다이아몬드 블레이드를 사용한 절단가공이 절단저항력 해석 (Mechanics of Diamond Blade Sawing)

  • A theoretical analysis is presented on the mechanics of diamond blade sawing. The normal and tangential components of cutting force are calculated. Experimental results are also presented, which show the effects of cutting variables such as cutting speed, feed speed, cutting area, and concentration of diamond blade on the cutting forces. The experimental results are found to be in good agreement with those predicted by the analytical calculation.

  • This paper described two case studies on large scale failure of cutting slope. The kind of rock in both sites predominated limestone and shale respectively. These cutting slopes located in northern area of Gyongbug Province are composed of very complicated and various rock mass. Geological characteristics, causes of failure, proceeding of security diagnose, maintenance method etc. of two sites were carried out to check the cutting slope stability and to provide reasonable maintenance method. This paper may provide the useful data for engineers related with design and construction of large cutting slope.

입목벌채 허가제도 개선에 대한 벌채허가 담당자와 벌채 실행자의 인식조사 (Study on the Recognition of Forest-Official's and Stakeholders's Toward Improvement of Tree Cutting Permit System)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라의 벌채제도와 외국의 벌채제도를 비교하여 입목벌채 허가제도 개선에 관한 시사점을 도출하는 한편, 벌채업무 담당 그룹(공무원)과 목재벌채 실행그룹(산림소유자, 벌채업자, 산림조합, 산림법인)을 대상으로 입목벌채 제도에 대한 인식 및 활성화 요인 등에 관한 설문조사를 실시하여 제도 개선에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 독일과 일본의 벌채제도를 분석한 결과, 산림의 다양한 기능발휘를 저해 할 수 있는 개벌 면적은 축소하고 있는 추세이며, 벌채기준으로 획일적인 벌기령을 적용하지 않고 지역 산림여건을 감안하는 유연한 산림시업의 표준으로서 벌기령을 활용하는 한편, 벌채 후 갱신확보를 위해 지역에 맞는 적절한 갱신방법을 제시하는 벌채제도를 운용한다는 시사점을 도출하였다. 입목벌채 허가제도에 대한 인식 및 활성화 요인 등에 관해 벌채업무 담당 공무원 그룹과 목재벌채 실행그룹을 대상으로 한 설문조사 분석결과, 기준 벌기령은 벌채업무 담당그룹 만이 소나무(3.13)와 삼나무(3.05)의 벌기령이 적정하다는 인식을 보였고 기타 수종의 벌기령은 하향 조정해야 한다는 의견을 보였다. 개벌면적에 대해서는 1 벌구 5 ha 이내, 최대 합계면적 30 ha 한도 기준에 대해서는 벌채 업자와 산림법인 그룹만이 현행보다 확대가 필요하다는 인식을 나타냈다. 현행 벌채제도에 대한 활성화 요인으로는 벌채면적의 확대, 시설지원, 기술교육의 강화, 장비지원 확대, 행정 간소화, 다양한 혜택 부여 등이 제시되었는데, 기술교육 강화가 집단 간의 인식 차이에서 유의수준이 가장 낮게 나타났다.

수치해석법에 의한 면삭밀링 작업에서의 절삭력과 표면거칠기에 관한 연구 (A Numerical Simulation on Cutting Force and Surface Roughness of the Face Milling)

  • The milling process is one of the most important metal removal processes in industry. due to the complexities inherent to the cutter insert geometry and the milling cutter kinematics, these processes leave an analytically difficult to predict texture on the machined surface's hills and valleys. The instantaneous uncut chip cross sectional area may be estimated by the relative position between the workpiece and the cutter inserts. Furthermore, since the cutting forces are proportional to the instantaneous uncut chip cross sectional area, the cutting forces in face milling operations can not be estimated easily. A new simulation program which is based upon the numerical method has been proposed to estimate the cutting force components, with the ability to predict the machined surface texture left by the face milling.

  • This paper suggests the establishment of high-accuracy and high-efficiency machining method of scroll shape workpiece by using the feed control method. The cutting paths for machining the inside and outside surfaces of the scroll-shape workpiece are calculated, and the calculation method of the cutting chip areas based on the coordinate of the base circle is shown. A feed control method is proposed for a constant cutting area and cutting force. By machining test of scroll shape workpiece, The machined accuracy of wrap, tool wear, and surface roughness are evaluated. By this method, Reduction of the machining time and large increase of the efficiency can be expected.

제주혼파초지에서 하고기 예취시기와 질서비료수준에 따른 목초생산의 계절적 변화 (Seasonal Changes of Pasture Production by Cutting Dates and Nitrogen Application Levels under Summer Stress of Cheju Area)

  • To study management practices suitable for the least production loss of temperate pasture under summer stress, two different cutting dates (late June and mid July) under summer stress and five different nitrogen treatment application levels (0, 100. 200, 300 and 400 kg/ha) were tried during the trial period between Oct. of 1986 and Oct. of 1989. The late June cutting showed a statistically significant increase of dry matter yield of pasture in comparison with the mid-July cutting(P<0.05). Nitrogen application also gave significant increase in dry matter yield. Botanical composition at the 4th cuttings in 1988 and 1989 was dominated by weeds to the level of 50%, Application ofnitrogen at 200 kgs per ha was found to be the best with production of grasses at 70%, legumes at 10 % and weeds at 20% in botanical composition comparison of pastures at the 4th cutting time the last year, showing a great decrease of weeds. K contents of pasture in June cuttings showed to be more than them in July cutting, and N and Na contents increased with increases of the nitrogen application level. It was concluded that treatment with June cutting and nitrogen application of 200 kg per ha was a way to keep temperate pasture from summer stress in the Cheju area.

  • A wide variety of fashion materials focus on good drape property and softness. Among the recently emerging materials, Neoprene that consists of laminated knit on both sides of foamed neoprene sheet seeks a unique appearance that is considerably deviated from the current flow. Diverse processing methods for the newly released material heighten the value in function and beauty among trends of fashion materials by enhancing the appearance, touch and material property. Laser-cutting technique is one of the processing methods that is consistently used in the textile area. This study aimed to find the basic materials for applicability of laser-cutting technique to clothing goods after consideration of the changes in material property and drape shape, and to furthermore enforce different pattern conditions to Neoprene material, one of the newly attractive materials in the fashion area. In this study, we applied laser-cutting technique to Neoprene material sample under different conditions of pattern appearance, size and distance, based on current evaluation and theoretical background of Neoprene material, fashion trend and laser-cutting technique. Drape property can improve and the drape direction could also be controlled by a wide variety of laser-cutting techniques applied to Neoprene materials that have uniquely different appearances from most other textiles. This technique could be applied to the design for diversification of Neoprene clothing goods in the future.

Flank 마모에 의한 SUS304의 절삭특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the cutting characteristics of SUS304 by flank wear)

  • This expermintal study is intended to investigate he development of flank wear in turning os SUS304 which is used in industrial applications and is acknowledged as a machining difficult material. In cutting process, change of velocity, change of feed, and change of depth of cut were investigated about the effect of flank wear, and slenderness ratio is also investigated. The variations of unit cutting force with the change of rake angle and the change of uncut chip area are observed. The friction angles are calculated for the change friction force and observed. The friction angles are calculated for the change friction force and normal forcd on the different rake angles. From this experimental study, the following results can be said. 1. Under the high cutting speed condition, the flaank wear is affected by the feed and depth of cut, but the influence of feed and depth of cut to the flank wear is reduced when the velocity is low. 2. The smaller slenderness ratio is, the shorter the tool life results in high cutting speed, and the lower cutting speed is, the lower the effect of slenderness ratio to the flank wear is. 3. Using the characteristics of force-RMS, the flank wear of a tool can be detected. There are almost no differences between the RMS characteristics of cutting force and feed force.

소나무 천연갱신지의 목재수확 유형별 종자 유입 특성 (Seed Inflow Characteristics of the Korean Red Pine according to Harvest Type in Natural Regeneration Forests)

  • 본 연구는 목재수확 유형에 따른 종자 유입 특성을 구명하여 천연갱신에 의한 소나무 후계림 조성 기술의 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 모수작업(단목모수, 군상모수) 및 개벌작업(대상개벌 10 mㆍ20 mㆍ40 m, 군상개 벌 20 mㆍ30 mㆍ40 m)을 실시하여 시험지를 조성하고, 2014년부터 6년간 천연갱신지의 종자 유입 특성을 분석하였다. 소나무 종자는 대부분 10~11월 갱신상에 유입되었으며, 종자 결실이 좋은 해에는 80% 이상이 10월에 유입되었다. 목재수확 유형별 연평균 종자 유입량은 군상 모수작업지(296천립/ha/yr), 20 m 군상 개벌작업지(291천립/ha/yr), 10 m 대상 개벌 작업지(281천립/ha/yr) 순으로 많았다. 유입 종자 분포 균일성은 20 m 대상 개벌작업지(52.2), 20 m 군상 개벌작업지(52.9), 10 m 대상 개벌작업지(56.1) 순으로 분석되어 벌채 면적이 상대적으로 좁은 10 m 대상 개벌작업지와 20 m 군상 개벌작업지가 종자 유입량 및 분포 균일성이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

  • A theoretical analysis is presented on the mechanics of diamond blade sawing. Experimental results are also presented, which show the effects of cutting variables such as cutting speed, feed speed, cutting area, and concentration of deamond blade on the cutting forces. The analytical results aggreed well with experimental ones.
