This paper proposes a novel method for determining the kind and rating of power quality solutions. To determine the kind of solution, event cause and direction are utilized. According to the event cause and direction, an adequate type of solution is determined for effective compensation. To rate the required capacity of solution, the concept of lost energy is adopted. Lost voltage, lost power and lost energy are calculated and the rating of the solution is determined to compensate a specific event. The rating method that utilizes the result of stochastic diagnosis is also proposed. A power quality index such as CP95 is adopted for solution suggestion. The method developed in this paper is applied to the test system and proved to be useful for enhancing the power quality of the customer system. It can provide customers with information pertaining to what is a proper and cost-effective solution among various compensating devices.

본 논문에서는 Custom Power 응용을 위한 전압 안정화 특성을 갖는 다기능 3상 전자식 강압형 변압기가 제안된다. 제안된 전자식 변압기는 다음과 같은 특징을 갖는다. 1) 무게가 1㎾ 기준 일반 변압기의 40% 수준이다. 2) PWM 제어에 의하여 입력전압의 변동에 무관한 출력전압을 유지하는 전압 안정화 기능을 갖는다 3) 전원 또는 부하단의 Emergency에 대하여 회로 차단기의 기능도 갖는다. 4) 부하에 최초 전원 공급시, 낮은 전압으로부터 점진적으로 증가시켜가면서 전원을 인가하여, 전원 투입시 발생할 수 있는 돌입전류나 과도 충격을 제거할 수 있다. 그 밖에 무부하시 전원차단 기능과, 왜곡된 입력전압에 대한 보상기능을 추가 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 강압형 전자식 변압기의 회로 구성과 특징을 설명하고, 이를 PSPICE 시뮬레이션을 통하여 동작특성을 보인다.

DSTATCOM(distribution static compensator) is one of the custom power devices, and protects a distribution line from unbalanced and harmonic current caused by non-linear and unbalanced loads. Researches about DSTATCOM are mainly divided two parts, one is the calculation of compensation current and the other part is the current control. Conventional researches use a LPF(low pass filter) to eliminate ripple component at the calculation of compensation current. But this method has a problem that LPF's characteristics restrict the compensation performance of instantaneous active and reactive power. This paper proposes a calculation of compensation current using state observer that can be a counterproposal of conventional methods using LPF. Improved performance of instantaneous active and reactive power compensation was shown by experiments.

A objective of this study is to examine a commercial practices and analyze a trade environment for a successful launch of Indonesian market. In general, Indonesian trade environment is composed of a natural environment, religious peculiarity, history and politic, an economic prospect. In order to understand a commercial practice exactly and then be possible a favorable business achievement, a natural character, a mode of living, custom of a meal and invitation, custom of gift, religious taboo, a human relationship, commercial power, a tendency of product preference should be recognized. The results of the study indicate mostly that even though an excellent brand image, a good Quality and an efficient sales network are a basic factor for making of a successful business. However practically it is more important to understand a business custom and a natural character of Indonesian. Because business is made up of through relation between human being eventually.

The health industry of China is faster than before, so it will be rank 5th at world-wide markets in 2010. Firstly, the custom tariff was lower at 15% in 2000 and at 10.4% on June 2005. And, it will be lower into 9.8% in 2010. Secondly, this is because of expansion of purchase power on increase in economic growth, extended human life expectancy. As it is entered the WTO in January 2002, it will positively affect on export of Korea for China. This paper focuses on the analysis of export increase caused by reduction of custom tariff in China. As above mentioned, the time schedule on average reduction of custom tariff was 15% in 2000, 10.4% in 2005. Then, it will be lower into 9.8% in 2010. As the empirical test related health industry, it presents 19.80% export increase rate for China of Korea on reduction of custom tariff from 2001 to 2010. The exporting of drug for China will be up to 17.85% for 10 years. Also, the exporting of Biomedical will be up to 20.99%, and respectively 22.95%, 22.60% in Cosmetics and food industry. Conclusionally, the exporting of this health industry will be increase greatly, compared with any other industries. So, it is necessary that firms increase in R&D investment and government support as policy for health industry.

The principle of parties' autonomy is one of general and dominant principles in an international trade contract. When we consider the determinants of negotiation outcomes, the negotiation is affected its result by their culture and custom. A negotiation has extensively been used a lot as a business process. As we negotiate with our clients, we have to check a lot of factors like strategies, their behaviors, culture shock and custom. That why most people have their different life and circumstance. The same words which are used its contract have several meaning. Because the words are influenced by culture and own custom. Also most people abide by their social pattern. Each culture in the world follows its own customs and traditions. Therefore, when we have the negotiation of trade contract, we have to think these factors. Then the negotiation is leaded very successful This dissertation examines the effects of the negotiators' personality and different culture and custom. On the point of a negotiating power, contracting parties are affected a lot by their usage. The culture which is influenced by contracting parties is possible to apply as a key point. So, this study will be analyzed these factors.

This paper deals with an analysis of SCR thyristor switching pattern for a power quality disturbance generator with phase jump function. The proposed generator can be applied to the performance test of custom power devices. Voltage sag, swell, outage, unbalance and phase jump after outage are provided by the generator. The phase jump operating principle of the generator is described and analysed. Especially, a proper switching of the SCR thyristors for the proposed generator is important to guarantee the system reliability. Therefore the switching patterns for the thyristors in each made were analysed.

산업분야에서 많이 사용되고 있는 컴퓨터나 자동화 제조공정 등은 순간적인 전압저하나 이상전압에 매우 민감하게 반응한다. 부하에 공급되는 전력의 신뢰도의 문제가 증가함에 따라 수용가 측에서는 무정전 전원장치(UPS)와 같은 일정전압을 유지한 수 있는 전력 조절장치들을 사용하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 수용가 전원의 안정화를 위한 제어장치로서 단상 Buck AC-AC 전지변환기를 제안한다. 제안된 전력변환기는 IGBT스위칭 모듈을 사용하고 전압의 저하가 발생했을 때 펄스폭 변조(PWM) 제어에 의하여 일정한 전압을 유지할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 정상상태에서의 동작특성을 해석하고 PSPICE 시뮬레이션으로 동작특성을 확인한다.

정밀하고 소형화된 전자기기 사용의 증가로 인한 전원공급의 질적 향상에 대한 필요성이 강하게 증가하고 있다. 저압전원 배전계통에서의 과도 과전압은 직격 또는 유도뢰에 의해 유도되어지고, 가정, 사무실, 공장 등의 자동화시스템이나 병원설비와 같은 중요한 시스템의 손상이나 고장의 원인이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 임펄스 발생기를 이용하여 배전용 변압기를 거쳐 저압 전원시스템으로 이행되는 뇌과전압의 양상에 대하여 실험적으로 조사하였다. 배전용 변압기의 1차측에 설치한 피뢰기와 수용가측 추가접지는 저압 전원시스템으로 이행되는 뇌서지전압의 제한에는 크게 기여하지 않았다.

Extensible processors provide an efficient mechanism to boost the performance of the whole system without losing much flexibility. However, due to the intense demand of low cost and power consumption, customizing an embedded system has been more difficult than ever. In this paper, we present a framework for custom instruction generation considering both area constraints and resource sharing. We also present how we can speed up the process through pruning and library-based design space exploration.
