The advent of multi-cultural society and multiracial nation is a new change of the times and a new phenomenon. In this social change, a need for a new theory and a new policy appropriate for Korean conditions is surfacing. In case of Japan, they have been changed into stable multi-cultural society by establishing various policies. An investigation on the changing process of policy in Japan has a great significance, we think. This study compared and analyzed the reason of promoting multi-cultural policies, changes of the related laws and institutions and the policies between Korea and Japan, investigated characteristics and differences between them, deduced implications and presented a new theory for multi-cultural policy appropriate for Korean conditions. In order to establish a new multi-cultural policy in Korea, firstly, acceptance of diversity and mutual recognition, secondly, establishment of policy direction through social consultation and thirdly, establishment of multi-cultural regulations followed by reestablishment of economical and political regulations should be required.

The bisphenol A epoxy resin currently used for the conservation of stone cultural heritage items is known to suffer from yellowing discoloration. In order to mitigate this yellowing and explore the availability of more diverse materials for the conservation of stone cultural heritage items, a hydrogenated Bisphenol A-based epoxy resin was prepared and compared with the epoxy resin currently used in the conservation treatment of stone cultural heritage items. The newly prepared epoxy resin showed improved physical properties relative to the existing materials, especially in terms of tensile strength, adhesion, and machinability, while the yellowing discoloration was reduced by a factor of roughly five to eight. The results suggest that epoxy resin could be used as a stable material for the conservation treatment of stone cultural heritage items, most of which are located outdoors.

This study is a study that provides basic data and direction related to the cultural city policy of Wanju-gun. The goal of this study is to provide policy implications by analyzing domestic and overseas cases that have succeeded in cultural city policy based on case documents. This study consists of the instruction of Chapter 1, the review of cultural city policies in Chapter 2, the analysis of domestic cases in Chapter 3, the analysis of overseas cases in Chapter 4, and the conclusion of Chapter 5. Chapter 2, the Cultural City Policy Review, deals with the concept and types of cultural cities, and policy-related development projects. Chapter 3, Domestic Case Analysis, analyzed the Seoul City Urban Renewal Project, Seoul Cheonggyecheon Stream Restoration Project, and Changwon Public Art Project. Chapter 4, Overseas Case Analysis, analyzed the Kanazawa Civic Art Village in Japan, Bant 1929 in Yokohama, Japan, and Zollverein in Germany. Through these cases, we'd like to provide the successful policy direction and basic data of the cultural city of Wanju-gun.

Understanding characteristics of Internet businesses from cross-cultural perspective could offer valuable insights on developing business strategy and policy. This work is concerned with revealing divergence and convergence of Internet business models in their financial performance, given organizational conditions and cultural context. For this, we studied the association between organizational attributes (core activity, origination, firm age, and industry) and their effects on a firm's financial performance (gross revenue and net income). Relevant data was gathered from representative Internet firms in Korea and U.S. Data analysis indicated that there exist both similarities and differences between Korea and U.S and year 2003 and 2006. While core activities and industry types of U.S. firms has not been changed much between the periods, Korean firms show much difference. In addition, while core activities and industry type were found to have strong relationship with financial performance, age and origination of a firm weak connections with financial performance. This study is expected to provide a foundation for developing more robust and systematic research model and performing further empirical research in this area.

Nowadays, most of exhibits are material antiquities while the exhibit of intangible cultural heritage is deficient and the form is less advanced which cannot meet the exhibition needs of digital times. This has resulted in insufficient display of intangible heritage's value which may not facilitate inherit and protection of intangible heritage, no other than protection mechanism of forming healthy industrialization. This article has established digital exhibition mode in museum about intangible cultural heritage by analysis on current museum and using mobile communication and augmented reality techniques. Discuss the mode in the layer integrating creative industry and mobile industry and provide practicable reference project of forming the healthy industrialization mechanism for protecting intangible heritage.

Thomas L. Friedman's "Our New Historic Divide: B.C. and A.C. ― The World Before Corona and the World After" column is becoming the talk of the times. Whoever talks about the post-Corona world mentions "BC/AC" as a new concept. However, people seem to be overusing the term "BC/AC" while overlooking the specific context that Friedman emphasized. So, taking into account the cultural differences and contexts of the East and the West highlighted in Friedman's column, we devised the "BC/AC" ten-paradigm hypothesis. We hope these ten cultural shifts will be the first step in examining the post-Corona world.

In this study, the structural relationship among risk factors, safety motivation, and safety behavior perceived by telecommunications workers was empirically verified. A survey was conducted on field workers at S telecommunications companies in Korea, and the following major results were obtained. First, among the risk factors perceived by telecommunications workers, personal, cultural, and institutional factors were found to have significant positive effects on workers' safety motivation. Second, workers' safety motivation had a significant positive effect on safety behavior. Third, among the risk factors of telecommunications companies, personal, cultural, and institutional factors did not significantly affect workers' safety behavior. Fourth, all risk-causing factors perceived by workers, such as personal, cultural, and institutional factors, indirectly affected safety behavior through safety motivation. This study presents the importance of perceiving risk factors in the workplace to prevent and alleviate industrial accidents by examining the effects of riskcausing factors perceived by carrier workers on safety motivation and behavior.

This paper intends to explore the social and cultural implications of convergence media, based on Goffman's situational approach. The situational segregation of regions makes us to re-interpret the current private and public spheres and helps us to reveal the principle and structure hidden in the new middle region. An environment of convergence media is nullifying the separation of private and public spheres, while letting a new middle region appear.

The aim of this study is to examine how satires in the English movie, are translated into Korean. Satire is a literary technique in which the writer expresses sarcasm or criticism by using humor or irony. As satire induces laughter by criticising someone or something in the form of humor, it is not easy to convey the same effect to audiences with different social, cultural and political backgrounds. Naturally, satire translation poses great challenge to translators. This study analyzed satirical humors in , based on 4 basic strategies discussed commonly in the previous studies on humor translation, which found out Source Text(ST) preservation prevails, that is to say literal translation. This analysis result is expected to be worth in drawing an effective strategy for satire translation in the convergence perspective of society, culture or politics in other countries.

This study analyzed the convergence case of AI painting and NFT art, art content created based on digital technology, an innovative technology of the 4th industrial technology, and explored its characteristics. Digital technology that innovates the paradigm of life in the 21st century is being used in creative art, and AI painting and NFT art that use it as an expression tool are changing the way they perceive and accept art. AI painting using big data and artificial intelligence technology is evolving into interactive daily art, and NFT art using blockchain and NFT technology is becoming the art of the metaverse with economic and cultural values. Therefore, this study attempted to explore various aspects and values of these digital convergence arts. For the study, representative examples of AI painting and NFT art were classified into cognitive creative AI painting and language generative AI, art economic NFTs, and art and cultural NFTs, and their characteristics, contents, and meanings were analyzed. It is hoped that the results of this study will contribute to the development of AI painting and NFT art, which are digital convergence arts.
