  • As the Public use part of the railway and the road, the railway crossing is important to work properly by two transportation means. Also, It is important to provide the good face of friction on the railway crossing in aspect of protecting the railway crossing accident. Lately, the material of railway crossing panel is the wood, the asphalt, and the steel. As they have a various fault, it was studied to analyze the structural action of the new material, rubber panel. This paper analyzed eigenvalue, stress and displacement by truck passing weight, thermal stress and train moving weight, using the FEM model.

  • Existing level crossing obstacle detecting system was installed using a laser beam. Level crossing obstacle detecting system using a laser beam that has been a problem in relation to safety and maintainability failure according to weather conditions. We proposed laser radar level crossing obstacle detecting system as a way to overcome problem, and we developed an algorithm for this. Level crossing obstacle detecting system using a laser radar sensor algorithm is robust to external environment and a shadow zone does not exist. Sensor part of the laser radar level crossing obstacle detecting system of these is made up by the image processing unit and laser radar sensor, it operations by receiving train entering information from the control unit. In this paper, we proposed a detecting algorithm with calculation of the size of the laser radar sensor. Based on this, we were performance test on the basis of the scenario by making a prototype. In the future, laser radar level crossing obstacle detecting system to ensure the safety and reliability through the field test.

  • 현재 철도차량이 분기기 통과 시에 횡압의 변화가 최소화하는 설계가 요구되고 있다. 따라서 차량이 분기기를 통과하는 경우에 분기기에 작용하는 횡압 및 탈선계수를 예측하기 위하여 차량과 분기기간의 상호작용에 따른 동역학 해석을 수행하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 분기기 단면 형상 변화가 차량의 주행안전성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 포인트부, 크로싱부의 단면 형상 변화에 따른 주행안전성 해석을 수행하였다. F10/F12 분기기를 대상으로 포인트부 텅레일의 길이, 크로싱부 노즈레일의 높이를 변경시켜 주행안전성 해석을 수행하였다.

  • Railways are very important to get stability of railway structure as transportation system carrying a lot of passengers and freight. These days the construction of underground railway crossing such as expansion of new roads, construction of subway and gas pipe is increasing because of economic and social development. But these kinds of construction didn't take into account Cost-benefit analysis of railway which has the most important aspects of railway safety, so the results of construction didn't get a good evaluation. This study adapt Cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the economic validity of underground railway crossing. This study adjust about Cost-benefit analysis of railway part, and analyze the new method and technology of underground railway crossing constructed by Korean National Railroad and Railway Network Authority. Also this study divide between high frequency line and low frequency lineusing B/C, NPV, and IRR analysis. After analysis, B/C ratio method is the most suitable method among B/C, NPV, and IRR analysis method. Therefore this study can express economic benefit quantitatively and decrease the cost by adapting Cost-benefit analysis, and can clearly express the construction feasibility and investment effects of construction of underground railway crossing method.

망간분기기 크로싱부 인근의 진동 발생수준 예측 (Prediction of the Intensity of Vibration Around the Crossing Part of Manganese Turnout)

  • 철도운행에 있어 분기기는 열차를 주행선로에서 이웃한 선로로 이동시키는 매우 중요한 역할을 수행하는 장치이다. 분기기는 레일 궤도설비 중 유일한 가동부로 구조도 복잡하고 천이과정 중 결선부에서 차륜, 레일간의 급격한 운동변화가 필연적으로 발생되어 안전성 문제와 반복되는 통과열차의 충격하중에 의한 진동 문제가 항상 거론되고 있다. 분기기의 진동은 레일과 궤도하부 노반의 상태, 그리고 지반의 물성치 등에 따른 변수가 많으므로 해석모델로 신뢰성있는 정량적인 결과를 도출하는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 따라서 대부분의 분기기진동에 관한 문제는 순수 해석적인 기법보다는 실험과 경험에 기초한 방법을 많이 적용하고 있다. 분기기의 진동 예측은 불확실성이 높은 인자들에 대해서 실험 및 측정값을 병행함으로써 예측정확성을 높일 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존선구 망간 분기기 크로싱부에서 발생하는 진동 측정치 결과를 열차 종류별, 거리별, 분기기별로 비교 분석하고 향후 틸팅열차 증속시 망간 분기기 크로싱부에서 발생하는 진동 발생 수준을 예측 평가하였다. 예측에 사용된 지반의 동적 거동은 선형 한계에 있다고 가정하였다.

하천 트레킹 체험의 환경교육적 의미 (Meaning of Stream Trekking Experience from the Viewpoint of Environmental Education)

  • The main objective of this study was to find participant's recognition about and meaning of stream trekking activities by analyzing their reports after visiting Gumgang, which was a kind of field experience combined with environmental education programs. In addition, this work suggested a few points that might help improve trekking programs, trail establishment and the overall field activities along the river. Eighty reports were collected from the participants who had joined in the Gumgang trekking programs organized by both Green Korea United in Daejeon and Gumgang Basin Environmental Office of Korean EPA. A database of texts in the reports was created for the preliminary analysis and then the results were further examined in a qualitative methodology. The results of qualitative analysis demonstrated that before experiencing the trekking activities in the Gumgang, many participants seemed uninterested in a river itself, objectified it, or simply recognized functional roles. It is found that most participants preferred crossing rapids to other activities. Crossing rapids has the eleven positive aspects as follows. First of all, crossing rapids is fun and scary experience at the same time. Secondly, it is painful, but makes people feel happy ironically. Third, rapids themselves make people reminisce about their childhood and feel freedom. Fourth, they make people feel comfortable. Fifth, crossing rapids is addictive. Sixth, rapids have life. Seventh, people can learn how to adapt to nature through the experience in them. Eighth, they can make people cooperate. Ninth, they can make people recollect their old friends. Tenth, people can extend their experience near rapids to rivers. Eleventh, they can make people reflect themselves. There ere three remarkable findings about experience in rapids. Crossing rapids was an activity that most participants preferred and could make the goal of trekking in the Gumgang effectively achievable. By crossing rapids participants can understand both lively and painful parts of the river. Participants think tour guide was an essential part to trekking along the Gumgang.

  • 교류 전압의 위상을 검출하여 제어하는 시스템의 경우 아날로그 제어방식에서는 검출한 위상에 대해 필터링에 의한 위상 offset 부분을 보상하여 제어에 응용하고 있다. 그러나, 디지털 제어방식에서는 이러한 위상 검출을 이용하여 제어할 경우 마이크로프로세서 혹은 마이크로 컨트롤러의 동작 주파수와 입력 위상 시간과의 오차로 인하여 정밀한 제어를 이룰 수가 없다. 일반적으로 사용하는 방식이 일정한 시간이 되면 누적된 오차를 임의로 보상하여 맞추어주는 방식인데 이러한 경우 보상하기 전까지는 오차를 지속적으로 가지고 갈 수밖에 없는 상황이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 실시간으로 영점을 검출하여 마이크로프로세서의 동작 주파수에 맞도록 보상하는 방법이 필요하게 된다. 따라서 이러한 오차를 줄이면서 정밀한 디지털 제어에 응용하기 위해 본 논문에서 수행하고자 하는 연구는 다음과 같다. 1) 시뮬레이션 모델링을 통해 Zero Crossing Detection 알고리즘을 구현하여 영점을 검출을 통하여 동작 주파수에 맞도록 보상하는 방법에 관해 연구. 2) Microcontroller를 이용한 Zero Crossing Detection 설계를 통하여 실시간으로 영점을 검출하여 마이크로프로세서의 동작 주파수에 맞도록 보상하는 방법에 관해 연구. 3) Zero Crossing Detection 회로를 활용하여 BLDC 전동기의 회전자 위치 추정 연구.
