HCI 분야의 기존 연구들은 개인 사용자들의 문화적 성향을 국가 수준에서 일반화하여 설명하는 경우가 대부분이다. 그러나 HCI 분야의 연구 대상이 되는 기기나 온라인 서비스의 사용은 개인 수준에서의 행동인 경우가 대부분이기 때문에 개인 사용자의 문화적 성향을 국가 수준에서 일반화하여 파악하는 것은 개인 수준의 행동을 정확하게 설명하지 못하는 한계를 가질 수 있다. 이는 문화적 성향이 한 국가 내의 사용자들에게서도 개인에 따라 다양한 양상을 나타낼 수 있고, 더 나아가 한 개인 안에서도 사용 대상에 따라 다른 양상을 나타낼 수 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구는 사용자들이 가지고 있는 문화적 성향에 있어 국가 간 차이의 존재 뿐만 아니라, 특정 기기나 온라인 서비스와 같은 사용 대상에 따라서도 차이가 존재할 수 있음을 탐색적으로 제시하는 것을 기본 목적으로 한다.

Culture is a crucial concept that forms the thinking and behaviors of a group of people, and it influences interactions in learning. Thus, it is also essential to consider cultural sensitivity in online learning technologies and instructional design as education is a set of learning actions based on values and perceptions. MOOCs, the latest online learning platform, are global online learning platforms that provide global learners with free and various learning resources including courses from different world-class institutions. Despite globalization having brought learners closer to sharing similar learning resources, the actual experiences with the resource are expected to vary according to cultures, mainly because learning behavior is a set of outcomes based on cultural differences. Taking this into consideration, this study aims to examine MOOCs from a cultural perspective in order to facilitate global learners, especially Korean learners, to utilize MOOCs with user-friendly services and contents. To achieve this objective, the study first identified and developed an evaluation criteria to examine the cultural sensitivity of MOOCs and conducted case studies on courses from major MOOC providers including edX and Coursera. From the findings, design recommendations of contents and courses on MOOCs were suggested to provide Korean learners with optimal learning experiences.

Background: This study aims at making a survey on health care service providers' cultural competence and making an appraisal of Chinese medical tourists on service quality, health care service providers' cultural competence, perceived value, and satisfaction. Methods: The data was collected from August until November, 2014 and 150 health care service providers and 65 Chinese medical tourists from 12 medical institutions in Daegu were enrolled in analysis. Results: The results showed that health care service provider's knowledge on Chinese culture was very low with 33.5% of correct answer. Health care service providers were found to get 3.82 point on a 5 point-scale in cultural perception, 3.53 points in cultural sensitivity, and 2.85 points in cultural skills. Chinese medical tourists were analyzed to give 4.08 points on a 5-point scale to satisfaction on health care service, followed by 4.01 points to health care service quality, 4.00 points to perceived value of health care service, and last 3.85 points to a health care service providers' cultural skills. However, there was a difference in points in cultural skills between health care service providers and Chinese medical tourists. Chinese medical tourists' satisfaction with health care service in Daegu was found to be comparatively high, but in relation to satisfaction with communication, it was found to be relatively low. Conclusion: Through this research, health care service providers' knowledge level of Chinese culture and cultural skills were low while they seemed to take a half-hearted attitude towards educational experience for building up cultural competence and foreign patient service response.

Objective: This paper aims to discuss the case study of Design Dive: Service Design Workshop that was held to improve public services by applying service design methods(February 2011~May 2011). In so doing, it suggests the ways in which public services can be innovated from a design-oriented perspective. Background: As citizens' social and cultural awareness of services is enhanced, there have been emerging needs for innovation of public services. Accordingly, the methods of service design which is to design holistically users' experiences have been considered as an important means to innovate public services. Method: In this regard, the present paper introduces and explores the example of the Design Dive Workshop as a platform whereby service design is achieved. In particular, it analyzes the results of the workshop. Results: The paper presents the results of the workshop and the 10 possible scenarios of public services that were explored in the workshop and suggests models for empowering the workshop participants. Conclusion: Service design is a very effective methodology for providing a new perspective on user-oriented design of public services. The workshop had educational effects on enhancing the participants' awareness of the role of public service design. Application: The Design Dive workshop contributed to improving public services and achieved positive educational results. The methods developed in the workshop can effectively be applied to various occasions on which public services should be improved.

Anthracnose occurred on rapsberry grown in Gochang areas of Korea in 2003. The disease incidence was ranged from 1.1 to 2.6％. Anthracnose of rapsberry appeared as dark brown circular spots on naturally infected stems. The symptoms of infected stems were small brown to dark brown spots and gradually enlarged larger cylindrical dark brown lesions. The causal fungus of anthracnose isolated from the diseased plants was identifed as Colletotrichum coccodes based on the morphological and cultural characteristics. All isolates of C. coccodes were produced similar symptoms on the host leaves by artificial inocultion.

Recently, the demand for pubic welfare has been expended to the comprehensive services terms of cultural, medical and psychological aspects and provision of information. These various demands for welfare services to improve citizens'quality of life could be effectively met by an integrated community center covered small regions rather than many existing individual institutions focused on specific services covered wide regions. The purpose of this study was to develop the activity programs for a proposed new millennium community center The activity programs classified into five types (administrative services; information and counselling; health and sports; leisure and culture; and child care and educational services) and each type included various unique activity programs not only for specific age groups but also for all age groups. In order to operate a new millennium community center effectively, the legal supports and systematic organizations to manage the community center should be required. Discussions and recommendations for these issues were included in the study.

본 연구는 산림생태계서비스 인식이 개인의 환경몰입과 환경문제의식을 매개하여 친환경행동에 미치는 영향관계에 대해 구조방정식모델을 적용하여 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 자료는 일반인 대상의 온라인 설문조사로 2019년 4월 11일~21일까지 진행되었으며, 총 465부 중 불성실한 응답을 제외하고 425부(91.4%)를 최종 분석 자료로 이용하였다. 구조방정식 분석을 통한 주요 결과를 살펴보면, 응답자의 대부분이 산림생태계서비스를 긍정적으로 인식하였으며, 산림생태계서비스 인식이 환경몰입, 환경문제의식 두 변수에 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 그 크기는 공급·조절서비스보다 문화서비스의 영향이 더 컸다. 총효과의 크기는 '문화서비스-환경몰입-친환경행동'의 경로가 가장 크게 나타났다. 산림생태계서비스를 중요하게 인식하는 사람에게 친환경행동을 하도록 유도하기 위해서는 문제의식보다 몰입이 효과적으로 매개하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 산림생태계서비스를 중요하게 인식하면서 자연환경과의 몰입 경험이 있을 때 친환경행동의도가 더 높으며 행동으로 유도할 수 있다. 본 연구는 산림생태계서비스 인식과 친환경행동의 관계를 파악하고 선행요인을 분석하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

민간공원 특례사업이 시행됨에 따라 장기미집행 도시공원 개발로 인한 생태계 서비스 저하가 우려된다. 본 연구는 장기미집행 도시공원인 경기도 광주시의 중앙근린공원을 대상으로, 민간공원 특례사업이 도시공원의 생태계 서비스에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 민간공원 특례사업 계획부터 도시공원 조성 후까지의 생태계 서비스 변화를 복합적으로 파악하기 위해 시스템 사고를 활용하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 민간공원 특례사업 시행 원인은 지자체의 재정 부족이었다. 둘째, 민간공원 특례사업을 통한 도시공원 조성은 초기에는 문화 서비스를 저하시키지만, 시간이 흐를수록 향상되는 반면, 조절 서비스와 지지 서비스는 지속적으로 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 도시공원 조성 후, 생태계 서비스(문화 서비스, 조절 서비스, 지지 서비스) 간에 상충관계(trade-off)가 나타남에 따라 이를 줄일 수 있는 도시공원 조성 계획 및 관리방안 마련의 필요성을 확인했다. 이에 '지방재정', '녹지 면적', '생물다양성'을 주요 전략으로 도출하였으며, 도시공원 경영, 주민참여, 전 과정 평가, 스마트 기술 도입 필요성 등을 제시했다. 연구결과는 도시공원 조성 계획 및 관리방안 수립 시 시간의 흐름에 따른 환경변화와 생태계 서비스의 영향 관계에 대한 이해가 필요함을 시사했다.

우리나라는 공공도서관의 수가 선진국에 비해 상대적으로 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 공공도서관으로부터 소외된 지역의 학교도서관이 학교구성원에 대한 서비스와 함께 마을공동체의 문화커뮤니티로서 지역 공공도서관의 역할을 수행할 필요가 있다. 현재 네이버 문화재단 등의 민간단체에서 정보소외지역을 대상으로 마을공동체도서관으로서 학교도서관의 역할과 기능의 확대를 위한 '우리학교마을도서관' 지원사업을 진행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리학교마을도서관들이 마을공동체도서관으로서 지역주민들에게 도서관 서비스를 충분히 제공하고 있는지를 확인하였고, 우리학교마을도서관을 활성화시키기 위한 필요한 요구사항을 도출하였다. 이를 위해 네이버 문화재단에서 지원하고 있는 우리학교마을도서관을 대상으로 교장, 운영자, 이용자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 설문조사 결과, 우리학교마을도서관이 정보소외지역에서 실질적인 정보격차 해소에 충분한 역할을 하고 있음을 확인하였다. 그러나 우리학교마을도서관이 마을공동체도서관으로의 역할과 기능을 제대로 수행하기 위해서는 사회적 기업 등으로부터 외부지원의 확보, 운영자들의 직무 교육 실시, 지역주민들의 적극적 참여, 다양한 도서관서비스의 마련 등의 필요성이 확인되었다.
