  • SNS is a social networking service that removes the barrier between cyber spaces and the real world and helps people who have common interests to have a two-way communication, manage their interpersonal relationships and share information. The domestic and international SNS markets have attained a steady growth, and their growth is being more accelerated in recent days. However, studies on SNS have just examined adults, and it's required to research the use of SNS and cyber behaviors via SNS among elementary and middle school students. This study attempted to analyze the relationship of the use of SNS, motivation of using SNS, the use of active SNS functions, SNS-dependent tendency and SNS awareness to cyber behaviors via SNS among elementary and middle school students. As a result, regardless of gender and grade, stealing private information was the most frequent activity and the frequency of 'contacting strangers' activity increased most rapidly with the usage time and grade. SNS dependency turned out to be the most highly correlated with the negative cyber behavior. Moreover, the difference of gender was not significant to the overall negative cyber behavior, whereas that of grade was.

  • The purpose of this study is to find intervention strategies of university and social welfare agency through analysis of factors influencing on field education outcomes and professional identity of social welfare in cyber university and ordinary university students. The major findings are as follows. First, the degree of field education outcome in cyber university students is higher than ordinary university ones. Second, supervision and university element are meaningful factors to constituent variables of field education outcomes in participants, but major satisfaction is only important for ordinary university students. Third, professional identity is related to major satisfaction, supervision, and university element in cyber university students. But university element hasn't influence on professional identity in ordinary university students. Therefore, supervisors have to give systematic instruction and do clear role model. Universities make an effort to improve major satisfaction and the quality as a pre-social worker.

  • The purpose of the present study is to examine the structural relationship among academic stress, achievement motivation, learning environment, school flow and learning persistence in cyber education. For this study, 879 students who were enrolled in S cyber university in Korea was chosen to conduct the survey. Achievement motivation was measured in the beginning of the semester. Academic stress, learning environment, school flow, and learning persistence were measured at the end of the semester through the web survey system. The results of this study were as follows: First, academic stress, achievement motivation, and learning environment significantly affected school flow. Second, academic stress, achievement motivation, and school flow affected learning persistence, but didn't affect learning environment significantly. The results imply that academic stress, achievement motivation, and school flow should be considered as the significant elements for constructing cyber education environments to enhance students' learning persistence.

  • E-learning is cyber-education that gives open education to everyone by providing various contents through Internet and IT technologies, and it has been spreading rapidly. In this paper, we describes an effective prototype design scheme for establishing e-Learning center, centered on the case of A University, in order to overcome a lot of shortcomings related to cyber-education and to settle down efficient and systematic on-line realtime cyber education. For this purpose, we first analyzed the current status concerning e-Learning at A University. Learners and lecturers then participated in a survey so that we could find some problems on current e-Learning and prepare their solutions. We finally designed e-Learning center prototypes, and selected the prototype 2 as a best one and designed it in more details. The prototype made in this paper would be very useful to other institutes who want to establish a new e-Learning center.

  • Many of learners in cyber universities have experienced the difficulties of learning and participation because they have never participated courses of cyber universities before. One of main reasons why they have experienced the difficulties was that they might have not received systematic guidances of university system as well as learning supports, depending on their readiness of e-learning. Otherwise, they may have lack of supports frequently and finally, fail to graduate. However, few studies were conducted to investigate the e-learning readiness of freshmen and enrollees in cyber universities. The purpose of the study was to analyze the e-learning readiness and learning activities of freshmen and enrollees of A cyber university and to support them more systematically and get them to succeed in studying. In the results, there were no differences between the freshmen and enrollees in basic competencies of cyber learning as well as interaction, task performance, and learning methods.

  • The purpose of the study is to investigate the structural relations between variables which give influences on cyber-violence. On the basis of literal materials, those variables as self-control ability, social identity, and norm consciousness are selected as the variables of having influences on cyber-violence, and the analysis is focused on the influence that anonymity, the representative characteristic of Internet, gives them. The validation of the Model is to be done through AMOS 6.0, and the degree of Model validity is to be estimated through the values of ${\chi}^2$, RMSEA, CFI, NNFI. As the result of the analysis, it is found that social identity and norm consciousness are direct causes of cyber-violence. Anonymity does not have any direct relations with it, but it indirectly gives influences on cyber-violence, for it gives some influences on social identity and norm consciousness. That is, anonymity is a cause of weakening social identity and degrading norm consciousness, by which, it is assumed, cyber-violence is triggered.

  • Recently, as the increase of internet users and the needs of the new educational paradigm, many educational institutions go into the cyberspace system. Especially, it is increase that the cooperative extension for supplying the degree and the remote lectures in the university itself. Mostly those lectures have the form of discussion with theoretical course in the center. It is needed to the development of educational tools for the other courses. The cyber education systems are due to be developed more and more. So we should consider the effective usage of recent techniques like this. Accordingly, I'd like to say what is the method of using effectively the cyber communication. It would be considered about the part of cyber communications and the educational effects that has classified into three parts: the cyber communication as a educational medium, the communication for the cooperative studies, and the theological background of the cyberspace communication. Moreover it is proposed the two parts of the effective study directions; the constitution of the community study, and the effective study factors.

  • Recently, cyber attacks are continuously threatening the cyberspace of the state across the border. Such cyber attacks show a surface which is intelligent and sophisticated level that can paralyze key infrastructure in the country. It can be seen well in cases, such as hacking threat of nuclear power plant, 3.20 cyber terrorism. Especially in public institutions of the country in which there is important information of the country, advanced prevention is important because the large-scale damage is expected to such cyber attacks. Technical support is also important, but by improving the cyber security awareness and security expert knowledge through the cyber security education to the country's public institutions workers is important to raise the security level. This paper suggest education courses for the rise of the best security effect through a short-term course for the country's public institutions workers.

  • In recent years, e-Learning has taken an important position in the field of education. In turn, as the number of e-Learning contents continue to grow, many institutions are facing difficulty how to cut down the cost for content development and to reuse contents once made for the future courses. On of the way to solve this problem is to create technological standard for e-Learning contents and platform, for which e-Learning experts are actively participating around the world. The purpose of the study was to suggest technological standard for sharing e-Learning contents, especially among cyber universities which were established with the Life-long Education Act. To achieve the research objective, at first, we reviewed literatures related to the e-Learning standard, surveyed content management policies in cyber universities, and then made suggestions what to do for the standardization.

  • The purpose of this study was to create a cyber-training & education program in response to the needs of skippers and crews operating tug-barges within Korean coastal waters and the rapid changers in this industry. Skippers and crews are inclined to operate tug-barges on the basis of experience rather than information. It is not easy to provide useful information whenever they want or to drill them in safety management skills, because of their passive attitude toward education and the few opportunities that exist. In order to increase educational opportunities, efficiency and motivation, the authors have developed this program which consists of a 'tug bridge resource management module, risk perception training module, accident case module, operating module and navigation module', and are hoping that this program will enhance and strengthen all tug-barge operations. We are also putting all our energies into designing up to date animation programs and developing new scenarios concerning the method of evaluation and certification distribution.
