전극선 성분 변화에 따른 냉간금형용강의 와이어방전가공 특성 (Characteristics of Wire EDM for Cold Die Steel due to the Different Wire Electrode Component)

  • In the experimental study, wire EDM was conducted for cold die steel by changing the Wire electrode, peak discharge current and number of finish cut. From the micro structure analysis of SEM photographs, the size of irregular welded and added component on the EDMed surface is decreasing and size of EDMed plane surface is increasing as the decreasing peak current and increasing number of finish cut. From the analysis of coating effect, Zn component is highly contained in Br and Zn Wire EDMed surface and copper component is highly contained in Br and Al wire EDMed surface. Hardness values are Increasing as the increasing peak current and decreasing the number of finish cut The value of hardness is decreasing as Cu, Al, Zn and Br wire electrode because of the residual austenite effect of solid solution copper on solidification, and finally EDMed surface has the highest hardness values for every wire electrode. Yield strength values becomes larger and bending strength values become smaller due to the increasing the hardness. These results are increased as increasing brittleness with hardness.

  • 발파한 후 파쇄된 암석의 파쇄도는 발파효율을 나타내는 척도의 하나로서 발파방법을 평가하는 주요 인자이다. 파쇄도는 적재작업과 재활용을 위한 분쇄작업에 큰 영향을 미친다. 그러나 현장규모로 쌓여 있는 발파암 더미로부터 파쇄도를 조사한다는 것은 용이한 작업이 아니다. 본 논문에서는 현장 사례연구로서 터널발파에서 가장 중요한 요소인 심빼기방법 중 경사공을 이용한 V형 심빼기와 수평공 무장약공을 이용한 burn 심빼기 발파방법 중 파쇄도 측면에서 더 효율적인 방법을 선택하기 위하여 발파후 파쇄된 암을 사진촬영하여 이미지 분석을 실시하고 몇가지 파쇄입도 예측식을 이용한 분석 결과와 비교하였다.

  • In this study, we measured the antibacterial activities, deodorization, UV cut ability, whiteness and SEM, according to the size($5{\mu}m$, $15{\mu}m$) of $TiO_2$, concentration(3%, 5%, 10%) and dipping temperature($50^{\circ}C$, $70^{\circ}C$) with using anatase type of $TiO_2$ photocatalyst. Photocatalyst is the substance which carries out functions, such as decomposition, removal, deodorization, antibacterial, etc. of a contaminant, in a place with light based on an oxidation-reduction reaction. The results of this study were as follow. Antibacterial activities are increased with increasing of the $TiO_2$'s concentration, and $TiO_2$ has high antibacterial activities for Staphylococcus aureus but it has low antibacterial activities for Klebsiella pneumoniae. The deodorization and UV cut ability is very good, therefore be able to get good effects with using only 3% of $TiO_2$. Every effects are increased by using small size of $TiO_2$ and high dipping temperature.

  • At Wire Rod Mill Plant, wire is made of the billet produced at continuous casting machine, or rolled bloom produced at billeting mill, and the product can be classified of wire of 5.5${\Phi}$ and bar in coil of 14∼42${\Phi}$ in diameter(bar in coil will be referred to as coil as below). At present, wire is produced at POSCO No.1, 2, 3 WRM, coil at garret line of No. 2 WRM. Head and tail of coil are properly cut and treated to scrap to fulfill the customer's satisfaction. This above cutting is done off line, and small size coil can be cut manually with clipper, large size coil with hydraulic cutter. Nowadays, it is being investigated to cut automatically in line with trimming shear after passing mill stand. At the moment, Because the coil produced at the garret line of No.2 WRM is hot 400∼600$^{\circ}C$ and trimming is done manually with cutter, there are always interference from manual operation or safety problem of bad working condition. Not only because of the diversity of the coil size 14∼42${\Phi}$ in diameter, but because of the rolling speed 2.5∼22m/sec, it is required to be equipped with several trimming shear. But this can be accomplished with only one shear installed proper place at this paper.

페라이트의 연삭저항 및 연삭면 특성 (Study on Grinding Force and Ground Surface of Ferrite)

  • This paper aims to clarify the effects of grinding conditions on the grinding force, ground surface and chipping size of workpiece in surface grinding of various ferrites with the resin bond diamond wheel. The main conclusions obtained were as follows: In a constant peripheral wheel speed, the specific grinding energy is fitted by straight lines with grinding depth coefficient($\delta$) in a logarithmic graph. The effect of both depth of cut and workpiece speed on grinding energy becomes larger in the order of Mn-Zn, Cu-Ni-Zn and Sr. When using the diamond grain of the lower toughness, the roughness of the ground surface becomes lower. The ground surfaces show that the fracture process during grinding becomes more brittle in the order of Sr, Mn-Zn and Cu-Ni-Zn. The chipping size at the corner of workpiece in grinding increases with the the increases of the depth of cut and workpiece speed, and the decrease of peripheral wheel speed. The effect of both depth of cut and workpiece speed on chipping size becomes more larger in the order of Sr, Mn-Zn and Cu-Ni-Zn.

저축 CNC 환경에서의 황삭가공 (Rough Cut Tool Path Planning in Fewer-axis CNC Machinig)

  • This paper presents rough cut tool path planning for the fewer-axis machine consisting of a three-axis CNC machine and a rotary indexing table. In the problem dealt with in this paper, the tool orientation is "intermediately" changed, distinguished from the conventional problem where the tool orientation is assumed to be fixed. The developed rough cut path planning algorithm tries to minimize the number of tool orientation (setup) changes together with tool changes and the machining time for the rough cut by the four procedures: a) decomposition of the machining area based on the possibility of tool interference (via convex hull operation), b) determination of the optimal tool size and orientation (via network graph theory and branch-and bound algorithm), c) generation of tool path for the tool and orientation (based on zig-zag pattern), and d) feedrate adjustment to maintain the cutting force at an operation level (based on average cutting force). The developed algorithms are validated via computer simulations, and can be also used in pure fiveaxis machining environment without modification.

수가공 및 기계가공 된 나비장 접합부의 성능 비교 (Performance Comparison of Butterfly Joints between Manual Member and Pre-cut Member)

  • To modularize the joints of Hanok, the bending strengths of butterfly joints between pre-cut and manual member were compared. Structural size joints were manufactured and the length, width and thickness of each tenon were produced with different sizes. The ultimate load of pre-cut members was 2 times higher than that of manual members. Degree of anchorage for the joints on pre-cut member was also superior to that of manual member. By the F-test results, a great influence between ultimate load and sizes of tenon was found. In result of multiple regression analysis, the length and thickness of tenon were showed proportion relationships with the ultimate load, but the width of tenon was showed inverse proportion with the ultimate load. The results of this study can be used to identify the relationships among the major influence factors. Futhermore, it might be used as basic data for modularization the joints of Hanok.

형재 절단금형 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of a Channel Cutting Die Set)

  • Many kinds of channels are used in industrial equipment and production machinery. Although mechanical saw has been used to cut many sorts of channels, there is cost rise problem because of low productivity. Shearing of channel has a special place because it helps to cut expected shape and size easily. A channel cutting die set which can be mounted and used on a hydraulic press is developed to improve the productivity of channel cutting process. Mode for the channel cutting is divided into single cut and double cut method. This study use double cut method, and the developed channel cutting die set is composed of upper and lower die set. Shearing time can be reduced from 40 minutes to 20 seconds using the developed channel cutting die set. The productivity of channel cutting process can be increased with shearing time reduction as well as cost reduction.

굴착경사가 개착식터널의 구조적거동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Cut-slope on Structural Behavior of Cut-and-Cover Tunnel)

  • 기존 개탁식터널은 굴착경사와 관계없이 터널상부에는 되메움지반의 자중이 그리고, 터널벽체에는 정지토압이 작용하는 것으로 가정하여 설계되고 있다. 그러나 개착식터널에 실제 작용하는 토압은 개착규모에 따라 다르며 이에 따라 터널라이닝의 구조적거동 또한 다르게 나타난다. 본 연구에서는 수치해석적방법을 사용하여 굴착경사가 터널라이닝에 미치는 영향을 다음과 같이 조사하였다. 첫째로, 지반범용수치해석프로그램인 FLAC2D를 사용하여 개착공법으로 시공된 기존 터널의 변형거동을 모사할 수 있는 수치해석방법을 활용하여 현장의 계측결과와 비교하므로써 수치해석방법의 타당성을 검증하였고, 둘째로, 동일한 수치해석기법을 적용하여 굴착경사가 $30^{\circ}\;, 456{\circ},\; 60^{\circ},\; 75^{\circ}%인 개착식터널에 작용하는 토압 및 변위와 터널라이닝에 발생하는 단면력을 조사하였다. 수치해석에 사용된 개착식터널은 2차로 도로터널이며, 터널라이닝과 되메움지반 사이의 마찰력을 고려하기 위하여 접합면 요소를 사용하였다. 수치 해석결과, 되메움지반과 터널라이닝 및 굴착사면 사이의 마찰력에 의한 되메움지반 내부의 아칭현상으로 인하여 굴착 경사가 클수록 터널벽체에 상대적으로 작은 토압이 작용하였으며, 이에 따라 터널라이닝의 변형, 모멘트, 전단력이 증가하였음을 알 수 있었다.

왜도가 심한 모집단의 절사층 추정 (Estimation of Cut-off Stratum in the Highly Skewed Population)

  • 사업체조사에서 절사법이 흔히 이용되고 있다. 이 경우, 절사되는 사업체가 모집단에서 차지하는 비중이 모집단 전체에 비하여 매우 작다. 따라서 절사층에 속한 사업체는 목표모집단에서 제외되고, 나머지 부분에 대한 추정만이 이루어지고 있다. 이는 목표모집단 총계 추정에 영향을 작게 미치는 사업체 정보를 활용하지 않겠다는 의미이며, 더불어 작은 사업체에 응답 부담을 덜어 주겠다는 의도로 볼 수 있다. 그러나 예산의 부담을 덜기 위해서 절사층의 크기를 증가시키는 것은 목표모집단의 모수 추정에 상당한 편의를 제공한다는 점을 간과해서는 안 된다. 본 연구에서는 사례를 이용하여 모집단을 절사층, 표본층, 전수층으로 구분하고, 보조변수를 이용하여 절사층을 추정하는 방법을 보였다.
