  • The purpose of this descriptive correlational study was to explore the effect of knowledge of evidence-based practice (K-EBP) and organizational culture on the innovation behavior of university librarians in South Korea. The structured survey questionnaire consisted of four sections and 60 items. The four sections were concerned with K-EBP, organizational culture, innovation behavior, and EBP-related activities and demographic. The respondents were librarians working in 101 university libraries in South Korea. The results of this study were as follows. First, K-EBP indicated that the respondents had excellent practical skills, but their ability to appraise critically, apply knowledge and to conduct research was weak. Second, the questionnaire scores for K-EBP were significantly positively correlated with those for organizational culture and innovation behavior. Higher K-EBP scores corresponded to higher scores for relation-, innovation-, and task-oriented organizational culture. Third, K-EBP outcomes differed significantly by age group, education level, employment type, job title/seniority, reading of academic journal articles, and attendance at conferences. Organizational culture differed significantly with age. Innovation differed significantly with both age and conference attendance. Fourth, in the hierarchical multiple regression analysis, factors predicting K-EBP scores were education level and reading academic journals. Fifth, the multiple regression analysis identifying factors predicting innovation revealed statistically significant regression coefficients for overall K-EBP and for innovation- and hierarchy-oriented organizational culture. The regression coefficient for perception of a hierarchy-oriented organizational culture was negative. To promote innovation behavior of librarians, we need to foster an innovative organizational culture characterized by communication and cooperation, and improve the ability of librarians to engage in EBP. Educational programs that promote librarian engagement in research-related activities are needed.

  • Since the outbreak of Corona 19, Universities and Lifelong Education Center's arts and sports classes are mainly conducted online. Unfortunately, even in dance where practical practice through face-to-face classes is important, the satisfaction of students is falling because of the limitations of online education. Therefore, it is necessary to measure the quality of education service they feel. In addition, since their academic departure is increasing, we intend to comprehensively study user satisfaction, continuous use intention, and academic continuity intention related to online education. This study confirmed the causal relationship between these 4 variables through exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, model fit and validity verification, and path analysis. As a result of the study, 3 out of 6 hypotheses were adopted, and the of education service quality had a positive effect on satisfaction and use in online dance education. But there was also a limit that did not affect the intention to continue the study. In order to solve fundamental problems such as academic departure, follow-up studies taking into account more diverse social variables are needed.

  • is a project for the senior generation with humanistic knowledge to become a mentor and communicate with them to present the wisdom and direction of life to the new generations of mentees based on various life experiences. has been expanding since 2015, starting with the pilot operation in 2014. In general, projects such as these are assessed to establish effectiveness indicators to verify effectiveness and to establish project management and development strategies. However, most of the evaluations have been conducted quantitatively and qualitatively based on the short-term duration of the project. Therefore, in the case of continuous projects such as , especially in the field of culture and arts where long-term effectiveness verification is required, the short-term evaluation is difficult to predict and judge the actual meaningful effects. In this regard, tried to examine the qualitative change of key participants in this project through the 2017 and 2018 image tracking survey. For this purpose, we adopted qualitative research methodology through interview video shooting, field shooting, and value coding as a research method suitable for the research subject. To analyze the results, first, the interview images were transcribed, keywords were extracted, value encoding works were matched with human psychological values, and the theoretical method was used to identify changes and to derive the meaning. In fact, despite the fact that the study conducted in this study was a follow-up survey, it remained a limitation that it analyzed the changed pattern in a rather short time of 2 years. However, this study systemized the specific methodology that researchers should conduct for follow-up and provided the flow of research at the present time when there is hardly a model for follow-up in the field of culture and arts education business in Korea as well as abroad. Significance can be derived from this point. In addition, it can be said that it has great significance in preparing the detailed system and case of comparative analysis methodology through value coding.

By considering various statistics and data on the frequency of reasons for dining-out, this study examined worker restaurant lunches and investigated the level of recognition of interest in nutrition labeling, the type of nutrition information that is of interest and the preferred format of labeling according to the level of interest in health. According to the results, while the frequency of dining-out by workers was high, their consideration for health and nutrition labeling in restaurants was low. • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of participation in cultural activities on happiness. The empirical results show that participation in cultural activities has a positive impact on individual happiness, because cultural activities cause entertainment and social contacts with people. Furthermore, the levels of income and education are analyzed by dividing them into high and low groups. Noteworthy is that the low-income and less-educated groups show lower participation in cultural activities than those in the high-income and well-educated groups, But the utility magnitude gained through cultural activities is higher. This implies that opportunity costs arising from financial and time constraints are greater in the low-income and less-educated groups than in the high-income and well-educated groups. Finally, for the low-income group, the marginal utility is reduced when spending on cultural activities exceeds certain levels, which means there exist a budget constraint for the low-income group.

Through the term-end project of the subjects relating software, students learn various techniques for the programming language and produce the outcomes of their project by the creative program development process. However, non-computer majors who take software course as liberal arts subjects have difficulty in understanding the programming language, so it is necessary to provide feedback from their professor for encouraging students in carrying out their projects smoothly. Therefore, a feedback method by the discussions between a professor and learners that can be applied to the term-end project of programming subject for the non-computer majors is proposed. The proposed method was apply to the actual term-end projects and the meaningful results were confirmed through the analysis of the project processes and outcomes.
