To conduct research using small group learning with advanced technology in school, small group collaborative learning was conducted in virtual reality called Second Life for high school history class to verify the effects of the role of group members (leader, group member) in collaborative learning activities in this study. Two classes of the second grade of high school were selected randomly and 20 groups were also randomly assigned, and each group was consisted of three members (1 leader and two group members). Academic achievement and satisfaction with academic activities were used to verify the effect of the role as measurement tools, and collected quantitative data were tested by independent sample t. As a result, it was found that performing the role of leader in collaborative learning activities in virtual reality was effective in promoting enhancing students' academic achievement and increasing satisfaction level. Lastly, utilization and improvement of small group collaborative learning using virtual reality in the field of education were discussed.

Recently, the internet has seen tremendous growth with plenty of enriched information due to an increasing number of specialized personal interests and popularizations of private cyber space called, blog. Many of today's blog provide internet users, RSS, which is also hewn as the syndication technology. It enables blog users to receive update automatically by registering their RSS channel address with RSS aggregator. In other words, it keeps internet users wasting their time checking back the web site for update. This paper propose the ways to manage RSS Channel Searching Crawler and collected RSS Channels for internet users to search for a specific RSS channel of their want without any obstacles. At the same time. This paper proposes RSS channel ranking based on user popularity. So, we focus on an idea of adding index to information and web update for users to receive appropriate information according to user property.

Recently, the RFID technology is combined with a u-healthcare services is an emerging trend in the field of medical services. u-healthcare service, as covering the field of personal health information beyond the level of simple health screening and treatment of life are closely related. Considering security, invasion of privacy, as well as life may be threatened even if your personal health information to be exposed or exploited illegally u-Healthcare services certification is essential. In 2012, Jeong proposed J-L patient authentication protocol that Initialization process, and patients using RFID technology separates the certification process. Jeong, such as the claim that the proposed protocol for reuse attacks, spoofing attacks, prevent information disclosure and traceability fire safety, but raises issues of security and operations efficiency. Therefore, in this paper, Jeong, such as the security of the proposed protocol and to prove the computational efficiency issues, and to enhance the safety and efficiency of RFID technology based on practical u-Healthcare services authentication protocol is proposed.

This study examined the effect on calling and the role of optimism, work hope, religion and supportive parenting. Furthermore, this study tested if personal characteristic variables (optimism and work hope) and personal environmental variables (religion and supportive parenting) would affect how the path would reach. 277 male and female undergraduate students were surveyed. The data was analyzed by AMOS and SPSS. The results were as follows. First, structural equation modeling analyses indicated that supportive parenting and optimism had a direct influence on work hope, and work hope had a significant effect on calling. Religion was not influenced by calling. Second, predictors including work hope, optimism, and supportive parenting accounted for calling well. The implication for practice and future research on calling in counseling and education area are discussed.

In this paper, we design and implement watermarking system which create, insert and detect watermark comprised of number or logo to protect copyright and to prevent illegal plagiarism through inserting copyrighting information of owner into the original image. In the proposed system, the number or logo as watermark is selectively inserted according to characteristics of the original contents or requirement of copyrighter. The system also has convenient user interface which general administrator who hasn't expert knowledge for the protection of copyright uses easily. Ownership and copyright protection using digital watermarking technology intensifies creating volition of clients who want to create contents such as cultural contents, Thus, we can expect increasing requests for creating contents such as cultural contents.

There has been an increasing interest in new industry and demand creations by the convergence and integration between IT and infrastructure and BT, NT, and CT and the convergence of IT and spread of cloud computing have changed the IT service environment. Even in the educational field, the convergence and integration of contents with various IT have rapidly emerged and learning equipments for the educational purpose have expanded to the mobile media platform from PCs so that learning without limitations to time, place and equipment has become possible. Contents necessary for the smart education are under way by research development utilizing cyber reality and simulation, and 3D technologies. The purpose of this study is to propose marine contents use and service plans for the educational purpose in order to produce various types of contents for the marine life and environment, to improve the school achievement by stimulating interest and to provide individually customized learning.

The purpose of this study is to present the mental model of young adolescents' media environment and the use and to provide several educational suggestions drawing on the revealed model. For this, the data were collected through 4 activities such as interview, picture drawings, word association experiment, and sentence completion task with ten 4-5th graders in elementary schools; they were qualitatively analyzed by 2 researchers. First, the meaning components driven by sentence completion task, word association experiment were totally 6 components: media device, connection(alienation), competence(provision), entertainment, adverse effects, ambilaterality. Second, the components of media mental model driven by pictures were 4 components: functions/competence, entertainment, conflict with paper books/sharing, harmfulness/ambilaterality. Third, the components from interview consisted of conflict between paper books and electronic media, communication-centeredness, fear(addiction) and users' qualification. Based on those results, careful examination in cyber talk, necessity of addiction prevention, active development of learning media and their balanced utilization with books, and healthful media literacy education and reinforcement of critical thinking were suggested.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of paternal parenting sense of competence, paternal satisfaction, conflict-coping behaviors, and preschooler's emotional regulation on preschooler's social skills. Participants were 85 5- to 6-year-old preschoolers(41 boys, 44 girls) and their fathers. The Social Skill Rating Scale(Suh, 2004), the Parenting Sense of Competence(Shin & Chung, 1998), the Parental Satisfaction Scale(Seo & Lee, 2002), Conflict-coping behaviors(Cho & Kim, 2000) and the Emotional regulation(Kim & Kim, 1999) were used. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The major findings were summarized as follows: (1) there were no differences between the boys' and girls' social skills. (2) parental satisfaction and emotional regulation explained social skills - cooperation. (3) conflict-coping behaviors(rationality and request for others) and emotional regulation explained social skills - self-control. (4) emotional regulation explained social skills - assertion. In conclusion, parental satisfaction, conflict-coping behaviors, and preschooler's emotional regulation influence differently according to the subscale of preschooler's social skills.

This study is a qualitative case study for discovering any change in the perception of elderly women about sexuality through a group counseling program. For this the study selected eight elderly people who are female aged 65 or over living in D city and have a spouse who is able to have a consistent sex life. Then the study collected relevant data by offering eight sessions of a group counseling program, and carried out an analysis with an approach to case studies. As a result of the research, there were changes in their perceptions about and current life satisfaction, relationships for unity, pleasure relaxation active self-expression, sexual relations. After their participation in the program, participants had a positive perception about a sex concept, namely sexuality and they came to think about the need for an increase of sexuality for raising the satisfaction of life in late years. These research results would be offered as basic data of research into sexuality which may be able to enhance the quality of the lives of elderly people, such as the positive recognition of sex, active sexual intercourses, and the improvement of self-esteem.

A long-distance education method using the computational environment has been developed and implemented for quite some time. However, there has been some difficulty in the simulation of face-to-face instruction due to limitations in performance of the computers and the networks. Continued development of multimedia technologies has now made it possible to simulate face-to-face instruction, recording the teachers' instructions in the form of a screen dump. In this paper, we propose a system that allows the teacher to make loaming materials available on the Web using Window Media Technology(WMT). This technology also allows remote site users to view the contents at their convenience. A media encoder acquires the lessons and stores them as moving pictures. The lessons are displayed on the screen as the teacher explains them. The learning materials are stored in a Windows media file format, the file is stored on a lecture server and provided to the user using a streaming method in real time. The users can view the contents on the Web without requiring a special player. The proposed system consists of a lecture writer module, a lecture server module and a lecture client module.
