Students (제2수지-제4수지 길이 비율과 기질 및 성격 특성간의 상관관계)

  • Objectives : The $2^{nd}$ to $4^{th}$ digit length(2D : 4D) ratio reflects the amount of exposure and sensitivity to the prenatal sex hormone and it is considered to be the most convenient and useful way to understand the influence of sex hormone in the determination of human behavioral traits. This study was carried out to find the correlation between the 2D : 4D ratio and characteristics of temperament and character in Korean university students. We assumed that 2D : 4D ratio would show a strong correlation with temperament which is defined to be an inclination of an automatical emotional response to a stimulus. Methods : Participants were 104 university students who completed 2 self-report measures : Temperament and Character Inventory(TCI), Temperament Test. We examined the 2D : 4D ratio of each subject by measuring the lengths of the $2^{nd}$ and $4^{th}$ fingers using a photocopy measurement. We performed statistical analyses using correlation test and t-test to examine the relationship between 2D : 4D ratio and psychological characteristics. Results : We found out the typical sex difference in 2D : 4D ratio. Women had significantly higher 2D : 4D ratio than men. TCI-Character factor(TCI-C) didn't show any significant correlation with the 2D : 4D ratio. TCI-Tempterament factor(TCI-T) and the item of Temperament Test showed a significant correlation with the 2D : 4D ratio. In correlation analysis of the total group including all women and men, the 2D : 4D ratio showed a significant positive correlation in a subscale(shyness with stranger) of harm avoidance scales in TCI-T. In correlation analysis of women's group, the 2D : 4D ratio showed a significant positive correlation in two subscales( fear of uncertainty) and[shyness to stranger] of harm avoidance scales in TCI-T. In correlation analysis of men's group, the 2D : 4D ratio showed a significant negative correlation with a sanguine temperament item of the Temperament Test. Conclusion : The results suggest that the amount of exposure to sex hormone in the prenatal period seems to have an impact on the determination of temperament and characteristics.

2,4-D Biodegradation Using Microorganism Extracted From Soil (1) (토양미생물에 의한 2, 4-D 분해에 관한 연구 (1))

  • The microbial organisms named "Pseudomonas sp. LK-14" were isolated from farm land and shallow river sediment, activated, augmented and identified; which were using 2,4-D (2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid) as a sole carbon source and energy source. 2,4-D removal efficiency of LK-14 with 2,4-D sole carbon source (reactor S) were higher than that of Activated Sludge with 2,4-D sole carbon source (reactor A). Dynamic bioligical reaction kinetic parameters (sole carbon source was 2,4-D) obtained from batch reactor experiments were ${\mu}_{max}$ $0.105hr^{-1}$, $K_{s,24D}$ 15.64mg/L, $K_{i,24D}$ $1.94h^{r-1}$, $Y_{24D}$ 0.39 for LK-14 and ${\mu}_{max}$ $0.008hr^{-1}$, $K_{s,24D}$ 26.95mg/L, $K_{i,24D}$ $1.75hr^{-1}$, $Y_{24D}$ 0.10 for Activated Sludge. Using these parameters, we could predict the behaviors of 2,4-D substrate utilized by LK-14 and Activated Sludge in batch reactors. The kinetic parameters are enable to predict the 2,4-D substrate and microbial population behavior entering into wastewater treatment plants by using unsteady states dynamic simulation modeling technique.

Method of 3D Body Surface Segmentation and 2D Pattern Development Using Triangle Simplification and Triangle Patch Arrangement (Triangle Simplification에 의한 3D 인체형상분할과 삼각조합방법에 의한 2D 패턴구성)

  • When we develop the tight-fit 2D pattern from the 3D scan data, segmentation of the 3D scan data into several parts is necessary to make a curved surface into a flat plane. In this study, Garland's method of triangle simplification was adopted to reduce the number of data point without distorting the original shape. The Runge-Kutta method was applied to make triangular patch from the 3D surface in a 2D plane. We also explored the detailed arrangement method of small 2D patches to make a tight-fit pattern for a male body. As results, minimum triangle numbers in the simplification process and efficient arrangement methods of many pieces were suggested for the optimal 2D pattern development. Among four arrangement methods, a block method is faster and easier when dealing with the triangle patches of male's upper body. Anchoring neighboring vertices of blocks to make 2D pattern was observed to be a reasonable arrangement method to get even distribution of stress in a 2D plane.

Analysis and comparison of the 2D/1D and quasi-3D methods with the direct transport code SHARK

  • The 2D/1D method has become the mainstream of the direct transport calculation considering the balance of accuracy and efficiency. However, the 2D/1D method still suffers from stability issues. Recently, a quasi-3D method has been proposed with axial Legendre expansion. Analysis and comparison of the 2D/1D and quasi-3D method is conducted in theory from the equation derivation. Besides, the C5G7 benchmark, the KUCA benchmark and the macro BEAVRS benchmark are calculated to verify the theory comparisons of these two methods with the direct transport code SHARK. All results show that the quasi-3D method has better stability and accuracy than the 2D/1D method with worse efficiency and memory cost. It provides a new option for direct transport calculation with the quasi-3D method.
