뮤지컬은 유럽의 오페라로 대표되는 서구 음악극 전통에서 시작된 대중예술 장르로서 20세기 미국 브로드웨이를 중심으로 꽃을 피웠으며, 현재 전 세계적으로 공연예술 분야에서 대중의 큰 사랑을 받고 있는 상업예술 가운데 하나라 할 수 있다. 이 장르의 특성 상 드라마의 전개나 캐릭터의 표현 등은 말이나 몸짓이 아닌 음악을 주요 매개체로 사용하며, 그 음악의 스타일은 특정 계층이 아닌 대중의 기호에 민감하게 반응한다. 근대화는 곧 서양화이고 일본이 조선의 개화에 책임을 져야한다는 일제의 식민주의 음악교육은 조선 민중에게 일본 이데올로기 및 문화를 강제적으로 주입함으로써 일본에의 협력과 순종을 이끌어내기 위한 것이었다. 일제가 편찬한 "보통교육 창가집"을 교재로 한 식민주의 음악교육은 한민족의 음악적 정체성이 일본음악 및 서양음악으로 전환되는 계기가 되었다. 또한 해방 이후 냉전체재 하에서 미국의 대외정책에 따른 친미적 남한 정부 수립을 위한 자본주의 경제 메커니즘과 더불어 '미8군 쇼 무대'와 '영화'로 대표되는 미국 대중문화, 이 두 가지 요소들의 유입으로 인한 비가시적인 '문화제국주의'의 영향으로 우리의 전통음악은 '국악'이라는 단어에 갇혀 '과거의 음악'이라는 의미로 한정되어지게 되었다. 우리나라는 해방 이후 미국 대중문화의 유입으로 뮤지컬을 접하게 되었고, 우리 전통예술의 현대화를 통한 '건전한 문화'의 보급을 지향한 당시 박정희 정권의 문화정책 기조에 따라 '한국적 뮤지컬'을 지향하는 '예그린악단'이 창단되었다. 그러나 우리 민족예술을 기반으로 현대화 된 공연예술을 만들고자 했던 계획은 1966년 <살짜기옵서예>의 성공으로 가능성을 보였으나, 이후 정권 실세의 후원 중단 등의 이유로 더 이상 주체적으로 운영할 능력을 상실한 관변단체로 전락하는 운명에 처하면서 무산되고 만다. 일제의 식민주의 음악교육과 해방 이후 미국 대중문화의 유입이라는 문화제국주의 책략의 영향으로 말미암아 한국 뮤지컬의 태동기에 우리의 전통연희 양식이 서양 음악과의 교류, 확장을 통한 자주적인 민족예술로 자리매김하지 못한 1960년대의 상황을 초래하게 되었다. 이것이 21세기 현재 한국 뮤지컬 시장을 서구 라이센스 뮤지컬이 주도하게 된 배경이며, 아울러 서양음악을 기반으로 한 뮤지컬 창작 현실의 주요 원인으로 볼 수 있다.

Fashion is very superficial. However, it is expressed through the culture that is a cause of internal change and therefore its contents are defined by the cultural features. In this study, to study the aesthetic properties of the French fashion, the internal fashion contents are defined according to the cultural characteristics of France and based on the definition, the external features are investigated. The cultural characteristic was analyzed based on the reference literatures on the French culture. Based on the cultural characteristics of France, the aesthetical properties of the contemporary French fashion can be analyzed as follows: ${\cdot}$Dualism is the internal contents of the French culture with multiple sources, and it implies that opposing values such as female and male, traditionalism and modernism, simplicity and decoration are coexisting. Simplicity is pursued but decorative elements are in harmony and new phase of time is reflected while certain style has lasted for a long period of time to become a tradition. Furthermore, a rational trend combining masculinity and femininity, simultaneously exist with a trend that emphasizes feminine image. ${\cdot}$Multiculturism is a mysterious feature that has adapted the oriental or other cultural factors into the forms, patterns, colors and material of costumes. It has also been reconstructed with the French and the modern tastes. ${\cdot}$Avant-gardism is pursuing a novel aesthetic value against the former value system. It recognizes the human body as an object of figurative arts therefore emphasizes the body with geometric shapes to deny the fixed-idea, or engraft new materials and technologies to express the futuristic aspects.

이 연구는 지역문화생태계 내 청년예술가의 위치와 이들이 교류하는 생태계 내 주요 이해관계자들과의 역학관계를 중심으로 청년예술가들의 지속적인 창작 활동을 저해하는 환경적 요인을 파악하기 위해 실행된 질적 연구이다. 이 연구의 중심질문은 '무엇이 청년예술가의 지속적인 창작 활동을 저해하고 지역의 예술현장에서 떠나게 만드는가?'로, 청년예술가들의 경험과 시각에 중점을 두고 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구에서 수집된 인터뷰 자료는 2016년부터 2018년까지 국비로 광주에서 지원된 청년예술가 지원사업을 기획·실행하는 과정에서 축적된 자료이다. 이 연구는 전술한 2년간의 지원사업 진행 과정에서 만난 회화, 문학, 조각, 영상, 국악, 시각디자인, 공예 등의 분야에서 활동하는 20-34세 사이의 29명의 청년예술가와의 공식 및 비공식 인터뷰를 통해 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과다. 자료의 분석을 위해 생태계 논리를 창조산업에 적용하고 구조화시킨 Creative Sector Holistic Model(Wyszomirski, 2008)을 차용하여, 공공인프라(General Public Infrastructure)에 포함된 옹호단체(Advocacy), 전문예술기관(Professional Associations), 공공기금(Public Funding), 정책(Policy) 내 이해관계자와 지역 청년예술가들 간의 관계와 경험, 그리고 인식을 중심으로 구성된 주요 의미를 도출하였다. 분석 결과, 경제적 어려움만이 청년예술가의 지속적인 작품 활동을 중단시키는 요인은 아니었다. 지역의 건강한 문화예술생태계의 부재 혹은 불균형에서 파생된 다양한 저해 요소들이 파악됐으며, 이는 생태계 내 근원적 문제와 원인을 파악하는 것이 매우 중요한 사안임을 방증한다. 지역의 청년예술가 지원사업은 따라서 해당 지역의 생태학적 지형을 파악하고, 생태계 내 역학관계와 문제점을 밝혀가는 과정을 통해 해당 사업의 효과와 장기적 영향을 기대할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

This study explored the philosophical Modernity with the Enlightenment in relation to cultural and aesthetic modernism rooted in Modern furniture, which directly reflected modern culture and society with rationality, science, individualism, progressive, universal truths, etc, using qualitative analysis about the related literature as the principal methodology. A fundamental philosophy of the modern furniture influenced by Industrial Revolution is that the dictates of function and industrial technology must be decided by form. The theory and practice of the International Style in modern furniture came from the modern aesthetics in the philosophy of Modernity. As a result, as influenced through the Enlightenment project and the relationship of individual to society in relation to cultural and aesthetic modernism, and the three modern movements with furniture, which are Arts and Crafts movement, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco, represented the beginning style of modern furniture design toward functionalism or minimalism.

The purpose of our study is to explore dynamic mechanisms within families and self-authored decisions among Korean female college students. In particular, we investigated how parent-child interactions influence the development of self-authorship and self-authored decisions within Korean culture through interviews with 14 female college students. Results showed unique cultural influences on how female college students interacted with parents and interpreted and reflected parents' opinions in their self-authored decisions. These results suggest further research on gender differences and complex family influences on self-authored decisions within cultural contexts.

In this study, New Orientalism represened in modern fashion is defined a new idea that harmonized with factors of eclecticism, traditionalism, naturalism, and futurism and these characteristics are examined. First, as these features, it is the phenomenon of eclecticism presented beyond regions and sex. Second, it is the phenomenon of traditionalism newly expressed traditional images in a modern sense by using and changing of a oriental dress image of the of the past. Third, it is the phenomenon of naturalism revealed an unalloyed recurrent instinct about nature and a desire for yearning. Fourth, it is the phenomenon of futurism which is come out the factor of oriental images whithin a minimal and cyber environment. This paper might be the foundation for Korean Orientalism which could be not a just pastiche but a cultural commodity and s main fashion current with a cultural identity especially in the year of 2000, "New Arts Year", declared by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The modern society has been experiencing a cultural quickening that is accompanied by the rapid social, political and economical changes. In the dim chaos where the future is uncertain, the modern women are gradually discovering the value and meaning of their existences in the society. The fashion and make-up Christian Dior presented in the Haute Couture collections suggest us various genres from which the remarkable creative and artistic accomplishments canbe found. This study is to examine the characteristics of make-up techniques used by Christian Dior for the Haute Couture collections after 2003 S/S. The conclusion of this study is as follows. The make-up trend in the Haute Couture collections suggest that the make-up today is not simply to decorate a face beautifully. The make-up has become a new art form for the modern women to express their various originality and creativity while linking it to the social and cultural elements.

본 연구는 예술관광 관점에서 파인(Pine) & 길모어(Gilmore)의 체험이론을 바탕으로 세계의 문화체험 프로그램의 성공 사례를 조사하고, 전라남도 남도예술은행의 문화체험 프로그램을 분석 및 설문하였다. 그 결과 프로그램 매뉴얼의 세부 기획 및 체계적인 시스템 구축, 프로그램 안내 및 편의를 위한 홍보 다각화, 체험자의 참여 및 동기부여를 위한 운영자의 재교육 프로그램 등이 필요한 것으로 조사되었다. 예술관광 관점에서 문화체험 프로그램은 지역성, 전통성, 자연성을 원천으로 예술관광의 차별화를 통해 자생력 있고 경쟁력 있는 예술관광 프로그램으로 발전시켜야 할 것이다.

This paper tried to identify recognition and historical background about western table decoration. For the study, the documentary study would be accomplished. the range of time was during Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, and Neo-classic period, and the range of space was among Italy, France, and England. Styles for example architectures, interior designs, arts, and sculptures represented their own period, and had great influences on eating habits, and the eating habits would be influent on kitchen utensils. As a results of the fact, the structural elements and decoration of table would be showed different characteristics according to periods of time. Today's food cultural trends consisted of consumption, taste, sense, and consumers' demands become diversified, so the paper would be an important data to understand new designs proper for our own modem sense that cope with modem feeling.

Confronting with series of environmental problems. caused by urbanization and the constantly improving consciousness of the entire society towards environmental protection, it has become an inevitable trend to develop parks and green space planning that guided by the principle of 'respecting nature, preferring ecology' and integrate function, arts and culture of landscape design. Aiming at specific project, humanized design should be laid stress on. With fundamental functional construction serving as the base, the reflection of cultural content and regional landscape as the characters, using various landscape gardening elements reasonably to enrich space design as well as highlighting leisure and sport function and following the concept 'human-centered', parks and green space filled with natural vitality and cultural spirit can be constructed, people, city and the nature could develop together in harmony.
