남해 도암만에서 새우조망에 채집된 어류의 종조성 (Fish Assemblages Collected using a Beam Trawl in a Sheltered Shallow Water of Doam Bay in the Southern Coast of Korea)

  • 천해 내만 해역인 남해 서부의 도암만 어류군집 조성을 조사하기 위하여 2001년 3월부터 2002년 2월까지 조망어구(beam trawl)를 이용하여 매월 중순경 최간조시에 어류를 채집하였다. 조사기간동안 총 33과 53종의 어류가 채집되었다. 도화망둑(Chaeturichthys hexanema), 주둥치(Leiognathus muchalis), 문절망둑(Acanthogobius flavimanus)의 3종이 전체 채질개체수의 67.4%를 차지하였으며, 생체량에서는 꼼치(Liparis tanakai), 문절망둑(Acanthogobius flavimanus), 도화망둑(Chaeturichthys hexanema)이 50.8%를 차지하는 우점종이었다. 채집 개체수와 생체량은 가을과 겨울에는 상대적으로 높게 나타났던 반면, 출현종수와 다양도 등의 일변량 지수값들은 대체로 봄과 여름에 높았다. 주요 14종의 월별 출현빈도에 의한 종간 집괴분석 결과 이 해역의 어류군집이 계절별로 출현양상을 달리하는 3개의 무리로 구분될 수 있음을 보였다: 1)계절에 관계없이 연중 출현하는 주거종에 속하는 도화망둑, 문절망둑, 개서대(Cynoglossus robustus) 및 반지(Setipinna taty)와 가을에 높은 출현 빈도를 보인 비늘양태(Onigocia spinosa), 돛양태 (Repomucenus lunatus), 주둥치, 2) 여름에 높은 출현빈도를 보인 노랑촉수(Upeneus japonicus), 갈치 (Trichiurus lepturus) 및 실망둑(Cryptocentrus filifer), 3) 겨울과 봄에 주로 출현하는 종으로 꼼치(Liparis tanakai), 풀미역치(Erisphex pottii), 두줄망둑(Tridentiger trigonocephalus) 및 동갈양태 (Repomucenus richardsottii). 어류군집의 계절에 따른 뚜렷한 분리는 나타나지 않았는데, 이와 같은 결과는 회유종들의 계절에 따른 일시 출현이 나타난다 하더라도, 전체 어류군집 조성이 출현 개체수에서 높은 점유율을 보이는 주거종에 의해 크게 지배를 받아 비교적 안정된 군집을 형성하고 있음을 시사하였다.

  • Seasonal variations in abundance and species composition of fish assemblage around Narodo were examined. Fish samples were monthly collected by a beam trawl from December 2000 to November 2001. A total of 62 fish species representing 37 families were collected. Of these, Thryssa kammalensis, T. hamiltoni, Chaeturichthys hexanema, Johnius grypotus, Leiognathus nuchalis, Cynoglossus robustus and Setipinna taty were dominant species comprising $82\%$ of the total number of individuals. Species diversity indices ranged from 1.2 to 2.2 showing the highest values from September to November 2001. The fish assemblage was divided into three different groups by cluster analysis of the fourteen dominant species. The main residence species were J. grypotus, L. nuchalis, C. hexanema, C. robustus, Setipinna tenuifilis, T. kammalensis and Ctenotrypauchen microcephalus. Of the temporal species T. hamiltoni, Liparis tanakai and Erisphex pottii were collected In spring, and Muraenesox cinereus and Trichiurus lepturus were in summer and autumn. Principal component analysis revealed that seasonal variation in the fish assemblage was attributed to the abundance of temporal species due to seasonal variation of environmental factors such as water temperature and ecological pattern (polagic/demersal) of fish species.

사천바다목장해역 어류군집의 변동특성 (Seasonal variation of fish assemblage in Sacheon marine ranching, the southern coast of Korea)

  • Species composition and seasonal variation of fish assemblage in Sacheon marine ranching, Korea were examined. Sampling was seasonally made by a shrimp trawl from February 2009 to November 2009. A total of 55 species were collected. Of these, five species was dominant species comprising 51.1% of the total number of individuals. Nine species represented 57.3% of the total biomass. While total abundance (number of individuals) was high in spring, total biomass and species richness (number of species) and diversity were high in autumn. Cluster analysis, based on seasonally abundance data of the 21 most common species, showed that the species were separated into 4 different groups. Group A composed of Pholis nebulosa, Pleuronectes yokohamae, Hypodytes rubripinnis, Hexagrammos otakii, Tridentiger trigonocephalus and Paracercis sexfasciata, which were year round residents, group B Congr myriaster, Leiognathus nuchalis, and Platycephalus indicus, which were abundant in autumn, group C Sillago japonica, Pseudaesopia japonica, Zoarces gilli, Pholis fangi, and Pleuronichthys cornutus which were abundant in spring, and group D Sillago sihama, Cociella sp., Johnius grypotus, Cynoglossus joyneri, Cynoglossus robustus, and Pennahia argentata, which were abundant in summer. Principal component analysis revealed that seasonal variation in the fish assemblage was attributed to the abundance of temporal species such as conger and sand smelt fishes, which were abundant in summer, due to seasonal variation of water temperature.

서대 3중자망의 망목 선택성에 관한 연구 (A study on the selectivity of the mesh size in trammel net for Cynoglossidae spp.)

  • 서대 3중자망의 망목 선택성을 규명하기 위하여 각각 3가지 종류의 망목(70.5mm, 86.6mm, 101mm)으로 구성 된 자망 및 3중자망을 사용하여 1999년 5월부터 8월까지 전남 여수시 돌산도 연안에서 총 30회의 실험조업을 하고, 그 결과를 분석하였다. 망목 선택성 곡선은 개서대를 대상으로 Kitahara 방법으로 작성되었다. 본 연구에 대한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 현용어구 규격인 3중자망(내망 망목 70.5mm망)의 어획비율은 39.0%로, 자망 15.8%에 비해서 약 2.5배 높았다. 2. 3중자망의 선택률이 1이 되는 최적 l/m값은 3.51로 자망 3.38에 비해서 약 0.13 높게 나타났다. 3. 3중자망의 낮은 체장계급에서의 선택성은 자망과 비슷하였으나, 높은 체장계급에서의 선택성은 자망에 비해서 떨어졌다. 이 때 3중자 망의 50% 선택 구간은 1.33으로 자망 0.83에 비해 1.5배 넓게 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 볼 때, 서대의 경우 3중자망은 자망에 비해 어획성능이 우수하고, 망목 크기를 조절함으로서 대상 어종의 어획 체장을 제어할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

고흥 연안 저서 어족자원의 어획실태 (Catch state of demersal fish resources at the coastal waters off Goheung)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the state of demersal fish resource catch by small trawlers, which live in the southern waters off Goheung. We investigated the results of catch of sample fishing vessels, and performed fishing experiments using the actual fishing operation vessels from early November in 2002 till end of October in 2003. The daily amount of catch per vessel of the 35 small trawlers selected as sample vessels was the highest in summer seasons(June and July) as 70kg and the lowest in winter seasons(January and February) as 45kg and Octopus minor occupied as 17 to 30kg nearly 30% of the total catch. Additionally the catch of Octopus minor per vessel, per dragging hour ranges 3 to 6kg, which is the highest in March and June and the low in January to February, April to May and September. In the fishing experiments using small trawler, during the study period, a total of 75 fish species were collected. The number of individuals by species consisted 58.2% in Shrimps, 17.8% in Fish, 2.3% in Cephalopod. Of these, Parapenaeopsis tenella was the highest in 29.2%, Squilla oratoria and Crangon hakodatel was 14.6% respectively and Octopus minor was 0.2% of the total number of individuals. As far as the appearance number of individuals by month was concerned, February was the highest and then May, April and June followed in order, and October showed the lowest. Additionally the monthly catch per dragging was the lowest in December to January as 20kg and the highest in July as 160kg. Specially, Octopus minor was caught throughout the year regardless of season and the catch was the highest at the period from March to June. When looking into the body mean length of dominant fishes caught, we could observe the followings; Trachurus japonicus 8.9cm, Cynoglossus robustus 10.8cm, Muraenesox cinereus 15.3cm, Setipinna taty 10.3cm, Amblchaeturichfhys hexanema 9.3 cm and Collichthys niveatus 8.9cm, most of which were in their immaturity when they were caught.
