Compomer that release fluoride could be used on proximal caries of child effectively. But oral cavity is always wet, so saliva inhibits bonding of tooth and compomer. When the saliva exist on bonding, it can be occured microleakages. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of salivary contamination on compomer restoration and degree of microleakage according to restoration methods. Dyract $AP^{(R)}$ and prime and $bond^{(R)}$ NT was applied by the manufacture s instructions. Elipar Trilight was applied for light curing. Saliva pool was made for reconstruction of oral cavity. Two premolar was embedded in acrylic resin. After class II cavity preperation, Dyract $AP^{(R)}$ was restored under several condition, the specimen was thermocycled 500 times with 30 second dwell time. 0.5% methylene blue was used for microleakage test. Micoleakage was measured by the ratio of the infiltration length to occlusal and gingival side interface. Data were analyzed statistically using Kruskal Wallis Test, Mann-Whitney Test. The Result were as follows ; 1. In occlusal side, there were no statistical differences. 2. In gingival side, there were no statistical differences in Group III ($ContactMatrix^{TM}$, Rubber dam, $Oraseal^{(R)}$), Group IV (No saliva contamination). 3. In gingival side, there were no statistical differences in Group I$(ContactMatrix^{TM})$, II($ContactMatrix^{TM}$, Rubber dam). 4. In gingival side, there were statistical differences in Group I$(ContactMatrix^{TM})$, II($ContactMatrix^{TM}$, Rubber dam).

Two-step or one-step bonding systems generally inhibit curing process of dual-cured core build-up resin composite for their adhesive acidity. In addition this dual-cured core build-up resin composite can be applied to dentin of pulp chamber and root at the time that complete the endodontic treatment. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the influence of sodium hypochlorite on rnicrotensile bond strength of dual-cured core build-up resin composite. Extracted human molars were horizontally sectioned with 1mm thickness using low speed diamond saw. After the sectioned specimens were divided into 8 groups, adhesive systems (Clearfil SE-Bond, Prime&Bond NT[2-step, 1-step], Adper Prompt L-Pop) were then applied with or without sodium hypochlorite pretreatment. The treated specimen was filled with dual-cured core build-up resin composite (Luxacore, DMG corp., German). Then light cured for 40 seconds and soaked in $37^{\circ}C$ water bath for 24 hours. After the treated specimen was grinded with 1mm width and measured rnicrotensile bond strength by testing machine. Additionally 8 teeth were prepared for SEM evaluation. The results were as follows. : NaOCl treated groups generally had lower rnicrotensile bond strength but did not show any difference statistically except Adper Prompt L-Pop. When the teeth were treated by NaOCl, though the difference of applied adhesive system, it had no statistically significant difference within the NaOCl treated groups except the relation of between ClearFil SE-Bond adhesive system and Adper Prompt L-Pop adhesive system. In the SEM evaluation, NaOCl treated groups presented relatively long resin tags and incomplete hybrid layer formation generally.
Two kinds of novel bifunctional methacrylated prepolymers (170-2MA and 631-2MA) which have similar structure with 2,2-bis[4- (2'-hynroxy-3'-methacryloyloxypropoxy)phenyl] propane (Bis-GMA) was synthesized for dental applications as an alternative to Bis-GMA containing bisphenol A that is doubtful as an endocrine disrupter. The organic matrices were prepared by mixing a diluent and/or a monomer with the synthesized methacrylated prepolymers. The yield, viscosity, and chemical structures of the prepolymers and the physical and methanical properties of the organic matrices were evaluated. The yields of the prepolymers synthesized through a ring-opening reaction of epoxy compound and methacrylic acid were above 90% and the viscosities of the prepolymers were much lower than that of the Bis-GMA control. From the results of $^1H-NMR$ and FTIR analyses, the chemical structures of the prepolymers were similar to that of Bis-GMA. In addition, the curing time, poly-merization shrinkage, photoconversion, polymerization depth, and compressive strength of the organic matrices formulated with 170-2MA and 631-2MA prepolymers exhibited comparable to or better than those of the existing Bis-GMA-based one. These results suggest that the novel methacrylated prepolymers which have no endocrine disrupter can be an alternative to Bis-GMA and be applicable to dental polymer materials.

Safety accidents, called industrial accidents in construction work, are causing a lot of casualties, property damage and social controversy in the event of an accident, causing the construction to lose public confidence. The risk of safety accidents at construction sites may continue to increase as the construction of high-rise, large-scale, and multi-purpose complex buildings has increased in recent years. In particular, the most frequently constructed apartment construction among reinforced concrete buildings is designed and constructed with a wall-like structure with no beams for each floor, while the lower floors are made of lamen with columns and beams. As a result, the transfer beam or transfer slab to withstand the upper load is installed on the upper part of the Ramen structure, so the system Dongbari, which is installed as a temporary material during concrete laying construction, may collapse at any time during plowing and curing. The purpose of this study is to apply IT convergence technology to prevent the collapse of the system Dongbari during concrete installation, and to apply many of the variables that may occur during construction on a case-by-case basis to check the stability of the system Dongbari and to propose a model of the anti-conducting prediction system.

Urethane waterproofing materials which currently being used most commonly in the Korean domestic market have high applicability and construct layers without forming any joints, but under the influence of low temperature and low humidity, as well as the thickness of the applied layer, the curing time of this material may become extended in construction sites. To resolve these issues, a proposed method of using water-hardening type of polyurethane waterproofing materials are being developed. However, there currently lacks any standards or evaluation methods on determining an optimal mixture ratio of water for the water-hardening polyurethane waterproofing materials. Therefore, workers and construction workers are relying on their hands-on-skills and experience to determine this ratio and are not able to obtain a consistent performance quality out of these materials. Therefore, for the establishment of a board applicability of the water-hardening polyurethane waterproofing methods in construction sites, this study objectively analyzes the changes in the performance of these materials depending on the changes of the water mixture ratio and attempts to procure the optimal ratio on the basis of forming a provisionary standard. The study prepares mixtures of varying ratio(no water added, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50) and conducts comparative analysis respective mixtures' performances and their changes in the physical properties in an objective manner and proposes a provisional optimal value that can serve as a data base that can be used as a reference for future studies.

In this study, fundamental properties of cement were reviewed to apply high fineness cement at low temperature environment. The classified high fineness cement has large proportion of particles below $10{\mu}m$ which affects early hydration: an overall reaction of cement hydration faster. As a result of using high fineness cement, setting time of concrete was reduced and compressive strength was higher than OPC at all ages. Especially, compressive strength was more than double its value compared with OPC after three days curing in low temperature. Faster reaction and higher heat of hydration was verified by calorimetry early and maximum heat of hydration was analyzed by adiabatic temperature raising test. The analysis of this study confirmed that high fineness cement can be suitable to be used in low temperature environment.

Floor mortar experiences dry shrinkage by temperature and humidity difference of internal matrix with material type. Also, since floor mortar is influenced by environmental conditions during placing and curing period, cracks are likely to be occurred. In this study, it was evaluated the hardening and dry shrinkage properties of non-sintered binder based floor mortar utilizing alpha-hemihydrate gypsum which has expansibility in order to prevent crack of the floor mortar. It was applied to the construction site, and examined the effects of external environmental conditions on shrinkage deformation and cracking. Different types of slag accelerated initial and final setting in comparison with cement mortar and its compressive strength was satisfied standard compressive strength for floor mortar. Also shrinkage deformation behavior after the initial expansion exhibited a similar tendency with the cement mortar. From the field application result, no crack was found from slag mortar, and it is determined that the slag mortar has better dimensional stability than cement mortar caused by external environment conditions.
Recently, in many laboratories and institutes it is being studied on the high flowing concrete widely, which has high fluidity, non-segregation ability and fillingability, and sometimes being applied to the construction field actually. And the fluidity properties of high flowing concrete are influenced according to the several factors ; binder content, water/binder ratio and water content etc. This is an experimental study to compare and analyze the effect of water/binder ratio and water content on the properties of high flowing concrete. For this purpose, the mix proportion of high flowing concrete according to water/binder ratio(W/B : 0.30, 0.35, 0.40, 0.45) and water content (W : 155, 165, 175, 185 kg/㎥) was selected. And then slump-flow, V-lot, L-passing test in fresh concrete, and compressive strength, freezing and thawing test in hardened concrete were peformed. According to test results, it was found that the viscosity of all those high flowing concrete with the water content 175 kg/㎥ was satisfied with 50 cm pass time of slump flow prescribed by Japanese Architectural Standard Specification (JASS 5) - from 3 to 8 seconds. And non-segregation ability of concrete with W/B 0.35 was better than the other mix proportions. Especially, the compressive strength after curing 24 hours(1 day) of all high flowing concrete was higher than that prescribed by JASS 5(50 kgf/㎠).

In recent years, the early strength of concrete is important in order to shorten the time of form removal at the construction site. The purpose of this study is to analyze the moment of form removal as investigating the amount of cement contents and the physical properties and strength of the concrete according to types of admixture in the curing temperature of $10^{\circ}C$ for concrete of 21 to 27 MPa. As a result, it was found that compressive strength of concrete could not be secured 5 MPa by 36 hours even if the amount of cement contents were increased to $360kg/m^3$ with plain admixture. Also, it was confirmed that the strength improvement rate was excellent when using the accelerating agent with polycarboxylic acid type, and the moment of compressive strength of 5 MPa was estimated at 30 hours.
Objectives: This study investigated the optimal combination of 3-component photoinitiation system, consisting of CQ, p-octyloxy-phenyl-phenyl iodonium hexafluoroantimonate (OPPI), and 2-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) to increase the degree of conversion of resin monomers, and analyze the effect of the ratio of the photoinitiator to the co-initiator. Materials and Methods: Each photoinitiators (CQ and OPP) and co-initiator (DMAEMA) were mixed in three levels with 0.2 wt.% (low concentration, L), 1.0 wt.% (medium concentration, M), and 2.0 wt.% (high concentration, H). A total of nine groups using the Taguchi method were tested according to the following proportion of components in the photoinitiator system: LLL, LMM, LHH, MLM, MMH, MHL, HLH, HML, HHM. Each monomer was polymerized using a quartz-tungsten-halogen curing unit (Demetron 400, USA) for 5, 20, 40, 60, 300 sec and the degree of conversion (DC) was determined at each exposure time using FTIR. Results: Significant differences were found for DC values in groups. MMH group and HHM group exhibited greater initial DC than the others. No significant difference was found with the ratio of the photoinitiators (CQ, OPPI) to the co-initiator (DMAEMA). The concentrations of CQ didn't affect the DC values, but those of OPPI did strongly. Conclusions: MMH and HHM groups seem to be best ones to get increased DC. MMH group is indicated for bright, translucent color and HHM group is good for dark, opaque colored-resin.
