Identity authentication sharing technologies which allow many service providers to share the result of identity authentication of an identity provider receive high attention as alternatives for current problematic identity authentications in the next-generation Internet environment, since they can provide crucial advantages including high usability, cost effectiveness of service providers, and privacy protection. However, in order for the identity authentication sharing technologies to be widely deployed in global Internet scale, the interoperability problem among different identity authentication sharing protocols and the trustworthiness issue among the participating identity providers, service providers, and users should be resolved in advance. This paper firstly analyzes current status of the protocol interoperability issue and existing trust frameworks for identity authentication sharing. And then, based on the result of analysis, this paper proposes a next generation identity authentication sharing architecture for global Internet.

Nowadays, Social Network Service (SNS), which has been in the spotlight as a way of communication, has become a most effective tool to improve easy of information use and accessibility for users. In this paper, we chose Twitter as the most representative SNS services because of automatic crawling and investigated tweet data gathered from domestic and foreign National Archives - NARA of U.S.A., TNA of U.K.. NAA of Australia, and National Archives of Korea. We also conducted information genres analysis and trend analysis by timeline. Information genres analysis shows how archives satisfied users' information needs as well as trends analysis of tweets helps to understand how users' interestedness was changed. Based on comparison results, we distilled four characteristics of National Archives and suggested vitalization ways for National Archives of Korea.
In order to improve e-Trade service, this paper has deduced impeding factors after review of precedent research on e-Trade and analysis of e-Trade current status. Then an empirical analysis of whether variables deduced are detrimental factors to utilization of e-Trade service has been made on the basis of a research model and relevant hypotheses. The scope of e-Trade service indicated in this paper is limited to use of uTradeHub system. Analytical results for the improvement of e-Trade service clearly indicate that the higher the impeding factor to utilization of the system integration, logistics and customs clearance, marketing and users field, the more necessary the service improvement for invigoration of e-Trade service. However, foreign exchange field does not seem to require attention because SMEs have not active will to do electronic payment through the process of electronic documents.

After the pandemic, universities are shifting to distance learning, and the information use environment of libraries is rapidly changing. Therefore, there is a need for academic libraries to provide learning and research support services to users in response to these changes. This study analyzed the following contents, focusing on the contents of online services of academic libraries in order to understand the services provided by academic libraries after the pandemic, 1) the current status of online information services provided by 60 academic libraries at domestic and foreign and 2) the experience and requirements for using the online information services of academic library were investigated. As a result of the study, academic libraries at domestic and foreign responded to the untact environment by providing various online information services and users showed high experience and requirements for the electronic resource service and online user education service of academic libraries after the outbreak of the pandemic. Based on the analysis of the current status of online information services provided by domestic and foreign academic libraries after the outbreak of the pandemic, as well as the experiences and requirements of university students, several strategies were proposed to improve the quality of university education and library online information services and to plan services that respond to user needs.
Objective: This study aims to draw an efficient UI design by comparing the usability of App drawer and single-layered home screens, which are smartphone home screens. Background: Because smartphone home screen is frequently used including the installation, deletion, and editing of APPs, it should be designed with easily controllable information structure. There is a need to seek a user-friendly UI by comparing the usability of App drawer and single-layered home screens, of which methods to search Apps are different. There is also a need to examine an efficient UI and the factors to improve from the user perspective. Method: This study targeted 30 Android OS and iOS users to evaluate the App drawer and single-layered home screens, of which UI structures are different. Each participant was instructed to carry out an App searching task and App deleting task, and the execution time and the number of errors were measured. After the tasks were completed, they evaluated satisfaction through a questionnaire survey. Results: In the App searching task with low task level, there was no difference in execution level between the App drawer and single-layered home screens. However, the single-layered home screen showed higher efficiency and accuracy in the App deleting task with high task level. As for the group difference according to use experience, there was no difference in satisfaction among Android OS users, but iOS user satisfaction with single-layered home screen with which they were familiar was higher. Conclusion: As for home screen usability, the single-layered home screen UI structure can be advantageous, as task level is higher. Repulsion was higher, when users, who had used easier UI, used complex UI in comparison with user satisfaction, when users familiar with complex UI used easier UI. A UI indicating the current status with clear label marking through a task flow chart-based analysis, and a UI in which a user can immediately recognize by exposing hidden functions to the first depth were revealed as things to improve. Application: The results of this study are expected to be used as reference data in designing smartphone home screens. Especially, when iOS users use Android OS, the results are presumed to contribute to the reduction of predicted barriers.

The study then examined ideas to promote the availability of the facilities. The results showed that for the users, they had been using the facilities for gathering and information-sharing, and the facilities were improving the interactions among the locals. In terms of non-users, the study confirmed that any relevant fields should develop diverse programs, start promotions in various ways and establish networks among neighbors to increase the non-users' use of the facilities In addition, the study found that the village-unit core facilities are working to encourage interactions among residents and that the locals' voluntary participation in operation of the facilities are needed. Background: Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) has been used frequently, and its use continues to increase in lung cancer patients, despite insufficient scientific of its efficacy. To investigate this situation, we analyzed the current awareness and use of CAM in Korean lung-cancer patients. Methods: This prospective survey-based study was performed at seven medical centers in South Korea between August and October 2019. The survey assessed general patient characteristics and the awareness and use of CAM. We analyzed differences in the clinical parameters of patients aware and not aware of CAM and of CAM non-users and users. Results: Of the 434 patients included in this study, 68.8% responded that they were aware of CAM and 30.9% said they had experienced it. In univariate analysis, the patients aware of CAM were younger with poor performance status, had advanced-stage lung cancer, received more systemic therapy, and received concurrent chemoradiation therapy (CCRT). By multiple logistic regression, younger age, poor performance status, advanced stage, and prior CCRT were identified as independent risk factors for CAM awareness. There were no significant differences in the general characteristics and cancer-associated clinical parameters of CAM non-users and users. Conclusion: Specific clinical parameters were associated with patients' awareness of CAM, although there were no significantly different characteristics between CAM users and non-users.
