본 논문에서는 2.4GHz 및 5GHz의 이중대역에서 동작하는 I/Q 모듈레이터를 설계하였다. 광대역 믹서에 $90^{\circ}$ 위상천이기를 이용하여 quadrature 신호를 입력하여 베이스밴드 신호를 변조된 RF 신호로 출력한다. 제안한 I/Q 모듈레이터의 변환 손실은 2.4GHz에서 약 15dB이고 5.8GHz 대역에서 약 16dB이다. 사이드밴드 억압특성은 2.4GHz/5GHz에서 각각 15dBc, 16dBc이며, carrier suppression은 두 대역에서 약 40dBc이다. 또한 11Mbps 의 QPSK 신호입력시의 EVM 특성은 2.4GHz에서 약 8.5%, 5GHz에서 10% 이며, 반송파 억압은 두 대역에서 40dB 이상으로, 무선 랜 신호를 인가시 출력 스펙트럼 규격을 만족하였다.

Sexual maturity in poultry is controlled by a complex neural circuit located in the basal forebrain, which integrates the central and peripheral signals to activate hypothalamic gonadotrophin-releasing hormone (GnRH) secretion. This study demonstrated the changes of GnRH-I, POMC and NPY mRNA transcription in hypothalamus and IGF-I and leptin levels in serum of Shaoxing ducks during puberty. Body weight increased progressively from d30 to d120 and at d120 the flock reached 5% of laying rate. A significant upregulation of hypothalamic GnRH-I mRNA expression was observed from d60, reaching the peak at d120. POMC and NPY mRNA expression in hypothalamus showed a similar pattern, which increased from d30 to d60, followed by a significant decrease towards sexual maturity. Serum IGF-I levels exhibited two peaks at d30 and d120, respectively. Serum leptin displayed a single peak at d90. The results indicate that the down-regulation of POMC and NPY genes in hypothalamus coincides with the up-regulation of GnRH-I gene to initiate sexual maturation in ducks. In addition, peripheral IGF-I and leptin may relay the peripheral metabolic status to the central system and contribute to the initiation of the reproductive function in ducks.

본 연구에서는 모형의 구조가 상대적으로 간단한 구형펄스모형을 이용하여 I-D-F 곡선을 유도할 수 있는 이론적 방법론을 제시하였다. 강우모형의 구조를 고려하여 유도되는 I-D-F 곡선은 관측 강우의 1차원 및 2타원 통계 특성을 이용하여 추정된 매개변수에 의해 그 형태가 결정되므로 년최대치계열을 이용하여 추정하는 1-D-F 곡선에 비해 비정상적인 강우사상에 상대적으로 덜 민감하게 된다. 본 연구는 서울 및 인천지점에 적용되었으며 이때. 유도 된 I-D-F 곡선은 년최대치계열을 이용하여 유도된 I-D-F 곡선과 비교함으로서 그 적용성을 판단해 보았다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다: (1) 지속기간이 길어짐에 따라 중첩확률은 아주 크게 증가한다. 그러나, 중첩에 따른 강우강도의 증가정도는 지속기간이 증가함에 따라 완만하게 감소하는 추세를 나타내고 있다. (2) 중첩을 고려하는 경우, 특히 지속기간 및 재현기간이 긴 경우에, 강우강도의 증가가 두드러짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 깅 우강도의 계산 시 추정된 중첩확률과 재현기간을 함께 고려함으로 생기는 당연한 결과이다. 아울러, 서울과 인천지점의 비교에서는 서울지점의 경우가 중첩의 효과가 더욱 크게 나타나고 있음을 확인할 수 있었으며, 이는 추정된 중첩확률의 차이, 보다 궁극적으로는 구형펄스모형의 매개변수의 차이로 설명될 수 있다. (3) 본 연구에서 사용한 구형펄스 모형은 강우의 군집특성을 고려하지 못함으로 유도된 I-D-F 곡선도 전체적으로 년최대치를 이용한 I-D-F 곡선에 비해 작은 강우강도를 나타내었었다. 그러나 각 곡선의 전체적인 형태는 유사함을 확인할 수 있었으며 강우의 군집특성을 고려하는 강우모형을 사용할 경우 보다 나은 결과를 유도할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

To determine the effects of guar suksolgi on blood glucose and lipids in type-ll diabetic subjects, a piece of guar suksolgi(36.3g, 54Kcal) was administered to eight patients for 3 weeks every meal. No significant differences occured indietary intakes and body weight before and after the treatment. Fasting blood glucose levels were decreased from 132.38mg/dI to 114.75mg/dI after the treatment, but not statistically significant. Blood TG levels were increased from 159.13mg/dI to 175.00mg/dI after the treatment, but not statistically significant. Excluding one patient who had extremely high TG level, blood TG levels tended to be decreased from 148.00mg/dI to 121.00mg/dI. TC LDL-c, HDL-c levels were decreased after the treatment, but not statistically significant. HbAIC concentrations were decreased from 8.54mg/kI to 7.80mg/dI after the treatment, but not statistically significant. In the case of three patients who had had normal fasting blood glucose levels, blood glucose levels tended to be decreased at postprandial 30, 60 minutes, and blood insulin levels tended to be decreased at postprandial 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes, although none of the levels were statistically significant. Therefore, if guar suksolgi is adinistered to type-ll diabetic subjects being more hyperglycemic than our patients, their blood glucose and lipids will be decreased significantly.

Objective : This study is performed for the purpose of examining into the efficacy of the scolopendrid(Scolopendra morsitans L) which has been used among the Korean people for the H.I.V.D of lumbar spine. Methods & Results : Using the herbal acupuncture made of scolopendrid(Scolopendra morsitans L), we treated the 20 H.I.V.D patients for 1 week and operated 4 pre and post treatment test ; D.I.T.I, 6 kinds of physical test, Oswestry disability index, and self-conscious pain rate. Trough the test, we saw 43-95% of efficacy rate in each test. And all of the 7 acupuncture point in D.I.T.I, Oswestry disability index and self-conscious pain rate test showed statistically valuable change. Conclusion : We brought to the conclusion that the scolopendrid herbal acupuncture has possibility to be efficient to cure the H.I.V.D patients. So we suggest the possibility to use this new remedy for the H.I.V.D.

본 논문은 HAPS와 이동위성 시스템과의 간섭영향 분석을 HAPS 고도가 20Km와 50Km 일 때의 C/I 값을 구해 간섭 보호비를 초과하는 시간율 및 초과지속시간에 대한 평가에 대한 평가를 행하였다. 그 결과 HAPS가 Iridium 시스템에 미치는 간섭의 경우 최저 C/I 값은 HAPS 고도가 50Km일 때 20.42dB, 20Km일 때는 12.73dB로 낮아지고, 이와 반대로 Iridum 시스템이 HAPS에 미치는 간섭의 경우도 각각 13.94dB에서 10.42dB로 낮아짐을 알 수 있었다. HAPS 고도에 따른 간섭영향을 보면, 고도가 낮아질수록 강한 간섭을 주거나 받게 되며, C/I 최저값 또한 HAPS 고도에 따라 다른 시점에서 나타난다.

Electrical forming dependent current-voltage (I-V) and numerically derived differential conductance(dI／dV) characteristics have been presented in the multi-layer nano-crystalline silicon／oxygen (no-Si／O) superlattice. Distinct staircase-like features, indicating the presence of resonant tunnel barriers, are clearly observed in the dc I-V characteristics. Also, all samples showed a continuous change in current and zero conductivity around OV corresponding to the Coulomb blockade in the calculated dI／dV-V curve. Also, Ra-man scattering measurement showed the presence of a nano-crystalline Si structure. This result becomes a step in the right direction for the fabrication of silicon-based optoelectronic and quantum devices as well as for the replacement of silicon-on-insulator (SOI) in high speed and low power silicon MOSFET devices of the future.
