The aim of this study is to clarify aesthetic values and sociocultural meanings that reappears in contemporary fashion. In order to analyze aesthetic values and symbolic meanings of body decoration, I examined the concepts and expression methods of the body decoration. Also, analyzed external characteristics of expression and its internal meanings that applied in modern fashion. The expressions of body decoration represented in contemporary fashion are classified into direct and indirect methods. The direct method is expressed by tattoos, piercing, henna, make-up and body painting. And, indirect method is expressed by see-through look, body-conscious look and accessories that were utilized its patterns and the material adaptation methods. Such expression of body decoration in the modern fashion was represented into grotesque images and erotic images. The characteristics of grotesque images are abnormal state, hateful animal image and distorted or transformed body and the internal meanings are the pursuit of primitive, exoticism, the pursuit of playfulness, and resistance. The characteristics of erotic images are an exposure of body, see through, body-conscious and androgynous look and the internal meanings are the self-intoxication, naturalism and sexual pleasure.

Conventional techniques for solving the noise problem have problems to generate different results, depending on the image size and weight values of the used masks, and they require many operations by using a complex formula. In this paper, we propose an image enhancement algorithm to solve the noise problem in a simple, yet easy-to-use way. For this purpose, we determined the difference between the noise of the two adjacent pixels for the horizontal and vertical, and for the two diagonal directions that each of the noise problem occurred, and then we got the average value of these pixel values. Then, we solve the noise problem by using the optimal average value in accordance with occurrence of the noise in the horizontal and vertical, and two adjacent pixels in a diagonal direction. As a result, we got the result that the noise solution in a simple, yet easy-to-use method to obtain a resultant image.

This study was conducted to evaluate the quality characteristics and antioxidant activities of salad dressing prepared with acaiberry powder (0, 1, 3, and 5%). The pH and titratable acidity increased as the acaiberry powder increased. The sugar content showed no significant differences between samples. The viscosity was lowest in the controls and increased with increasing amounts of the acaiberry powder. The lightness and yellowness values decreased, while the redness values increased with increasing amounts of acaiberry powder. The total polyphenol content ranged from 10.26-45.19 mg GAE/100 g, increasing with increased acaiberry powder levels. The antioxidant activities measured via DPPH radical scavenging activity, reducing power and FRAP also increased with increasing acaiberry powder concentrations. Finally, a consumer acceptance test revealed that up to 3% acaiberry powder could be added to salad dressing to provide high antioxidant activity without sacrificing sensory quality.

Wind speed data constitute important weather information for aircrafts flying at low altitudes, such as drones. Currently, the accuracy of low altitude wind predictions is much lower than that of high-altitude wind predictions. Deep neural networks are proposed in this study as a method to improve wind speed forecast information. Deep neural networks mimic the learning process of the interactions among neurons in the brain, and it is used in various fields, such as recognition of image, sound, and texts, image and natural language processing, and pattern recognition in time-series. In this study, the deep neural network model is constructed using the wind prediction values generated by the numerical model as an input to improve the wind speed forecasts. Using the ground wind speed forecast data collected at the Boseong Meteorological Observation Tower, wind speed forecast values obtained by the numerical model are compared with those obtained by the model proposed in this study for the verification of the validity and compatibility of the proposed model.

This study analyzed fish paste containing Lagocephalus lunaris powder (LLP). The moisture, crude ash, crude protein, and crude lipid content of LLP were 6.21%, 1.03%, 74.50%, and 1.21% respectively. The tested concentrations of LLP were 0, 3, 5, and 7%. The pH of the samples ranged from 6.75 to 6.89, and moisture content ranged from 75.23% to 76.95%. The L values of the samples decreased as the concentrations of LLP decreased, and the a and b values increased. In addition, the folding test results in all test samples were "AA", indicating a good mean flexibility. In the texture meter test, the hardness, strength, springiness, gumminess, and chewiness increased according to increasing concentrations of LLP. In the sensory evaluation, the fish paste prepared with 5% LLP were preferred over other fish pastes. These results suggest that LLP can be applied to fish paste for substantially increasing its quality and functionality.

This study compared the nutritional value of quinoa cultivated in different regions, i.e., Peru (PQ), United States (UQ), and Korea (KQ), focusing on their proximate and nutrient compositions and functional components. Moisture, protein, lipid, and ash contents were highest in KQ, and the carbohydrate content was the highest in UQ. KQ had the highest amount of total amino acids, especially lysine. KQ had the lowest levels of Na but the highest levels of K, P, Fe, Mg, Zn, and Mn. The antioxidant compounds, quercetin and kaempferol were not detected in KQ, which consequently had the lowest total phenolic and total flavonoid contents (TPC and TFC, respectively). These values were comparatively higher in UQ. Meanwhile, PQ had the highest TPC and TFC values as well as kaempferol content, but lacking quercetin. These results demonstrate that the nutritional value of quinoa varies according to the region in which it is cultivated.

The purpose of this study was to examine the meaning and structure of the experience of female college students. For this purpose, 22 female college students, regardless of age, participated in the interview three times in total. Interview data were processed through the analysis and interpretation process using the phenomenological research method, Giorgi method. As a result, 34 semantic units were derived, then divided into 14 subcomponents, and then divided into 6 categories. As a result of analysis, the spiritual value of female college students was composed of "family", "friendly person", "professional person", "empathy", "reflection" and "trust". Based on the above meaning, the structure of the spiritual value of female college students can conclude that they were a continuation of life that forms a strong sense of value and empathy and trust with patience with family and friends. Based on this, intervention on spiritual well-being of female college students suggests that intervention to form values based on empathy and trust based on family and close friends is implemented.

In non-face-to-face teaching-learning, a survey was conducted on 55 students in the department of chemistry education at university A on the variables (behavioral control, instructor-learner interaction, cognitive learning) affecting learning satisfaction and academic achievement. There were relatively large positive correlations between variables. The positive correlation between them was found to be the factors that influenced learning satisfaction and academic achievement in non-face-to-face teaching-learning. The average values of non-face-to-face teaching-learning for each variable were lower than the corresponding values of face-to-face teaching-learning, respectively. As a result of the perception survey on the detailed factors of each variable, negative responses were relatively high in factors such as 'concentration of behavior' in behavioral control, 'level-considered explanation' in instructor-learner interaction, and 'knowledge understanding' in cognitive learning.

본 논문에서는 메타버스 네트워크에서 작업을 하고, 성과를 이루려고 하는 조직이 어떠한 조직문화를 가지고 있는지 기존의 오프라인의 소통 위주의 조직과 비교하여 변화된 조직문화 성향을 알아보고자 한다. 앞으로 뉴노멀 시대에 시간과 공간의 제약에서 벗어나 글로벌 적인 환경에서 점차 메타버스를 이용한 작업은 확장되어 질것이며 기존과 다른 새로운 조직 프로세스에서 구성원들의 작업효율과 최대치의 결과 값을 얻기 위하여 이와 같은 연구를 통해 유의미를 찾고 보다 발전적인 조직문화에 보탬이 되고자 한다.

The culture includes every possible objective forms created by humans and their shared aspects of ideas, feelings, and behaviors, beliefs and etc. The dress and its ornaments are part of the culture that expresses the relationships in objective ways and in formless immaterial ways. The school uniform represents significant meanings to the students in their school years, and it is the way of expressing their individuality and full filling their needs for self-presentation. Therefore, understanding and analyzing youth culture means understanding students' school uniform along with fast changing twenty first century civilization. Korea and Japan are very close nations to each other. Both Korean and Japanese girls' school uniform style were adopted western clothing style and went through many changes based on cultural differences between two countries. They are affected by different peculiarities between two nations and youth cultures from different cities. Therefore, this research is on analyzing how different visual values of girl's high school uniforms in Seoul and Tokyo and understanding youth cultures through macro-analysis. The youth cultures in Korea and Japan are mostly similar but there is special development on animation in Japan and possibly can find many styles of girl's high school uniform. Both nations are varying to be opened to sexual culture of adolescents but Japan is more uninhibited than Korea. In Japan, sailor-uniform can be found in fetish way in public culture. On one hand, because of most private girl's high schools in Tokyo takes an entrance examination, top-ranking students are very proud of their school uniforms and even students from other public high schools get private high school uniforms to attend school festival. This analysis showed that private girl's high school uniform in Seoul appealed as slim fitted silhouette which is close to modem woman's suit style while in Tokyo appealed as boxy style matched with short pleated skirt or sailor-uniform style. Comparing that to school uniform photos taken on the street, we can find that alikeness or more extreme styles as examples. These are influenced by different youth cultures in Seoul and Tokyo and cultural differences stands for different aesthetic norm being accepted or rejected.
