  • Fusion and consilience have been important in many aspects of our education and culture. In this flow 2015 revised National Curriculum aimed to cultivate students of abilities of imagining liberally and inventing scientifically and technically. However imagination including imagination in humanities has not been researched in mathematics education part until nowadays, so mathematics education using imagination of raising students with ingenious and harmonizing abilities is hard to discuss concretely. In this paper I studied the opinions of various scholars from ancient times to today, and discussed where imagination reveals itself in mathematics practices. With above results I discussed some possible shape of teaching and learning of mathematics using imagination. And finally we discussed that meanings in the humanities and social aspects.

  • In information society, digital convergence means a service or new product which appeared through fusion of unit technologies in information and communication regions. The effects of convergence technologies and social phenomenons are visualized in overall regions of society such as economy, culture, etc. Cloud computing has recently been recognized as one of the most emerging technology. Many related companies support cloud computing services. In this paper, we present an analysis of current gaps and new trends in cloud computing based on farming industry of japanese.

  • Adjuvant is an immune enhancer commonly used during vaccination to enhance the host immune response. In the present study, we produced the several recombinant protein from immune related gene of olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus). Especially, to produce the soluble type of recombinant protein, we constructed the MBP (Maltose binding protein) fusion G-CSF (Granulocyte colony stimulating factor) recombinant protein among the flounder immune related genes. To verify the immune stimulatory effect and safety of this recombinant protein (rPoGCSF), expression changes of several immune genes were tested using quantitative real-time PCR method with gene specific primer from flounder head kidney leukocytes. As a result, we confirmed that the rPoGCSF has an ability of immune stimulatory effect, also it has broad range of pH and temperature.

  • In information society, Convergence means a service or new product which appeared through fusion of unit technologies in information and communication regions. The effects of convergence technologies and social phenomenons are visualized in overall regions of society such as economy, society, culture, etc. In this paper, we described a wearable computer which was leading case in digital convergence. Wearable computer is unit that you can literally wear on your body to enhance recognition abilities and problem-solving abilities by processing various types of integrated information. Therefore, we studied the issues, market and outlookof wearable computer in this paper.

  • This article examines cultural content distribution system, particularly of game industry based on the development of digital technology. In this period of convergence and fusion, some phenomenon leads the cultural content distribution system change like value transfer from platform to content. In relation to it, especially in the game industry, three types of distribution is categorized by the industrial structure (offline, online, mobile game) through the case studies and it is expected to be evolve into a base for development of distribution integration model in the future. In conclusion, the article suggest the policy subject for the promotion of cultural content that hold so much competitiveness for long-lasting development by the improvement of distribution structure, blowing off the conflict between companies and publishers, and global business, etc.

  • The fusion of virtual and reality and the revolution of gamification are beginning in human culture. As the quaternary industrial revolution enters the era, major developments of convergence main content games are expected as human-made play products. Now that we need a diverse game IP, we need a methodology that makes it easy to approach game scenario creation. The creation of the game scenario has a very large difference due to interactivity with the general video scenario. Therefore, without interactive knowledge, it is difficult to challenge game scenario creation. In this paper, 'Game Scenario Creation List' was created in order to lower the barriers to entering game scenario creation. I hope that this paper will be even a little positive for the development of game contents.

  • Mouse ficolin A is a plasma protein with lectin activity, and plays a role in host defense by binding carbohydrates, especially GlcNAc, on microorganisms. The ficolin A subunit consists of an N-terminal signal peptide, a collagen-like domain, and a C-terminal fibrinogen-like domain. In this study, we show that ficolin A can be synthesized and oligomerized in a cell and secreted into culture medium. We also identify a functionally relevant signal peptide of ficolin A by using MS/MS analysis to determine the N-terminal sequence of secreted ficolin A. When the signal peptide of mouse ficolin A was fused with enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP), EGFP was released into HEK 293 cell medium, suggesting that the signal peptide can efficiently direct ficolin A secretion. Moreover, our results suggest that the signal peptide of ficolin A has potential application for the production of useful secretory proteins.

  • An immunoassay techniques using monoclonal antibodies have been developed of the quantitative analysis of endogenous hormones in plants. In order to be useful for immunoassay, both a high degree of specificity and a high affinity are required. A system is described for production of hybridomas which secrete antibodies against the plant hormone. Using the system we were able to produce hybridmas with the desired antibody specificity by cell fusion and culture method. For a number of obvious reasons, monoclonal antibodies(mAb) were superior to polyclonal antibodies.

  • The recent advent of the digital age changes socio-cultural environments. Since the value of technology is moving to the value of culture, new research areas which are the convergence of emotion, knowledge, and technology. These trends enlarge interactive digital multimedia in daily human life. One of them, book, also envolves new concept. Over electronic book, we present digilog book which is fusion of old-media and digital media. In this paper, we define digilog book as a new conceptual media and discuss it in details. Several digilog books are showed as an example and its authoring tool, ARtalet is introduced.

  • We previously isolated and cloned a cDNA of abaecin from the Bombus ignitus. In an effort to produce a large amount of soluble abaecin at low cost, we successfully expressed the peptide in Escherichia coli that are highly sensitive to its mature form. For this, we fused the peptide encoding 39 amino acids of mature B. ignitus abaecin to the thioredoxin gene together with a C-terminal 6xHis tag. An enterokinase cleavage site was introduced between the 6xHis tag and mature abaecin to allow final release of the recombinant peptide. A high yield of 9.6 mg soluble fusion protein from 200 ml of bacterial culture was purified by $Ni^{2+}$-charged His-Bind resin affinity column, and 1.4 mg of pure active recombinant abaecin was readily obtained by enterokinase cleavage, followed by affinity chromatograph. The molecular mass of recombinant abaecin peptide was determined by Tricin-SDS-PAGE analysis. The recombinant abaecin exhibited antibacterial activity against Gram-negative bacteria.
