  • The basic principle of the product manufacturing technology using the 3D printing technique materializes the material including the high molecular substance or plastic and metallic dust, and etc. the product into the laminate additive manufacturing according to the design diagram gradually. It is applied to the various industrial field including the field of food division, field of home appliances, field of medicine, field of mechanical department and construction, etc.. The global development case of 3D printing technique is the next. This study described global technology and market trends. Afterward, 3D printing technique manages the important role when it exceeds the product manufacturing view just and is grafted with the various technology including the biotechnology, nanotechnology, and etc. and it improves the quality of the human life.

  • The purpose of this study is the stability evaluation of a vacuum pump through modal test and rotor dynamics. Eigenvalue was solved by the finite-element method(FEM) using 2D and 3D models, then the modal test result was compared with the FEM result. According to the comparison, the analysis result using the 2D was more accurate than the 3D model. Therefore, rotor dynamics was performed by the 2D model. Campbell diagram and root-locus maps, which were calculated by complex-eigenvalue analysis, were used to evaluate the stability of the rotors of the vacuum pump. And displacement solved by unbalance response analysis was compared with the minimum clearance between two rotors of the vacuum pump. Thus, the vacuum pump is assumed operated under steady state through the evaluation of the rotor dynamics.

  • In this paper, the calculation torque using the d-q axis has advantage like faster execution time. However, the torque ripple can't be considered in the torque calculation using d-q axis equivalent circuit because the time-dependent component is removed. When d-q transformation was performed, it was founded that some parameters has some characteristics. These characteristics were considered for representing torque ripple. The calculation with d-q axis transformation and Finite Element Analysis(FEA) were performed, and the results were compared. As a result, it was validated that the calculated torque can be expressed with ripple.

  • Management of the existing traffic network and understanding current traffic conditions is the most important and effective way to solve traffic congestion. This research investigates the status of Korea expressway through the Speed-Flow-Density diagram and finds the best suitable queueing model for each area. Dynamic structure in the queueing model enables us to reflect the structural change of the road in case of traffic congestion. To find the best model and estimate the parameters, we use the Newton-Raphson method. Finally, we examine the road efficiency in view of the optimal speed and density using the conditional distribution of speed and density of a S-F-D diagram.

  • Software development creates many product that class components, Class Diagram, form, object, and design pattern. So this Paper suggests Index/XML Sequence Relation information system for product abstraction and classification, the system of design product Sequence Relation abstraction which can store, reuse design patterns in the meta modeling database with pattern Relation information. This is Index/XML Sequence Relation system which can easily change various relation information of product for product abstraction and classification. This system designed to extract and classify design pattern efficiently and then functional indexing, sequence base indexing for standard pattern, code indexing to change pattern into code and grouping by Index-ID code, and its role information can apply by structural extraction and design pattern indexing process. and it has managed various products, class item, diagram, forms, components and design pattern.

  • Turbulent premixed flames were a subject of many researches for a number of decades. Especially, Borghi suggested a manificent diagram classifying turbulent combustion reasions and Lipatnikov and Chomiak modified this diagram. But this diagram has difficulties tn defining a flame thickness and velocity and measuring integral length scales In addition, recently experimental techniques are being developed, so we can accurately use PIV diagnostics measuring 2D velocity field instead of LDV and make good use of PLIF techniques for obtaining the flame information. In this study, according to developing techniques, suggest a new diagram replacing the existing Borghi diagram. Simultaneous PIV/OH PLIF measurements are used, which measure a shear strain rate and a location of flames, respectively. The shear strain rate represents turbulence and the OH signal indicates the flame information, but there is no geometric Information which is very important to flame quenching. Hence, to consider the geometric information, calculate fractal dimensions of the OH images. So the diagram suggested in this research has three axes which consist of strain rate, OH signal, and fractal dimension and can classify turbulent premixed flames.

  • Organogels are semi-solid systems that consist of an apolar solvent as the liquid phase within a three-dimensional networked structure. In this study, we developed a stable and skin penetration-enhanced Lecithin Organogel (LO) containing genistein, which is one of the poorly soluble active ingredients in both polar and apolar phase. After screening of various components (type of gelators, organic and aqueous phase), hydrogenated lecithin (HL), sunflower oil (SO), dipropylene glycol (DPG), and polyethylene glycol (PEG) were mainly used in this formulation. Phase ternary diagram was employed for optimization of the composition in the LO. The formulated LO were evaluated for its organoleptic characteristics, stability, pH, rheology, phase transition temperatures, microscopic analysis and skin penetration. The optimized stable LO system can be utilized as an effective and stable cosmetic formulation that can carry poorly soluble active ingredients at high concentration for topical dermal delivery.

Prediction of the Fractures at Inexcavation Spaces Based on the Existing Data (터널의 굴착면 전반부에 분포하는 절리의 예측)

  • Understanding of fracture networks and rock mass properties during tunnel construction is extremely important for the prediction of dangers during excavation, and for deciding on appropriate excavation techniques and support. However, rapid construction process do not allow sufficient time for surveys and interpretations for spatial distributions of fractures and rock mass properties. This study introduces a new statistical approach for predicting joint distributions at foreside of current excavation face during the excavation process. The proposed methodology is based on a cumulative space diagram for joint sets. The diagram displays the cumulative spacing between adjacent joints on the vertical axis and the sequential position of each joint plotted at equally spaced intervals on the horizontal axis. According to the diagram, the degree of linearity of points representing the regularity of joint spacing; a linear trend of the points indicates that the joints are evenly spaced, with the slope of the line being directly related to the spacing. The linear points which are stepped indicates that the fracture set show clustered distribution. A clustered pattern within the linear group of points indicates a clustered joint distribution. Fractures surveyed from an excavated space can be plotted on this diagram, and the diagram can then be extended further according to the plotted diagram pattern. The extension of the diagram allows predictions about joint spacing in areas that have not yet been excavated. To test the model, we collected and analyzed data during excavation of a 10-m-long tunnel. Fractures in a 3-m zone behind the excavation face were predicted during the excavation, and the predictions were compared with observations. The methodology yielded reasonably good predictions of joint locations.

  • This paper presents a concept design of detail design software for high speed catenary system. In this software, M.D.(mounting diagram) can be peformed and parts D/B can be also managed. french one, used in Kyung-bu high-speed line, is not good at user's interface, and the source code is not opened. So, it is impossible to use it in the different environment and catenary system. Through this program, automation of detail design and user's convenience can be derived.
