The consumers' concept and the acceptability of ginger and its processed product were surveyed by premade questionnaire. A total of 447 questionnaires were collected from housewives, restaurant managers and related processors at 7 regions in Korea. The 40.6% of total responsors reacted ginger as spice was necessary for food preparation by flavor(87.5%). The most difficulties of using ginger were peeling and washing(89.8%). The raw ginger purchased for their use was only utilized less than 70% of 46.5% and 50% of 21.3% of total responsors respectively. The processed and convenient style spices including ginger were accepted by 72.8% of qestionnaires and 76.9% of them hoped to have ginger paste. Such a convenient ginger products were more welcomed by younger generation than older.

Through the analysis of Gerhard Richter's works of art in the period of "fuzzy image", this paper expounds the special internal quality of fuzzy image in Richter's works and reveals an important direction of the development of contemporary easel painting, The special essence of Richter's vague image is that he uses photos to reflect the power and authenticity of the existence of the objective things. He was not satisfied with the radical way of modern painting and tried to return to the traditional way of painting, but in fact Richter kept a special distance between classical painting and modern art. Richter not only blurs the image in his creation, but also shows that he wants to show the objectivity of things, keep the distance, authenticity and give up painting. Richter used fuzzy images to capture the concept of "visual unconsciousness", and finally separated from the concept. When we read how Richter showed the reality of things in the way of painting, we also saw a kind of contradictory psychology when he faced the complicated objective.

Recent advances in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies have led to a significant increase in metaverse platforms. Metaverses are setting a new direction for the digital world. This paper examines the phenomenon of virtual worlds that are becoming an issue these days, focusing on [Ready Player One]. One of the common features of the metaverse platform in [Ready Player One] and the platforms currently in use is the concept of open world. This is a feature that goes beyond simply moving around in a virtual world and allows users to freely reset, participate in, and control the environment. This innovative concept is a hallmark of metaverse platforms, and it is becoming increasingly important and influential. Through this study, we focused on the [open world system] of the platform in the movie and the modern metaverse platform, and suggested and studied how the scalability of the metaverse will present a turning point in the future.

Along with a rapid increase in the number of 1-person households where the concept of 1-person consumption and 1-person economy is emphasized, the proportion of 1-person household in Korea occupies a 25.3% at present, and the number is expected to grow continuously. And this rapid increase will bring about a host of problems such as housing shortage in the metropolitan area, egoism, loneliness felt by individuals, and other social problems such as crime. As an alternate movement to this phenomenon, concern on and interest in community, community culture, and sharing of space are on the rise, together with concern on and preference for sharehouse culture. In news media as well, articles on life shared with members of a sharehouse often appear. This sharehouse, which is widely spread and well received in Japan, not only reduces economic burden but also creates their own community and promotes their own culture. In this sense, it is a new way of life that represents benefits of sharing, well beyond just economic interests. Accordingly, In this research, an attempt was made tp examine the circumstances in the use of space based on existing studies on sharehouse characteristics in order to shed new lights on the meaning that non-characteristic space concept of the traditional residential space has as the concept of sharehouse space by considering it in connection with the non-characteristic space concept of the Korean traditional residential space where diverse circumstances occur centered on communal life and which were accepted by all naturally.

Light was the symbol of the city's prosperity and culture. People can walk around the city at the night time with safe. Now light is used with beauty and function at the same time. This study is the example how to draw the lighting design concept in specific city and district based on the citizen-minded survey. The citizen-minded survey makes a new chance taking the goodness and characteristics from local city specially and select the site for applying the specific opinion and requirement in the city. The expression of design concept on night landscape design gives the fresh image to the city during the night time. Because people feel the free and dynamic mood in the night landscape lighting, it is very important to set and express the design concept on night landscape design. The result of this study was applied in the Daegu city. In particular, the distribution complex's night landscape lighting in the Daegu was designed with specific concept expression from the citizen-minded survey. Making and expressing the design concept on night landscape design is basic for unity and diversity in the city.

A brief consultation of English Arabic dictionaries and encyclopedias shows that there is no one single standard Arabic translation of the English concept 'democracy'. Arab authors use, instead, a series of multiple terms that need clarification if the first term is to be clear. In many cases, they tend to localize the term into Arabic using various orthographic forms; at other times, they run a rather lengthy analysis to elucidate the concept that seems to be an essentially contested term. This paper aims to inquire into the reasons for the confusion and inconsistency in the translation of the concept 'democracy', as well as the underlying arguments for advocating the localization rather than translation of this political concept. This will be followed by a discussion of the implications of this study for lexicographers and translators. Given the fact that ideology is of non-Arabic origin, English perceptions of this fluid concept might help account for its lack of clarity in Arabic translations since Arabic is highly influenced by English in various spheres of life. It would thus be wise first to check the perceptivity of English authors of the concept. To better serve the purpose of this study, the author distinguishes here between 'translation' and so-called 'localization'. The term 'translation' is concerned with finding an existing term in the target language with an equivalent meaning for a foreign word, whereas localization involves taking the foreign term and making it linguistically and culturally appropriate to the target language, by subjecting it to the morphological and syntactic rules of Arabic to be used as if it were originally Arabic.

This study aims to investigate the distance of culture and life by 'The Relation-Approach.' For this, We identified the path and mechanism of importance of culture and life through the concept of respective distance and closed distance. We found that the structure of closed culture and closed life makes the distance of culture and life dangerous, which is operated as the factor of making dangerous culture and life. This fact shows that respectiveness operates in the process of converting respective distance to closed distance. Also, It was confirmed that the problem of solving dangerous distance can be established in the condition that mutual distance of culture and life can have the possibility of accomplishment. But We found the fact that the distance which is regarded as the true mutual distance having the consistence of the open condition-accomplishment in culture and life is actually operated by making the dangerous path and mechanism. In this point, We suggested the concept of 'The Multi-tier Dangerousness,' not 'The Single-tier Dangerousness.' We also found the importance of dangerousness of perception with a view to resolving dangerousness operating in culture and life. The fact that 'dangerousness of perception' produced 'dangerousness of phenomenon' was identified. Further more, We suggested that intrinsic perception is needed so as to healthy culture and life. And Open perception was emphasized to go to mutual distance beyond respective distance.

The purpose of this paper is to deeply understand the transitional concept of gender expressed in the later 20th century fashion through analyzing of various literature. Gender is constructed in the context of social and culture different than sex which is inherent difference between man and women. Thus the concept of gender can be changed according to change of social and culture. There are imposing changes in gender since 60's owing to various factors; namely, feminism, subculture, deconstruction, development of technology, market economy, changing sex roles, etc. Especially in the 60's to 70's, as radical changes were took place, gender became vague more and more. Finally these days there is no fixed gender. In terms of meaning, there may be a number of genders-since there are as many meanings of sex as there are people who have thought about it. That is, sex is, gender means. Sex exists in itself, and is sublimely indifferent to what humans think of it, However gender is all the meanings we assign to sex. In accordance with this phenomena, people don't mind their sexes with appearance. There is only different disposition and taste.

The objective of this study is to consider the concept of postmodernism and the characteristics concerning the stage of the development, and to investigate the effect of the postmodernism on the clothing. Postmodernism is the result of the late capitalism and its characteristics are the narrative, mixture and deconstruction. First, since it is impossible to express the social culture of various society through one theoretical disclosure, the novel value on the narrative is provided and its characteristics arise. Hence, the society becomes afford to accept the other and provides the novel value to the absolute sub-concept. Second, the recognization and emphasis of the narrative in the post modem society bring about the repulsion as to the strict classification between the high culture and low one established from modernism and the closure between each genre of the art, and this causes to raise the composed characteristics which borrow or mix the style and image of different age and culture. Third, the deconstructive feature arises which eliminates the boundary between the high and low class, the past and future and the destruction and construction. This means not only anther recomposition but also skeptical attitude about it.

This paper developed motifs through the use of images of masks with which the Korean innate consciousness of aesthetics is expressed. The motifs were applied to fashion items. This paper investigated the concept, origin and types of traditional masks through the existing literature. Using the computer graphic programs of Illustrator and Photoshop CS2, three basic motifs were set from the images of the nobleman, Bune of Hahoi Tal and Byeongsan Tal. Each motif was extended into two motifs by changing shape and color. For the basic motif design, this study sought to express contemporary images, suitably for each fashion item, while maintaining the basic shape of the masks and their traditional images. In addition, this study set the concept of the design so that could be accepted by various age groups. For the design of handkerchiefs, a rotating array, involving enlargement, reduction, repetition, and the gradation of motifs, as well as a diagonal symmetric array, and all-over patterns were developed. The T-shirt design created here was divided into a half-sleeve box type, a round neckline sleeveless type, a V-neckline close-fitting sleeveless type, and a V-neckline close-fitting cap sleeve type. For the design of necklaces, OLED or LED, which are considered as a future display type, was used. Additionally, the production of an entertainment styled new atmosphere is proposed.
