공작기계 절삭유 냉각용 낮은 핀관의 열전달 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance of Heat Transfer of Low Fin Tubes Used in Cooling of the Cutting Oil of the Machine Tool)

  • Nine tubes with trapezoidal integral-fins having fin densities from 748 to 1654fpm and 10,30 grooves and finned tubes with caves of 0.55 and 0.64mm height respectively are tested. A plain tube having same diameter as the finned tubes is also tested for comparison. In case of condensation CFC-11 condensates at saturation state of 32$^{\circ}C$ on the outside surface cooled by inside cooling water flows. And in case of boiling the refrigerant evaporates at a saturation state of 1bar on the outside tube surface and heat is supplied by hot water which circulates inside of the tube. The tube having fin density of 1299fpm and 30grooves has the best condensation overall heat transfer coefficient. However, as far as boiling heat transfer coefficient concerns, fin tubes with cave show higher value than low fin tube having fin density of 1299fpm and 30 grooves.

조선전기 고문헌에 수록된 식품저장법에 대한 문헌고찰 (Review of Literature on Food Preservation of the Early Joseon Dynasty)

  • This study aims to investigate the food preservation methods adopted by the Joseon Dynasty, which existed before the 17th century. A total of 232 food preservation methods were discovered in 25 books, and could be classified by their targeted food types: vegetables (84), sea foods (60), meats (41), fruits (37), and others (10). Depending on the preservation method applied, they are classified as food drying, soaking, mud cellar preservation, and other preservation. Food drying is further classified into 8 sub-types: drying, sun-drying, shadow-drying, wind-drying, dry heat, combined drying, smoking, and others. Soaking could be sub-divided into using salt, ash, dry sand, bran, fermented paste, wet distillers grains, oil, and others. Mud cellar preservation is sub-classified into installing shelf inside the mud cellar, making the mud cellar for food preservation, and making hole or underground tunnel for food preservation. Other food preservation methods include minimizing moisture loss by applying beeswax on a section of the vegetable stem, and cutting the vegetables or fruits with their branches and leaves for food preservation.

엔드밀 가공시 채터 모델링과 진단에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Modeling and Diagnostics on Chatter in Endmilling Operation)

  • In this study, the static and dynamic characteristics of endmilling process were modelled and the analytic realization of chatter mechanism was discussed. In this reward, We have discussed on the comparative assessment of recursive time series modeling algorithms that cal represent time machining process and detect the abnormal machining behaviors in precision endmilling operation. In this study, simulation and experimental works were performed to show the malfunctional behaviors. For this purpose, new recursive algorithm(RLSM) was adopted for the oil-line system identification and monitoring of a machining process, we can apply these new algorithms in real process for detection of abnormal chatter. Also, The stability lobe of chatter was analysed by varying parameter of cutting dynamics in regenerative chatter mechanics.

"음식법(찬법)"의 조리학적 고찰 (A Study on the cooking in "Umsikbup")

  • The Umsikbup is a book of Korean woman's life in the Yi-dynasty which published in middle of nineteenth century by unknown author. I have studied the food habits of the Yi-dynasty that wrote in umsikbup as followings ; The stape foods are Bab (boiled cooked rice) 1, Myons (noodles) 4 and Mandu 5 kinds. The side dishes are Guk (soup) 3, Sinsollo 1, Jim 9, Jijim 1, Nooruemi 6, Sun 2, Po 3, Muchim 1, Jabans 3, Jockpyuns 2, Pyunyuk 1, Chae 2, and Kimchi 1 kinds. Thare are D'ock 22, Kwajung 46, Beverages 9 and alcohol are 4 kinds. There are many kinds of Dasikk of the Kwajung in the Umsikbup than no other cooking books. The seasonings are soybean sauce 5, honey 6, oil 4 and sesame seeds 3, ect. There are the description of food types in the seasonal variation and also there are the wisdom of life and avoiding food ; toxic meats, fishes, vegetables and fruits in the taboo food. There are most of Kwajung in the Chanhap (food packed in nest of boxes) in addition to beverages, D'ock, Mandu, decoration methods in the seasonal variation. There are many food making terms which are 163 kinds of prepared cooking term 27 kinds of cutting terms and 17 kinds of boiling terms. And 18 kinds of expression of taste can be seen in this book. There are 24 kinds of table were and cooking kitchen utensils, but many of them came to usefulness 12 kinds of measuring units are very non-scientific because that is not by weight but by bulk or volume.

  • Airplane reservoirs made of Al7075 are coated with an anodizing layer to maintain precision, air tightness and corrosion resistance. It is commonly required that the inner surface roughness of the reservoir be less than an average $0.2{\mu}m$ to maintain stable oil pressure. Even though precision polishing is necessary to achieve this quality it is not easy. Inner surface roughness is not uniform and the quality of the product is irregular because most of the work is done by hand. The purpose of this study is to design an exclusive polishing machine and to determine the standard cutting condition and polishing condition necessary for good inner surface roughness and to improve workefficiency.

신선로(열구자탕) 조리법의 역사적 고찰과 전통적 표준조리법의 제시 (The Historical Study and Standard Traditional Cooking Methods of Sinsulro)

  • "Sinsulro(신선로)" is the famous soup of Cho-sun Dynasty Royal Cuisine, and the original food name is "Yulgujatang(열구자탕)". The first record is on [Sumunsasul] (1740) and the origin history related with Hirang-Jung is on [Headongjukji] and [Chosunyorihak]. From the analysis with Royal banquet menu and 16 kinds of old culinary literatures, "Sinsulro" are contained 54 and 70 material items and used variety cooking methods. Soup base of "Sinsulro" is well boiled meat, shank, brisket, stomach and intestine of beef with water, Some of beef is made meatball and seasoned raw meat. Beef marrow and tripes and liver are sauted with egg. Dried abalone and sea cucumber are soaked in water and then cutting slices after well boiled. Sliced white fish fillet are sauted with egg. Egg white and egg yolk made to thin sheet on pan with oil. Dropwort made to one sheet with flour and egg. Radish are boiled with meat soup and other vegetable are cooked with boiled or sauted. Seeds of pinenut, gingko, walnut are used of decorative seasonings. Filling mehtods of the Sinsulro casserole, the first layer is seasoning raw beef meat, 2nd layer is cooked slice of meat and radish, 3rd layer is rectangle pieces of egg sheet and sauted fish and intestines of beef. The top layer is decorated with meatball and naked nuts. After hot soup is poured until top of the materials, buning charcoal put into the center fire place and then served.o the center fire place and then served.

CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY OF SOIL-BENTONITE CUT-OFF WALL FOR IN-SITU GEOENVIRONMENTAL CONTAINMENT

  • A construction technique to install the soil-bentonite (SB) cut-off wall for in-situ geoenvironmental containment by employing the trench cutting and re-mixing deep wall method is first presented in this paper. The laboratory test results on the hydraulic barrier performance of SB in relation to the chemical compatibility are then discussed. Hydraulic conductivity tests using flexible-wall permeameters as well as swell tests were conducted for SB specimens exposed to various types and concentrations of chemicals (calcium chloride, heavy fuel oil, ethanol, and/or seawater) in the permeant and/or in the pore water of original soil. For the SB specimens in which the pore water of original soil did not contain such chemicals and thus the sufficient bentonite hydration occurred, k values were not significantly increased even when permeated with the relatively aggressive chemical solutions such as 1.0 mol/L $CaCl_2$ or 50%-concentration ethanol solution. In contrast, the SB specimens containing $CaCl_2$ in the pore water had the higher k values. The excellent linear correlation between log k and swelling pressure implies that the swelling pressure can be a good indicator for the hydraulic barrier performance of the SB.

Epoxy 수지 경화제에 따른 Putty 개발에 관한 연구 (Study on the Development of Putty According to Epoxy Resin Hardener)

  • 본 연구에서는 유물의 보존 처리 과정에서 결손 부위의 복원을 위해 적용 가능한 다목적용 복원재료로써 Epoxy Putty를 개발하고자 하였다. 기존에 사용되고 있는 재료의 물성에서 드러난 높은 강도로 인한 가공성의 문제, 작업 과정 중 긴 경화 시간으로 인한 처짐 현상, 도구나 장갑에 묻어 유물의 표면을 오염시키는 등의 문제점을 해결하기 위해, 1차적으로 현재 많이 사용되고 있는 Epoxy Putty 형태의 복원 재료 물성을 파악한 후 이를 비교 대상으로 선택하여 경화제와 충전제의 종류에 따른 Epoxy Putty를 개발하였다. 개발 된 Epoxy Putty는 기존 재료의 문제점 해결 및 유사한 물성을 지니기 위해 성상(性狀)이 다른 2종의 경화제를 선정하여 물성 실험을 실시하였다. 경화제로는 Mercaptan 계열의 경화제와 Aliphatic amine 계통의 경화제 2종을 선택하여 개발하였다. 연구 결과 2종 모두 Paste 형태로 경화 시간은 5~10분 내외로 기존 재료에 비해 약 3~10배 정도 짧아 작업의 편리성을 높였으며, 가공성을 높이기 위한 마모율은 약 3배 정도 향상시켜 쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 하였으며, 작업 중 발생하는 표면 오염 등의 단점을 보완하기 위해 충전제로 백색의 Micro-balloon을 첨가하여 사용 중 손에 묻어 나오는 끈적거리는 현상을 줄여주었을 뿐만 아니라 Coloring, 경량성, 절삭력 등이 높은 저수축 및 가공성이 우수한 다목적 복원 재료를 개발하였다.

PCBs 함유 고상폐기물의 분석방법 고찰 (Analytical method of PCBs-containing solid wastes)

  • 본 연구에서는 PCBs 함유 고상폐기물의 효율적 관리를 위해 현행 폐기물 공정시험방법의 용출 시험방법을 고상폐기물 종류별 표면채취법, 부재시험방법, 세정시험방법 등의 함량시험방법과 비교검토하여 PCBs 함유 고상폐기물의 시험방법(안) 및 기준(안)을 마련하였다. 우리나라의 표면채취법에 의한 비함침성 고상폐기물의 규제기준은 미국 및 일본과 같은 수준으로 각 국의 액상폐기물인 절연유 기준과 표면채취법에 의한 처리기준의 수치적 관계를 이용하여 산출하는 것이 타당한 것으로 판단되어진다. 이에 PCBs 함유 고상폐기물 중 규소강판 등 표면채취가 가능한 평면형 비함침성 부재는 표면채취법으로 시료를 채취하여 함량분석법으로 분석하는 경우, 비함침성 고상폐기물의 규제기준(안)을 $0.4 {\mu}g/100cm^2$으로 설정하였다. 또한, 표면채취가 어려운 시료를 일정한 크기로 잘라 부재를 채취한 후 함량분석법으로 분석하는 경우에는 규제기준을 0.04 mg/kg을 제안하였다.

Processing and Mechanical Properties of Mullite Fiber / Fe Composite

  • The high-speed steel (shorten as HSS) consists of Fe and several kinds of transition metal carbides. The cutting tools or wear-resistant materials made from HSS experience relatively high thermal shock because a coolant such as water or oil is flowed over the surface of heated HSS. The purpose of this research is to increase the hardness, strength, fracture toughness and thermal shock resistance of HSS. A possible strategy is to incorporate a hard ceramic material with high strength in HSS matrix. This paper describes the processing, microstructure and mechanical properties of the oriented unidirectional mullite fiber/HSS composite. The unidirectional mullite fibers of 10${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ diameter were dispersed by the ultrasonic irradiation of 38 kHz in an ethylenglycol suspension containing HSS powder of 11${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ median size. The dried green composites with 4-68 vol% fibers were hot-pressed for 2h at 100$0^{\circ}C$ in Ar atmosphere under a pressure of 39 MPa. The higher density was achieved in the composite with a lower content of fibers. The oriented unidirectional fibers were well dispersed in the HSS matrix. The average distance between the center of fibers in the cross section was close to the value calculated from the fiber fraction. No reaction occurred at the interfaces between HSS and mullite fibers in the composites. The composite with 13.6 vol% fibers showed 100 MPa of four point flexural strength at room temperature. The thermal expansion of composite with heating was influenced by the orientation of mullite fibers.
