  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. The frame and leaflet of the polymer valve were made from polyurethane, To evaluate the hemodynamic performance of the polymer valve a comparative study of flow dynamics past a polymer valve and a St. Jude Medical prosthetic valve under physiological pulsatile flow conditions in vitro was made. Comparisons between the valves were made on the transvalvular pressure drop, regurgitation volume and maximum valve opening area. The polymer valve showed smaller regurgitation volume and transvalvular pressure drop compared to the mechanical valve at higher heart rate. Because the point of maximun temperature of laser-irradiated gelatin exists below the surface due to surface cooling, evaporation at the boiling temperature is made explosively from below the surface. The important parameters of this process are the conduction loss to laser power absorption (defined as the conduction-to-laser power parameter, Nk), the convection heat transfer at the surface to conduction loss (defined as Bi), dimensionless extinction coefficient (defined as Br.), and dimensionless irradiation time (defined as Fo). Dependence of Fo on Nk and Bi has been observed by experiment, and the results have been compared with the numerical results obtained by solving a 2-dimensional conduction equation. Fo and explosion depth (from the surface to the point of maximun temperature) are increased when Nk and Bi are increased.To find out the minimum laser power for explosive evaporative removal process, steady state analysis has been also made. We obtained a two-dimensional current density distribution within a phantom by processing the real and imaginary MR images from a 4.77 NMR machine. Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury. We use combination of MLP and fuzzy filter for pattern recognition to estimate the direction of a muscle and Hogan's method for the force estimation. They include the modules for electrocardiograph, respiration, invasive blood pressure, noninvasive blood pressure, temperature, and SpO2 with Plethysmograph.SpO2 with Plethysmograph.

Optimal stimulus parameters, which can minimize muscle fatigue and can achieve effective muscle contraction were determined in slow and fast muscles in Sprague-Dawley rats. Stimulus patterns of our stimulator were designed to simulate electromyographic activity monitored during locomotion of normal subjects. Muscle types of the lower extremity were classified according to their mechanical property of contraction, which are slow muscle (msoleus m.) and fast muscle (medial gastrocneminus m., rectus femoris m., vastus lateralis m.). Optimal parameters of electrical stimulation for slow muscles were 20 Hz, 0.2 ms square pulse. For fast muscle, 40 Hz, 0.3 ms square pulse was optimal to produce repeated contraction. Higher stimulus intensity was required when synergistic muscles were stimulated simultaneously than when they were stimulated individually. Electrical stimulation for each muscle was designed to generate bipedal locomotion, so that individual muscles alternate contraction and relaxation to simulate stance and swing phases. Portable electrical stimulator with 16 channels built in microprocessor was constructed and applied to paraplegic patients due to lumbar cord injury. 청보리 사일리지 TMR 또는 청호밀 사일리지 TME 급여 및 급여기간이 거세 한우의 증체, 사료비 및 육질특성에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Feeding Whole Crop Barley Silage- or Whole Crop Rye Silage based-TMR and Duration of TMR Feeding on Growth, Feed Cost and Meat Characteristics of Hanwoo Steers)

  • 본 연구는 주요 동계사료작물인 청보리와 청호밀을 이용한 TMR 급여가 한우 거세우의 생산성과 사료비, 그리고 도체특성과 등급판정 및 배최장근의 이화학적 특성에 미치는 효과를 조사하기 위해 한우 거세우 송아지 80두를 대상으로 육성기에서 비육후기까지 총 680일에 걸쳐 실시되었다. 시험사료는 배합사료와 볏짚을 분리 급여하는 관행사양구(Control), 청보리 사일리지 TMR을 비육 중기까지 자유채식토록 하고 비육 후기에는 관행사양구와 동일한 사료를 급여하는 처리구(BS-TMR I), 청보리 사일리지 TMR을 비육 후기까지 자유채식토록 하는 처리구(BS-TMR II), 청호밀 사일리지 TMR을 비육 중기까지 자유채식토록 하고 비육 후기에는 관행 사양구와 동일한 사료를 급여하는 처리구(RS-TMR I), 청호밀 사일리지 TMR을 비육 후기까지 자유채식토록 하는 처리구(RS-TMR II)로 구성하였다. 각 처리 당 거세된 송아지 16두 씩을 배치하였고, 처리 당 거세한우 송아지를 4두씩 4개의 pen에 수용하였으며, 완전임의배치 방법으로 각 처리구의 pen을 배치하였다. 한우 거세우의 증체량은 관행사양구에 비해 육성기 및 비육전기에서 청보리 및 청호밀 사일리지 TMR을 섭취한 처리구에서 다소 높았고 비육 중기에서 현저히 높았으나(P<0.0001) 비육 후기에서는 RS-TMR II를 제외하고는 관행사양구의 한우에서 다소 높은 것으로 나타났다. 한우 두당 kg 증체 당 사료비는 관행사양구의 한우에 비해 청보리 및 청호밀 사일리지 TMR을 섭취한 한우에서 다소 낮았다. 또한 비육 후기까지 사일리지 TMR을 섭취한 처리구(BS-TMR II 및 RS-TMR II)에 비하여 비육 중기까지 사일리지TMR을 섭취하고 비육 후기에는 관행사료를 섭취한 처리구(BS-TMRI 및 RS-TMR I)에서 두당 kg 증체 당 사료비가 다소 감소 되었다. 사일리지 TMR이 관행사료 급여에 비해 한우 거세우의 도체중, 등지방 두께 및 배최장근 면적을 다소 증가시켰으나 육량지수를 낮추었다(P<0.047). 다른 시험사료에 비해 청보리 사일리지 TMR이 근내지방도를 다소 낮추었으나 육질 1등급 이상 출현두수에는 처리 간 차이가 없었다. 한우 거세우 내 배최장근의 화학적성분, 도체특성, 대부분의 육질 특성, 육색 및 지방산 조성은 시험사료에 의한 영향을 받지 않았다. 그러나 전단력은 사일리지 TMR을 섭취한 한우에 비해 관행사양 방법으로 비육된 한우에서 낮았으나(P<0.046) 사일리지 TMR을 섭취한 처리구 간에는 차이가 없었다. 본 시험의 결과로 미루어 보아 배합사료와 볏짚 중심의 관행사양방법에 비하여 BS 또는 RS를 이용한 TMR 급여가 거세한우의 육질에 크게 영향하지 않은 반면 증체를 개선하고 사료비를 절감할수 있을 것이라 여겨진다. 또한 전체적으로는 청보리 및 청호밀 사일리지 TMR의 사료적 가치는 거의 비슷한 것으로 여겨진다.

  • 우리나라에 유통업체상표(Private Label)가 도입된 지 10년이 넘었음에도 불구하고 유통업체 상표에 대한 대부분의 연구는 소비자 관점에서 진행되어져 왔다. 본 연구는 유통업체상표를 소비자 관점이 아닌 제조업체의 관점에서 바라본 연구로, 제조업체의 유통업체상표 생산에 영향을 미치는 내외부적 요인들에 대해서 자원기반이론과 S-C-P Paradigm의 통합적인 연구모형인 전략적 시장관리 관점을 제시하였다. 연구결과를 보면, 제조업체의 마케팅 역량이 높을수록 전체 매출에서 유통업체상표가 차지하는 매출이 적은 것으로 나타났으며, 마케팅 역량에는 제조업체 브랜드명성, 마케팅 투자, 제품포트폴리오 등이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 제조업체의 마케팅 역량과 유통업체 상표 생산 간의 관계에는 제조업체의 경쟁강도가 조절효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 일반적으로 마케팅 역량이 높은(낮은) 기업일수록 전체 매출에서 유통업체상표가 차지하는 비율이 낮지만(높지만), 이러한 기업들 중 경쟁강도를 낮게 지각하는 제조업체의 전체매출 중 유통업체상표가 차지하는 매출은 경쟁강도를 높게 지각하는 제조업체들에 비해 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로, 본 연구는 유통업체상표 생산에 대한 이론 및 실무적인 시사점을 제시하고 있다.

우주개발사업의 지속발전을 위한 국내입법의 개선방향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement on National Legislation for Sustainable Progress of Space Development Project)

  • 우리나라는 1992년 최초의 인공위성 우리별 1호를 발사한 이후, 현재까지 11기의 인공위성을 발사하였다. 2007년 국가우주위원회에서 우주개발중장기 기본계획을 수정 보완한 우주개발진흥계획을 수립하였다. 동 계획에 의하면, 2010년 까지 총 13기의 인공위성 개발, 2020년경까지 한국형 우주발사체 개발, 2021년 달 탐사선 발사 등이 예정되어 있다. 한편 2009년 6월 전남 고흥군 외나로도에 우주센터가 준공되어 동년 8월 우리나라 최초의 소형 우주발사체 나로호 KSLV-1가 1차 발사되었으며, 2010년 6월 나로호가 2차 발사되었다. 유엔에서 채택되어 발효 중인 우주개발 관련 국제조약으로는 1967년 우주조약, 1968년 우주구조반환협정, 1971년 우주손해책임조약, 1972년 우주물체등록조약, 1979년 달 조약 등 5가지 조약이 있으며, 우리나라는 달 조약을 제외한 4가지 조약을 가입 비준하였다. 세계 주요국의 우주개발 관련 국내입법례로는, 미국의 1958년 국가항공우주법 및 1998년 상업우주법, 영국의 1986년 우주법, 프랑스의 1961년 국립우주센터 설립법, 캐나다의 1990년 우주청법, 일본의 2008년 우주기본법, 러시아의 1993년 우주활동법 등이 제정되어 있다. 우리나라의 우주개발 관련 국내입법으로는, 1987년 항공우주산업개발 촉진법, 2005년 우주개발진흥법, 2008년 우주손해배상법 등이 제정 시행되고 있으며, 이러한 국내입법의 개선방향은 다음과 같다. 지식경제부는 2009년 12월 23일 항공우주산업개발촉진법 전부 개정안을 입법 예고하였는 바, 개정안의 주요내용으로는 (1) 법의 제명 "항공우주산업육성법"으로 변경, (2) 항공비행시험장 등 정의규정 신설, (3) 항공우주산업 기본계획 수립, 항공우주산업위원회 설치, (4) 항공우주산업의 육성을 위한 사업, (5) 탐색개발, 국제공동개발, (6) 협동개발, (7) 공제사업, (8) 우주산업의 기반 조성을 위한 사업, (9) 항공우주산업의 집적 활성화, (10) 항공비행시험장의 지정 등, (11) 특정사업자의 지정 및 지원제도 폐지, (12) 성능검사 및 품질검사 폐지 등에 관하여 규정하고 있다. 우주개발진흥법의 개정방향으로는 (1) 우주개발진흥법과 항공우주산업개발촉진법과의 법체계상의 중복문제, (2) 국가우주위원회와 국가과학기술위원회 간에 우주개발에 관한 국가연구개발 예산의 배분, 조정문제, (3) 우주개발에 있어서 환경의 배려 및 보전, (4) 우주개발에 관한 시책 및 규제를 위한 법제상 조치 강구 및 법제의 정비 등의 사항에 관하여 수정 보완이 되어야 할 것이다. 우주손해배상법의 개정방향으로는 (1) 우주손해의 정의와 간접손해, (2) 손해배상책임 한도액의 통화단위, (3) 우주물체 공동발사자의 연대책임 및 구상권, (4) 우주손해배상심의위원회의 설치 등의 사항에 관하여 수정보완이 되어야 할 것이다. 우리나라가 2013년에 우주여행의 실현을 위하여 미국의 민간 유인 우주선 제작사인 XCOR 에어로스페이스사로 부터 우주선을 도입하여 운항할 계획이다. 앞으로 우주여행 관련기업들을 비롯한 상업우주운송 기업체들의 국내진출이 예상되므로 상업우주운송에 대한 안전인증 및 관리감독 체계의 마련이 시급하며, 국내 상업우주운송산업의 육성에 관한 정책개발과 현행 항공법 및 우주개발 관련 법령의 적절한 보완 정비가 필요하다.

  • The International Atomic Energy Agency's Statute in Article III.A.5 allows it“to establish and administer safeguards designed to ensure that special fissionable and other materials, services, equipment, facilities and information made available by the Agency or at its request or under its supervision or control are not used in such a way as to further any military purpose; and to apply safeguards, at the request of the parties, to any bilateral or multilateral arrangement, or at the request of a State, to any of that State's activities in the field of atomic energy”. Safeguards are essentially a technical means of verifying the fulfilment of political obligations undertaken by States and given a legal force in international agreements relating to the peaceful uses of nuclear energy. The main political objectives are: to assure the international community that States are complying with their non-proliferation and other peaceful undertakings; and to deter (a) the diversion of afeguarded nuclear materials to the production of nuclear explosives or for military purposes and (b) the misuse of safeguarded facilities with the aim of producing unsafeguarded nuclear material. It is clear that no international safeguards system can physically prevent diversion. The IAEA safeguards system is basically a verification measure designed to provide assurance in those cases in which diversion has not occurred. Verification is accomplished by two basic means: material accountancy and containment and surveillance measures. Nuclear material accountancy is the fundamental IAEA safeguards mechanism, while containment and surveillance serve as important complementary measures. Material accountancy refers to a collection of measurements and other determinations which enable the State and the Agency to maintain a current picture of the location and movement of nuclear material into and out of material balance areas, i. e. areas where all material entering or leaving is measurab e. A containment measure is one that is designed by taking advantage of structural characteristics, such as containers, tanks or pipes, etc. To establish the physical integrity of an area or item by preventing the undetected movement of nuclear material or equipment. Such measures involve the application of tamper-indicating or surveillance devices. Surveillance refers to both human and instrumental observation aimed at indicating the movement of nuclear material. The verification process consists of three over-lapping elements: (a) Provision by the State of information such as - design information describing nuclear installations; - accounting reports listing nuclear material inventories, receipts and shipments; - documents amplifying and clarifying reports, as applicable; - notification of international transfers of nuclear material. (b) Collection by the IAEA of information through inspection activities such as - verification of design information - examination of records and repo ts - measurement of nuclear material - examination of containment and surveillance measures - follow-up activities in case of unusual findings. (c) Evaluation of the information provided by the State and of that collected by inspectors to determine the completeness, accuracy and validity of the information provided by the State and to resolve any anomalies and discrepancies. To design an effective verification system, one must identify possible ways and means by which nuclear material could be diverted from peaceful uses, including means to conceal such diversions. These theoretical ways and means, which have become known as diversion strategies, are used as one of the basic inputs for the development of safeguards procedures, equipment and instrumentation. For analysis of implementation strategy purposes, it is assumed that non-compliance cannot be excluded a priori and that consequently there is a low but non-zero probability that a diversion could be attempted in all safeguards ituations. An important element of diversion strategies is the identification of various possible diversion paths; the amount, type and location of nuclear material involved, the physical route and conversion of the material that may take place, rate of removal and concealment methods, as appropriate. With regard to the physical route and conversion of nuclear material the following main categories may be considered: - unreported removal of nuclear material from an installation or during transit - unreported introduction of nuclear material into an installation - unreported transfer of nuclear material from one material balance area to another - unreported production of nuclear material, e. g. enrichment of uranium or production of plutonium - undeclared uses of the material within the installation. With respect to the amount of nuclear material that might be diverted in a given time (the diversion rate), the continuum between the following two limiting cases is cons dered: - one significant quantity or more in a short time, often known as abrupt diversion; and - one significant quantity or more per year, for example, by accumulation of smaller amounts each time to add up to a significant quantity over a period of one year, often called protracted diversion. Concealment methods may include: - restriction of access of inspectors - falsification of records, reports and other material balance areas - replacement of nuclear material, e. g. use of dummy objects - falsification of measurements or of their evaluation - interference with IAEA installed equipment.As a result of diversion and its concealment or other actions, anomalies will occur. All reasonable diversion routes, scenarios/strategies and concealment methods have to be taken into account in designing safeguards implementation strategies so as to provide sufficient opportunities for the IAEA to observe such anomalies. The safeguards approach for each facility will make a different use of these procedures, equipment and instrumentation according to the various diversion strategies which could be applicable to that facility and according to the detection and inspection goals which are applied. Postulated pathways sets of scenarios comprise those elements of diversion strategies which might be carried out at a facility or across a State's fuel cycle with declared or undeclared activities. All such factors, however, contain a degree of fuzziness that need a human judgment to make the ultimate conclusion that all material is being used for peaceful purposes. Safeguards has been traditionally based on verification of declared material and facilities using material accountancy as a fundamental measure. The strength of material accountancy is based on the fact that it allows to detect any diversion independent of the diversion route taken. Material accountancy detects a diversion after it actually happened and thus is powerless to physically prevent it and can only deter by the risk of early detection any contemplation by State authorities to carry out a diversion. Recently the IAEA has been faced with new challenges. To deal with these, various measures are being reconsidered to strengthen the safeguards system such as enhanced assessment of the completeness of the State's initial declaration of nuclear material and installations under its jurisdiction enhanced monitoring and analysis of open information and analysis of open information that may indicate inconsistencies with the State's safeguards obligations. Precise information vital for such enhanced assessments and analyses is normally not available or, if available, difficult and expensive collection of information would be necessary. Above all, realistic appraisal of truth needs sound human judgment.

각인각색, 각봇각색: ABOT 속성과 소비자 감성 기반 소셜로봇 디자인평가 모형 개발 (Different Look, Different Feel: Social Robot Design Evaluation Model Based on ABOT Attributes and Consumer Emotions)

  • 최근 인간과 상호작용할 수 있는 '소셜로봇'을 활용하여 복잡하고 다양한 사회문제를 해소하고 개인의 삶의 질을 제고하려는 시도가 주목받고 있다. 과거 로봇은 인간을 대신해서 산업 현장에 투입되고 노동력을 제공해주는 존재로 인식되었다. 그러나 오늘날의 로봇은 각종 산업분야를 관통하는 핵심 키워드인 'Smart'의 등장을 기점으로 인간과 함께 공존하며 사회적 교감이 가능한 '소셜로봇(Social Robot)'으로 그 개념이 확장되고 있다. 구체적으로 고객을 응대하는 서비스 로봇, 에듀테인먼트(Edutainment) 성격의 로봇, 그리고 인간과의 교감, 상호작용에 주목한 감성로봇 등이 출시되고 있다. 그러나 4차 산업혁명을 계기로 ICT 서비스 환경이 급격한 발전을 이룬 현재까지 소셜로봇의 대중화는 체감되지 않고 있다. 소셜로봇의 핵심 기능이 사용자와의 사회적 교감임을 고려하면, 소셜로봇의 대중화를 촉진하기 위해서는 기기에 적용되는 기술 이외의 요소들도 중요하게 고려할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 로봇의 디자인 요소가 소셜로봇에 대한 소비자들의 구매를 이끌어내는데 중요하게 작용할 것으로 판단한다. 로봇의 외형이 유발하는 감성은 사용자의 인지, 추론, 평가와 기대를 형성하는 과정에서 중요한 영향을 미치며 나아가 로봇에 대한 태도와 호감 그리고 성능 추론 등에도 영향을 줄 수 있다. 그러나 소셜로봇에 대한 기존 연구들은 로봇의 개발방법론을 제안하거나, 소셜로봇이 사용자에게 제공하는 효과를 단편적으로 검증하는 수준에 머무르고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 소셜로봇의 외형으로부터 사용자가 느끼는 감성이 소셜로봇에 대한 사용자의 태도에 미치는 영향을 검증해보고자 한다. 이때 서로 다른 출처의 이종 데이터 간 결합을 통하여 소셜로봇 디자인평가 모형을 구성한다. 구체적으로 소셜로봇의 외형에 대하여 사전에 구축된 ABOT Database로부터 다수의 소셜로봇에 대한 세 가지 정량적 지표 데이터를 확보하였다. 소셜로봇의 디자인 감성은 (1) 기존의 디자인평가 문헌과 (2) 소셜로봇 제품 후기와 블로그 등의 온라인 구전, (3) 소셜로봇 디자인에 대한 정성적인 인터뷰를 통해 도출하였다. 이후 사용자 설문을 통하여 각각의 소셜로봇에 대해 사용자가 느끼는 감성과 태도에 대한 평가를 수집하였다. 세부적인 감성 평가항목 23개에 대하여, 차원 축소 방법론을 통해 6개의 감성 차원을 도출하였다. 이어서 도출된 감성 차원들이 사용자의 소셜로봇에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 회귀분석을 수행하여 감성과 태도 간의 관계를 파악해 보았다. 마지막으로 정량적으로 수집된 소셜로봇의 외형에 대한 지표가 감성과 태도 간의 관계에 영향을 줄 수 있음을 검증하기 위해 조절회귀분석을 수행하였다. 기술적인ABOT Database 속성 지표들과 감성 차원들 간의 순수조절효과를 확인하고, 도출된 조절효과에 대한 시각화를 수행하여 외형, 감성, 그리고 태도 간의 관계를 다각적인 관점에서 해석하였다. 본 연구는 이종간 데이터를 연결하여 소셜로봇의 기술적 속성과 소비자 감성, 태도까지 변수 간 관계를 총체적으로 실증 분석했다는 점에서 이론적 공헌을 가지며, 소셜로봇 디자인 개발 전략에 대한 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 기준으로 소비자 감성의 활용 가능성을 제안하였다는 실무적 의의를 가진다.

중국 한단시 자연성지 내 노거수의 특성과 관리방안 (A Study on the Characteristics and Management Plan of Old Big Trees in the Sacred Natural Sites of Handan City, China)

  • 첫째, 본 연구는 지역 원림국이 집계한 한단시 노거수의 수종과 수령 등 기본 정보를 결합해 노거수의 공간적 분포 특징을 ArcGIS 그림으로 분석하였다. 수종의 유형, 수령분포, 소유권 현황, 성장세 및 다양성 현황을 종합적으로 분석하였다. 통계적으로 콩나무과의 회화나무속, 아카시아속, 쥐엄나무속, 자귀나무속이 다수의 비중을 차지하였고, 이중 회화나무은 가장 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 회화나무는 한단시 각 현 및 구에 이르기까지 널리 또한 집중적으로 군락을 이루어 분포되어 있었다. 수령 및 분포를 보면 1000년 이상의 노거수는 회화나무, 느티나무, 향나무, 산뽕나무, 황단나무, 쥐엄나무, 황련목, 측백나무가 주를 이루었다. 둘째, 각 유형의 노거수 현황에서 발견한 바와 같이 다양한 유형의 노거수의 현황을 조사한 결과, 한단시 노거수보호 관리 체계, 보호 관리 과정 및 보호 관리 이점을 연구하여 자연성지 보호 관리에서 한단시 노거수의 역할을 분석하여, 노거수의 보호는 주로 지역사회를 주체로 하는 문화, 신앙적 보호형태를 보이며 보호상태는 성장환경과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 현재 노거수 보호의 핵심 동력은 주로 노거수에 대한 숭배이다. 그 신성함을 노거수에 기탁하여 자연이 노거수에 부여한 자연적 성품을 사회 활동의 지도의식으로 승화시켜 자연의 '미(美)'와 인격의 '선(善)'이 잘 결합되어 있다. 노거수의 보호 상태는 주변 환경과의 상호 작용 정도 및 여러 문화 및 주체의 참여와 밀접한 관련이 있다. 장기간의 노거수 성장 과정에서 점차 주변 환경과 지속적으로 상호 작용하여 상향식 및 하향식의 교차 지역, 다문화 및 다중 주체가 참여하는 '자연-문화-경관' 시스템이 자발적으로 구축되는 과정에서 노거수를 중심으로 자연성지가 형성된 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 중국은 노거수보호와 회복 조치를 중점으로 하였지만, 노거수 자원의 관리 과정에서 노거수에 대한 역사, 문화적 가치, 식물 다양성 의의 및 사회적 가치에 대한 종합적인 고려가 부족하여 보호 관리시스템이 허술하다. 공간의 지역적 특징, 재산권 및 보호 상 특징, 가치상 특징의 세 가지 지표는 한단시 노거수의 자연성지 평가에 있어서 노거수를 중심으로 하여 자발적으로 형성 중인 자연성지를 발견할 수 있으며, 이는 전통 의식 관리, 자원 보호 실천, 신앙 체계 구축, 생명공동체 가치 실현 면에서 높은 가치가 있다. 이들을 장기간 보호하고 발전시킬 수 있는지에 대해서는 체계적인 관리 체계가 뒷받침되어야 한다. 넷째, 현재 중국에서는 보호 구역에 대한 인식이 아직 성숙하지 않아 '자연성지'는 자연보호구역 체계가 구축되는 과정에서 중요한 연구 내용으로 다루어야 한다. 상향식 지역사회 참여를 주체로 하는 자연성지 관리 형태는 현재 중국의 하향식 자연보호구역 관리 유형에 대한 강력한 보완이다. 이를 기초로 하여 노거수 보호를 자연보호구역 체계에서 천연기념물이라는 자연보호구역 형태에 포함해야 한다. 또한 자연보호구역 주변 지역 주민도 생물 다양성 보전의 주체 중 하나가 되어야 한다.

외식 프랜차이즈 가맹본부의 관리 및 지원정책과 가맹점 사업자의 경영자적 특성이 양자간 관계와 가맹점의 만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of the Dine-out Franchise Headquarter's Management and Support Policies and Franchise Business Operator's Managerial Characteristics on the Bilateral Relationship and Franchise Store's Satisfaction)

  • 본 연구는 프랜차이즈 가맹본부와 가맹점간의 관계에 주안점을 두고, 가맹본부와 가맹점사업자의 특성이 신뢰와 몰입과 같은 양자간의 관계에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고 이러한 신뢰와 몰입이 재계약의도가 포함된 가맹점의 만족에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 현재와 같이 시장의 불확실성이 높은 상황에서 시장 불확실성 요인이 가맹본부 및 가맹점 사업자의 특성과 신뢰 및 몰입과의 관계에 어떠한 영향을 미칠 것인지에 대해서도 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구결과 가맹본부의 특성 가운데 가맹본부의 표준화관리는 가맹본부에 대한 가맹점의 신뢰와 몰입을 저해시키는 것으로 나타났고, 가맹본부의 지원은 가맹점의 신뢰와 몰입을 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 가맹본부의 가맹점에 대한 통제와 인센티브 정책은 가맹본부에 대한 가맹점의 신뢰 및 몰입에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 가맹점사업자의 특성 가운데는 가맹점의 건전한 재무상태와 기업가 정신이 가맹본부에 대한 신뢰와 몰입을 높여주는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 가맹점사업자의 우수한 사업능력은 오히려 가맹본부에 대한 몰입을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 가맹본부에 대한 신뢰와 몰입은 가맹본부에 대한 만족을 높여주어 재계약의도를 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 추가적으로 시장 불확실성에 따라 가맹점사업자의 특성이 본부에 대한 신뢰와 몰입에 미치는 효과가 차이가 있을 것으로 생각하였으나, 불확실성의 인식정도에 따라 가맹점 사업자의 특성이 미치는 효과는 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 가맹본부가 지속적으로 성장 발전하기 위해서 가맹점에게 시설투자나 마케팅 비용부담을 전가하여 가맹점으로부터 수익을 강제적으로 얻으려 하기 보다는 가맹점의 영업활동이 잘 될 수 있도록 가맹본부가 가맹점을 적극적으로 지원을 해줌으로써 가맹점의 수익이 가맹본부의 수익으로 연결될 수 있게 하는 것이 양자의 발전을 위해 더욱 바람직한 방향임을 보여주는 결과라 할 수 있을 것이다.

우주조약의 국제법적 의미에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Meaning of Outer Space Treaty in International Law)

  • 필자는 우주조약의 국제법적 의미에 관하여 첫째, 우주활동의 법원칙선언조항, 둘째, 세부조약으로 발전한 조항 그리고 마지막으로 우주조약의 보완사항에 관한 최근 동향으로 분류하여 설명하였다. 1963년 12월 13일 UN총회의 '우주법선언'을 반영한 우주조약은 그 세부조약으로 1968년 구조협정, 1972년 책임협약, 1975년 등록협약을 제정하였다. 2013년 5월 기준으로 102개국이 가입하고 27개국이 서명한 우주조약은 그야말로 우주법의 '마그나 카르타'(Magna Carta) 내지는 우주의 헌법이라고 불릴 정도로 우주법의 가장 기본이 되는 원칙을 담고 있고, 특히 달과 다른 천체를 포함한 우주를 비전유원칙인 '국제공역'(res extra commercium)으로 선언함으로서 우주에 대한 영유권 문제를 종식시켰다는 점에서 큰 의미를 찾을 수 있다. 우주조약이 제정된지 반세기가 되어가는 시점에서 우주조약에서 규정하고 있는 조항 중 우주활동은 모든 국가들의 이익을 위한다는 원칙(제1조), 외기권 우주의 자유로운 탐사와 이용(제1조), 전유화금지(제2조)와 타국의 권리존중(제9조)은 조약법은 물론 모든 국가들을 구속하는 국제관습법과 '강행규범'(jus cogens)으로까지 발전된 조항이라고 할 수 있다. 특히 우주조약은 투명성과 개방성을 규범적으로 요구하고 있다. 이것은 우주활동이 '전세계적 공공 이익'(global public interest)과 관련되어 있음을 시사하고 있다. 이러한 우주에서의 '전세계적 공공이익'에 대한 원리는 국제공동체에게 '대세적 의무'(obligation erga omnes)를 부과하고 있는데, 우주를 모든 인류의 영역이라고 선언한 점, 우주에서의 협력의 의무, 우주비행사를 인류의 사절이라고 한 점, 우주활동에서 해로운 오염을 피하라고 한 점, 우주활동을 국가, 사적 실체 그리고 정부간 조직체(IGOs)로 제한한 점, 우주활동으로 인한 손해배상에 대한 절대책임원칙, 우주에서의 핵무기 및 대량파괴무기 배치 금지, 우주활동의 공개성과 투명성 그리고 국제우주제도의 보편적 적용 등이 이를 뒷받침 해주고 있다. 현재 우주조약의 해석을 두고 많은 논란이 있는 조항들이 있고 제정당시 예상 못했던 우주기술의 발달과 상업화로 인해 보충해야 할 주제도 많이 생겨나서 현재 COPUOS 내에서 1979년 달조약을 포함한 현행 우주관련 5개 조약의 지위검토를 법률소위원회에 의제로 포함시킬 것을 제의하여 1998년 제37차 법률소위원회부터 정식으로 승인받아 현재까지 논의되고 있다. 그러나 필자는 '우주법선언'의 내용들이 이미 국제관습법으로 굳어 졌으며, 이를 거의 반영한 우주조약의 상당부분 조항들이 이제는 국제관습법화 되었고, 심지어는 강행규범(jus cogens)이 된 조항들도 있다는 면에서 우주조약의 성과는 국제법상 매우 큰 의미를 지녔다고 평가하고 싶다. 앞으로 우주조약 이외에 우주관련세부조약들로도 해결하지 못하는 분야들은 COPUOS나 UN을 통하여 보완적인 결의와 선언들로 계속 반영되어야 할 것이며 만일 별도의 조약제정이 불가능하다면 적당한 시기에 우주조약을 포함하여 세부조약의 개정을 통하여 또는 추가의정서를 만들어 보완하면 좋을 것이라고 생각한다. 우주조약은 그 개념들의 모호성 때문에 수많은 학자들로부터 비난을 받아왔지만 그럼에도 불구하고 계속 존속해 왔다는 사실을 간과해서는 안 될 것이다. 현재 우주폐기물과 관련하여 "IADC 우주폐기물 경감 가이드라인", COPUOS의 "우주폐기물감축 가이드라인", 세계국제법협회(ILA)의 "우주폐기물로 인한 피해로부터 환경을 보호하기 위한 국제협약 초안" 등이 우주조약을 보완하고 있고, 분쟁해결에 관하여 세계국제법협회(ILA)가 1998년 타이페이(Taipei) 회의에서 채택한 "우주법분쟁해결에 관한 협약안"을 제시한 바 있고, 2011년 중재재판소(PCA)가 "우주활동관련 분쟁의 중재재판에 관한 선택규칙"을 제정하고, 2012년 우주활동관련 분쟁의 중재재판관을 새롭게 임명하였다는 점은 우주법이 계속 발전되어 가고 있다는 모습을 보여주고 있다. 한편 UNIDROIT(국제사법통일기구)에서는 우주자산의 구입 및 조달에 필요한 담보금 거래시 국제적으로 통일된 담보거래 규칙을 위한 "이동장비국제담보권협약에 대한 우주자산의정서"는 우주조약이 해결하지 못하고 있는 분야는 별도의 조약체결을 통하여도 보완되고 있다는 가능성을 보여주고 있는 것이다.
