The Effect of Food Delivery Application on Customer Loyalty in Restaurant

  • The Purpose: This study aims to identify the characteristics of customer satisfaction of the restaurants delivery applications that is increasing globally, especially in Korea. Due to demographic changes, social trends and the development of food science, customers no longer want to visit restaurants. This represents an important change in the restaurant business, and related research is also very urgent. Research design, data, and methodology: With 296 surveyed questionnaire, the study analyzed to verify the validity and reliability of measured variables in Korea. And structural equation model was used for hypotheses test of the research. Results: The result showed that consumers' usefulness, mobility, and reliability influenced on satisfaction. Specifically, mobility and reliability influencing the satisfaction and loyalty as well. And significant impact of satisfaction and loyalty are also corroborated. However, the path from informative to both satisfaction and loyalty was not statistically significant. This means food application developers should no longer focus on providing too many information, instead, concentrate on improving mobility and trust of mobile applications. Conclusions: This study analyzed the influence of attributes of food delivery applications on satisfaction and loyalty, and suggested crucial strategic implications of delivery marketing companies involved in the implementation of mobile application developers.

  • 연구의 목적은 광주광역시 지역의 외식업체를 이용한 고객을 대상으로 브랜드 이미지과 브랜드인식 관계의 질(신뢰, 만족)과의 관계를 파악하고자 하였다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 가설을 설정 한 뒤 광주 광역시지역에 거주하는 20세 이상의 성인 남녀를 대상으로 설문조사를 편의표본추출방식으로 표본을 추출하여 설문조사를 통해 실증분석을 실시하였다. 외식업체 이용하는 고객의 브랜드 이미지는 관계의 질(신뢰)에 유의한 영향관계에 있어 상징적 이미지는 신뢰에 유의한 관계를 형성하였으나 경험적 이미지는 신뢰에 대해서는 유의한 관계를 형성하지 않았다. 브랜드 이미지는 관계의 질(만족)에 유의한 영향관계는 상징적 이미지는 만족에 유의한 관계를 형성하였으나 경험적 이미지는 만족에 대해서는 유의한 관계를 형성하지 않았다. 브랜드 인식은 관계의 질(신뢰)에 유의한 영향는 브랜드인식은 신뢰에 유의한 관계를 형성하였다. 외식업체 이용하는 고객의 브랜드 인식은 관계의 질(만족)에 유의한 영향관계는 브랜드인식은 만족에 유의한 관계를 형성하였다. 결과적으로 외식업체의 브랜드 이미지, 브랜드 인지와 관계의 질 간의 관계유효성 검증을 실증적으로 제시하였다는 점에서 매우 중요한 시사점을 제공하였다. 향후에는 한계점을 극복하고 좀 더 심층적이고 구체적인 연구를 통해 유의한 성과를 얻을 수 있는 연구가 수행되어야한다.

오픈 마켓상의 제공 정보에 대한 만족도가 구매자의 거래 의향에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (The Impact of the Information's Satisfaction in the e-Marketplace on the Buyer's Transactions Intention)

  • 인터넷의 성장과 이용자 수의 증가는 인터넷이란 매체를 상거래를 위한 새로운 장소로 부각시켰으며, 전자상거래의 눈부신 발전을 이끌었다. 최근 오픈 마켓의 급속한 성장은 이 같은 추세를 나타내는 대표적인 예로 제시될 수 있다. 그러나 온라인 상거래는 비대면 접촉이라는 한계를 지니고 있어 소비자들에게 어떻게 신뢰를 제공해 거래를 성사시키느냐가 사업 성공의 관건이라고 할 수 있다. 이에 따라 오픈 마켓에서는 소비자의 신뢰 형성을 위해 다양한 정보를 제공하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 오픈 마켓에서 제공되는 다양한 정보들에 대한 만족이 실제 구매자의 거래 의향에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 그리고 소비자들이 거래를 할 경우, 어떤 정보에 가장 의존하는지를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 거래 시스템과 관련한 정보, 판매자 관련 정보, 과거 구매자들의 구매후기 피드백 정보 등에 대한 만족도와 구매자의 거래 의향은 서로 긍정적인 관계에 있었으며, 이들 중에서도 거래 시스템 관련 정보와 기존 고객의 피드백 만족도가 판매자 관련 정보보다 실제 거래 의향에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 결과를 나타냈었다.

  • Online community as a business model has gotten much attention in online market. And it has been recognized as an increasingly important tool for better understanding and relationships with customers. Thus, There are needs for conducting researches, such as those being performed in social psychology area. Due to the lack of current researches on online community, variables that have been considered in social science and factors in relationship marketing are adopted in this study. The primary purpose of this research is to develop and test a model that explains the process of how sense of online community through relationship quality influences customer loyalty. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, sense of online community was found to have a positive influence on relationship quality. Second, relationship quality was found to have a strong positive effect on customer loyalty. Finally, relationship quality was found to have a mediation effect between the sense of online community and the customer loyalty. Implications of these findings are discussed for researchers and practitioners.

외식 프랜차이즈 가맹본부의 사후 지원서비스가 가맹점의 관계품질과 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Franchisor's On-going Support Services on Franchisee's Relationship Quality and Business Performance in the Foodservice Industry)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 외식 프랜차이즈 시스템에서 가맹점에 대한 가맹본부의 관계품질에 영향을 미치는 변수를 사후 지원서비스로 설정하고, 사후 지원서비스가 가맹점의 관계품질(신뢰, 만족, 몰입)과 경영성과(재무적 성과, 비재무적 성과)에 미치는 영향에 대한 포괄적인 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 제안된 모형을 검증하기 위하여 서울 및 경기 지역의 외식 프랜차이즈 가맹점 경영자 500명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하여, 구조방정식을 통해 실증 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사후 지원서비스 요인 중 제품범주 및 가격 요인과 정보제공 및 문제해결 능력 요인은 가맹점의 만족과 몰입에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 물류지원과 슈퍼바이저 지원 요인은 신뢰와 만족에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 재교육 및 훈련지원 요인은 가맹점의 신뢰와 몰입에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 판매촉진 요인은 신뢰 만족, 그리고 몰입 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 관계품질요인들 간의 관계는 신뢰가 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지만 몰입에는 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 못하고, 만족을 통해서 몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 신뢰는 재무적 성과에만 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 만족과 몰입은 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과 모두에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 결과요약과 시사점, 그리고 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향이 제시되었다.

온라인상에서 식품구매 시 서비스품질과 식품품질이 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Service Quality and Food Quality on Purchase Intention in Electronic Commerce of Food Products)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of service quality and food quality on purchase intention in the electronic commerce of food products. Specifically, the relationship between purchase intention and food quality and service quality was tested based on customer satisfaction and trust, which were measured using the structural equation modeling method. Quality of service was found to affect purchase intention; however, food quality had no positive effects on purchase. Additional analyses should be conducted owing to the conflicting results of the present study. Although the amount of food bought online is increasing rapidly every year, research regarding online food purchasing is not being actively conducted. The results of the present study will help food sellers, buyers, and researchers.

Research on customer complaints in the background of industry 4.0

  • Purpose: Today, we often hear complaints from customers: poor quality, poor service, expensive prices, etc. Customer complaints are an indication that the company's products and services do not meet customer requirements, which in turn causes customer complaints. An important content of corporate marketing practice is how to use the opportunity of handling customer complaints to win the trust of customers and gain a competitive advantage. According to the concept of marketing, the way for an enterprise to obtain profits is to continuously meet the needs of customers. However, with increasingly fierce market competition and the overall formation of a buyer's market, providing high-quality products and high-efficiency and high-level services have become the eternal theme of enterprises. Therefore, meeting the actual needs of customers and effectively handling customer complaints are issues that we must take seriously. Research design, data, and methodology: This article mainly analyzes the causes of customer complaints, proposes relevant solutions for different types of complaints, builds a customer complaint management system, improves the efficiency and ability of handling complaints, and provides more references and basis for enterprises to solve customer complaints. Conclusions: To further improve the quality of enterprise products and service standards, to help enterprises increase customer loyalty and satisfaction, and to enable enterprises to gain advantages in the increasingly competitive global market.

약선음식의 선택속성이 만족도와 관계지속의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Selection Attributes on Satisfaction and Relationship Retention in Yaksun Cuisine)

  • With increasing interest in the health and safety of food served in restaurants, more emphasis is being placed on the importance of health and food. As a result, Yaksun cuisine with new added effects and image is becoming more popular as a way to improve people's health. This study analyzed the effects of selection attributes relating to Yaksun cuisine on customer satisfaction and intention to maintain relationship in order to understand various needs of consumers as they relate to health food. The results showed that, among selection attributes of Yaksun cuisine, price, safety, and health were found to have significant effects on customer satisfaction; however, the effect of quality on satisfaction was not verified. Moreover, while the effect of safety and health of Yaksun cuisine on the intention to maintain relationship was found to be significant, the effects of quality and price on the intention to maintain relationship were not verified. These findings suggest that consumers believe Yaksun cuisine is more beneficial for health than general food and trust the origin label, hygiene, and safety of ingredients in Yaksun cuisine. Therefore, the results of this study suggests providing opportunities for consumers to experience diverse tastes in Yaksun cuisine and that development and promotion of different recipes using Yaksun ingredients will help reinforce competitiveness of Yaksun cuisine in the market and increase sales.

모바일 인스턴트 메신저 이용자의 만족도, 충성도와 전환의도에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (Factors Affecting the Mobile Instant Messenger Satisfaction, Loyalty, and Switching Intention)

  • Purpose: The Purposes of this study are (1) to examine why users are communicating through MIM (2) to understand what factors impact these users' satisfaction and loyalty. Methods: We use a questionnaire survey to collect 256 data on users' perceptions of Kakaotalk. We also use a structural equation modeling method by using AMOS 18.0. Results: Company trust, communication voice, connectedness, and perceived network size are found to be statistically significant factors affecting. Also, satisfaction influence on word of mouth and intention to switch. Conclusion: This study develops a research model from the MIM context. We suggest three points of view as company characteristics, device interactivity, and social factor. We examine the determinants of users' satisfaction and loyalty. The results can offer valuable insights for future mobile services research.

프레이트 포워더의 관계마케팅이 고객반응, 장기적 관계지향성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of a Relationship Marketing on the Customer Response and Long-Term Relationship Orientation in Freight Forwarder)

  • This study aims to analyze a relationship marketing of freight forwarders, and based on this, customer's satisfaction, trust, and long-term relationship orientation are additionally analyzed. Through previous research, a relationship marketing of freight forwarders is considered, at the same time, the key factors of a relationship marketing is divided into reputation, physical feature, size, and professionalism. Targets of survey are companies which are registered in Korea complex transportation forward association. And a total of 292 questionnaires are collected from freight forwarder in Basan and Kyongnam from November 7 through November 18 in 2011. The result of hypothesis testing, show that relations between freight forwarders and customers is mightily important. In the future research, what effects of maintaining relation between freight forwarders and customers should be analyzed.
